Tried Shawarma House when it first opened in Welland and wasn't impressed, thought I'd give it another shot today since they've received some good reviews. The chicken is really fatty, seems as though they do not remove the skin, not much flavour and hot sauce has no heat at all. Too bad because I really enjoy some good shawarma and falafels, having lived in Milton where there's many places to get a great shawarma.

Absolutely amazing and authentic Lebanese shawarma. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap and the shawarma poutine. The chicken was cooked really well and was full of flavour. The poutine was great and it was well enjoyed. The establishment is relatively new (2019) and has a homey look and vibe. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their foods. They also offer a lot of additional items such as specialty ice cream, cakes, and catering. We purchased a caramel cheesecake slice and it was to die for! We hope to stop in again our next time through Welland if we need a bite to eat.

I ordered through skip the dishes and when the order came it was not even close to what I paid for. I called the restaurant and Amar, supposedly the manager says he made the order himself and he knows it was correct. He refused to credit me or deliver the order. Ended up having to contact skip the dishes to receive a credit. I won't be using this credit for that place. Customer service goes a long way.

Authentic shawarma. Absolutely delicious. I’m glad I don’t have to drive to Mississauga to get good shawarma. A bit of a language barrier but that adds to the authenticity. ———————————————————————— Oh man I thought it was delicious before. The second time, I came around for take out. Bought me a chicken shawarma plate they included three different sauces on the side (garlic, tahini and a red sauce I had never had before). Good job putting it on the side. Most places either put too much or too little. Shawarma House is definitely my go to for shawarma. Thank you.

This is one of.my favorite placs to go for a bite to eat. I am hooked on chicken shawarma sandwiches and shawarma poutine from this place. The owners are very friendly everything is incredibly fresh they even make their own baked goods. The lady is always working very hard at keeping her baked goods super fresh. . If you go there often you can get a card and stamp it eat 9 sandwiches the tenth one is free . Tahini sauce is liquid gold .

Ordered food from here tonight cause I heard nothing but good word about them. 70 dollars in the garbage! Wraps were nothing but grease, the beef had no flavor but salt...salt on everything so overwhelming you couldn't enjoy the meal. Poutine had little to no cheese and literally no gravy. Never ordering from here again!

I ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken shawarma plate. The flavours were there but the quality in meat was not. The “beef” had the consistency of a sponge. The chicken was full of fat and skin. I can’t recall ever getting a shawarma plate served with the chicken skin still on. Friendly staff.

Its a very good little spot. Great food. They have another spot downtown St.Catharines. Would be 4 star. But once and a while. The beef shwarma is dry. Overall. You should give it a try.

Saw an ad on Facebook that they were selling a chocolate cake for $4 had to try it. Found out later it was a shawarma place and had to try it. The shawarma isn’t the best I’ve had and is average, the meat isn’t flavorful and there was barley any sauce and the wrap itself was pretty small. I’d still recommend Osmow’s for shawarma. But apparently they make all their desserts inhouse and the chocolate cake was amazing. No too sweet and perfectly moist. Although I would have love a bit more thicker layer of icing but for $4 I can’t complain.

Loved the shawarma but today was a different story... first of all I said I wanted everything on it but still no spices were inside and when I went to tell inside the guy inside he put it in even when I showed the shawarma... the chicken inside was not shawarma chicken instead chunks of some other chicken. Very very bad experience after spending $42

Man, am I ever sad that this placed moved from St. Catharines. Hands down the best, freshest, tastiest and most artfully put together shawarma I've ever had. Not to mention the owner is so unbelievably nice and friendly. I remember when I would go into the shop when I was pregnant and he always loaded up my food and said to make sure my baby ate well! Haha! I will never forget the kindness. Can't say enough good things.

I had heard this place has some really good food and quantity for the price and I wasn't disappointed. I have never had shawarma before so was worried a little but if your like me don't be worried as it's delicious. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with rice. Loved it and the salad was dynamite, only wished there was more it was so good. Tried to get it all down but was getting full and had to stop to save some for later. Happy I tried it out and will be getting again and recommending to anyone that asks about it.

I highly recommend the Shawarma House for their wraps. They are made fresh while you wait. You can choose from lots of toppings and flavoured sauces. I usually get the works. From the first to the last bite, you will enjoy it. The family run business is friendly and it's my go to place for a great lunchtime treat.

