Cheap and good sushi
I ordered a take-out from Monato Sushi during the Covid-19 phase I pandemic to support local business. I went for one Vegeterian Bento box. There was so much food! I usually don't have problem eating all my plate but on this occasion I had to save leftovers for the following day! It was also delicious. For me it was easy to pick up as I live close-by, and I'd agree with a previous review that they take maybe 5 more minutes than the allocated time slot but that is not a problem - i.e. there were two "delivery apps" around the same time so it got busy. I'll definitely order again! Thank you for continuing the hard work.
I did uber pick up... and disappointed
Always good food and good service
The absolute worst sushi place ive ever had in my entire life, the sashimi was warm, extremely chewy and gross. the sushi rolls were dusty and just bad. spent 60$ on a variety of things, picked at a bit of each and threw it out.
Nothing special about the food. Service is good.
Great food & excellent service. Best value!
First time customer. I ordered wild salmon rolls, I asked twice if they had wild salmon, they said yes. I paid for my order (take-out), they charged me for wild salmon. Got home, my rolls were made with FARMED salmon. SO DISAPPOINTING. I will not go back here.
It was great and reasonably priced.
Yep, reccomend
Service is friendly, however, I found it to be pricy for the portion you get. I ordered a Chirashi, received thin slices of sashimi. Wasn't very filling.
Sushi was okay, I think I've had better, and I'm not a Sushi expert whatsoever. They have limited vegetarian/vegan options, which are not marked as so in their menus. I know, Sushi is not supposed to be vegan but... Good service.
Great value. Fast service.
Quality went down after the Japanese owners sold it to a Chinese family. The sushi was horrible and the new location is small and filthy. Avoid it like the plague!
Dinner
Waited forever
Hidden Sushi Stop I came by with a good friend for dinner. Since my favorite Japanese restaurant Kiso River closed several months ago. I've been on the lookout for a new replacement place. We decided to try a selection of items to test their kitchen. We ordered the Golden sushi roll, prawn tempura appetizer, gyoza, the tofu teriyaki steak and the salmon tempura teri bowl. According to my girl friend, the golden roll was good. I thought the gyoza was only average, it seemed to filled more with veg than meat so the texture was very loose and had a cabbage aroma.tge prawn tempura was excellent tender and very predictable. My salmon tempura teri bowl was overwhelmed by too much salty teryaki sauce! The salmon was in several scrap size pieces each in their own tempura batter. I was expecting the salmon to be a single piece but I guess these little pieces were the remains left over from making sushi. Not what I was expecting.I was expecting there to be egg in this bowl too since it was listed under the Don Buri section but it was not to be. This rice bowl was accompanied by a miso soup though. My mouth felt so salted out that I had to drink numerous cups of tea to cleanse my palate. Service was efficient. The place was quiet since we arrived after the dinner rush. Small area for seating arrangements divided between booths and tables. Well lit overall. Bus stop is conveniently right outside the door. Might return with my family to try their other dishes like their Bento boxes in the hopes that these dishes will turn out better.
I always come here when I'm craving sushi at work. Very decent prices and food always comes fresh, no complaints. The space is kind of small so there's usually a wait around lunch time
It’s unbelievableeee how this business is still open... it takes forever to the food get ready. I ordered to take out and My food was ready (she said that was ready and showed me the boxes on the table) and she told me that she needed only to pack it up and take almost 20 (yes 20) minutes only to PACK IT UP inside the plastic bag. Omg I will never ever order here again
When eating at a place like Minato, your expectations should be tempered to begin with. This is a relatively small sushi joint that specializes in cheap, convenient dishes. You're not going to get the same quality as somewhere like Miku or Tojo's, but if that's what you were looking for, you're looking in the wrong place. Minato is a budget sushi place through and through, but they excel at occupying that specific niche. The advantage Minato has over others is its value proposition. Regular rolls like California or spicy tuna are dirt cheap, and even the specialty rolls rarely breach the $15 range that so many other restaurants fall into the trap of. Their $48 sushi platter's been a reliable way for feeding groups larger than advertised on the menu, and the combos, while somewhat unusual in their lineups, do show solid value as well. None of this would matter if Minato ultimately cut corners in quality, which thankfully, they don't. BC rolls, which are so often soggy and rubbery at other budget places are crispy and smoky as they should be here. Even fattier cuts of fish like the Toro used in some rolls don't taste fishy, another common pitfall of budget restaurants. If I had to level two recurring criticisms of Minato, it'd be that, 1. Despite the sushi tasting good, the construction leaves some room to be desired. Rolls feel loosely put together and can sometimes fall apart. 2. Projected ordering times given by delivery apps or on the phone are not always accurate, especially on busy days. It's not uncommon to see aggravated Uber eats drivers waiting around longer than they expected to in front of the door. Aside from those two caveats, Minato's consistently delivered in quality and value for me, and as a broke student, I can appreciate that they make for a welcome, but affordable treat every once in a while.
