My husband and I came here for the first time during last week and we really enjoyed it. For appetizers, I had the truffle ravioli and my husband had the onion soup. He enjoy his soup and I thought the ravioli was probably the best ravioli I have ever had. For our entrees, I had the salmon which was also great and he had the steak tartar I believe. For dessert, we ordered the croquants caramel and the profitteroles; these were delicious. This was a great experience and we certainly plan on returning.

It's been a few years since I've been back and was looking forward to coming back to Tableau again. I love the wooden elegant atmosphere. The service was top notch. Judy was our server. She was so attentive not only to us, but to everyone she served. The food was just as memorable as many years ago. My friend had the Steak tartare, mushroom on Toast and Beef with homemade Pasta (Brunch Menu) All were delicious and I need to go back more often!

I love this place. I Absolutely love their happy hour. I would say it is one of the best in Vancouver. The service provided by the Brazilian waiter was outstanding (sorry I forgot his name!!! But he’s awesome) Everything was perfect, the food was incredible, drinks were amazing and service was 10 out of 10. We will be back very soon!!!

My partner and I chose Tableau Bar Bistro for our anniversary dinner and it was the perfect choice. The service was ridiculously good, all of the staff were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. Our server Miguel was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with all of our questions, he was great! The food was delicious. I am a vegetarian and was worried I was going to miss out but we were able to get quite a few things on the menu. Our favourite was the French onion soup, it was very rich and comforting, followed by mushrooms on toast and the squash galette. I loved the food, the service and the overall experience that we had at Tableau. I only wish that I had known to come here sooner but now that I know, we will be back!

They bond with us over shared love of delicious, fresh, clever dishes and deliver on everything they promise. Lovely patio and cute interior. I will go back again and again. Great that they consistently have wonderful vegetarian options. My previous brunch experience below applies not at all anymore! Old 2017 review from brunch only: Really tasty brunch but slow service. The place was dead and there were three waiters walking around but none would talk to us for about 15 minutes. Once served though the food was good and fresh. I'd go back.

Amazing food! (best stake tartare and stake frites I've ever had in Vancouver). Amazing staff! (the Spanish girl on the front door and the waiters are friendly and kind plus they gave us a glass o bubbles and a salad because the food was taking longer than expected). Very sweet! Consistently lovely. Have gone here many times, often for special occasions, and the staff and food are great. Both Brunch and Dinner have their own special element. Food examples: Lamb was perfect. Couscous side was a little overdone for my liking but the flavour was there. Canard à l'orange, was perfectly pink, taste was nice but I could have used more sauce! The sauce was delicious. Unfortunately the vegetables were placed between the duck and it's sauce.... Drink examples: 1181 was so nice and fresh. Not too sweet, and perfect for summer. 20th Century was... how to describe... Heaven. It tasted like sipping on a cloud in heaven (of course I can only imagine but I want to go back for more). La Bicyclette was a nice bitter addition to the night. I wouldn't choose this drink again but it reminded me of an old-fashioned (if you added grapefruit). The only real critique I would have for this week's visit (a group of 5 of us), we all agreed, the food could have arrived a much hotter temperature. #TableauBistro #Vancouver

Have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. We went for a birthday dinner and didn't know what to expect. Food was really good. Beef tartare, scallops, ribs and duck were great. Even though it was plenty of food, we didn't feel heavy after dinner. Natasha was our host and she was amazing. Truly a great server that is around just enough to make it known you are taken care of, while leaving you alone to enjoy your food and conversation. She was also super sweet to bring a little something for us after our dinner as a "Happy birthday" gift. Thanks Natasha! We will definitely be back.

It is rare to find a restaurant where they get every dish spot on. Usually among 4-6 dishes two people order, there are great ones and ok ones. But it wasn't the case here. Everything was delicious, nice selection of wine and a very nice bartender (we sat at the bar) who looked after us. This was our second time but they were consistent and just as good as we had remembered. We'll be back!

This place has gone downhill badly in the last year or so, both for brunch and for dinner. Service is now mediocre instead of good-to-great, and the food quality, presentation, and menu choices have dropped two letter grades. I could pick on their charcuterie, their seafood tower, the eggs Benedict, the salads. But the net is, something changed and one of our favorites isn't worth spending time and money on anymore. Hopefully they can correct.

