Great place for their stone oven pizza. They have a good amount of toppings. They offer other entrees on their menu like pasta. They have 3 levels that overlook the main floor and street views. This is a neat semi-upscale 2-level pizza/Italian restaurant, with a full bar. The space is best described as classy. It's adjacent to the Scotiabank Theatre, and a convenient pre- or post-movie meal. The pizza itself was good, but it didn't wow me for the price. Fresh parmesan cheese is a nice touch, as is proper chili oil to add some spice. The pear martini was on point, highly recommended.

We used to come here for work celebrations and they were so accommodating for large parties! Sad to see how quiet it’s gotten here.. they have a large selection of Italian dishes. They’re food is good however they specialize in their pizzas! Yum!

Best thin crust pizza in downtown by my standards. Always cooked nicely, never burnt (I'm not a fan of charred crust). Toppings always seem fresh. I enjoy the lunch combo in which you can get a personal pizza with a salad or soup to start, great price for what you get. Nice selection of wines as well. Service is quick and attentive whether you are just in and out for lunch or are lingering over drinks and dinner.

I ordered and paid for a pizza with NO GARLIC. What did I get, after my husband picked it up, was a pizza laced with garlic. Hours later my husband said that I had a "toilet mouth ", because of the smell. My stomach was not good. Yes, they gave us a refund..I am left with a stank mouth, upset stomach, and a negative experience. To the chef, pay attention to your orders. ALLERGIES can kill!

Their pizza is always a hit and I love that they have pitchers of Leffe! It's my fav Belgian beer and not many places offer it. It's always our go to for a causal date night out or before/after a movie. Staff is always so ncie too. Highly recommend it.

I walked in for an impromptu date yesterday night around 7:30 and had high hopes. The space is beautiful, the hostess was prompt in seating us and gave us a couple options for tables which I appreciated, and I found the ambiance pleasant. It started going downhill slowly from there. Half of the beers on tap were unavailable, which is disappointing and unexpected for a Friday night service. Our server was polite and friendly, but training seems to be lacking at this restaurant. When my wine arrived in a sidecar, it wasn't poured, which seems very casual for the impression I got of the restaurant. Side plates didn't match, paper napkins are underwhelming, the charcuterie, when run to our table, was not explained to us - we had next to no idea what we were eating. Other odd choices in the food confused us - antipasto with undressed greens? Chopped parsley sprinkled on olives as a sad garnish? A pile of what seemed like cheese curds? Very poorly plated and poorly conceptualized. We were never quality checked and didn't bother finishing the antipasto. The washroom on the mezzanine was out of toilet paper and the paper towel dispenser didn't work. A dirty towel, a spray bottle and a serving tray were left just lying on the banister as you come downstairs, which looks sloppy (and caused me to walk into it, which was not fun haha) There were some bright spots - the mussels were delicious and the bread was also quite good. All in all, lots of potential, poor execution. I think training at this location is suffering and the manager presence is probably next to none. Until it improves, I'll just go to Italian Kitchen right away next time.

This was a bad experience !! Our prawn and scallop salad was raw like really raw!! We sent it back it came back the same.The wine was way to expensive . The service was very slow. we were in a large group that had been reserved for weeks . They advertise that they can handle large groups they obviously can't . we waited over 30 min for our bill after we asked for it. we almost walked out. The pizza was half decent but not worth 18$$ for the size. won't return to this place very disappointing.

Perfect restaurant if you want a nice plate of FOOD POISONING. My boyfriend and I each ordered the spaghetti carbonara and guess what? Both got food poisoning for the next two days. It’s splendid when you need to throw up after a 12 hour shift, exactly what I needed. On the bright side, puking everything I ate led to a rock hard 4 pack. So thanks for that.

Good selection of pizzas and pasta. Really nice place to share some delicious food with friends/family. While not cheap, the food is great and the servings are good sizes. A large pizza (~$30 for some) can be shared between 2-3 people depending on appetite and sides, and can be done with half-and-half toppings.

The good reviews set us up for disappointment. The clam chowder was watery and over spiced and resembled anything but a creamy clam chowder. The gnocchi was undercooked and heavy. The sauce tasted like the clam chowder and the pizza was dry and overcooked. Server was lovely though.