When it comes to delicious sushi on a budget you cannot beat Minato
Price was good. Good value, smallish restaurant, quite busy. Staff was attentive
this sushi joint is amazingly affordable for thequality - highly recommend !
The food is tasty but the ambience is poor (Justin Bieber playing constantly). Worst part of our "linner" was our server. No smile. No personality and more interested in who she was texting to the point that one female customer walked out. We would have too if we didnt already have a portion of our meal. I am guessing that this girl is the owner's daughter as she looked miserable to work there. Its unfortunate they have her working there because the food was good. Please hire a friendly professional individual that makes one feel welocme and not one that makes u feel like u are disturbing her social life by asking for our tea to be replenished.
Very good sushi for the inexpensive price you pay. Great place for a quick bite. However, you'll want to get there early for the lunch time rush since the space is relatively small.
It's fine. Above standard sushi for Vancouver. Outstanding for the rest of the world. Good lunch spot if you work nearby. If you don't, keep on moving the ocean is just a few steps away to get the best...
Good value and friendly service. Tasty food too.
Service
The first time I went to Minato was when I was 10 days old. My favourite sushi restaurant of all time. It has really good sushi, they only use fresh food in their dishes, and they’re bento boxes, udon, yakisoba, and sashimi are all incredible! In fact, I love all their foods. Tourists, if ur looking to get some quality sushi, just head straight to Minato!
Arrived at noon on a crazy, rainy day. They were packed. But they made a space for me and got me my meal lightning fast. And it was so yummy!
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order food here. Long day, super hungry, I live down the street. Ordered delivery and it took an hour. This is the veggie teriyaki, dynamite roll and a California roll. Avo was practically non existent, tempura SO soggy, and the “veggies” were basically just a pile of hot cabbage.
Terrible service. Completely horrible. Rude, shyty food, dirty place. Hated it. Right next to 7-11 on Oak and Broadway
For the price, it isn't bad at all. We ordered take out and the portion size was quite good. Too bad, the tempura was already soggy by the time we ate it, would've been better to eat it at the restaurant if no covid. Ordered the Box 2 Bento with Chicken. The chicken wasn't the greatest either, but their sashimi and roll were quite good.
I've been a loyal customer in the neighborhood for a decade now. This is much better than just your "average sushi place"
Service is good but food is okay.
Nice enough place but terrible vegetarian options
Worst sushi ever!
holy this place is bad, it’s like they were on a mission to make the worst sushi possible. imagine pale, stringy sashimi, soggy tempura, a few tough pieces of beef teriyaki on like a pound of rice, next to no fillings in the dynamite roll aside from rice and tempura batter, which is again soggy.. please, please read this first and learn from my mistake, don’t eat here.
Minato Japanese restaurant has wonderful sushi. I am a fan of the simple decor. Functional delivery of wonderful food at reasonable prices makes Minato one of the best places on Broadway to grab a quick sushi lunch.
Awsome experience
Decent prices! Ordered on DoorDash and the beef teriyaki donnuri was sooooo good!! The Cali roll was a lil dry but I ordered late at night so ????????♀️ not sure.. but overall I was happy
Good sushi - especially the dine in special.
I stumbled upon this place as I was visiting the hospital and the location is so convenient for me. The staff were very kind and attentive and seated me and my friend right away. I loved their special, Minato Sushi, a deep fried roll with avocado, radish and tempura bits with special sauce drizzled on top. Absolutely delicious! I would recommend checking out this place for a nice quick visit.
Exactly what you would expect from a sushi restaurant in Vancouver. Reasonably priced and free delivery. Limited seating, so there could be a wait during peak hours.
Been coming here for many years -- great value and the food is pretty consistent.
Had a sick stomach after spicy combo
Good cheap lunch spot near VGH.
Service
Great Japanese and very reasonable prices
Great Japanese food. The sushi is always fresh and the portions are great. Prices are very reasonable.
