Another Fairmont masterpiece. The best thing is the ambiance. Other things follow. Good food, strong drinks, nice service. We had the sable fish and the beef. Both juicy and nicely done. Dining by the nice tall windows is always a great experience; just wish it was snowing too! Won’t hesitate to be back!

Went here for the bottomless weekend brunch with friends and we ate about a week's worth of calories in one sitting! Service was outstanding. Would recommend the Ooey Gooey skillet (don't try to eat it by yourself), pork cheek, liege waffle, and short rib poutine. The meats were fork tender and all of the poached eggs that came out of the kitchen were perfectly soft.

Due to the pandemic we had not been back at the ARC for a year. Really pleased to return. Excellent service, very well prepared dishes (taste, texture, temperature) and beautiful Avira and atmosphere. Five stars.

All inclusive brunch.. does it get any better? I'm so full....3 hours later.. the beef cheeks are amazing

Even though it’s All You Can Eat but each dish was delicately prepared in perfect portion. I was able to try everything and nothing was a miss. Would recommend and definitely come again.

Great service and the dining experience was enjoyable overall. We came here for the weekend brunch and for the price and place, it's a pretty good deal. There's a 2 hour seating time limit I think? But we were able to try everything we wanted to. Not every dish was outstanding and I'd definitely avoid the breakfast meats the next time, it's like your sub par contention al breakfast assortment of sausage, ham, and bacon. But there were also a few wide-eye inducing dishes such as the braised pork cheeks, beef short rib poutine, and croque madam (can you tell I like my meats ????). Order your next round of food while you're just past halfway through what you've got on the table, the food takes a bit of time to get to the table. But I'd say it's worth trying. In terms of revisit-ability though, I'm not sure if I'll be coming back anytime for weekend brunch. I think my curiosity's been satiated and there's nothing that wow-ed me enough to want to go back any time soon.

We stayed at its hotel, Fairmont Waterfront, so this restaurant is inside of the hotel and very convenient for us. The service is outstanding from host to wait staff. Their brunch was amazing as well their cocktails. However, I felt a little rush during the brunch because the food came out a little slow and yet we only spent almost an hour there but was told they will need a table in 10 mins. Other than that, everything was great and attentive.

Had a spectacular anniversary dinner at ARC. Service was great and food was flawless. Staff was very friendly!

My friends and I went there for the weekend brunch after seeing so many Tik-Toks about it. Overall, it was really disappointing. The food was very underwhelming and significantly lacked flavour. It seemed like the majority of the 'hype' surrounded the presentation and the 'all-you-can-eat' aspect of it. As for service, it felt very casual. Our servers barely spent time at the table, and did not seem passionate about the food they were serving. For about 50CAD, I would not recommend the Weekend Brunch. Sure, the food itself is worth that amount, but the whole experience was definitely not. For those who want to know more, here's a more detailed review of every food item we tried (which was almost everything) in descending order: - Buttermilk Biscuits (9/10): These, along with the Ooey Gooey Skillet were the highlight of the whole brunch. They were great and the honey butter that comes with them was delicious - Ooey Gooey Skillet (9/10): This was honestly really tasty! The croissant was crunchy, and the dish had a great flavour similar to a cinnamon roll. - Salmon Benedict (8/10): Good quality salmon, tasty hollandaise sauce, and a nice buttery english muffin. This was my favorite savoury item. - Beef Shortrib Poutine (7/10): This was also one of the better dishes. The flavour was nice and smoky; however, the fries were soaked in the gravy which made them soggy towards the bottom of the bowl. - Croque Madame (7/10): This was the last thing we got, so I was a bit too full to really have more than a bite. Overall, it tasted nice. The cheese and ham were good, and the bread was toasted/grilled nicely. - Jerk Fried Chicken (6/10): This was okay. The chicken was slightly on the dry side, but the flavour was definitely there. The funnel cake was nice and soft, but the 'habanero' maple syrup did not taste at all like habanero. - BC Berry Basket Smoothie (6/10): Basic and bland - nothing special. - Liege Waffle (5/10): I have had much, much, better waffles than this liege waffle. The waffle itself was okay, but the chai tea 'sauce anglaise' was very thin and felt like we poured an actual chai tea latte over the waffle. This made it very soggy. - Meat & Potatoes (4/10): Potatoes were okay, but lacked seasoning. The sausage was tasty but that was about it. The bacon and ham did not have any seasoning or sauce, so the taste is based on preference. There were also about 5 caramelized onion 'strands' - basically, they weren't even there. - Granola Parfait (4/10): Basic as well, and significantly lacked flavour. - Avocado Toast (2/10) (Note we got the scrambled tofu): This was actually horrible. The mashed avocado did not have a hint of seasoning, and that could not be carried by the scrambled tofu. This was extremely bland! - Harvest Grain Bowl (1/10): OMG! This was absolutely horrible. All the veggies were dry and bland. This had 0 flavor.

When good food, ambience, and service comes tied up together. I would highly recommend this place, for special occasions. We did the dine out 2018...and we were surprised with the quality and thought that was put in the dishes (definitely one of the few great dine out experiences we've had).

Amazing service. Food tasted awesome. Affordable pricing. Definitely recommend. Will come back soon!

It was fine. Cocktails use their rooftop garden herbs/honey but were just fine. A bit pricy for the quality of liquor used. Food same. No complaints but nothing to write home about. Exception was the chocolate fondue. Good variety and good value dessert for the table.

By far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Canada. My family and I went in for their all-inclusive breakfast and everything went smoothly at first until we ordered our food. What they don’t tell you is that they limit 2 food orders per person per order. The time interval between when you place the order and when you get the food, you could’ve jogged around Stanley Park and still wouldn’t get the food. I’m still here at the restaurant while typing this waiting for my food. My advice? Go somewhere else for breakfast. The food they offer isn’t worth the price they’re charging for.