I could order anything at random and be confident it will be amazing. Steak tartar was particularly fantastic. Just the right amount of attention from the server, and he was extremely helpful when explaining some of the dishes if you're new to French cuisine.

One word. Excellent! I had the duck and hubby had the steak eat frites and both were outstanding. We started with the foie gras ( which could have been served at room temperature) but nonetheless was superb. Highlight was the creme brûlée- tasty, generous portion and serve with a sugar cookie in shape of Eiffel Tour. Service was excellent t. Thanks to Nate! Great menu with amazing service! Had an linner (lunch/dinner) at Le Tableau today with Jessica from France as our great server. We had a bottle of bubbly and the Eifle tower to eat. It had the best Fois gras soaked in sweet wine, raw PEI oysters steak tartare both which I am not a fan of but love them both now. delicious prawns, crab legs, tuna tartare, ceviche scallops with dill, apple and jalapeño, mussels in a lovely marinade, and great ecoutrouments like pickled turnips, candied walnuts, French bread, pickles , sauces for the oysters and steak tartare and shrimp. We had a wonderful experience and sat on the patio and highly recommend this little unknown French restaurant in Vancouver. ????????????

The food and drink were for the most part good, but the overall experience left a little bit to be desired. We had reservations, but when we arrived, our table was still occupied so we had to wait about 20 minutes. Not a huge deal as we were able to grab a seat at the bar to bide our time, but just an unfortunate start to the evening. A couple of us ordered steak frites, which was delicious but our fries took a good 10 minutes to come out after the rest of our food had been delivered. Also, the garlic aioli that came with the fries was quite bland and mostly just tasted like mayo. We sampled several wines, but were underwhelmed by all of them. Instead we stuck to the cocktail menus which was all very good. Finally, toward the end of our meal we asked our waiter about our car parked in he parkade immediately next door to the restaurant - we had thought we saw a sign saying the gate closed at 10:30, but weren't sure. He said he had no idea as they weren't affiliated, and left it at that. When we left the restaurant at 10:30, low and behold, the gate was closed and our car was locked inside. I understand they are not affiliated, but from a strictly courteous and customer service standpoint, it's something they should clearly be aware of and maybe even make mention of when people arrive. Long story short, service and wine was kinda 'meh', and don't park in the parkade next door if you have a later dinner reservation.

First time and will not be back. Service was not good. Our waiter was trying but you can tell he did not have proper training. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, asked for soft eggs. It arrived at the table cold with hard eggs. The restaurant is over rated in my opinion.

Boyfriend and I read up about this place during our stay at Loden. We came during appy hour and the meals were delicious. Leah was our server and she was bubbly and very attentive. The decor was chic and absolutely dig the deep house music playing throughout the stay. There was so much food that we took it to go and grazed on it until our departure at Tsawwassen terminal during a sailing wait. Next time to Vancouver, we'll have to try the place again for the dinner service (boyfriend caught the neighboring table having bone marrow and alerted me immediately as he knows I love that dish)

Came here for our anniversary dinner and was very happy with our experience. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, gifted us with champagne for our special day. I LOVED my experience at Tableau for their brunch. First of all, the service was outstanding. I felt important and cared for by all their staff. My husband and I sat in the patio and enjoyed it. The food was ???????????????????????????????? I had smoked salmon eggs Benedict & my husband had the croque madame and upgraded his fries to the truffle fries. I HIGHLY recommend trying their truffle fries if you get a chance. They were some of the best fries we had ever tasted. ???? we were also impressed that they clearly didn’t use ‘cheap eggs’, but good quality eggs that were a strong orange colour. My husband has a mimosa with his breakfast and I had a bon-alcoholic La Provençal (basically a sparking lemonade sweetened with lavender honey). I really enjoyed my drink. If you get a chance to go here, do it! You won’t regret it. It was a perfect choice for brunch on our 11th wedding anniversary ????

Service was a bit disoriented, either lack of it at first and then too much of it. Our food took an increasingly long time despite being asked if we were in a hurry, they kindly provided us with bread in the meantime but finally when we received our charcuterie board as an appetizer we had become so full after the rounds of bread to really enjoy our main dish. The organization of the large table reservation was excellent, the server we had was very friendly but unfortunately everyone from our team felt it was not as enjoyable as it could be.