One of my favorite Japanese restaurants due to that the sashimi they serve is tastes very fresh.
The presentation of the sushi was not right. It seems that they didn't have a sharp knife to cut into the fish. Fish looks like it was torn apart. Fish was sloppily put together. The tuna in the tuna maki was not centered properly. The seaweed around the ebi wasn't completely wrapped. It was falling off. The Tai was rubbery and fishy. o
I smelled like a Tempura after lunch
I love this place. Very friendly staff. Food is decent, especially for the price. Their 3 items for 10.99 deal is incredible.
Got charged 9.66 for a salmon advocado and nigotoro maki. Outside on the poster it says nigotoro is 3.25 so I got charged 6.41 for a salmon and advocado roll which was only 6 pieces and mostly rice as the same with the nigotoro. 20 seconds after I place the order I ask to change it to the 3 items for 10.99 because I would get another roll for 1.80 but the girl said no. I can safely say I completely feel ripped off.
Good food, great service
Good value. Good food. Very friendly staff.
(Translated) Golden Roll is the best! Everything is super fresh. Really delicious, all things are fresh! (Original) Golden Roll is the best! Everything is super fresh. 真的好吃,所有的東西都很新鮮!
When it comes to delicious sushi on a budget you cannot beat Minato
Love it. Have visited there many times. The foods taste good and fresh. And the price is not expensive. Waitresses (waiters) are nice. Whatever, it is a nice restaurant and is worthy of trying.
Good sushi, big portion, and okay pricing. What more can you want from a sushi joint? Service was pretty good all times I went
(Translated) Too bad. (Original) Muito ruim.
Deep fried, mushy, rice was dry. Delivery is not recommended.
Came for a quick snack. Great customer service. They’ve been in this location for three years now. But I do remember their original location from the 1980s. Glad they are still around!
Great sushi!
Great sushi and cocktail list. Work your way through some sake!
Always good food and good service
The veggie tempura is amazing!
I don't think the sushi rice is seasoned, tastes like regular rice. Otherwise, I think it's okay quality sushi for the price - got it 50% off on a delivery app.
Best bento boxes west of cambie
This place is a neighborhood gem. They relocated last year and are in a new location right by the bus stop on Broadway at Oak. Always friendly, delicious food and amazing prices. Love their eat-in specials. Happy to accommodate gluten allergies too, they even have gluten free soy sauce. Customer for life.
There are better sushi places around the area for the same price.
Friendly, get my order right, fast on take out, great sushi!
(Translated) The sashimi is very large and a lot. The amount of food is too much, and one can't finish it! (Original) 生鱼片很大也很多,定食的量超级多的,一个人吃不完啊!
Been coming here for the last 28 years of my 28 years on this planet. Some of the best sushi and service you can find. Unassuming, surpassing most in Van City. Good cuts, done well, same family owned since the beginning.
It's a solid 'ok' place for a quick bite. As with most high volume and inexpensive sushi places you come for the quick turnaround - you don't come expecting high quality sushi/fresh ingredients or good service.
Good price, good service and good sushi. Definitely worth checking out or ordering take out!
The best spicy yam tempura roll. Also nice cuts if salmon on the nigiri.
WORST SUSHI IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I'd be willing to bet if there was a competition to make the worst sushi possible this place would blow the rest of the world out of the water. I honestly did not think a sushi restaurant could be worse then mall sushi but they did it!
Good value for a nice selection of items
Great place. Reasonable prices. Not fancy enough to get 5 stars.
Our work often gets delivery from Minato. Friendly staff and food is always fresh
Yummy sushi. Love the owners.
Very fast service great lunch
Quality, price and service all on point. Great spot for lunch.
Food was okay and reasonable. I will order again to try their baby shrimp sunomono and chicken karaage
Some of the best sushi in Vancouver. Tasty, low key and fantastic service. Great for lunch or early dinner as the atmosphere is quite laid back. Beer is served really cold, perfect for a hot summer day.
Should've looked at the reviews here before placing an order. I feel super sick now and couldn't get through half of a roll. I stupidly ordered a large order trusting the uber eats reviews. Worse then ayce sushi by far.
Good bang for the buck
Great prices.
Best bang for your buck at lunch.
This my neighborhood sushi place and I love it! They're always so nice and they've been at this location for a very long time. Their veggie box is huge! They often take longer than they say 25 = 30 or more. I recommend you coming down to minato for their hard working employees and yummy food.
