Mediocre, inexpensive lunch. $16.99. Sashimi was all slightly warm and obviously sitting at room temperature for some time. Very hard, heavy batter on some of the deep fried items. Fried rice and machine rolls were good.

I was skeptical at first about taking my family to dine here. I was born and raised in Toronto and traveled all thru Japan. The sushi I have experienced is hard to compete with. The building doesn't have a great curb appeal which didn't help my willingness to try. I guess I shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Trenton sushi delivered an experience that I can brag about. Although the establishment was at full capacity, the food was still delivered to the table in a timely manner. A couple of hiccups, but overall impressed given the nature of a busy Saturday evening. The staff were busy, but attended to our requests. The food was delicious and well presented. The tables were set up in a way that practiced social distancing and all the staff were wearing masks. Ordering with the iPad made things easy and streamlined the process. This also allowed for minimum contact with staff given COVID. All in all, happy to have finally tried out Trenton Sushi buffet.

I have been here a few times but tonight's visit made it in my top three worst restaurant experiences. I am even taking into consideration post lock down and have cut this restaurant some slack. Ipads were not charged and they asked us to use paper; not a big deal. They disclosed that the wait time would be longer, but I never imagined it to be this long. Wait times were at least 30 minutes between orders and the food that we ordered never came. Other food did come in its place-but not what we ordered. Very frusterating that other tabes that arrived after ours were served before us. We visited with kids who grew hungrier and more tired of the wait and not getting food that they ordered and would eat. Bathrooms were deplorable and could be compared to using an outdoor rest room facility. I have never been to an all you can eat buffet and left hungy. Even after speaking to staff, no discounts were offered beyond a half hearted apology and when we asked for a timeline of when our food would arrive, were told "eventually". We will never be eating here again and urge you to do the same.

4 stars because the price is pretty good for what you get. Having said that what you get is fair-to-good. Nice small portion sizes so you can try many different things. Pretty quick turnaround from the kitchen. Pleasant staff. Sushi rice doesn't taste like sushi rice. Fish is sliced pretty thin. Sashimi pieces are tiny but you can just order more. They have red tuna sushi and sashimi! Enjoyed dinner with the kids. Bottom line, this is about as good as it gets for all you can eat sushi.

They don't bring any of the food you order. Less than 1/3 of my fish came. If you order junk and deep-fried food it will show up. But fish forget it. This place is rapidly going down hill

Their menu says Seafood Udon Soup, but it’s really JUST SHRIMP. They put Shrimp Yaki Udon, but can’t put Shrimp Udon Soup, when shrimp is literally the only seafood in the soup. I feel robbed.

We are so pleased with the party tray we ordered for mother's day. We ordered the 60pc tray and there was nothing left!! The rolls and sushi were fresh and well made, and all were high quality (especially the fresh salmon sashimi). Great service and a good variety on the menu. I have always left full and happy with the portion size and price. I haven't had a single flaw in my experience after about ten visits I always have my expectations met. It isn't a very fancy and elaborate restaurant but the food and service compete with most others in the area.

Cons: Dining room could have been cleaner. Table dirty.. even in these times? They couldn't have sanitized it either !! Obviously. Server just wiped the food bits off with her hand lol Floor dirty..food bits and dust etc. Server / staff member was not very friendly. To start they dont give you enough ginger and wasabi. Not enough for even 2 ppl. No plates were given to us. We had to ask for plates. Pros: Sushi was good. Wide variety of sushi & other food for ayce. They have desserts too! Service was efficient, just robotic. I like the touch pad ordering system so you dont have to deal with unfriendly staff there lol And you can take your time placing your order. The lights and music inside help to create a good lively atmosphere. Best thing about this place is the sushi. It looked and tasted great. This is what matters most but then again so does a cleaning dining room. I dont want to see the kitchen. The sushi chefs did a great job-thank you so much!

If you're going for the sushi, I say skip it and find somewhere else. If you're interested in the noodles and other available items, it's all only okay. Stopped in on our way through Belleville and will not return. Have been to a number of all you can eat sushi buffets, and this was definitely on the bottom of the list.

Great presentation, selections and tastes great. Your computer ordering is great, especially the photos. One recommendation , I suggest staff & the computer system encourage customers to order 1 round of appetizers and submit, then, while waiting, place next order 1 round of main dishes and so on. This prevents a group of 5 people from sitting sitting and waiting without food (getting frustrated & hungry) until everyone figures out the system and chooses every dish. It also allows people to eat while the food is hot, instead of it all arriving at the same time and hurrying to eat before they get cold. It has been my experience people don't get the concept and want to order everything all at once. Keep up the good work!