Tableau is a fabulous little french restaurant with a wicked little happy hour and really yummy food. Happy hour starts at 2:30(yay!) And it has a fantastic mix of wine, beer and eats from their regular menu. The fish cakes are to die for!! So good I usually get two orders. Decent prices and the space itself is beautiful to sit and have a glass of wine in.

Very lovely experience dining here. Servers were not only well dressed but well mannered, friendly, outgoing, and attentive. Being vegan, I was treated well and thoughtfully. However, I'm use to being forgotten about, so I questioned my server when my food came n they said that here's my vegetarian food. I questioned my server to be sure that it was vegan n they apologized. They said that they missed the fact that my dish was made vegan instead of vegetarian. Plus I was there to celebrate someone's bday n the cake that was brought wasn't, which didn't bother me, but one of the staff brought me a two scoop bowl of raspberry sorbet just so I wouldn't be the sole celebrant not enjoying dessert. I was very surprised by such thoughtfulness by restaurant staff. Kudos to everyone on a great experience. TYVM!

Great food but, they were not following this covid protocol as tables were not 2 metres away from each other. If that’s the case, they must have physical barriers between tables. Tables were extremely close which made us uncomfortable. Luckily, we were given with 2 tables which we could have our own 2 metres apart just feel little safe ????… Anyways, won’t be back till covid is over! Good luck dining in this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I decided to visit Tableau after finding out about their new Happy Hour offer. It was especially attractive to us seeing that their 50% deal included their cheese and charcuterie board. We really enjoyed our time at Tableau, the food was great and their house wine was great as well. The happy hour half off allowed us to get both their meats and cheese for the price of one, but we found it hard to justify pricing to portions at regular price. Atmosphere was great and servers were great too. Would definitely visit again.

Made reservations to eat here while staying at the Loden. Came on a relatively empty night but made the dinner quiet and romantic. Ordered the bone marrow with steak tartare and French onion soup to start. Split the Moules Frites for entree. Both were very good and not salty like other places I've tried. The sauce for the mussels is very different but once you get to eating it, it grows on you. I would suggest as per our waiter suggested, to get the frites on the side. Also ordered one of the signature cocktails "Breathless" which is their version of an old fashioned. Great tasting and had great aromatics.

Chic, elegant New York vibes are to be found here. We went for happy hour and enjoyed a wonderful bubbly from the selection of discounted bottles. There’s a large range of options on bubbly and food. Truffle fries, escargot and charcuterie were the perfect accompaniment for the toast. Definitely an elevated experience in a gorgeous neighborhood.

Came here four times: two Breakfast, one Happy Hour, and one dinner. Overall four stars! One star reduction from five because of one incident over dinner and the seafood tower being not too fresh. Amazing ambiance though, great for girls night out or date nights. Despite the incident, I would still return. Breakfast: avocado toast, tableau breakfast, mushroom on a roast, omelette, followed by two latte, one mocha. Food was generally good, not the best but worth 4.5 stars. Latte was pretty terrible. I would not order their latte again. Mocha was okay.. Happy hour: Eiffel tower ($115) - two oysters were really bad, foie gras was something we couldn’t swallow due to smell and this was not the first time having foie gras, we've had better ones in the past, mussels/scallops/snow crab were fresh. Given that this is the most expensive item (basically their signature thing) on the menu during happy hour and we were not too satisfied, I removed one star from this experience. Fries were tasty. Dinner: NY 10oz steak, french onion soup (I thought it needs more cheese compared to the soup I had tried in France), and truffle topped fries followed by two glasses of red wine. Steak was amazing, top quality. French onion soup was also one of the best I found in North America. Fries = heaven. Just one flaw was the service, the server spilled french onion soup all over the table and onto our pants and arms, but she just said “oops”, and moved on. We did not burned or anything, but the fact that she never said sorry was a disappointment. The wait was quite long to get the table ready. Yes it was Sat night, but we were quoted 20mins and we waited almost 45mins. Overall, we still had a great experience here. Will return and highly recommend!

Went here for brunch, the service here is very good, our server was french and knows the menu well. Good attentive service, very accommodating, answered any questions we had with our menu, water was constantly refilled, and food was good. I ordered the chicken waffles which I was told is a popular item. I do not regret ordering this, the fried chicken was nicely seasoned, crisp, not as greasy as other fried chicken waffles, and the gravy was nicely flavoured without being excessively fatty or heavy. The waffles and syrup was also delicous and complimented the savoury chicken well. I recommend you order this dish if you never tried before. We will be back.

