Lilys use to be the best. after Bamboo got to disgusting to eat there we switched to Lilys & we enjoyed their food but recently it has gone down hill. We went there as a party of 20 & it was a disaster & the food was horrible

I lived in Welland about 5-6 years ago and this was my goto Chinese restaurant. I moved away but came back recently and Lily's is still just as good as it was back in the day. The best Chinese restaurant in Welland by far, heck I might even say all of Niagara. The spring rolls are sooo good, and the rice is good too, I haven't tried all the menu items but what i have tried I've thoroughly enjoyed. If you haven't this place yet , then you must.

I stopped in at lily's cuisine at lunch time to purchase their Chinese food.....when I got home it was still hot but enjoyed most of my found it was not very tasty. It was my first time ordering the lunch during lunch time. I have eaten there at lunch supper time I prefer the evenings to eat a lily's food was very tasty and was piping hot was truly happy with the service enjoy my eating at lily's

We’ve been going to Lily’s since we moved back to Welland 3 years ago. The food is delicious and consistent. My only complaint is they’re totally unorganized on New Years Eve. We ordered the day before for 6pm. and finally got our order at 7:30. They need someone to help them to implement a better Plan to handle New Year’s Eve. To leave it the way it is, it’s inconvenient on the customers, and her staff is run ragged trying to prepare the food.

I'm sure the food is good based on other reviews but although it says they have vegetarian dishes, they are only available when ordering single dishes. There isn't a vegetarian lunch menu and none of the combos were vegetarian.

Place is out of date, not very clean, food was average wasn't awful but not good, owner a woman screams alot at employees, not very enjoyable. Also order was wrong and she scraped mine off into friend's plate told him to eat it, that was unreal! Would not return.

Lily’s food is always fresh and pricing is similar to other Chinese food restaurants. Lily always remembers our order and let’s us know if we have forgotten anything. I came from the GTA and have ordered from many different restaurants. Lily’s is the best by far.

Lilly's is one of Wellands best kept secrets! The food was amazing. We waited longer than we thought we would to get our food but it was well worth the wait. the service was great and we were served by Lily herself! The only downside I would say is the atmosphere Lily's has a nice comfortable sort of homie environment but it could certainly do with a facelift this doesn't compromise the food, however some renovations could be done in the dining area to make this a first class restaurant. Normally I would only give three stars for this with this sort of atmosphere but the food surpassed my expectations!

Like most things in this little town, where most of the people have never lived beyond St. Catharines, if it's cheap than it is golden. Even if the food is bland, tasteless and about as authentic Chinese as serving gumbo. I mean everyone praises the wonton soup - you'd have to be rather pathetic to mess up something as simple as wonton.

My mother and I went here...pretty basic old fashioned looking place sat near window...which was in desperate need of cleaning. Food was average nothing great. Owner was yelling and staff. Mixed up orders and she came over and scrapped my order off plate gave to my mother was unreal. Also while there someone ordered take out ans it was stolen. So there was alotta drama Seriously reading these reviews people found food "amazing" you must not cook or go out anywhere. Never going back.

Our family always gets Lilys and has for years. We love the food. However, the last two times we have ordered a seeming lack of organization has led to long wait times, when food has been ordered for specific times. The first time we waited an extra half hour and tonight, New Year’s Eve, our meal was an hour and half late. It would be great if there was some organization implemented in order to have more consistency between when we are told our meal will be ready and when it actually is.

Lived in Welland for 4 years and searched for a good Chinese place the whole time. Found Lily’s through FB and decided to give it a shot. It was amazing!! Food was delicious and had real flavour with no MSG, they were right on time and were super friendly when we picked it up. Definitely our new go to!!

Used to order from here all of the time. Ordered our standard order last night and price was very expensive; picked up a new menu and compared to the one we had at home - some dishes we order went up $3-4 EACH. Food quality went down too; too bad. Won't be ordering from here again.

Just ordered about $60.00 of food from Lily's and it was absolutely delicious. Enough left over from the generous portions to have a second meal tomorrow so it works out to be around $15. per person. It was the first time ordering from there and we will definitely go back. Highly recommend this restaurant.

It is new years eve and they are about 1 hour to 2 hours behind A young lady had a 530 order and it is almost 730.Kid is not giving any straight answers about what is going on Really disappointed and disorganized here right now people are pissed and they are yelling in the kitchen. Customers are angry This needs to be more organized next year Don't take so many orders that you can't handle. Or get more help new years.This can't happen again or you will have no business next year One pissed customers

I would definitely say Lily's is my favourite local Chinese restaurant. I really appreciate the consistency in her food quality each time. The chicken balls are the best - mostly chicken instead of breading. (And yes, I know some people will claim chicken balls aren't real Chinese food but I'm just saying ????)

The food is ok here. We usually just get the famous pad thai. My wife and I like the the pad thai so we can't really vouch for anything else. The poutine I had once and it was just kind of blah. Very disappointed. We don't go here as often because I cannot stand calling in. The girl who answers the phone ALWAYS gives us attitude and comes off as rude.

Was very very disappointed in the selection of their family meals but the taste as well. Everything was not only cold- but very bland and who breads spare ribs?? The lemon chicken was 90% deep friend batter and the rice was so plain and tasted horrible. No veggies in sight . Will NEVER order from here again. Don’t waste your money

My friends and i went here after church this Sunday and enjoyed one of their combination plates for 3. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and then had enough left over to take a dinner home for their older son.. Thw meal was delicous and the lady was very gracious with us. There was no one else in the restaurant, but it could not have been due to the food or service because as i said it was very good. It was also very clean there too.

How about the freshest Chinese food in the entire Niagara region! That is Lillys cuisine. We’ve been going there since Lilly openthe door, and I haven’t ordered Chinese food from any other place since. There’s no reason to go elsewhere, especially when the food so good right here in Welland. Tasting is believing, but it is also an incredible joy at Lillys cuisine.

Super disappointing. We wanted to try a new chinese restaurant in Welland and after looking at reviews Lily's sounded like the perfect choice. The food was a bit more expensive than other places... That's fine- but the quality was just not there. Literally everything we ordered was flavourless (spicy phad thai, chicken fried rice, pork chow mein, wonton soup, general tso chicken, and egg rolls), and even weirder the food was suspiciously lacking in sauce. The general tso chicken MIGHT have had 1tsp of sauce over the whole dish, whereas I'm used to it being covered in sticky sauce- it might as well have been chicken balls. The rice was dry and unappetizing, the chow mein tasted like if you took bean sprouts out of a bag and quickly steamed them with nothing else, and the phad thai had the weirdest barbecue sauce flavour that's hard to put into words. I tried eating everything the next day as leftovers (I find chinese takeout sometimes tastes better the day after), and I just couldn't do it. What a strange and overall disappointing experience.