Too expensive for such tiny rolls.
Spicy (Sesame)Tuna Roll was gross. Would not order from here again
(Translated) Delights (Original) Delicies
Ordered take out from here yesterday for lunch with a few of my co-workers and all of us were very disappointed. The combo rice dishes were mushy, the rice on the rolls were hard and dry, tasted like it wasnt fully cooked. The sauces and wasabi were so watered down, there was no flavor to any of it. I have done take out from this place multiple times and usually their not bad. But this time around, they were terrible. I'm afraid to go back and try again...
Tuna sashimi had bones still intact. Sushi rolls were big (take out experience).
Very friendly staff and owners. Good sushi. Nice selection. Reasonable price. Happy restaurant.
We had a really good experience here. They have really great deals with the bento boxes and their 3-item combo. Our server was very friendly and helpful and the food was served shortly after ordering. Food was pretty good. The only complaint I have is that they only had 2 servers on the floor and as it was during the lunch hour, so it was hard to flag them down to ask for water, the bill, etc. When we would flag one down, they would forget about what we asked for and we would have to flag the other one down to repeat the same thing.
Sub-par sushi, too much rice and tasteless. Never trying it again.
Literally never written a bad review before but I was throwing up all night because of this place.
I ordered the dynamite roll on uber eat.According to the website,it should have such ingredients as follows, prawn tempura, avocado, cucumber and masago, but I am not satisfied with the quality, and food tastes no love. I was so disappointed. I think I won't order again.
The lady was very rude and unprofessional. went there to pick up and she made me to wait outside in the cold for about 35 minutes, when I asked her how long, she got angry and said rudely that it will take time so I asked her how long, she said 10 minutes and after 15 minutes I asked her how long more, so she said we r packing and after that she took another 15 minutes....very unexpected...will never go there ever again
Best bento boxes west of cambie
Good food, good price. They remember people from visit to visit!
The food here is so awful you are compelled to make a review to warn others. Avoid even with any discounts. You're better getting fast food to save you from a sad meal.
Terrible
I’ve had sushi from Minato here and there on and off for a few years now. The fish is rarely fresh, the colour of the fish is dull and and the flavour is beyond bland. The rolls range from $3.50-$12? The portions are tiny and I’ve never been satisfied with a meal from there. The beef teriyaki and salmon rolls look like left over scraps and the tempura is heavy, greasy, and bland!!
the price is cheap, the place looks so ghetto. BUT the food is surprisingly goooooooooooooooood! MUST TRY.
Great deals on delicious and high quality sushi! Lunch specials are killer! I go here at least once a week. Give it a try!
Ordered an Oyakodon (rice bowl) as a take out. Menu mentioned of chicken meat, onion and mushroom. Had way more onions than mushrooms. The mushrooms are white button mushrooms, sliced thinly and there's only 4 pieces of it. Ratio of mushroom to onions is like 15:1.. Chicken meat is fine with the exception that I had a piece that had a small tendon or bone to it, the pricing is cheap, around 9 bucks for a bowl
Great food, wonderful people running the restaurant and the prices are awesome... Good amount of vegetarian options as well
Not going back. So disappointed. Not Japanese run anymore and nothing tasted the way it should have.
Food is alright, hence why it has one star. Staff is beyond rude and arrogant. They have different prices and rules for substitutions every second. Take your business elsewhere - sushi restaurants in Vancouver are a dime in a dozen.
Ordered delivery. Enjoyed the bento box ???? and sushi rolls. Plan to repeat. Thanks Minato Sushi.
First time coming here during my break. Waited 15mins for my food. There were tables filled but they were all served food already so i wouldnt say they were busy. I ordered spicy salmon, spicy chopped scallop and salmon and avocado roll. All the rolls looks like im getting leftover scraps of salmon and scallop. They weren't fresh and some, a little slimy. The scallop roll wasnt that bad compared to the salmon. After eating here i felt nauseous and stomach pain. Wouldnt come back!
Wanted to stay but they made all my food to go, the yam roll was pretty much all rice with a small sliver of avocado and yam. Would not recommend.
The very worst sushi I’ve ever had! Don’t waste your money!
Best reasonable priced sushi
The lunchtime choice of three items for $10 is great. Can get quite busy to get a table though.