Seriously the worst service I have ever experienced, and as a former server, manager etc in the service industry for many years. My wife and I were completely offended by the tall skinny pony tailed bartender who completely ignored us, while serving a couple who came in after us, didn’t even look at us. Will never recommend. I feel bad for the manager who was very kind. But more so any customer who remotely looks younger than 45. Apparently 20 somethings have no money and won’t tip as much is the only thing other than racism I can think of. Appalling, had to go to Earls where the server will get an ample tip. The service there was consistent, excellent as always. I will also note that the kind Manager did offer to comp our meal, but the experience just ruined the ambiance.

This place has one of the best pizza's you can find in this city and the service is great, when I get there one of the server's knows my usual drink (grey goose on the rocks with a lemon twist on top) even though I've only been here a few times ????.

We are visiting from out of province. First night we came upon this restaurant and stopped in for dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Since then we have been back a total 3 more times. Our 4th visit was disappointing.The server was inattentive. We receive our appetizer after the entree was delivered. We observed other customers getting service much faster and this was with the same server as we had. Based on other reviews we believe this restaurant's issue is inconsistent service. The food is excellent.

Oh my, where to begin with my utterly fantastic experience this evening at Pacifico. So, I’ve been to Pacifico before and have always enjoyed myself. Food, ambiance and service have always exceeded expectations. But, this evening took it to the next level I felt compelled to post a review. Firstly, I was greeted by such a charismatic and endearing host team that offered a warm welcome and made me feel very comfortable. I was sat in the mezzanine (which is such a fabulous area) and was taken care of by Alyson, who is such a charming professional. She was attentive, thorough and engaging. My partner arrived a bit later and we ordered beverages, which arrived promptly. We then ordered food shortly after. We were so engrossed with each other and our grand time at Pacifico, that when our food arrived, we didn’t think twice about if it had not been a long time because we were sipping our drinks and generally enjoying how great everything was. The truly positive testament to how things are conducted at Pacifico is that because they had noticed that our food maybe took a little longer, they immediately took care of a round of drinks. That is such a brilliant gesture that was not unnoticed and will never be forgotten. We left Pacifico with such smile because of the entire team’s conduct. I highly recommend you check out Pacifico as the food is top notch and the service is phenomenal. Keep up the great work!

UPDATE TO REVIEW BELOW: It has now been a month since I’ve written my review. I have taken all the steps necessary in order to get my refund which I never received. Very disappointing. Horrible service. Called to place an order for delivery at 6:30 pm did not receive my food until 7:50 pm (the restaurant is a 5 minute drive from where I live). Needless to say my food arrived cold. The calzone was mediocre, I’ve had better pizza from the frozen isle purchased at my local grocery store.

Always loved and enjoyed having an Italian pizza after a movie at this resturant but a renovation and better Ventilation is very necessary. You can see the smoke and all the discoloured and black area in the ceiling and walls. Staff used to be much more friendlier and helpful but in my last visit i was really disappointed!

Man... pizza was okay, but our server just didn't want anything to do with us. I get it, everyone has a bad day, maybe you see a family with a young kid and all you can think about is spills. Pizza was excellent and spinach salad was superb, although somewhat small for the price. The pepper olive oil was the topper. Bartender even hand chilled the Stella Chalices before pouring the beer. We had a licorice liquor, suggested by the bartender to consummate the dining experience. Very cool place and even cooler bartender.

I am a PizzaExpert on YT and did a video review of this pizza. First, how impressed I was with pizza cooked by open (gas) fire and not have it charred... AMAZING! Keep it up! Second, the CHUNKS of cheese that went on the pizza were very odd when I saw it being made. That being said, the pizza as a whole was done well and has great balance. Everything was just a bit off here. Servers were friendly enough but maitre'd was checked out. Pizza was iffy. It's supposed to be Neapolitan style but they overdo the toppings and use the wrong cheese/sauce. The crust lacked leopard shooting and didn't have enough lift and the body dissolved under the ocean of sauce they drowned it in. It all would have worked better with a thicker NY style crust but that's not as fashionable right now. Be warned that the medium pizza is quite large for a normal sized human. Seared scallops with salad was exactly two small (not seared) scallops and a LOT of tough squid bits. The salad was overdressed and underseasoned.

I’m really not sure what to say ... I’m a little bit disappointed. I used to come to this restaurant for lunch. Pizza, soup and salad. It used to be delicious. This was my first time ordering take out and dining here during the pandemic and ... I’m being generous with 3 stars because it was still edible thankfully, there was some flavour... but I am not sure I would order here again. The carbonara - egg curdled and they used the worst cuts of the pancetta (or bacon). Pizza arrived cold but it was still not bad. I would say overall not bad, but this place either went downhill since the pandemic or their take out doesn’t work and you just need to dine in. I would improve the carbonara recipe - it was not very good. The bell peppers in the pasta and curdled eggs ruined it. Caprese salad was - your ordinary caprese salad. It looked and tasted fresh upon arrival.

