Great value for what you get, friendly service. Parking can be difficult. May I suggest to have your bread be sourdough or at least whole wheat and also offer dairy free ice cream for the lactose intolerant, thx ☺️

The service here was great, very friendly and attentive without hovering. We tried the Child's pizza, lunch lasagna, and chicken Parmigiano. The Child's pizza was tasty, but larger than necessary, the lasagna was acceptable but somewhat bland, and the chicken Parmigiano was very good. Some of the silverware was a bit dirty but the service staff replaced it quickly once the issue was raised.

We went here because it was close to the museum and we had heard good things. We were seated very quickly, and served almost straight away. The food was great, as was the service. The manager clearly cares a lot about his restaurant, the staff and his patrons. All Covid protocols were followed and we felt safe eating there. Over all a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend!

Manicotti was delicious, as was the rest of the food. However, the server I had was not so good. Salad came quickly. She completely forgot the bread until I mentioned it. After finishing my main course, I waited at least 10 minutes for her to come back and check if I needed water, which I did. No new ice cubes. I had to ask for the dessert and a coffee. Cold coffee without asking if I wanted milk or cream. At this point I couldn't be bothered to ask for either since the coffee was cold anyway. Very disappointed with the service.

Overall pretty good. But my vegan daughters meal was as bland as could be. They never asked how her meal was and she barely touched it. That part was disappointing.

Great place for a family lunch, with unique ambiance and decor. The chicken sandwich was incredible, but the included salad and ice-cream were not good. Waiting for a table was awful, we had to sit in the hallway for 30 mins and the waiters were good but overwhelmed.

Great food, great service! Generous portions of very good food....my grilled chicken was tender and very tasty. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinners. We sat outside and though it got chilly at times, the outdoor heaters kept us comfortable. We will be returning for the next family occasion!

We went here for our 11th anniversary. It was so yummy with great service too. We ordered the seafood fettuccine alfredo (with linguine noodles), and it had a great amount of seafood. Also the bread and garlic whipped butter is epic. I love the all inclusive dinner features. Soup or salad, hot tea or coffee, pistacio or vanilla ice cream, Dinner. And bread. So tasty and all for a great price. We went with the ceasar salad sides (extra $2-3 ish) and definitely worth it.

The interior of this place is absolutely gorgeous. Then you hear the music, it sounds like a 14 year old slumber party, the music is an insult to a place that is based around Italian food. Give me some smooth jazz or classical, not this lamestream radio garbage. But it will take more than good music to save this place from my restaurant black list. The food, is an insult to the Italian cuisine. Everything is cheap and doesn't taste any better than a frozen TV dinner. The servers need to work on their skills aswell. My husband and I came here for the first and last time. I would tell you what we ordered but it was so awful I have suppressed its memory. We came hungry and optimistic, we left very disappointed.

Came to Victoria for wife's birthday with our 19 month old kid. We had great service, from walking in, to getting are drinks to are food. Staff was great and so was the manager checking up on tables. The food was better here then what we get back in Vancouver. Great job team Victoria, keep it up.

I was so impressed by the service from Athena! It was our first time out at a restaurant since Covid and were not disappointed. The food was amazing and Athena was spectacular, She was attentive, friendly, and funny. She went above and beyond and made sure our every need was met and that we were having a good time. It's not everyday you are receive such service. I hope She is recognized for her efforts. It's days later and we are still talking about how great a night we had. Thank you!

The Spaghetti factory in Victoria is always a good place to go. Good service, good food and reasonable prices. Easy to get to in downtown when you don't want to hunt for a specialty restaurant, just good food. Recommended it.

Had an awesome dinner experience last night at this location. Our server Trevor was really friendly, polite and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. Food wise, all I can say is that it was 10/10 and omg so good! Meatballs were cooked perfectly, super tender and juicy! My 6 year old simply did not say one word while eating his spaghetti and did not leave one single piece of pasta left on his plate! Amazing experience!!! Thank you!

The restaurant probably have the best staff in Victoria. The service is amazing and the servers are fantastic. They are friendly, efficient and just wonderful. However, we wish we enjoyed the food as much as the service. Maybe they just had a bad day. None of the dishes we ordered tasted fresh. The meatballs tasted hard, dry and chewy. The kid's pizza tasted like bad quality frozen pizza. The other spaghetti we had was disappointing. We really wish we liked the food because once again, the service is amazing. But unfortunately I don't think we are going back.

Ordered take out-very disorganized, hostess was rude when we asked where to pick up our order. Had to wait in the middle of the hallway for 15 min after pickup time. Drove 45 min, Got home to realize that we had no bread,soups,salads,forks, nothing but the pasta. When I called to ask for a partial refund as I'm not from the area the floor manager said no problem, she was unable to that but would get another manger to call and help us out. It's been over a week now with no call. Won't be going again on our next trip, disappointed in the customer service.