Amazing experience and a great deal for ARC After Dark! Delicious bottomless small plates, great service and awesome atmosphere

Went for the weekend brunch. What an incredible experience. Celebrated mom's and sisters birthday and they absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and our server was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend this place. Make sure to try the ooey gooey skillet and the yogurt parfait, these were our favorites. A must try!

We went for their bottomless brunch this weekend and were extremely satisfied. It was a lot of fun to be able to try many different plates, well worth the price. My favourites were the Croque Madame, the B.C. Berry Basket Smoothie, and the buttermilk biscuit with honey butter. I did have much more than that but I’ll let the pictures show the rest. I’d highly recommend if you’re willing to pay for a high end food experience.

Angie H (Roaming and Wandering)

Food display is nice and the atmosphere is great, but the taste of the food is just okay.

Great experience and breakfast in weekend. Barbara made our day to the happiest one with her happy face and hospitality.. My order was avocado toast and it was great. But my family ordered for "A la carte" and they loved it!

Benjamin YH. Ham

We had a reservation for eight for one and was late but twenty minutes but the restaurant staff was so amazing and accommodating. Our host Julie was amazing. Excellent place to come and for sure order the brunch buffet well worth it.

MANBIR RANDHAWA

This place deserves nothing short of a 5/5 rating. The soup, the coffee, the sandwich, the fries and the dessert all surprised us with unique flavors and great presentation as you can see from the photos. We had friendly service from the entire staff that very patiently answered our questions about the items on the menu. There appears to be an extensive selection of alcohol as well for those looking to pair their meals with alcohol. Lastly, the location is great and sits close to the waterfront, making this place ideal for a dinner date or business meal. Thank you to the entire team for the really great dining experience.

Have you tried this place out? Because you NEED TO!! We were guests at this restaurant for Arc after Dark and oh my god the food was 10/10!! ????????????????❤️❤️❤️❤️ they were cooked thoroughly and marinated just enough and everything kind of melted in the mouth! The customer service was flawless! They were the best staff I have seen in a restaurant! So much respect and attention to detail! I would recommend this place to anyone 100%!

ARC restaurant, the food, the service, the taste, everything was great. The decor was also good. Definitely worth it coming to experience it. We tried almost all the inclusive brunch items. The location was good because after eating all these delicious meals, you are going to want to take a walk. Would definitely come back, after all this settle!

Thr brunch is amazing, has to be close to the best I've ever had. Service was great. Will definitely come back.

SO. GOOD. This place deserves 6 stars. First thing...the food. Ah-maze-ing! We tried out both Arc After Dark (bottomless small plates) and the Weekend Brunch (all inclusive). The entire menu is comprised of ingredients of the highest quality, all locally sourced, and made with the greatest of care. Presentation, texture, and taste - the food here has it all. Beer, wine, and cocktail list has a variety of delicious offers. The ambiance and decor are perfect. Love the high ceilings. Service is bar none. They're all wonderful, from the host and servers to the manager and Sous Chef. Facilities are spotless. The price is up there, but if you're willing to splurge for a special occasion, I HIGHLY recommend ARC, particularly the AYCE menus.

Enjoyed brunch with a couple of friends. The service was amazing and very attentive. The food came out quickly but I would rank the food as average. Nothing was a stand out. For the price of all you can eat brunch, I would recommend the experience.

Manashree Patil

I had such an amazing time here. I booked online and came with my friends for the weekend brunch experience. We ordered one of each item on the brunch menu and the food came out super quick because our waitress staggered the dishes. I especially loved the Traditional Benedict and BC berry basket smoothie. Overall, amazing quality food and an amazing experience that I will cherish with my friends for a long time.

Dong Woo Kim

The 50 dollar brunch is a really good deal I reccomend the braised pork cheeks!!

ARC is a great place for a meal. Service and food are spot on. ARC has upped it's game over the last few years. Far better than I remember. Good job!

Justin Ferrie

We were late for our reservation by twenty minutes and they were still able to accommodate us. We also had a party of eight mite I add. They followed all covid protocols. We opted for the all you can eat brunch. What can I say we were absolutely blown away. The food was amazing but better yet our server Julie went up and beyond for us. She by far made the experience over the top. Also the management came by to check how everything was. You can tell this establishment really does care for their customer. I highly recommend this place. kuddos to Julie for a very memorable experience.

Incredible service, beyond kind waitstaff. Due to traffic I missed a reservation, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They also overheard us discussing plans for my birthday and brought out a complimentary dessert. Above and beyond! The food is unbelievably great. The all you can eat brunch offers an amazing selection of sweet and savory that will be sure to fit anyone's pallete. The star of the meal was hands down the Croque Madame, as well as the Ooey Gooey Skillet. Will be back for sure, and not just for special occasions.

Luis Rogers

Very expensive for not so delicious food. Breakfast was well over 150$ for mediocre food. I would definitely not recommend coming here if you don’t want so spend lots and lots of money on just O.K food. There are many bakery’s and other restaurants around this area that are cheaper and have better food. Very modern setting. I would not come back.

Dylan Soo

Everything was perfection...starting with the hostess and our server was impeccable. The delicious food was a bonus on top of already top notch first impressions. The perfect Sunday brunch over the holiday season.

Just had brunch here and I wish I could give my experience 6 stars. Our server Baba was extraordinary. She has an amazing energy about her and just knew how to anticipate what we needed. The food was to die for. So satiating and flavourful. Brunch is going to be a monthly ritual for us.

Murray Lundberg

Amazing service, great ambiance, and delightful dishes. They use fresh quality ingredients including herbs that they pick from their garden upstairs. Great experience overall.

Andrew Mardjuki

Great service and location. Very professional servers. Unfortunately my Cobb salad did not live up to expectations at all. The fact that It was $24 makes me even more frustrated. I’d be happy to pay $14 or $15 for it. This is a high end restaurant located at the waterfront, I’d expect the food and dishes to be of utmost quality.

