I commend the owner for making the switch to his own business and I recommend these subs to anyone over Subway. A few weeks ago we planned to have our VW cruise stop at Little Masters for lunch. The owner was very accommodating to us and happy to see all the cars. He made sure to have help with the checkout to speed up the process and did an excellent job getting us our subs quickly. The subs here are sooo good and puts Subway to shame. The bread is always fresh and the ingredients used are very tasty. Check out Little Masters when in Trenton, highly recommended!

My experiences in the past with Subway in the local area are brutal....just simply awful. I had lost my taste for subs until I visited this local business recently.....OMG!! Simply amazing....the subs were very delicious, lots of meat, veggies AND variety!! To top it off, the bread was so fresh and tasty; especially the Greek Parmesan....you really do have to try it!! The special the owner has in the afternoons every day makes it even more incredible....take advantage of that and took a number of subs to work....they loved it!! People couldn't believe how truly delicious they were.....every single person were hooked on the first bite!! This place is definitely worth every penny to stop by!!

Wow!!!! What a hidden gem of a sub shop. The operation is first class. Very clean and bright. Great assortment of fresh products. Excellent portions and the sub bread was incredibly fresh. The owner is very personable and loves to share his story of setting up operation here. My wife and I miss having a favourite sub sandwich place after having moved recently. I checked things out while my wife was out of town, and now Trenton is our local big town for things, and Little Master’s is right there. This will be my new go to sub shop. I’ll be back.

When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the selection. However, two of the subs that I was interested in (noon on a Wednesday), were out. The gentleman behind the counter suggested the butter chicken. While I would not consider the flavour to be reminiscent of butter chicken, I was pleased that the chicken wasn't just sliced meat. He was very nice. This would be a four star, had the restaurant been cleaner. It was messy. I did not feel comfortable ordering or paying. The payment terminal was dirty with no clear indication of whether it had been cleaned recently. Behind the counter was messy and looked completely unsanitary. The subs were packed full, which I fully appreciate, however, we were given no napkins,which made for a mess afterward. I really hope that these concerns are addressed, as I would love to support smaller businesses over chains. Will happily change this review, should I return in the future after things perhaps improve. The prices are very reasonable.

Subs here are way better than what you get at subway. On the premium subs they use real meat that has flavour not sliced lunch meats. Great choices of specialty subs. I also like the fact that they have a sub card for a free sub. I will keep going here for lunch over subway.

Ordered a turkey bacon sub from this place for the very first time. Cheese slice was hanging out of the refrigerated part of the counter, "gentleman" (using this term very loosely) behind the counter just flopped the piece of cheese back into the spot, then tried to use it on my sub. I asked him to use a different piece of cheese, as who knows how long that piece had been sitting out of refrigeration (the restaurant is very hot and stuffy). He literally went "pfft", rolled his eyes, and then told me he cannot say anything to me because he is behind the counter. He then cashed me out, proceeded to tell me how "rude" I was, and made racist remarks stating that if I was worried about cheese being out of refrigeration I should be worried about the 1.4 billion chinese people? Like one has something to do with another. I asked him to refund my sub and he refused to give me my money back. Also, meat is not sliced fresh daily like the owner has replied in previous reviews. He went into the back and pulled out a prepackaged hunk of sliced ham and threw it into the counter.

I'm sorry, but how does this place have so many 5 star reviews? I almost feel bad for ripping on this place so hard, but what the heck is going on here? It's probably one of the worst establishments I've ever been in. As soon as you get through the door, you'll notice that the interior looks depressing and dirty. We decided to take our food to go because the atmosphere was just awful. It took SO unbelievably long to make two 6" subs. We were the only people in there. The man serving us (I think he's the owner) was incredibly slow and not very personable. I don't mind waiting a bit, but the dude doesn't know how to multitask at all, so everything just takes unnecessarily long. There was another employee standing behind the counter doing nothing the whole time. Maybe if he took a second to help, it wouldn't have taken us 20 minutes to get our food. The subs themselves were below average. The owner gave me way less cheese on my sub than my boyfriends for some reason. The veggies were fresh and the bread was okay, but the sauce tasted awful and the meat was just crappy sandwhich meat. My sub was cold by the time he finished both our subs and rang us up, so it was kinda gross by the time I got to eat it. Overall I felt dirty after being there and it took 3x longer to get the sub than it did to eat it. I've been to this location while it was still Mr. Sub too (same owner as now) and it was just as bad. Prices are reasonable but no better than Subway. Honestly just go to Subway. Way faster and tastier, and you don't feel like you want to lay down and die as soon as you walk in the door. No idea how this place has been open for so long with this owner. Also the owner wrote a 5 star review for his own business on Google and just advertised his store in it. That's pretty deceptive.

This is the best subs in the Quinte area. All ingrediants are always fresh. Subs are loaded with meat and lots of real bacon. Always has great deals. I only go to Little Masters. Went in their last week as they have a special 3 subs for $20.00 before 5. Not just your basic subs but real subs which include bacon. The owner was super friendly and helped me select a sub. When I took these home my kids were surprised, these were not the subway subs we normally get. So they were presently surprised by the taste and quality of these subs. If you are looking for subs that are fresh and delicious this should be your new sub shop.

I have always been a Mr. Submarine supporter up to now. Tonight I had a sub from Little Masters Sub in Trenton and it was amazing. It was so fresh and flavorfull. So disgusting!!!! Took 45 minutes in line just for 2 12" subs. The bacon they used was regular bacon they micowaved for 10 seconds. Was raw and made us sick. Will never buy from here again. My boyfriend and i love little masters. The owner and his family are so sweet and so kind. Not only do they car about their food and their service to their customers they actually care about each individual customer. They always ask how the kids are. They always make sure to take extra care in making their food. And they do everything to make your stay as enjoyable and homey as possible. Discovering this independent sub shop was awesome. We will be back. The owner also has plans to add to his menu in the near future. And several dollars less then the big chain. And he delivers as well. Tip: add bacon. Only sub shop I've seen with real thick slices bacon. Who doesn't love bacon ?? Keep up the great work. We will see you again soon.

After repeated bad experiences at Subway, I'm so happy to have found this sub shop! I've only had good experiences here so far. The first time I went in, it was near closing and the employee chopped a fresh tomato for me despite the time which really stood out to me as great service.