Hands down the best place to find quality authentic Italian food, especially for the chicken lovers, who need to have chicken on their pizza and pasta! I used to work here 10 years ago, the food is still as delicious as it was when I served it. Great place to go for dinner and a movie with Cineplex in the same building. And perfect spot for a cheap but quality lunch deal (pizza and salad or pasta and salad/soup) I think this is the best Italian spot for well priced dishes with generous portions and the most variety in a menu I’ve seen. Always a go-to. Faves are the pollo rustica pizza, chicken farfalle pasta, spicy meatballs, baked chicken canalloni, and giardino and Caesar salads.

I personally don’t like to write bad reviews but a few days ago I ordered a lasagna that costs $26 because the menu says that the “portion is very generous”, and I got this little piece that was barely enough for me. And on top of that I wrote a note requesting for the sauce not to be spicy and the food was quite spicy I emailed them the second I received my order, and they never responded with an apology. Disappointed!

Came here while in Vancouver for the week on the recommendation of a colleague. Ordered the Vesuvio pizza and the arugula/prosciutto pizza to share with the table. All of my colleagues agreed and were happy with their meals. They were both so good—flavourful, fresh and the right amount of toppings! Service was mediocre—that is why I’m giving this a 4 star, otherwise would have been 5.

Having a wood-burning oven would have improved the flavour and authenticity. Make no mistake: Pacifico's oven burns gas... it just LOOKS like a wood-fired oven. That said, we were looking for fresh Neapolitan pizza, and Pacifico hit the spot. Eating the crust was like eating fresh bread, though the outside was quite oily and therefore crunchy, where it should have been crispy. Our caprese salad was fresh and delicious, though the server took away our plate with most of the precious balsamic reduction still on the plate... we very much would have enjoyed some focaccia to soak up the lingering balsamic. Next time. Overall, a good dining experience!

This was a very big place and have a huge selection of pizzas and pastas. We needed reservations to get in and table was ready for us when we got there. Quick service and hospitable servers. We walked here from our hotel. We were seated right away and our server was quick to get our drink order. We placed our order and the salad came out timely. apparently our server misheard our sons order as they had ordered a calzone to split and he brought a pizza. They rectified this mistake and the calzone was brought out in a timely manner and was large. All dishes were very tasty and seasoned just right.

Tasty pizzeria with a wide variety of pizzas and pastas to choose from. We got one 10’ margherita pizzas and two 12’ prosciutto and arugula pizzas, which was more than enough for our party of 3. Crusts were perfect, although the margherita pizza had too much cheese for my liking. This location also has excellent customer service. A member of my party has a severe food allergy and the wait staff were very attentive and made us feel comfortable eating at this restaurant.

Wow, terrible/expensive is all I can really say. Ordered a margarita pizza and bruschetta. The pizza was made with very cheap cheese that left large pools of grease on top of the pizza. The sauce was another missed opportunity due to the fact it was thin, dry, and tasteless. The spicing of the pizza was unfortunately minimal. Five tiny (and I mean tiny!) basil leaves in the middle of the pizza were the only source of flavor. The bruschetta was made from unripe tomatoes, cheap olive oil, and generic bread. Bland brucshetta is so sad because a ripe tomato in the middle of summer with basil and olive oil is a wonderful treat. On the upswing, I will say the crust was very well done and the service was really quite good. I might eat at this place again.......if it was free.

After hearing some of the rave reviews for Pacifico and their pizzas, I thought I’d stop by for a nice pizza dinner to see what all of the hubbub was about. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed to say that the pizza was extremely average, especially for the price. I ordered one pizza, half Vesuvio and half Margherita. The Vesuvio was too busy with a ton of toppings and the sausage used on the pizza was mediocre. The Margherita was definitely better, but suffered from having too much cheese. The crust itself was nice enough, although slightly undercooked. 3/5.

The best of ingredients and crust that will rival anyones. Great selection of beers too. Since being there last here is another review and although I enjoyed my pizza it was a calzone I ordered and unless your guests are going to order pizzza/calzone or pasta it’s not an ideal place to dine. One guest ordered a grilled chicken breast with a Caesar. The other had pasta which she reported was nothing special. So four drinks two meals the bill was 120.00. That and I ordered a Boddingtons which they were out of. My rating has dropped so until the next time !