Was told a 35 minute wait, came back and checked in and was told it wouldn't be much longer. Ended up sitting for another 40 minutes without any acknowledgement before we bailed. I can understand being busy, that's fine. But at least come outside, be honest, say the wait will be another hour so we don't sit baking in the sun. Couldn't even review the food because the service was non existent.

Honestly this is such a tourist trap because it is right downtown. The food is actually pretty bad and there are so many great Italian restaurants like Pagliacci’s and Il Covo that top it.

We went there on Saturday night at 8:30pm. Had to wait for half an hour because we wanted to sit inside. One of the hostesses certainly looked like she didn't want to be there. Server was alright but I guess it's late in the day and they are tired and ready to go home. Good was tasty as always.ake sure even if they don't tell you, entrees come with ice cream and coffee or tea.

Food was really good. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, welcoming. Prices are great and everything-included makes it easy to budget for 4-or-more. Personnel were great from host to server; seem like they worked well as a team during a busy, busy visit. On a sunny mid-afternoon I walked in as a single guest. I got taken ahead of walk-in groups of 3+ and large group reservations. I got visit. Not 'fine dining' but fine enough for me! Service and customer attention: top-notch 5/5!

We came to visit the island as a Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children (12, 8, 5 years old). This was the most disappointing experience of our trip. We arrived at 7:40pm for a later dinner and also hoping to beat the crowds as we don't eat out often since COVID. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait which was fine. The kids and I asked for a menu so we knew what to order when we sat down. We were sat at 7:50pm as promised and ordered the food and drinks for the 5 of us. They brought the normal bread and butter and drinks almost right away. The waiter was training but super friendly and did as good a job as possible. However, our order did not arrive until 9pm. That is an HOUR to wait for out food. The only reason anyone realized this was a problem was because the waiter in training came back to ask us if we'd like our ice cream or coffee! We told him we hadn't even eaten dinner yet. a few minutes later his training partner came and asked us the same. I could not believe this! The kids were starving and tired and falling asleep at the table. No one really offered any apologies and on the survey I did, no one bothered to respond either. Terrible service - we will not be back

Went for dinner with my family. Our servers name was Brock. He was the worst server I've very experienced. Had to ask him multiple times for drinks and our bill. The food my mom ordered was very chewy and over cooked. And there is 2 different prices for some food items. When asked about he said yeah I know and was ok charging me for the higher priced item even though it's advertised at another price. This place used to be good now it's very sub par. Owner asked me to send an email to the GM which I've done, yet no response from him. Very sad!!!

Nice place with old school theme. The complementary bread and butter is so delicious. Staff was polite. There is lunch special from 1230 to 230 which is pocket friendly delicious meal. Clean place with clean washrooms. Food was palatable and quantity was good. One pasta dish is more than enough for a person.

Love coming here! The service is always top-notch: the hostesses and servers are always attentive and friendly, the atmosphere always warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious with great portions - all at an excellent price! Can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience/meal here or through takeout! They’re also great for accommodating large groups such as birthdays (pre-covid restrictions), and are family friendly. There’s a reason they can be QUITE busy (make a reservation on popular occasions)! Highly recommend the Penne w/chicken, or the Pesto Linguine w/prawns. A drink on their patio during Summer surrounded by their beautiful flower baskets is also a must!

Love this place. The service has always been good, the patios are great. Though I'll no longer be able to go here after Sept. 13 because I'm naturally healthy, I still had to credit them for this little gem of a story. The other day I got take away and the dressing was forgotten. The meal was a big salad so I called to tell them. I live about 2 blocks away, and was already home. The manager walked over the dressing! ???? NOW THAT'S SERVICE!

I usually try to be understanding because I work in the service industry but yesterday was just not it for me. Firstly, service was not great. We had to ask three or four times for blankets as we were sitting on the patio, as staff kept forgetting. Next, we were given our starters but no cutlery! We were waiting for about 10-15 minutes staring at our food without having the cutlery to eat with. When they finally brought cutlery, almost everyone at my table had dirty cutlery with old food on it, from previous customers. Our server seemed unapologetic. Secondly, the food was sub-par. It was definitely not a punch-in-the-face flavor type of dinner. My mango iced tea was not mixed properly either. I left not only underwhelmed by the food, but very very disappointed with the service. I will edit this review when I get response from a manager and this matter is corrected.

We had a dinner at this location last night. We waited for around 10 minutes to be seated. The server was kind and nice. The food was plain and cold. The beef sauce taste like a canned sauce, unfortunately. Not eating here again.

I would highly recommend this place if you are going with kids and looking for good value for your buck. The all in menu is great, lots of good options and the service is great. Parking is an issue but you can walk to this place easily.

Reserved the table online two weeks before we visit Victoria. The location is excellent, walking distance to all downtown attractions. The food quality is excellent and as they said 'refreshing prices'. Highly recommended.