Jess Lam

Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Shout to Baba for being such a friendly and nice server:)

Due to provincial restriction, we reserved patio seats. It is located in Fairmont Hotel so I had to go through Lobby first. Having dinner while enjoying ocean view is healing experience during Pandemic. Food was fantastic and I definitely recommend 3 course dinner for $49 (you need to pay $15 extra if you want tenderloin steak). The server was kind, humourous and attentive. I will visit again next time when I come to downtown.

Shahanaz Bhuiyan

Food quality is just ok, most of the 'little meals' are quite greasy and sweet. Overall food quality reminded me of Denny's. I'm not entirely sure this place is anywhere close to fine dining. Service is not bad, they have forgotten one of our orders, within 10min all was rectified. Covid19 restrictions are in place.

My sister and I were so excited for this place but it was a huge disappointment. The concept of 'bottomless brunch' is a great one but the experience differed. They provide you with a menu where you pick the items and it is brought to you by a server but we were discouraged from ordering all the items that we wanted...so it was not "bottomless". My sister has a popular foodie account and wanted to take photos for her account but the food was not up to standard and we didn't get the items we wanted. Taste-wise it was not worth the price at all and we were both left feeling unsatisfied. The service was also not great. We were never given water and were never asked if we wanted coffee or mimosas...so we went the whole brunch without coffee or water! A couple of items were forgotten as well and we had to re-ask the server. He only appeared to care more after learning my sister had a foodie account at the end. It was a waste of $100 and we wish we had gone to Palate Kitchen or Cafe Medina instead.

All Inclusive brunch was amazing, if you have a big appetite you can eat everything. Are a good portion, not small, not big. Just right to eat and try everything.

Diana Chan

We tried the weekend brunch which we unexpectedly fell upon. It is a set price with unlimited amount of plate orders. On Fridays I choose to be pescatarian and wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make the meal “worth” it. I was pleasantly surprised I was able to try a variety of things without feeling limited. I enjoyed the parfait, avocado toast, salmon Benedict, harvest grain bowl, breakfast taco, and waffle. My favourites were the parfait, harvest grain bowl and the waffle. The others were ok, very standard flavours. Would I come back again? YES! The staff was so pleasant and the brunch is discounted on weekdays ????. A must try!

Samantha Tsui

One of the best restaurants I've ever been too. The bottomless brunch was phenomenal !

Tilo Voltz

Arrived for brunch with a group of my friends. Food was great, but noticed a hair in one of the dishes. I hate to complain but it was mentioned by my friend at the table. Staff apologized profusely, but this was slightly embarrassing as I had not mentioned it to not make a fuss. It may have been handled better.

Krista

Service was pretty good, and the food was tasty. However, I don’t think that ARC is good value for the high cost. There are many other restaurants in the downtown area that provide much better service/food (e.g. botanist, which is located just up the street).

Amulay Chadha

We went here for the all you can brunch! I am totally in love with the concept and the ambience of the restaurant. It was all top notch for the price of $49 only. What slightly disappointed me was the taste - it was good but it wasn’t too bomb. It felt in between diner and hotel breakfast but still it was an experience I recommend especially at that price point. The parfait and desert skillet are a must try.

Rishavraj Das

I'm giving it three stars not because food or service was bad but for the prices on the menu I expected way better service and the food was just ok. To be fair their chowder soup was amazing but I couldn't even finish my desert because the crust was hard to chew and there was nothing special about it which is a huge disappointment for someone who loves desert.

Quite possibly the worst service I've ever had. 45 minutes before waitress even took our dinner order. An hour and a half to get our dinners on our table. Had 6:30 reservations and told the waitress we had an 8:30 show to attend. By 8:00 had to tell waitress we needed our dinners right away in order to scarf our $50 steaks back within 15 minutes in order to make our show Waitress made excuse for her poor service by saying she had several tables to take care of. She had 3 tables. It's unacceptable when they're charging $18 for a cocktail and $50 for an entree. Got better service at the Cactus Club down the block.

Came for the Friday bottomless brunch. Everything was very tasty! Nothing we didn't like and our server was very attentive. All the staff here were so nice. We tried alot of dishes! Definitely great value as it is 15% off on Fridays.

We tried one of each item on the weekend brunch menu. Favourites were the fried chicken, croissant apple skillet, braised pork cheeks, beef poutine and harvest grain bowl. Service was great.

Went for happy hour at Arc Restaurant back in November. It was my first time dining there. The ambiance and food were excellent. Our server, Vivian was very attentive. Had a lovely time. Will go back again. I highly recommend this place. I want to go back to try their Weekend Brunch.

We didn’t have a reservation so we had sit outside. Which was totally fine cause it wasn’t raining and they have propane heaters so didn’t have to wear a jacket while eating. We came for the all you can eat brunch! Kids under 5 eat free too! There are 15 items on the menu to choose from. You can order 8 dishes at a time. We tried most of the items on the menu. We didn’t like the Parfait. The Avocado coconut yogurt was not good at all. It had no sweetness to it. But everything else was delicious and well seasoned. Favourite items have to be the jerk fried chicken, beef short rib poutine, and the braised pork cheeks. The jerk fried chicken was super moist and had a nice crunch to it. The funnel cakes and maple syrup was a nice compliment to the chicken. The maple syrup had a bit of heat but nothing crazy. The beef short rib poutine was so good! We order 2 orders. What’s there not to like?? The beef short rib was a nice portion and was tender and well season. This place is pretty busy and the line ups were long. I would book ahead to get a reservation. We were able to get a table with out making a reservation but it was outside. Food did take a little long to get in between orders. Like I said this place does get very busy for lunch. August 28 2021 - Update. We decided to come back today for breakfast. We didn’t get the brunch today and ordered from the menu. We did have a reservation booked from yesterday. Being a Saturday this place was busy. The food took forever to come. We didn’t order anything complicated. It was pretty much eggs bacon and toast. Our server seemed to be overwhelmed. Other customers were waiting for their bill and even their food. She struggled to manage her tables. I waited 35 minutes to get jam and butter for my toast. Finally I got up and grabbed my own jam and peanut butter. After waiting I requested to have new toast, as my toast was cold. My recommendation is not to come on the weekends as it’s super busy. If you don’t mind waiting and just want to relax with the family then come on down. It is a beautiful restaurant. Based off my second dining experience. Going to downgrade to 3 stars. Hopefully you will get a better server. I understand it can be busy but the restaurant should have the proper number of server for the number tables.