I really love this place! every pizza I've ever had from Pacifico has been excellent, I haven't tried them all yet but everything from the classic pepperoni to some of the "fancier" pizzas that I've tried have all been extremely tasty. I see some of the reviewers giving one star reviews because of the clam chowder, and to that I say maybe don't go to a pizza place if you want great clam chowder... but also I have a very hard time believing that anything from pacifico would be worthy of a 1 star review, as everything I've ever had at pacifico including pasta has been of a very high bar. Seems obvious to me you should get pizza when trying to judge a pizza place, but perhaps this isn't so obvious to the average "local guide." I would recommend talking with your server if you have any complaints as this is certainly a business which aims to please the customer, and I'm certain that any reasonable complaints would be handled with grace. I'm also convinced that the chances of you having complaints are extremely low, this place really is fantastic

We came in a group and the service was terrible. This might be due to the fact that gratuity is included automatically in a group. It took about 40mins to get drinks, then 1.5h later food came, then 40mins later we managed to get the bill. We had reservations for 7pm and we didnt leave till midnight we waited so much. The pasta was sad, canned sauce and spagetti. Pizza had a dry thin crust and odd topings on top that were flavorless. The tiramisu cake was good. Also the place was hot it was about 40c where we sat on top. I will never return and I live a block away.

A great little Italian joint in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The place offers decent food but the price at which it is offered is hard to believe. There are not too many places in downtown offering at a similar price. The ambiance is amazing. I wish the service was slightly better. Staff is friendly and helpful, Food is good, portions are large. Prices are really high. The calzone is a monster it's great for those with a big appetite, lasagna is good. Spaghetti is good they use a sweeter type of sauce. Pizzas are thin and crispy.

Decent pizza but overpriced for what you get. Tried 2 mediums: the Hawaiian and the Arugula + Prosciutto. Not what you'd expect at $22 each.

Had a late lunch at the Davie St. location and the food was amazing and the lunch combos were fantastic value. Really great experience and delicious pizza and pasta combos. Best Privavera ever!

MUST VISIT. Amazing pizza and amazing service. Staff is great and friendly. 11/10 will come back again. A good place to come in and dine, very cozy and the pizza is amazing! Wish this location was in Toronto where I'm from, locals are lucky to have it in Vancouver.

Food was solid. The servers were nice. Two stars because of the outrageously long wait time for food. We came here an hour after the Santa Claus parade ended and the restaurant was only half full. It took over an hour to get pizza and bread.

AMAZING LASAGNA! The lasagna here is AMAZING and I absolutely would recommend it. (I recommend it be shared unless you want to feel stuffed (which I did)) Good service, very cosy and fresh-made pizzas.

I'm visiting Vancouver and this place piqued my interest. I'm a fan of stone baked pizza and this place was everything I could have imagined. The Spicy Meatballs were soft and spicy and the tomato sauce was great. The pizza was absolutely perfectly cooked, thin and crispy with the perfect amount of toppings. Being from a small town with not a lot of selection, I feel like my mouth just had sex after leaving a stagnant dead relationship.

Have been coming here for years and was very disappointed today. Prices have gone up a lot with prices increasing around 25%. Most disappointing was calamari, prices went up and portion is less than half from what it used to be. Not worth the price any more and won't be coming back.

First thing they told us when we walked through the door was that "their kitchen wasn't working, and that we can only order "pizzas" we left to walk around and think about it. We eventually just decided to go back and have pizza, upon arrival they told us the kitchen was now "working." Great! I went there thinking the atmosphere was mellow quiet and "romantic" per say, but it was really loud and not very relaxing.. Anyway, My husband wanted to order some beer, and the two kinds he asked for were out.. -_- we then asked our waitress if we can have the prosciutto with burrata, she said she " wasnt sure if they had it" turns out they didnt, when we paid we gave her the exact amount with cents and she STILL MANAGED to be short $1 basically service inst that great, and they do not have a lot of their menu available, which kinda sucks But overall the food was amazing though very delicious that was for sure 5 stars, i ordered lasagna, pizza, and a mushroom soup with my husband

Ordered a pizza and a giant bug was baked into the pizza. Absolutely gross. Called to complain and they never called back. Avoid!!!!!
