This is a wonderful cafe. They always have great lunch specials, the breakfasts are really good (love that you can grab your own coffee) and the staff is really friendly. A few weeks ago I was in with my 5 yr old and one of the gentlemen preparing her sandwich came to our table and asked her what she wanted on it... I was impressed at how friendly and caring that you enjoy your meal the staff is. They are also a business giving back to the community which is amazing. I've eaten here with family, friends, and coworkers and enjoyed it every time.

Quick and fresh during a workday lunch. Got our meal within 5-10 minutes. Both sandwiches and soup were tasty and made fresh and service was attentive throughout. Soups are 5-7$ and sandwiches from 5-12$ depending on type with selection available for breads, cheese and such.

I went here for lunch and ordered a sandwich and soup. I ate the soup first which was really amazing. Then I got to the sandwich where I found 3 different long blonde hairs.... when i brought it to the servers attention she got me a new sandwich. Which i tried to eat but found it wasnt very good and I was already pretty grossed out. Then when I went to pay they charged me full price for everything, no discount or comped meal for how gross the situation was... one small hair, not ok but it happens, 3 huge long hairs that I could see when I picked up the sandwich ... not even close to acceptable. I wouldnt go back to this place.

The charcuterie board was very nice however the star of the show was the homemade lumpia spring rolls! They were excellent! We also had a nice salad with berries in it. The back patio had a good view of the river and we were allowed to bring our dog.

The staff was amazing and so accommodating. We needed to eat out on the patio but the staff brought a heater out and the owner Connie brought blankets . So kind ! The food was top shelf. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

A MUST go-to restaurant in Trenton. The food and service are impeccable and the waterfront lol cation is a bonus. We have tried most of the menu items and have always been extremely pleased. Owners, husband and wife, Rauole and Connie, as well as all their staff, go out of their way to make each dining experience memorable.

My hubby and I came here the other day for a bite to eat while running errands. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and presented exceptional customer service! I ordered the Special which was a summer salad loaded with fruit and chicken! It was delicious! It was services with a homemade raspberry(?) vinegarette ; but I found the salad delicious just on its own! I couldn’t stop telling my husband how delicious it was while I was eating it! My hubby ordered a BLT , which had freshly cooked chicken on it! It was mouth watering! I would definitely recommend the RiverBrake! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Traveling through Ontario we dropped in this cute bistro. They offered indoor and outdoor riverfront seating, Full menu sandwiches and hot meals apps and desserts. We had Bruchetta with Feta, Lumpia, Longanisa and the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich. Everything was wonderful. It was very clean and it seems to be family owned and everyone was friendly and helpful.

After touring Prince Edward County wineries and heading back home we were looking for a place for lunch and stopped in Trenton. After checking out a couple of restaurants on Front Street we came across the Riverbrake Cafe. It was after the lunch hour so we were the only ones at the restaurant. When we walked in we were greeted by the owners and you could immediately see that they take great pride in their establishment. The kitchen and seating area were very clean and organized. Their menu had quite a variety of options and reasonably priced. We both had the grilled chicken club sandwich and I had a side of garden salad. Food was fresh, prepared from scratch and delicious! Trenton is very lucky to have the Riverbrake Cafe and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