Amy Liu

Went there with my girls for my birthday brunch and had the best dining experience ever. All the staff were super friendly from the reception all to the our server.

Carlos Pan

Came here Sunday night for dinner. The restaurant is a large space and it was not busy for a Sunday night. The ambience could be better as I felt there was nothing special about the interior decor or design. It was very typical of a hotel restaurant lounge. Just very dim and plain! I had already eaten dinner so I wanted to order something small. I went for the confit kabocha squash which was pretty good. The squash was nice and soft and you get a large amount of soft cheese. The berries also added a nice touch! The only thing I would change is less balsamic drizzle because I found it a bit over powering. I had the rum and winter cocktail as my first drink. It was tasty and reminded me of Christmas. Then my friend and I shared a bottle of white wine (the Masi) which we both enjoyed. For dessert I ordered the masala chai carrot cheesecake. It was good and a unique combination that worked. However, for $14 it was very, very, small! Almost laughable! Overall the food here was decent but I'm not sure it is enough to make me come back again.

Nazy

I really like that brunch. It was unlimited service… our server also was excellent. Highly recommend ✨

nice all u can eat brunch! Spent some time to try out each dish on the menu. My favorite is the biscuit and croissant, the pork cheek as well!

We came here for breakfast and the food was great. What was even better was our server Arvin. This guy made our morning and for that reason, ARC will be our new breakfast destination in downtown Vancouver. Great for kids as well. Cheers Arvin ????????.

Food was great, servers were friendly and attentive, great ambiance. However, they have the WORST and the absolute SLOWEST host in the front. The guy was a complete slo-mo. It took him 10 minutes to get 3 people in.

Did the bottomless brunch with my family and also got takeout recently. The food quality is lacking compared to other Fairmont restaurants. There was no wow factor in any of the dishes and some were even disappointing. Would have expected something more elevated, given the price.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Arc on November 27th. We booked the private dining room from 7:30pm until closing for our family. First and foremost, the service and staff were exceptional. Our waitress was wonderful, I believe her name was Jennifer, and I was so thankful for her care and attention. The bar seemed a bit back logged when it came to serving drinks so that was perhaps the only service-related issue. It look a long time to get the drinks at our table. My biggest issue was with the abysmal quality of the vegetarian food. We were a group of 9 with 5 of us being vegetarians. This was something we informed the restaurant of when we made our booking. We emphasized multiple times that it was really important to us to have some good options as we weren't keen with what was listed on the menu. We were assured that there would be a good seasonal option if we didn’t like what was on the menu for the entree. That night, all five of us vegetarians had the arugula salad and pappardelle pasta. The pears in the salad were hard and undercooked and there was a lack of walnuts and balsamic dressing, so the salad itself was very poorly flavoured and fell flat. The pappardelle was all pasta and maybe 2 halves of brussel sprouts and a couple pieces of broccolini. The taste of the sauce itself was also very bland. I wonder if they thought loading the vegetarian dishes with cheese was the only course of action with respect to flavour. No one actually finished their pasta and the dishes went back more than half full -the majority of the dish was empty carbs and just bland pasta! My husband’s sirloin dish had more vegetables than my vegetarian dish. For the record, the meat dishes looked incredibly well composed and there were no complaints on that. But the majority of the table was vegetarian and we only enjoyed the shared appetizers and desserts. It would have been nice for my vegetarian family to have enjoyed the food as much as my in-laws did. This restaurant should and can do better than that for vegetarians, especially in a city like Vancouver. There seems to be a lack of creativity in the kitchen when it comes to anything plant-based. I'm not sure why there weren't more vegetables in our dish to compensate for no meat. Is the kitchen seriously lacking bell peppers, mushrooms, or other basic vegetables that they surely use for other dishes? Why did the meat dishes have more vegetables? Is that how this restaurant believes vegetarians eat? Bland and boring food with no soul? It was really disappointing that we left feeling so underwhelmed with the food after having paid so much for the meal. I was contacted by the restaurant after sending them an email (with everything I explicitly detailed above) about our experience with the food and they apologized for not making it clear what their capacity to cook vegetarian food is at the time of our booking. I was also told that they would speak to the chef and get back to me but that hasn't happened. I would give this restaurant 5 stars for service and ambience, 4 stars for the meat dishes, and 1 star for quality of vegetarian food. Update (12/6/21): Arc emailed me back and will compensate a portion of the dinner bill and apologized that the vegetarian options were not up to standard. No word on whether their vegetarian options will improve moving forward, but I do appreciate that response over nothing at all.

Dani Gibbons

I had such an excellent time at Arc. Our server was very nice and social! The food was delicious, I ordered off a menu option they had for $39. On this menu they offered 14 dishes you could choose from. I chose the biscuits, croque monsieur, crispy potatoes and the waffle! My partner had the avocado toast form a la carte. The food was impeccable, I would have eaten there all week if I didn’t love trying new places so much! But it will definitely be a staple in my trips to a Vancouver.

Joyce Chan

The best experience in all of our trip to Vancouver. The restaurant and the hotel both are excellent and the service is top notch. As part of Amex we had a deal for the restaurant and the hotel. Breakfast was covered as part of Amex. We had 5 meals at this restaurant and it was the best all the time. For breakfast our favorite was Benny with Spinach and caramelized onions. The hollandaise sauce is out of the world. We also had Pancakes and Avocado toast. We paired it with a latte onee time and cappuccino another time and a smoothie both times. For dinner our favorite was Butternut squash soup. We also tried the Sablefish, Cobb salad, Veggie burger, Lentils and Chicken wings. All the items were delicious and sufficient quantity.