I am new to welland and I have been trying hard to find a good place to eat. Shawarma house came highly recommend. Unfortunately they did not meet up with the hype. I have eaten shawarma and gyro for as long I can remember. Shawarma house provided me with some of the worse gyro I ever tasted the meet shawarma was not much better, how ever the chicken wasnt that bad.

This is the last time im going here; usually my boyfriend and I enjoy the food and the staff is friendly. There was little to no greens on what I ordered as well the tomatoes were slimy I had to wipe them off the pita since it disintegrated when touched ???? another thing is that the green checkered paper that they use came off onto my food (I would suggest using something without dyes). The most horrifying part is that at the Welland location there are two young males that work there who would constantly look at me/check me out(really uncomfortable vibe). I hope this is revised and considered by staff and management so changes can be made.

Lovely Family and place. We were at Lincoln having coffee and breakfast when we wondered if we can have Zaatar in this area. We googled and found this Shawarma place and drove 30 minutes to get there. The family is so welcoming and friendly. We wished we could eat more to have shawarma but this time we were full. We will definitely come back. We still enjoyed the delicious Zaatar pita made by the lovely lady. Thank you for your kindness.

Visited this location today. Food was delicious. Definitely the best tawouq sandwich Ive had by far. Im usually very picky with my chicken at restaurants but this was a hit, perfectly cooked and wrapped. The marination was tasty as well. Also had a chicken shawarma poutine, very big proportions and just yumm. Well deserved 5 stars.

The man who makes this shawarma is an absolute food artist. My girlfriend and I always ordered our shawarma from here when it was in St. Catharines and I never realized how good it was until I went to other shawarma shops and heard from their employees that the lad who owned the Shawarma House was one of the original folks selling this type of food in Niagara. I am sad they moved to Welland now every time I order shawarma I am forced to eat WHITE RICE.....white rice with shawarma...very sad. Try other shawarma restaurants and you will see why this place is so good.

Shawarma was so small for a large I can not guess what a small would be like. My shawarma was falling apart. Really tight and untidy in their resto. It did not look very clean and was located in a shady part of town. The hype did not live up to the quality.

Been here a couple times now. Chicken shawarma was ok. But average compared to other places I have tried. Went today to try a falafel wrap. Was very disappointed. Extremely garlicky. And I love garlic! They were not crispy enough and so garlicky I could barely eat it!

I paid for 2 wraps and a plate then told the guy immediately after I paid that I had to cancel one wrap and he refused to refund it it was 2 seconds after I paid for it and the guy just refused and claims he is not the owner when I know for a fact he is the owner

I ordered 2 chicken Shawarma wraps, food tasted good, portion size could have been better for getting the lrg wraps that cost $18 for both. Main reason for the 3 star rating was because I asked for certain items like cucumbers not to be in the wraps but unfortunately they were, so I had to pick out some undesired items I didn't want while eating. In all food was good though!

I've been to dozens upon dozens of shawarma places, I have my favorite place in Orleans, but this place is one of my top three. The service can be a bit slow, but if you call ahead of time it's great. Good food and decent prices, can't complain!

I've only eaten here 2-3 times. The service is standard but with a smile typically. The food however is very good. I come from Toronto and Brampton where there is Indian and Arab foods ok every corner. Coming from the peninsula recently (hamilton/Burlington) I can say shawarma house are far better than any chair restaurants in that area. They make fantastic tabouli oh so fresh and yummy. They have generous portions but not so much you waste. They also have strangely potent and delicious garlic sauce which they are also not chinsy with. I'll be eating there a lot. Side note, they do sell hookahs and accessories too. Nice ones. Good variety They also have baklava platters (maybe just for holidays) they sure look delicious. Thanks guys.

They didn’t make my order correctly. I told them don’t worry about it I’ll just take it as it is. Refused to give me my food and insisted to remake it the way I ordered it. Told them I was hungry and just wanted my food. Still refused to give me the food. Gave me my money back. What a waste of time. Also my friend ordered a mixed meat sandwich and although the chicken looked good the “beef” they were service was clearly not beef shawarma. Looked more like cheap donair meat.

Decent prices, great chicken shawarma wraps. Nothing else like it in the neighborhood. I'm happy they set up shop so close to where I live. Loyalty card is available- every 9 orders gets you a free regular sandwich, it's a nice feature for them to offer :)

Friends recommend this place to me. They told me it was the best in the Niagara Region. They must of been high or had covid. The food had no taste. I have had communion wafers that have tasted better. The chicken was burnt and dry, but the Staff was very nice.