We had a party of 10, which they really couldn't accommodate properly in that space. Someone else commented in a review that the prices are "absurd" and I somewhat agree, depending on what you order. I enjoyed the overpriced scallops I ordered and I loved the trout tartare, but our Brussels sprouts were very very over salted. I think there must have been a mistake and the kitchen salted them twice, but more than one of us ordered them at different times and each serving was too salty. The dessert was not good at all, but the trout and some other items my friends ordered (French onion soup, risotto, hamburger, poutine) would bring me back.

Came here for brunch, it was soooo incredible. The service is outstanding, the ambiance is perfect and of course the food is amazing too. I had the brioche french toast and it was so good. They put bourbon maple syrup on it, and the presentation is wonderful. The mimosas were super yummy too. A bit pricey for sure but you absolutely get what you pay for. Highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

My first time trying this restaurant after coming here for my work Christmas lunch. The food was amazing and the service was great! The French Onion Soup was huge and very rich in flavour. Although the soup was an appetizer, it could have been a meal in itself. The steak was so tender and juicy; I can't remember the last time I had such a good steak! Our server, Judy was so amazing and very patient with all of us. She was always so smiley and very happy to serve us. As I don't drink alcohol, she asked if I wanted a mocktail and gave me different options to choose from, which I thought was very thoughtful of her.

Have been to Tableau multiple times over the years and they never disappoint. This time we went for brunch and had the Mushrooms on Toast, Le Burger and the Crepes Suzette. Move over avocado toast, mushroom toast is where its at and the mushroom toast here is amazing! Get the black truffle shavings too, it adds a lot to the dish! Because they are located in the Loden Hotel they have very good hours which is appreciated. Will definitely return.

Tableau is always my go to for high quality and consistent French cuisine. It’s never crazy busy which I love, because then you can actually hear your friends/guests. What I really love is that EVERYTHING is always delicious and executed well. While this is French cuisine, Tableau doesn’t use too much salt or butter that other French restaurants use which can make it overkill. I usually order the New York steak frites (which used to come as an entire strip loin but now is cut up), and also the duck breast. The duck breast is always SO moist and never dry. The steak frites is a classic and you can’t go wrong. I also usually order the steak tartare which I cannot get enough of (love the little quail egg). I have ordered the French onion soup here and really liked it as well, but the steak frites, duck and steak tartare are my staples and highly recommended!

Was treated to lunch at this gem of a place for French cuisine. My colleagues had the burger and raved about it. I had their lunch special which was a duck sandwich on sourdough...sorry...I make it sound so plain but trust me it was anything but. Tender duck with bacon on sourdough. Super flavourful! Delicious food - we both ordered the trout and it was fantastic, perfectly cooked but the highlight was definitely their cheesecake dessert which was recommended by our server. I normally don't like cheesecakes because I find most to be too dense and rich but the one they make at the restaurant is insanely light and fluffy. Not too sweet either, just perfectly decadent and probably the best cheesecake I've ever had! I also love that they not only serve west coast oysters but they have east coast ones as well. Service was excellent. Amazing experience overall.

Always a wonderful dining experience! The staff is very attentive, yet not overly in-your-face like most N. American restaurants. They are knowledgeable on their wine list and pairings. We had such a lovely time at Tableau Bar Bistro. We decided at the last minute to have some French food on our last day in Vancouver and it just so happened that Tableau Bar Bistro was close to our hotel. Making a reservation was easy. Everyone at the restaurant welcomed us warmly and our server, Rochelle, was amazing and oozed joie de vivre. The food we ordered (French Onion Soup, Coq Au Vin, and Lobster Louie) were all very tasty and hit just the right spot along with the wine (for me at least as my other half doesn't drink). Overall, the atmosphere was informal and set the right tone for the night: good French food, good French wine, and great people who made sure we enjoyed the first two. What more can one ask?

I had the most amazing dining experience at tableau bar bistro. Everything from the staff, atmosphere and food was better than I was expected. I ate from their brunch, happy hour and dinner menu and each time I was surprised by how delicious everything was. I would definitely go back.

Quinn was excellent! The food and ambiance are superb! The Canard and the steak were delicious. The only thing that sucks was the reservation/ host or hostess. We specifically asked and reserved for table 20 or 21 but when we arrived, they gave our table away. I even called an hour before our reservation to make sure we have that table but the host gave it away. If that’s the case, what’s the point of reserving? That’s the only thing that turned us off.