What do you Think

great food and friendly service, what a shame that the place itself is so uninteresting! it really looks like an airport or an impersonal hotel lobby (oh, actually it is oops). also are you kidding?! i’m paying $49 without tip and tax for a fancy bottomless brunch and i can only get DRIP COFFEE?! i’m not at a diner (nor am i paying the price of one!) last but not least, i believe creating a vegetarian / vegan option or discount would make sense since the expensive stuff is of course the meat and salmon—not very eco-conscious of them and kind of backward for a fancy pace like this one which is supposed to set the example. nice morning brunch spent there but i don’t think i will ever go again…

My friend forgot make a reservation, but we had to gathere for bottom less brunch, but due to no reservations we (Only 2) were advised to leave only 1 hour and 30 min. No time for the bottom less brunch. While we were there, restaurant wasn't full or no lineup..but still, we had to leave 1hour and half. Out server was nice. 2 drinks, 1 sandwiches. Food... Just thought why I'm paying $80 including tip for just a grilled cheese sandwiches...

We visited this restaurant for their all you can eat afternoon brunch on Sunday afternoon. The food tasted good, but service was extremely slow. Also, brunch food is pretty filling so I didn’t think it was worth the price.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Service was terrible, it took 40 minutes to get out bill, it was incorrect twice, and the third time it was dropped off the server walked away without taking our payment. Go somewhere else - anywhere else!

$49 all-you-can-order ! I was worried the quality of food may be lessened, but I was wrong! I was so amazed by each dish. I can't wait to come back to try all the rest of the menu that I couldn't try.

Arc restaurant is located inside the fairmont hotel. Very sleek and stylish designed interior and most comfortable seating. Bar is classy too Extremely polite mannered , efficient and welcoming serving staff who not only serve you your meal but engage you into a conversation that makes you even more comfortable. Stopped for breakfast here and ordered orange juice and cappuccino to start. Juice is not freshly squeezed but tastes good. Cappuccino was served with a almond biscuit and tasted just so perfect. Avocado toast is single served with arugula n poached eggs which you can get on the side. Apple cinnamon french toast was soft and yummy. Looking forward to try more items from the menu

great buffet breakfast! Incredible choices and great service especially if you get Vivian! Fruit selection is great. Lots of pastry, omelets, and even eggs Benedict. On first floor of hotel.

This review is being written during Covid when many restrictions have just been lifted. Our group of four was trying to walk in to a restaurant for dinner on a summer Thursday. Service was fantastic, the seats on the patio were comfortable, the outdoor heater cut the evening chill. Food and drinks were all good. Four stars given because the restaurant closed the kitchen at 8 pm and because of the prices. Just something that diners should be aware of. Very handy for people staying in nearby hotels.

Maria Garcha

Had a lovely night at ARC thanks to our server James! We went there for their after dark bottomless menu which had a nice range of items. Our favourites are the baked brie, mussel pasta, and braised beef!

Cathy Huang

First class customer service! This restaurant knows how to take care of their customers; somehow my order was not entered in and thus delayed things a little and to make things worse for them one of the servers accidentally spilled my drink but they were so apologetic and completely handled this accident in a very professional manner which makes the difference between a happy customer and an upset customer. I have dined here several times before and have always had a great experience (both food quality-wise and customer service-wise) and the way they handle this mishap was exceptional and thus I will definitely continue to come here and support them.

Excellent weekend brunch like no other. The all you can eat brunch was delicious and had so many amazing breakfast/lunch options. The service was good and had multiple people checking on us at all times. The only thing that made my review 4 stars instead of 5 was the wait to get our table. We had a reservation for 11:00 and didn’t get sedated until close to 11:10. That aside I will definitely return for weekend brunch next time I’m in Vancouver.

Mikael Samvelian

I went for the all you can eat brunch during the weekend and both the food and service were superb! We tried almost all of the items on the menu and our favourites were the harvest grain bowl, liege waffle, croque madame, berry smoothie, and the pork cheeks.

Fantastic atmosphere and wonderful food! We went with the ARC After Dark small plates menu and it was a great experience! Definitely a pricy night out, but there was lots of selection on the menu and we had so much fun ordering multiple rounds of different dishes and trying them all! Great cocktail selection as well, super fun to try ones made with honey from the hotel's own apiary.

I booked a private room about two and a half months ago, for our team Christmas dinner that was held on Friday December 7th . Alexandra helped me organize the event and made sure everything was perfect and good to go right up to the day of. I added my own festive personality by adding beautiful and quality Christmas Crackers to each place setting. Vivian, our server for the night, was extremely helpful and friendly...always smiling and so gracious. I couldn't ask for better service or client care. The food was fantastic! I started with the stracciatella salad which was so very nice, light and refreshing. My main course was the olive oil poached sturgeon...absolutely delicious...perfectly done! My dessert of choice was the chocolate hazelnut tart...decadent ending to a lovely meal. Big compliments to the chef! ???? A special thank you again to Alexandra, Vivian and all the friendly staff at Arc in the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel! You guys were the best... I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2019 New Year!

Food and service was great (shout out to Julie) but I am giving this 3 stars for the hostess/host. I called for FOUR days straight trying to make a reservation. Each time either no answer or the hotel reception took my number and said the hosts/hostesses would call me back. It never happened. It was for a birthday and I wanted to make sure I can get a reso or at least have someone tell me "no we are fully booked" but no. Nothing. Waiting game. Coincidentally, I had a friend who was near by Arc when I told her about my situation. She went on my behalf and to make a reservation in person. Lo and behold the hostess already had my number from hotel staff and created a booking for my friend under my name in no time. A FEW HOURS later I missed a call from Arc and it was the hostess leaving me a voicemail saying that there are no more tables and they are fully booked. But I already got my confirmation??? Hosts/Hostesses are a mess, booking a table was impossible and so time consuming so be prepared to be never get a call back.