Prices are decent quality could definitely be better 1 + is that they're open late
Not expensive, pretty good food for the price. The booths are run down so the back moves when the person behind you moves, which is kind of annoying
The rolls had tons of rice and hardly any filling. The rolls were falling apart, and the sushi rice was very gluey and sour. The BBQ salmon collar with the sauce was very good, but the sushi itself was horrible. If you have option for sushi, maybe try them instead of this place. This place reminded me why I didn't like sushi for a while.
Good quality and amazing prices. C8 is my favorite. They also offer delivery so no need for skip the dishes or similar.
On point service, food, and presenting.
Easily the worst sashimi ive ever had. There were sand particles in the only 1 piece of surf clam in the “mix sashimi combo”; the salmon and tuna pieces were flavorless and tasted old. I sincerely hope no one orders the sashimi ever.
Sashimi was not fresh. Nigiri was bland. Too expensive for what it's worth. The size of the rolls was way too overpriced, except for the House Rolls. The House Rolls were unnecessarily large to the point where it was impossible to eat without breaking apart and could not fit in the soy sauce dish. Whichever chef made the Chef's Recommendation menu should re-evaluate himself. We had to go to McDonalds a few blocks over to wash the taste out.
Kind service with a good deal menu.
I like the sushi from Minato but will never order from them again after two frustrating delivery experiences. 1.5 hours to deliver to me (I'm barely 15 min away) and this time when the delivery guy showed up he told me to just pick it up myself next time!! Why offer delivery service if you don't want to provide the service?!? Never again.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. I wanted sushi, and instead got sick. There are many, many delicious sushi restaurants such as ton ton, and even dream sushi. The food I received through takeout was gross. The fish was clearly of poor quality, and closer to paste than actual cuts of meat. The rolls were nearly indestinguishable from each other, and the California roll wasn't even a California roll. The avacado was bruised, the tuna was paste, and the rice barely clung to the roll. I didn't finish my meal. I won't be returning, since there are better restaurants for slightly more money. I'd gladly pay a premium for a well-made roll.
I ordered from them for the first time because they have 50% sale on the Fantuan delivery app. Firstly, if you check the prices on the app vs their website, the prices are different, so you aren't saving 50% but more like 20%. That's still okay as the prices were still cheaper than ordering from other places. I think this place would probably be good if you dine in, but they don't do take out well. For the box set, they threw in the tempura on top of the chicken teriyaki rice and it was so soggy and soaked with tempura sauce when it got here. Other restaurants usually have the tempura in a small separate box with a hole cut on the box so it doesn't steam. Their chicken teriyaki rice was supposed to be part of the box set and indeed the chicken portion is the right amount, but they put so much rice in it. I'm not complaining because I saved the rice to make other meals. They either forgot to give, or don't give you the ebi sunomono if you do take out. The tuna and sashimi pieces were ok. The salmon didn't have much flavor. The oyako don also had too much rice compared to the stuff on top, but the flavor was good. However, the sushi was not bad. I had a dynamite roll and several negitoro rolls. The negitoro was quite small and only came in 6 pieces as opposed to 8 which other restaurants do. For $2 something, it was still a good deal. The dynamite roll had 1 prawn, and some I think sweet soy sauce soaked tempura bits which turned out soggy. If I were to eat here again, I would only wait for it to be on sale and only order sushi. Anything you can crispy, they would not take care of it well.
Meal type
Ordered box A, then was ignored for 35 minutes as all of the table around me who sat down after me got their food. I had to leave without eating as I had an appointment. The cashier didn't even apologize when I told her they forgot about me and I had to go. I can't say much for the food, but the service was poor to say the least.
I ordered a couple of sushi rolls through Uber eats, the service took too long and I I think it’s overpriced for the quality of the sushi
Sushi was ok, but strangely they use Chinese soy sauce instead of Japanese. Not good for sushi.
Good value. Ordered the Veggie box. Found the portions large and everything quite tasty.
Unfortunately my only experience with the restaurant was take out, but from that I could tell that they have excellent customer service. The wait was quite short in comparison to many places I have been and the food was delicious.
Good value. Good food. Very friendly staff.
Epitome of the neighbour Japanese restaurant. Very convenient. Take out, delivery, counter service or table service. Service can get slow during peak times. But food is great and reasonably priced. It's been a neighbourhood staple for decades and the regulars are a great sign of quality. Not a lot of elbow room and dining room van get quite stinky with the open kitchen in a small space.