The service was absolutely abysmal! We got there at 1:23, waited 7 minutes ro be seated and it went downhill from there. Our waiter, Jordan, came to the table in reasonable time, arrived with bread and took our orders for drinks, 2 waters, a coffee and Child's chocolate milk. 20 minutes later we got our drinks. He was clearing tables as well as fixing drinks at the bar instead if attending to our orders. Once we finally got the drinks we requested, we ordered our meals. 45 minutes later we got our meals! At no time during this wait were we approached to see if we wanted anything else to drink, or more bread. We did get our salads which were good. We had a 6 year old with us that was getting very hungry and irritable by now as his lunch was taking forever. Our meals were hot so we know they hadn't been sitting forever but we're they put in right away?? The spaghetti was okay, filling. The 6 yr old had ordered a child's spaghetti and he received an adult portion and was subsequently charged for an adult meal. That was changed once pointed it was out. Ince again no follow up from our waiter regarding our meals. And at that time of day the restaurant was not busy. We walked out of the restaurant at 3:16. 7 minutes shy of 2 hours for lunch at what is basically a sit down fast food restaurant. Not very impressive to say the least. It has been many years since we have been at the Old Spaghetti Factory and if we ever went again it would be too soon.

It was busy. We had some hungry, slightly cranky babies, but only 4 adults. Three of which ordered hot food. And it still took over an hour to get our meals. Other tables around us that only had four people were seated after us and fed before us. Overall, they accommodated us. And our server was kind. But our experience was a bit disappointing.

I am kinda frustrated with their food quality and hygiene. My glass was not washed and we had a fly in water pitcher. Let's say that was a bad luck. But I could not believe the low quality of food. I ordered pene with chicken which it barely had 3 tiny chicken pieces in it. I would say the dish was tasteless. I hope it was a bad luck overall. I was constantly asking myself why this place is so crowded despite the low quality. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. The assigned waiter was very polite and dedicated to his job which I really liked. With this food quality it is worth it to go back if only it has 90% discount.

It was hard to find a real restaurant in Victoria. The old spagetti factory was good for family dinner and servers were very helpful. Dining place was wide and there was enough space between tables. I would like to say here is better than other famouse restaurants.

I loved this place! After a tour in the Royal BC museum, we decided to have a lunch here. The 100-year story behind this building was so lovely. The restaurant gets pretty busy during lunch time. But, the staff were super friendly and served the food pretty fast. Indeed, we asked them for a bit faster service as we were in a rush. They served us all courses including the coffee, ice cream, and soup in less than 45 minutes! Fantastic! The quality of food was fairly good, too.

Reasonable prices for full course meal ($14.99). Very busy. Food was very good, serving size large, and price included salad, entree and dessert. Staff professional and attentive (some guests quite demanding - I appreciated the staff's professionalism!). Very busy so I recommend making reservations in advance, even for solo travellers and diners. Conveniently located one block from the Inner Harbour and four blocks from the Bay Centre Shopping Centre, the Old Spaghetti Factory Victoria is a good dining experience. It is super busy during high season; be prepared, it can be hard to get a table. Ambience is comfortable (but busy during high season), no loud music, and oriented to a whole family experience. The menu is generic American-Italian but done well with substantial serving sizes. Give the Old Spaghetti Factory a try for a three-course meal at an amazing price in downtown #VictoriaBC.

Very good food, smaller portions of soup from years gone by though (which is a little disappointing for a self-described soup lover ????), and fast, friendly service. Restaurant was welcoming and clean, and bustling busy for a Wednesday night (after us, the wait was fairly long, the line-up of folks waiting was out the door and down the sidewalk), so if you can reserve a table ahead, I would recommend doing so! It is our tradition to go to the Old Spaghetti Factory every time we have reason to travel to Victoria from our home up island. Overall, it did not disappoint! ????

The food is mediocre, but prices are great! Love getting a 3 course meal plus coffee for under $15 (had one of their lunch specials for $13.75)! Service was extremely slow though. We had a reservation yet we still waited 15 minutes to be seated.

Was very busy when we dined here, but we were in a relatively secluded section at the back. This seems to attract lots of families, so expect children. They do have a large patio that gets lots of Sun if you are looking to dine outside. I had the Chef's choice pasta , where you can combine two sauces. I had Mushroom Alfredo and Spicy Meat Sauce. The former was surprisingly my favorite of the two, but neither blew me away. The bread seemed a little dry...like it had been baked the say prior. Unfortunate because I really enjoyed the bread at a different location years ago. Service was good until we needed to pay the bill, which took some time, but not a huge deal. Overall, it was good, but seemed a little pricey.

A great place to take the kids after visiting the Royal BC Museum. It’s pretty much exactly what you’ve seen at every other OSF, except it has a way nicer patio and the salad comes in a plate / bowl type thing that I haven’t seen before. It contains the salad way better. The server was so nice to deal with. But overall it seemed like the service was way slower than other locations I’ve been to. I’m not sure if it is a Victoria thing where things in general move slower? Waited 15 min for our table or 7 to be prepped even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Food took a while, too. Will still be back because … Spumoni baby!