The Wise Heart

Staying at the hotel - room service is very good however, service in the restaurant is awful. We went for lunch and had sub par service. Everything is slow due to understaffing and over seating. Went back for brunch today and I could not be less impressed. Took over 40 mins to have our orders taken. Once we had our initial orders taken there was little to no service. No refills on water and or follow up from the server. Food for brunch was good but the service was depressing. Server was clearly attempting to do her job but is not being enabled by management. Please make changes.

I went on a sunday at 5:30pm Aug 14, 2021. The hostess was not welcoming at all. Waiter was good and the food was ok, the menu needs more options. The place is well arranged.

Savannah

I went to ARC for dinner, the food was good but it could be much better for a luxury place like this. I loved the environment and the staff behavior, very professional. The head staff was very friendly and he was doing a great job taking care of all the guests. I give 4/5 for now because I expected more from ARC.

Robin Logan

Amazing for the moment. Great service, drinks and food, but there are better places for those who aren't staying immediately above it. If you are staying anywhere nearby definitely consider a visit

I got a reservation a month ago. First, if you have a car, you can use ‘Im park’ parking lot. The price is 30min - 4.25$. This place so neat and nice; high quality of foods, friendly staff. You will never regret. You can try everything you want.

Katie Solon

Great experience! All the staff were so friendly & provided high quality of culinary service. We had a great time during the bottomless brunch last March 14th. Emilee our server, Josie, Toan, & the manager that day (so sorry I forgot your name :( ) were all so nice, & made sure us & other guests had a good time.

Arc is lovely place with large windows facing the north shore mountains to enjoy a fun meal with great company. We had a leisurely weekend brunch trying out the extensive all inclusive menu. Items come on small plates so that you can taste the full menu with friends. Food favourites: The warm biscuits with honey butter, fresh berries and jerk chicken (without the funnel cake) were my top picks. Others on the table really like the Ooey Gooey skillet, smoked salmon Benny, sausage and bacon. Menu tip: If there are specific items from the plate that you liked, you can order just that your next order. Eg just the fresh berries without the granola parfait. Refinement Opportunities for five stars: The poached eggs were over done for the items we received so the cook time could be more closely watched. The seasoning on the avocado toast was lacking so could be improved and the migras taco could use more cheese and seasoning in the sauce for more depth of flavour. Service and ambiance: Overall everything is done well in this beautiful setting. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. He had our coffee, tea, water and smoothies refilled as needed.

Karen Cheng

Came here for their weekend all inclusive brunch and had a great experience. Service was great. Food was also great. Everything was served quickly to our table. We tried everything on the menu and really enjoyed the poutine, parfait, pork cheeks, croque Madame and harvest grain bowl. Only thing that I would not order again would be the breakfast taco. It was pretty basic and just takes up extra space in your stomach. They had good covid practices with tall plexi glass partitions between the tables and tables were not placed too close together. At first, I thought it was a little overpriced when looking at the menu but food quality justified the price in the end. Would recommend for others to try.

Jessica Law

The weekend brunch buffet was delightful. Loved being able to try different things... all delish. Highly recommend and will definitely do again. They were pretty booked up though, so recommend making a reservation at least a week ahead approaching the holiday season.

J B

Walked in great atmosphere and following Covid protocols. Wasn't too busy that morning and sat down for breakfast at a booth which was very clean. Overall the experience was amazing as the service was exceptional. The food was okay and for the price you pay it doesn't give you that "wow" fracture. Overall everything was great.

Nicki Ellis

I really like the lay out of this restaurant. It’s not crowded with tables next to each other, and great views out the window from every angle. Tasteful decor… and even tastier food! The bottomless brunch was to die for and if I could marry food, it would be here. My boyfriend nearly passed out of it wasn’t for our wonderful server Stephanie waking him up to refill his coffee. She was awesome! Chad was so sweet especially because he laughed at my jokes. Pradeep was super professional and friendly making sure we loved everything. I’m hoping to come back here again soon!

J Kaur

Tried the all you can eat brunch and it did not disappoint. I'll start with the service, our server was attentive and friendly. One of the managers also came by the table to check up on us. Can only say good about the service here. The food. Oh the food. Small plates and they'll allow you to order two at a time. This allowed us to pace ourselves and not order everything at once. Every dish we tried was good. The best though, the apple skillet. The sous chef brought this to our table and said it was their favourite. It soon became ours as well. Aside from this dish, the biscuits are a must! Now was it worth the price.. hmm I'm not so sure. Though if I was craving those biscuits, I'd prob be tempted to come back!

Daralan Hubbard

Love their Brunch!!! The unlimited small portion is such a great concept as you get to try many different dishes. My favorite was the avocado toast, it was so tasty. Will definitely be back.

Lori Salter

Our server was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Started withe the chick pea lentil soup. It was well balanced and had great flavours, though it was a little on the salty side. For my main I had the chicken. It was robust in its flavor combinations. I was not a huge fan of the mixture in the textures it was paired with. I found the nuts off putting but the sauce and the onions saved the dish

Our last day in Vancouver, so we wanted to fancied it up. We went for brunch at ARC restaurant, part of Fairmount Waterfront hotel. We had our reservation, and at arrival, we were quickly seated. Our waitress Vivian section was hopping. She was having hard time to reach us after she introduced herself. We are waiting patiently and little hungry. The assistant manager or manger Tobias saw us , decided to help Vivian and take our orders. He was super amazing and helpful. I started with hibiscus mimosa, and had and amazing and delicious salmon Benedict. My sister went for an egg and bacon sandwich. We both enjoyed our dishes; we devoured our plates completely. If you are willing to sworn extra money, this is one is good place.