In what universe does chicken karaage consist of only three over fried pieces of chicken wings? Wasn't an appetizer item either. Be ware if you order takeout.
Terrible experience! I order a take out and took more 30min than the expected. The staff even said sorry. I don’t recommend at all.
Disappointing Japanese food, one of the worst I have anywhere in the world. Poor sushi made with dried crumbling rice. Not recommended.
Meal type
Worst sushi restaurant in town. The place looks like a dump, the food tasted as bad as it smelled. Will never go back there again. To be avoided! I give one star because I have too, not because I want to!
Dinner
I visit this place very often during my breaks. Even in busy lunch hours, they can still serve me very fast. The lovely young lady is friendly and helpful. She is able to take care of massive jobs at same time. I recommend their tiger roll and dragon roll. Very creative and tasty, worth a try.
Not professional at all. The smell like garbage.
This place used to be my jam. Love the friendly staff but the quality of their food has tanked so bad. I just spent 20 bucks on a tiny rolls filled with extra rice, and it was super gooey and sour tasting. To top it off it wasnt even enough food to fill you up. Love you guys but seriously what happened to your food? Kinda sad but I prefer the sushi you can find at superstore or safeway. :( RIP Minato.
Quality of fish is excellent
Imma too lazy person to leave a review on google but, i had to. I ordered Salmon Sashimi through skip the dishes and some tempura bits came with it, which was disgusting and also, unknown foreign substance on it was found continuously. The worst thing is, it was not the first time. CLOSE THE BUSINESS.
Very very good. Was in Vancouver for the first time and was scared to eat sushi.... Locals told me come here
Dynamite roll is filled with rice inside with almost no avocado. Most restaurant add imitation crab, but I understand they added masago. I could only taste a chunk of rice, which taste terrible. Kings roll is tiny as negitoro roll. Original price was $20. Although I got it with discount from food ordering app, I still feel like being robbed. It has 2 or 3 scallops on each piece. I can probably get 3 4 times of scallops from other restaurants with this price. And it taste terrible too.
Fresh and taste sushi.
I normally come here on my break about 1-2 times a week and normally the service is decent. Today, my server was rude and annoyed - with what, i don’t know. The server threw down my tea, soy sauce dish, and napkin without a word and rushed away. My food finally came out and my drink wasn’t refilled once. At the end of my meal, someone half-heartedly asked if I wanted more tea to which i enthusiastically said yes and still no tea. While I was paying, she asked me if I wanted tea again and I said never mind it’s too late now. I told her about my experience and she said “well maybe it was busy” Okay, wait times are fine but throwing down things onto a table and just being rude to customers is not. And that is almost the worst excuse you could give me for me sharing my experience with you. I guess you get what you pay for. Won’t be coming back here during my breaks anymore.
Great fresh fish in house roll and lava roll is awesome but Suno mono salad is not supposed to have tons of seaweed on top that ruined the flavour for the whole thing. The way they cut the fish and it's quality is much better than most places even places that cost a lot of money.
Haven’t been here in years. In fact since it was on the kitty corner in the 7-11 plaza. I was really quite impressed. The new location is smaller but the staff are the same and it’s been years since I’ve seen them. We did take out and it was ready on time although there was one error in packaging the order so one item missing but it could be because I didn’t want the order repeated. The food: fresh! Delicious! The tuna sashimi was melt in your mouth good. Like really good. The rolls were the perfect ratio of rice to filling. The spicy tuna roll was better than I remember as were the dynamite rolls. Everything we ordered was super tasty. We will be back for sure. One thing: that old “arigato” that used to go off as the door closed is gone. I miss it!
Terrible service. Completely horrible. Rude, shyty food, dirty place. Hated it. Right next to 7-11 on Oak and Broadway
Best Chicken Yaki Soba I've ever had! Noodles were so fresh and good. Eaten here twice now and friendly service, amazing food. Will come back!
WOW, what a disappointment. The tempura was very average with tasteless dip. We also ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki which was, well, just disgusting. The chicken consisted of mostly fat and the beef was dried up thinly shaved on a bed of sprouts. There was NO flavour at all and the textures between chicken fat and dried up beef were a no go - except straight into the garbage. It was also all floating in a watery mess?? Not sauce of any kind but rather a nasty watery mess, yuck. Maybe their sushi is okay but I would never return even if given a complimentary meal. I have never had such badly prepared Japanese food, ever :(
