Nice surprise. This place is well hidden in Waterloo behind Phil’s, a well known University hang out. The irony is that this couldn’t be more different. The vibe is mature and relaxed live music. Blues. Jazz. Folk. Rock and whatever else will make your toes tap. I was pleasantly surprised and this was a Tuesday Jam Night. The talent there was raw and awesome all at the same time. The bar is well stocked too! I should also mention the restrooms as well. They are cute, clean and a good representation of the rest of the place. My only suggestion would be to invest in some awesome LARGE screens across the front of the second level with multiple views of high def or even 4K video of the live music below. That would take this place from good to great for every seat in the house. Technology can take this place to next level for sure.

We spent a wonderful evening with friends at Lana’s Lounge this weekend. Such a fun spot. The food was all delicious. Terrific cocktails too. Entertainment by Double Impact was fantastic. Congratulations to Marissa and Shan on this unique establishment. Can’t wait to return!

In the home of the former Raintree Cafe, Lana’s Lounge is a cute spot. They have an interesting menu that makes it difficult to peg them as a certain “type” of venue.

Great staff, nice atmosphere, good entertainment (starts at 6pm which is great) . I didn't eat but menu looks good, reasonably priced and others in the restaurant seemed to really enjoy their meals. I 'll definitely come back

Been here 3 times total now . As a musician to open mic jam and see my old mentor play a gig here as well. First couple times was about a year and half ago. Most recently this week amidst of the covid world. All I can say is each time I’ve constantly had an amazing time been greeted with hospitality and kindness and the food and drinks have never disappointed . It’s a small location but a hidden Jem in the Waterloo area really and you can’t go wrong Lanas Lounge provides a quality experience in every regard .

Excellent food! Warm and cozy atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff! They had live music but it wasn't too loud so you could still talk with the people at your table.

I sent a small group from work there last night and, they couldn't have been more pleased with the food, the hospitality and the entertainment. I always try to send groups to locally owned restaurants and Lana's Lounge definitely did not disappoint!!! Kuddo's to Lana's Lounge.

Absolutely the best uptown has offered in years. The food is amazing, the owners are incredible people, and their live music makes it an experience. They even made me off menu items and didn't want me to pay for it when I was on a strict recovery diet. I love these people and their amazing restaurant. Their food just feels fresher and healthier.