Visited this past weekend with some friends for the all you can eat brunch and it was great! I’ve never had a dining experience like this. The service was impeccable with the server and the manger checking how we were doing very regularly throughout our meals. Our server also gave a run down of all the dishes once they reached our table. I went with two other people and we ordered all 15 items on the menu and I was able to try 13 of them. Personal favorites were the Ooey Gooey skillet, biscuit with honey butter and the jerk fried chicken. I wasn’t disappointed with any of the things I tried, even the Harvest Grain bowl which I thought would have been boring but was surprisingly tasty. Hope I can visit again in the future!

Recently just had brunch here (July 10, 2021) and ordered the avocado toast and pancakes. As a server brought out the pancakes my friend noticed a hair across her butter and fruit and pointed it out to the waiter. The waiter then stated he would just change out the butter and bring us a new one, however the hair was touching other parts of the food/plate. My friend then brought this to his attention and the waiter then took the plate back to the kitchen. When the waiter brought the dish back out he said he changed the butter and the fruit… no mention of the pancakes or the plate itself. The manager then came to our table and made no mention of the hair or apologize. He simply asked if we had received all of our items before walking away. Extremely disappointing coming from a “nicer” restaurant. There were also no discounts on the bill, which is besides the point. A simple acknowledgment and some new pancakes could have fixed the issue. Especially when you pay $26 for them and pancake batter costs pennies….. be better

Mitchell Sherman

Love the all you can eat buffet menu. Quality ingredients and delicious tasting food. Service was ok.

My husband heard about this restaurant on a review in TikTok and we decided to check it out. We had awesome service. Our waitress Julie was so friendly, patient as we got ourselves organized. She help us stagger our food so we could enjoy and try all the different items. She was funny and The food was so delicious. We really had a good time and definitely recommend to everyone.

ARC has one of the best brunch offerings in Vancouver. Their bottomless brunch for $39 is a great deal as you can try all the items on their menu. The portions are small but that allows you to try more dishes or reorder something you really liked. Keep in mind, anything outside the bottomless brunch menu can be a little pricey but it’s an amazing deal nonetheless????????

I'll definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who wants to listen ;)

Saturday brunch experience. Host at the check in was totally confused and direct me to the table that existed nowhere. Took me 15mins to get my table and sit down despite the reservation. The server was attentive and helpful, food was ok. Some are too heavy and greasy for brunch. The kitchen uses eggs everywhere... the ingredients are limited making the food selection taste very similar to each other. It was a goodexperience but I'm not coming back for the food as it seemed overpriced for what you get.

I have nothing but great things to say! Went for the all-inclusive brunch for 2. For the amount of food, quality and service, it is money well spent (roughly $40pp). There are 10+ items (coffee and smoothie included!) and you can order 4 at a time. It’s a great selection with gluten free and vegan items as well. Our server was very attentive, accommodating and professional. The location is superb! Perfect for taking a stroll at Coal Harbour after. Overall, loved the experience and would highly recommend.

Their weekend brunch was awesome! I particularly like their breakfast flights among other yummy food. Their bennies was great and their pastries was top notch. We were at the patio and that added to the superb experience we had. Everything was great, from the food to the service. It was a busy weekend and the only downside was the food was a bit slow. Other than that, we had a great time and we will be back!

Fun to try once AYCE brunch. Lovely view and vibe. Upbeat service. We loved the fruit smoothie and harvest bowl veg. Other breakfast items were alright, dry for my taste. I really looked forward to the waffle and benny and found them underwhelming in flavor and texture. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen.

ARC is a Canadian Cuisine located in Fairmont Waterfront, downtown, Vancouver. ????????‍????ARC provides handcrafted urban artisan dishes created by Chef Michael Pagnacco. Some of their ingredients is from their roof garden & beehives. ????The atmosphere is modern and full of light. Sitting in the restaurant, you can see Canada Place and part of North Vancouver mountains and the water. ⏱ Weekend Brunch is served in two ways: 1- A La Carte Large Plates 2- All Inclusive Brunch $49 per person ❗️My suggestion: * If you can’t eat a lot literally, go for A La Carte Large Plates. The brunch portion is as big as most other restaurants. ** If you are here to experience and hungry enough, go for All Inclusive with 15 options and you can order as many items as possible, yet 2 items each time. ✅Must-tries from All-inclusive menu: - Colcannon Breakfast (if you like sausage)???? - Croque Madame???? - Jerk Fried Chicken (Funnel Cake at the bottom is wonderful)???? - Ooey Gooey Skillet (what a super delicious croissant and apple mixture) ???? ❌ There were some wrong servings in 30 minutes and three wrong orders were served for us. Hope they can solve it. Enjoy the atmosphere and food!????

Amazing all around. Great service by Alcina this morning when we enjoyed brunch at ARC. We tried almost everything and have only good things to say. Our favourites were the ooey gooey and croque madame. Can’t wait to go back.

Since I have to work the evening of Thanksgiving, we picked ARC as a last minute decision for a Thanksgiving Brunch instead of dinner, and we're so glad we did. For $49 we had access to an all inclusive menu of brunch foods and non-alcoholic beverages, all of which were of amazing quality. I'm always worried about getting turkey entrees from restaurants because it tends to be more like pressed turkey, almost like thick cut deli turkey. No problem here! The skillets were easily a decent size for 1 person, though most items would be better suited to be split. Our waitress Alcina was absolutely amazing as well! Extremely happy and jovial, yet quite tentative and always picking up on your needs. She typically recommends taking your time in between food orders, so you can probably enjoy it and relax. However, when I mentioned I had to work later in the day, she changed gears and when dropping off food, she would ask what we would like to order next. When we were most on our way out, she mentioned that for now they are running a brunch special every weekend, for the cost of $35, and it will include the same offerings except the turkey. Can't wait to go back for this, and Alcina too!

Simon Wong

As the menu is on the pricey side, we tried one of the least expensive items on the menu: the $30 risotto. It was one of the best I've tasted! As for the service, it's fast and the servers are friendly. They even take time to chat with you.