Good but not not great. I'd probably give it 3 and a half stars if I could. The service was excellent though -- the woman who served us was friendly and the food came relatively quickly. The food itself was mixed. Tuna sushi came with wafer-thin tuna that was not so nice. Salmon sushi was much better. The rolls were decent. The bulgogi was good. AYCE lunch was priced fairly at $15.95 for adults and $13.95 for seniors (but the prices they list on facebook are misleading, ie. out of date). They have no website. We went on a Wednesday and it was busy but not crowded. Located in kind of a crappy strip mall, but the restaurant has good air-conditioning. A little dark inside. I would be happy to go back to Trenton Sushi, but I'll may try Thai Sushi next time I'm out here.

Really good! I've never really been to sushi before, so I can't say based off of too many experiences - buuuttt it was really good, I was full, somehow made room for mango ice cream ???? Quick service, very clean. Good variety of food, served fresh and hot (if appropriate). iPads for ordering, and we had plenty of space (long table for 3 people) even on a Saturday night, so good for those worried about covid. Will be returning.

Most staff are awesome, but one or two whine about having to do their jobs. Their quality of food has taken a nosedive in the last year and a half, and the last time we went all the dishes were filthy. The tea cups were so bad there was an oil film on the tea. ???? If you've fixed your dishwasher or done whatever is necessary to improve, let me know, I'd love to come back. I miss when you were the best.

Slow Service, the water that was being served was hot. Sushi was slightly warm, and the fish and rice were not chilled. The avocado in the sushi was mushy like a paste. One of the worst sushi experiences I have had. Not to mention the non-sushi dishes that came from the kitchen were almost cold. When we brought this up to one of the servers they argued with us that the rice in maki should be served warm....

Once a week, my best friend an I stop by for a lovely meal. We always order so much grub as it is always on our minds, needless to say it is near perfect every time. Soups are perfect temperature, not boiling nor cold. Sushi has superb mix of rice and fish, great combo. Staff are always friendly and patient, lovely to work with. Nothing is ever old tasting or bad, truly scrumptious. Even the music is upbeat and cheerful In, adds a sense of childhood and peace. In conclusion this is bussin bussin.

While staying in Trenton with my family we were looking for a good place to go out as a family and have dinner. We came across this restaurant as something that was a bit different from the typical fast food joints. Very relaxing atmosphere, and the food was great. Not to mention the ordering process was super easy. You get an iPad with clear images of the food to choose from, click and order! Then if you need to order more you just do it again! The food was brought out quite quickly and was great! Definitely recommend this place if you want to change things up.

Very disappointed the staff was completely overwhelmed and none spoke enough english other than "your order is ready " when it wasn't even close.....

I had high hopes for this place and really wanted to ljke it, since it's the only AYCE in Trenton, has a 4.2 rating, and friends said it was alright. Wow was I ever disappointed. I can only guess it has the rating it does because it's the only AYCE. I'll start with the good: customer servers were good and the food came quick enough. The bad is really just the food itself. I went to dinner. The white tuna wasn't of good quality but the salmon was ok. There were just plain weird rolls, like a crab one that was just shredded crab on top of rice rolls with, if I recall, some crushed tempura bits. That's it. There was a good variety of rolls, especially dragon rolls, and they varied from mediocre to ok. I stuck mostly with spicy salmon and dragon rolls. Which works I guess. But when you're paying dinner rates, you want the sashimi to at least be decent. The kitchen items at AYCE are rarely all good but almost all of it was mediocre at best. The enoki rolls were just plain awful beef and tiny pieces of green onions. All the curry dishes were just plain bad. Campbell's chunky chicken Thai tastes much better than any of the red curry dishes that they had. The beef bulgogi was decent tasting and the "general chicken" definitely had no Tao in it but it's wasn't bad. At the final straw was that it is 24 bucks plus tax for dinner. Just not worth it.

I ordered the hot and sour soup, sushi and the crab Rangoons. The sushi was good. The soup had a strong miso flavour. And the crab Rangoons were salty...too salty, would not recommend anyone consume that much salt. Could not taste anything else just salt. Overall the Rangoons made the experience a poor one.

