Firstly I show up and park around back only to find all the restaurants staff out smoking a joint to which I was given a bunch of dirty looks for looking over as I walked around to the front. I was shocked from what I saw, especially being an ex chef for 10 years, when I witnessed a cook use his bare hands to count out an order of wings and then use that same hand to put the basket into the fryer. Then he goes over to the sink and uses the contaminated hand to turn the faucet on to simply rinse his hands under water for a second, no soap, not exaggerating at all. I was in there one time and after seeing that I will not be coming back as I could only imagine the pathogenic bacteria crawling all over from lazy cooks with no hygiene or safe food practices. So in short if you want food poisoning this is your place. Disgusting. Not to mention the owner treats the customers like a nuisance. Parades young women around he probably pays for and gets smashed at the bar and acts like a child. (both witnessed the one time I was in there and stories from friends that go there). The owner needs an attitude adjustment, the cooks need to go back to safe handling food practice classes, and the kitchen needs a good scrub down. Then maybe I'll spend my money there again.

Really good and huge portions. The large sub could feed 6 people. And they do not skimp on the ingredients. Last time I got the Philly Welland style wrap and it is packed with meat, cheese and peppers and taste amazing.

Extremely disappointed in the manager, and this place... I asked for no beef, and asked if they could sub extra veg or cheese (didn't matter) instead. I got my bill and I had to go up and ask for it, she never came to our table, it seemed a bit expensive so I looked it over after I had paid. She charged me $5 ontop of the initial price that included beef, when I spoke to the manager he said they don't do substitutions and there was nothing he could do about it. Being a manager and a server for over 10 years, I find this bad business. I'm not usually one to complain,but if you ask for something to be substituted and it isn't possible, you should explain that to your customer. Needless to say,you lost our business whether it matters to you or not, it upset me. I tipped the waitress $5, because I believed that was my due diligence. Nice knowing you don't have the same respect for your paying customers.Gr

Pizza was completely tasteless, and the steak sub i ordered was a good size but they didn't get my order right and it was way to greasy. We placed our order hours in advance and it still arrived almost 25min late. EDIT: They did get the Sub right my aunt who ordered was at fault here. And they called to see what they could do to make it right. Going above and beyond most places.

Love this place. Had someone recommend and swear by them. Huge portions. You'll be surprised at the price of a small but you get what you pay for. I imagine two small eaters could struggle to split a small sandwich. Great music. The ingredients all tasted and looked really fresh and were pouring out. I ordered the "Welland Steak" something or other and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning.

My husband and I decided to try this place out because the reviews looked decent. It was our first night out for dinner alone since having a baby and we were extremely disappointed and definitely felt like our night was ruined. We got there around 430 and there were only a couple guys sitting at a table with one of the owners, it wasnt busy at all. We had a dark haired server who came over when we walked in. We ordered an app and some drinks, they came fairly quickly. When she brought us our drinks we ordered our entrees. We didn't see the server for 20 minutes, another younger blonde server noticed us and came to check on us. We asked about our entrees which we had ordered 25 minutes before. Turns out that our server never typed our oder in, the blonde server was very helpful and apologetic but the dark haired server was not. She pretty much avoided our table and instead of saying she forgot to type the order in she just said "it's taking a while because the burgers take a bit to cook" my husband and I are both chefs, we know how long food takes to cook. We saw the other (blonde) server rushing around to get them to speed up our order. We ended up asking for the food to go because our babysitter was waiting on us. In the end it was 45 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food. The owner/manager was there the whole time and never once came over to apologize or explain the situation. We definitely will not be coming back, food was mediocre and the service was HORRIBLE (except for the younger blonde girl)

Easily some of the best subs I have ever had, nothing I can write here will do this place justice. Massive portions (Md will fill a grown man easily). We get these subs every other week on the night shift and force a guy who lives in St Kitts to bring them all the way to Hamilton on his way in. Try the Chicken Zinger you won't be disappointed.

I placed an order super late, around half hour to close and was worried that they were going to be frustrated because I was “that guy”. That wasn’t the case at all as they still made my order and were super sociable still as they closed everything down and were still warm when they sent me off with my food. So appreciative of the kindness shown after a late night of work when all I needed was some great food from a local pub! So thankful for this place as a college student!

Went with a table of 5, we all had different subs/sandwiches & apps. The appetizers are definitely better than other local pub apps, just overall quality and execution. The buffalo sandwich from the burger sectionof the menu was my favourite... The house hot sauce was unreal. But all of the food was amazing. The "small" subs are huge and loaded with meats/toppings and are delicious. 1/2 of a small sub seems equivalent to a normal foot long sub. Also remember going for pizza here a few years ago and it was so good, which is why I recommended it to the group I was with.

My husband and I were visiting Niagara Falls from Pennsylvania when we decided to find some new dinner options outside of the usual touristy/overpriced food we've been having. We stumbled upon this place with a great family owned vibe, wonderful service, and delicious food. I never knew how much I needed fried pickles in my life until now. We loved this place, easily the best meal of our trip.

Good stuff here. Perfect for all of us college kids looking for a sizable portion at an affordable cost. I personally went with a grilled cheese and it was done great and served with fries. The cheddar cheese used was a very clean but potent taste. The fries were done perfectly between crispy and soft on the inside. A couple buddies i went with had the poutine and said it was great. The large is a good dinner and the leftover (there most likely will be!) Makes a great lunch the next day after. Atmosphere was nice with 2 good tvs with some form of entertainment on along with a radio channel with music. The place was cleaned fairly well and we got service quickly. Real good place to enjoy a night with the boys

The food tastes great, but disappointed in the portion sizes. The cost has gone up, yet the portions have decreased in size. A small steak sub was half a loaf of bread, but now it's on a large sub bun. A large routine was in a large Styrofoam container, but now it's in a smaller plastic container. Come on Boyz.....if you're going to charge more.......give more!!

Great place. Cute, quiet, quaint, convenient. I had the Stag chicken burger. It was delicious. I only have two little things, maybe three. Three things... 1) If you tenderize the chicken a little more before you bread it a) it saves you ticket times which in turn saves you money b) I will actually be able to fit it in my mouth (just a psycho thing for me, I hate not being able to take my first bite out of the whole burger) 2) Half way through my meal Skip the Dishes showed up to DELIVER food to the servers which made me lose all confidence in the cook who.... 3) Looks like he absolutely hates the fact that he exists. If you're going to have an open kitchen you better me damn sure you staff it with happy, clean, well-mannered staff. That is all.

So irritated. Ordered mommaz boys through skip the dishes. Recieved our order....we got appetizers and subs. Apps were correct, but instead of our steak, and Italian sub, we got 2 buns with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese with tomato and lettuce. They have gone off line, so you can't reorder, and they're not answering their phone, so we can't get our correct order. We also left a message, over an hour ago, and we have not heard back. We have gone twice since being home from Alberta and so far the food has been great! Greek Wrap, Buffalo Wrap & poutine were all really good and the wraps are huge. The poutine is loaded too, definitely worth visiting. The inside is smaller, but not overly crowded. Best of all - the staff are so friendly!