The Tableau board, steak tartare and Caesar salad all came out delicious at the end. It wasn't super busy and our server pretty much left at the end so we were confused and had to flag someone down to get the bill and pay hence the 4 stars.

This place celebrates the simplicity of high quality french food. We arrived at around 9pm and were greeted by friendly staff who were very very attentive. The ambience reminded me of an underground jazzy bar with few, fancy guests and classic black and white tiled flooring. We started of with a delicious mushroom on toast creation that was the perfect decedent beginning of a lovely meal. For the main, we both had steaks, both of which were cooked perfectly and served with french style fries and a side salad. For a sweet ending, we shared a delicious Mont Blanc cake that consisted of a dense chocolatey base, topped with Chestnut cream and house-made biscuits. Every part of the meal was artfully displayed and embraced the cuisine. This is the perfect place for a fancy dinner for two!

So normally I really like this place, however lately they seem to be headed downhill. The last experience was really bad and service was nonexistent. It was more important for our server to chat with the hostess about his weekend plans then to service the table. We had to send the very dry and tasteless crab cakes back but of course the server was busy with the hostess. Luckily, or so I thought, the manager came to the table and asked if we wanted something else. He said that he was going to get rid of the food in the kitchen and would be right back. He never came back. Seriously, I'm still waiting... ???? and the crab cakes were still on the bill which was really bad because can you guess... no-one was around to fix it! Needless to say, their happy hour did not make me very happy.

The food and service is great at Tableau. We drive up from Seattle a few times a year to visit Vancouver and we always plan to eat at Tableau. The reason why this restaurant is receiving a 2 star rating is due to to the unprofessionalism from one of the staff. As my wife, son, and I were eating dinner one of the staff showed zero respect for us as a family. She gave my wife and I looks while walking by and was trying way too hard to flirt and show off. She ended up looking unprofessional. The most dissatisfactory part of this experience was that when we got up to leave the restaurant this waitress walked up between my wife and I and pushed her way between the two of us. This was the most bizarre experience I've had in a restaurant and also found it to be aggressive towards my wife. We've never seen anything like this at any restaurant we've been to. We called the manager to speak about this experience and to be honest, his answer was not very respectful of understanding how this waitress ruined our experience at one of our favorite restaurants. He said that he was shocked by hearing this but the answer was missing a certain level of understanding. Due to this experience, we'll unfortunately never be returning to this restaurant. It's a shame as this is where we've spent anniversaries and holiday dinners for the past few years.

They saw our mistake, but were happy to seat us right away because it wasn't busy. Tried each of the Dine-out Vancouver options. Each was delicious. I’ve been here twice for meetings in the two different private rooms and they are both different but intimate and professional with excellent A/V resources. The main dining room has clean lines and a modern feel. The quality of the food is very high and this combined with exceptional service and a great room what’s this place very high up on the list of places to dine in Vancouver.

I would never go back here. The food was good, you should not employ wait staff who just touch the customers though. I was out for a meal with co-workers so I chose not to make a fuss, but having your burly waiter stand behind you and hold onto your shoulders with two hands for the duration of an entire conversation is uncomfortable to say the least. I never once gave any indication that I was ok with this or inviting it, it was extremely unpleasant and I felt disrespected by the waiter. Very disgusting feeling, not sure if he was being sexual, aggressive or just completely tone-deaf to normal human interactions.

It's a good place for lunch (biz) or evening meal. I've been there 4 times. Service was good 3 times, a little lacking once. Food good and consistent. More or an upmarket atmosphere. Will I go again, yes. Would I recommend, yes. But, the really really sad part..... They can do better, and I really want that in Vancouver. I was hoping it would be the replacement for long gone the Cafe du Paris, once located on Denman at Alberni. Suggest the owners / GM visit Kelowna's 'Bouchoen' run by the prior owner operators of Cafe du Paris and see what I mean. Would save me going to Kelowna when I wanted the best french pepper chicken & pomme frites on planet earth.

Sound does boom around the room tho, so there's a lot of ear cupping when it's busy Brunch menu a little limited and on the bland side. Chicken n waffles pretty good.espresso isn't great. Think hotel bar not barista. With a little tweak this could be a great spot.