The place is still a filthy pit, just as it was before it changed over to Trenton Sushi. As is typical with some Asian cultures (I am sure a few will be offended here), the service is pretty bad. A couple of staff are attentive and friendly, and others are completely clueless. We sat with stacks of dirty dishes on our table for ages. We watched the staff walk by and by again, empty handed and oblivious. When I finally called someone over and asked her to take some of the dishes away, she looked at us blankly, then realized there were piles of dishes in front of her. Seems trivial, maybe, but who wants to sit and look at that for half an hour after eating? The food: mediocre at best. The local yokels (probably more offensiveness here) have no idea what good sushi is, therefore they rave about this place. If you are like us, and have had decent (not even talking great!) sushi throughout your dining history, this food is pretty bad. Just to mention one thing, every shrimp we got had a giant, black digestive tract in it. An easy (and proper) thing to fix by deveining when cleaning the shrimp. Japanese food is supposed to be delicate and classy, with a lot of attention to detail, etc. It was pretty nasty. One last thing: my guts were bad for 2 days after. That always happens to me when I eat bad quality Asian food. My guts never lie. I realize this is a harsh review, but I sure wish I had read one like this before driving all that way, and paying $55 for 2 people, and being chained to the toilet for 2 days afterward...Just sayin'

We ordered from the on line menu. 3 items. 2 at 10.95 and one at 4.95. Went to pick up and it was 39.95. He sa it they changed there prices. 15$ mor is a little much. I just moved here and will never go back. Big thumbs down. That and the food was terrible. Don't waste ur money. I hope to see the doors close

Have been several times. Decent price, they have an iPad ordering system. However, almost always end up getting something we didn't order. Staff are very friendly and the sushi is pretty good. Have had better at other locations but it's not terrible. Music is always different every time and can be interesting to see what will be on when we go there.

8:30 on a Tuesday night. High tempo Rave music playing. Best part of the meal, sad to say, was the seaweed salad and beef skewers. The sushi pieces were huge in size but mainly due to them being overloaded with rice. The rice was soft & mushy (not typical of sushi). Food quality is poor for the price they charge ($25.95). IMO, Dragon Rolls has a wider variety & better quality food for a couple more bucks.

This review applies to the "all you can eat". Last 3 times I've been here with a group (we had reserved all 3 times) I did not get what I ordered. The last time, I did not get a SINGLE PIECE OF SUSHI from my large order. The two groups next to mine also didn't get most of their order. Actually, the last time, I stayed for longer until a waiter told me to "order what you didn't get, we'll rush your order". I ordered again and they still "forgot" two maki rolls and a few pieces of nigiri. Unfortunate since their sushi was better than the other sushi place in town (in my opinion). Take out is probably ok but do NOT come to this "all you can eat"

Probably a better idea to go into Belleville if you're really craving sushi. Don't know what happened, but this time the rice was soft and mushy without any flavor. 90% of the sushi as well. Everything else is sort of alright. The handroll probably has the most fish to rice ratio, it's actually packed all the way to the bottom unlike some places that just put fish at the top.

Went to eat lunch here, the sushi rolls were warm and very unappetizing. The fish inside the rolls were warm and not chilled and the rice and avocado inside were mushy. The sesame chicken was so dry I couldn’t even swallow it. All and all the food so was gross I couldn’t even finish any of my dishes. Will never come back here again.

Loses a star because it's not the world's greatest ambiance, and not as much selection as other places, but only on the non-sushi items. Quiet atmosphere, good food and fast service. The tablet ordering system is completely hassle free and pretty much eliminates order mix ups or discrepancies that paper orders have. The price is under what I'd expect for the quality of food. It's not the best sushi I've had, but it's good and I can't argue with the price. The portions are perfect size and I quite like the variety of rolls they offer. As well, the staff are nice and welcoming. I really can't complain about anything.

The best example of a sushi / Asian buffet yet! What you get for the price cannot be beaten anywhere. The quality is excellent to boot, everything made to order! The spicy Korean beef was exactly as I remember having while working in Korea. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere. This is now my go-to when in Trenton.

Food wasnt bad, not an overly large selection, getting refills on drinks was overly slow and getting the food items were slow as well and some food items didnt arrive.

At times it was over 25 minutes to get your food and the breaded chicken was terrible , it was cooked to long and was hard.

Disappointing meal today. We've been coming here for almost 4 years and have always loved the ayce. Today however the sushi pizza was served extremely cold (should have been freshly deep fried), the scallops had an awful texture, we were served multiple rolls that were either made wrong, not ordered or not made as described in the menu. Everything was bland and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. It's almost like they didn't have their real chef and were trying to make it work, or they've unfortunately changed chefs and it's no longer up to their previous standards. Either way it was quite disappointing and I'd think twice about making the drive here from Kingston.

I love this restaurant! Amazing food and great value! I have brought many friends here and we have always been overwhelmed by the level of service. Food is incredibly well done and tastes delicious!!! Staff are super friendly as well!