Jay Lee

We go for brunch every Sunday with our small social bubble. So we experienced some places already. Arc was on our list for months, almost as ok g as the wait list for arcs brunch is. Finally we got as spot and went there on Sunday. Seating: Hostess provided us with a table at the end of the restaurant in a separate room that seemed extremely outdated and had nothing to do with what you expect Form Arc Restaurant. So I went to front desk and asked for another table, to which we could move within minutes. Why we did not get this table from the beginning I don’t know. It was one of two free and sanitized tables. Concept: For brunch you have 90 minutes (for 2) or 105 minutes (for 4) or 2 hours (for 5+). During this time you can order bottomless taste plates out of 17 dishes on the menu (every person in your party can order 3 plates in one round. But there is an unlimited number of rounds). So prepare and come hungry! This concept could be awesome, but we had to wait almost 45 minutes before the first 3 plates per person where served. Not so perfect! Service was amazing! The lady serving us was soooo fun and really caring. She even took the order for the second round ahead because she realized our first order was not yet served. After all, the food was delicious! Service and Food are the reasons for us to go again.

I have been to this restaurant many times for weekend buffets when it opened back in early 2000, but not recently. As it is located across from the COVID vaccination site in Canada Place, I decided to have a nice breakfast after my vaccination, though prices are higher than Starbucks breakfast. I had a cappuccino and an Eggs Benedict which were both very good. Server Jennifer was friendly and fast, good services. Venue and ambiance were excellent, very high ceiling and bright interior decorated with nice artwork. Will be back during the summer.

One of my favorite places to stop for lunch or a drink when in vancouver! Usually sit at the bar and the mixologists are amazing, always happy to whip up something unique based on what you are feeling that day. Food service is quick and quality and they are happy to fix whatever concerns you may have. 5 stars for service and quality, 4 stars for value!

Our server Katie C. was extremely rude & seemed very racist. She was slamming & kicking the door, and was very passive aggressive towards us. we’d heard a lot of good things about this place but it honestly did not meet our expectations at all whatsoever. The food was also very mediocre, I feel like I could’ve cooked better food at home. Not worth the price! come here if you want to get disrespected by passive aggressive servers & eat subpar food.

Andrea Cordeiro

Had the bottomless brunch yesterday, it was fabulous :) Got hollandaise on my cuff as I was reaching to get something, and almost shot my half of a Croque Madame (yummy!) off the table and onto the floor, trying to share with a friend ( just order 1 each, they have tons) Managed to keep it on the plate, just a bit of a mess on the table. Our server, Alvin, was amazing in bringing all the treats we ordered and cleaning up my messes. I think I need the Fairmont doggy mascot to catch anything that might end up on the floor :) It’s a wonderful place with delectable food. Definitely, going again soon.

Decided to stop by for dinner with a friend. Located inside the Fairmont Waterfront, the restaurant was very spacious and airy with tall ceilings. For dinner, ARC offers $39 Two Course, $49 Three Course. Supplemental charge of $15 applies for beef tenderloin and halibut. Sharable dessert course portioned for at least 2 people. For appetizer, we tried the seared scallop frisée salad and the beef carpaccio. The scallops were seared and seasoned amazingly but the beef carpaccio was amazing with a great acidic dressing. For the mains, we had the halibut and beef tenderloin. Oddly enough, I really enjoyed the vegetables in both dishes. The halibut came with potato gnocchi, summer vegetables, fumet blanc, soft herbs. The beef tenderloin came with fingerling potatoes, broccolini, bordelaise sauce. For dessert, we shared bee’s knees sundae. This dish took forever to come out… but wow it was massive. Came with rooftop honey caramel, salted-honey pecan, torched honey marshmallow, LOTS of vanilla ice-cream, cocoa brownie, fudge sauce. We probably ate only half.

The all you can eat buffet offers great value for the money and the food is delicious. Service was impeccable as well.

Brittney Yoo

Came here for their bottomless weekend brunch and for $39/p you can get 17 different brunch items and free coffee and tea! It's pretty worth if you're able to eat a lot and you want delicious food. The service was nice and the food came out pretty fast. Majority of everything we tried was so good. The benny, pork cheeks and beef short rib poutine was my favourite! I would skip out on the breakfast meats though. The ooey gooey skillet was the best sweet item on the menu with the buttery croissants, caramelized apples, and cream cheese icing. Definitely worth checking out!

Beverley Huynh

The 49$ AYCE brunch is worth if you can eat a lot and if you like heavy/rich food! For this price, you know that you’re not expecting high quality food. But it’s still better than the average diner brunch. Everything is quite heavy, lots of butter, salt, oil, and eggs lol. Even the yogurt parfait was made from mascarpone, not yogurt. Talk about eating whipped cream with a spoon. Thank goodness there was a veggie bowl and smoothie lol. The skillet is apparently everyone’s fave - but cinnamon rolls made with croissant loaded with more butter and cream cheese is just too much for me to end a meal! Also the poutine and the pork cheeks were incredibly salty, almost inedible. I’ll prob not go back unless going with a group of friends who can eat a lot. It’d be more for the experience than for the food. The biscuits were surprisingly my fave, but that might be bc I ate it first lol. Service was great tho!

Ariana Church

I went to the brunch last Sunday and it was amazing. The quality of the ingredients is really fresh and the taste is delicious. I loved the traditional Benedictine and my husband the salmon Benedictine but all the dishes were very good. The price is fair and the service good, the server was always asking if we would like to order more from the menu each time she passes and saw our dishes empty. I just did not like to much the berry shake juice, it was missing sugar for my taste. Also the place, environment and decoration are really comfortable. It was a great experience for sure.

We tried their all inclusive breakfast/brunch menu, which is available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Everything was delicious and the quality of the food and drinks amazing for the price that you pay (about $40 per person). Out highlights were the Benny’s, the grain bowl, the pork cheeks as well as the sweet skillet.