Atmosphere was great with music, comfortable seats, and nice staff. My only reason for not giving >3 stars is unfortunately the most important part of eating at a restaurant, the food. It would be wrong for me to say the food was bad, rather I should say that it was heavily over-seasoned. I had the Boar and Beef Ragout which had striking resemblance and taste to hamburger helper. The saving grace of Tableau for me was the dish another guest had that I tried. The Duck was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Maybe I just had a bad dish that night because another guest at our table was also not thrilled with the Ragout. All in all, a nice restaurant for date night or even just drinks and dinner after a long day at work.

The location is ideal - right in the middle of downtown Vancouver. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, very clean, neutral colors and a bright. The servers are attentive and knowledgeable on the menu and dietary restrictions. The tuna tartare was delicious - one of the best I've had in the city. The salmon was also great. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The desserts definitely stole the show! The chocolate mousse and the macarons made me fall in love with this place. I would order dozens of these macarons if I could.... and I just might! Overall, wonderful experience and would definitely come back here again. Hopefully for brunch next time!

They offered us options without telling us that they were significantly more money, and when we questioned the bill the manager told us we should have known, accused us of lying about not knowing and refused to take off the charges. There is a lot of construction going on outside at the moment so the restaurant is hard to find but don't let this deter you from coming here. The restaurant is beautiful, reminiscent of nicer restaurants in Enland or the east coast. The service is very professional and something I have missed from living in larger cities. Had a dish with mussels in it - one of which was quite fishy and raw. When I told the waitress about it, she very rudely and dismissively said the shell was open so it must have been cooked properly. Positive experience and great service! We especially enjoyed the piano music that helps with blocking out some of the background noise as it is a small place and some of the tables are very close together. Between my wife an I we shared a bottle of nice wine plus ordered some appetizers along with our main course meals. I will most definitely recommend anyone of their pastas or salads! Overall, the food was delicious, but a little on the expensive side compared to other restaurants in the area. I would definitely go back but I would go on Monday or Tuesday when pasta is half price.

It's a really fun, casual environment, with great food, all while getting fine dining service. Had the bone marrow followed by a cognac luge(super fun) and the mussles were delish! Every time I come here, I get the steak. It's always cooked to prefectly (I like my steak blue). I would like to see another option for the side salad, however. It's usually busy at lunch during the week, but if you show up before noon, you don't need to make a reservation. It's not too loud by the front windows, but it gets a little loud in the back. Try their French onion soup!

Awesome experience. Came with a group for work on Saturday night. It was the first time in my life that I was ever offered still or sparkling water, our waitress was amazing and had the cutest accent. We got the cheese and meat board to start and I enjoyed trying different things. They do lack on crackers though. For my entrée I got the New York steak frites. The steak was bomb and cooked perfectly. The fries were served with a garlic aioli and were the best fries I have ever had in my life. Everyone agreed! I wish the steak came with a different salad as I am not big on arugula but it was delicious. The desserts were to die for and drinks were flowing. Thanks for the great time!

Food is great, our favourite are the duck, burger????, onion soup???? and bone marrow with tartare - LOVE the tartare ????- this place makes the best tartare in town. For the foodies out there, a minor thing to note is that the bœuf bourguignon was very nice, especially the sauce, but the meat wasn’t fork tender and had a bit of gristle. For brunch, we had croissants and croque madame, the CROISSANT ???? ????was out of this world. Croque madame ????was also very nice, it comes with a fried egg????, I’ll be asking for a soft poached egg next time and the mornay sauce ????was on the thick side (or maybe not hot enough??). They use super high quality ham. Don’t get me wrong, just being super picky for the foodies out there, we’re definitely coming here again!

Food was great but disappointed with lack of interest or attention to special occasions. On arrival I mentioned to the host that we are celebrating 2 birthdays in our group of 6. Two brothers (my sons). Not even a candle after spending more than $500 for dinner. You can do better.

A fantastic French experience in the Loden Hotel. This restaurant sets a quaint tone that whisks you to a place in modern day France rather than realize you ate still in Vancouver. The cuisine reads simple and the dishes are well balanced and meant for sharing as you will have a tough time choosing between the appies and mains. Highly recommend this restaurant for any meal period. The service is attentive and even a three hour dinner seems like minutes when you immerse yourself in both the social and epicurean ambience.
