Tried the food for the first time today. We had a smothered beef burrito and a regular beef burrito. Very good! Def will recommend. The only regret is i did not order the poutine! Thank you to a very polite young man at the cash and to all the staff in the kitchen!

Just got two burritos, one veggie, one beef, both "smothered". Honestly to die for. Burritos were jam packed with all kinds of goodness. Got a side of fries as well and the dipping sauce was just ????????. Will absolutely be going back for our "Saturday morning cure".

We just moved into the area and stumbled across Kick Canteen while out with the kids and we're lucky we did. We split a beef burrito and it was amazing - made us regret not getting one each. The kids had a quesadilla and wanted to go right back for another. It was our first time but most definitely will not be out last.

Tried again today April 17th. Smothered chicken, smothered pork and beef Kick salad. The description said no rice or beans in salad, half the salad was rice and beans. I wanted a lighter, more diabetic friendly option, that was not what I received. As with my initial visit the rice still had no taste. I had hoped they would have improved, but sadly, so far they have not.

Being new to the area, I was/am looking for places to check out. Being recently referred to try out Kick Canteen was an amazing find. I grabbed their beef poutine and me and my lady enjoyed it thoroughly. Great flavors and a good portion for a fair price. The owner/employees are super friendly and personable. Easy conversation and a great meal will definitely have me coming back to this spot again in the near future. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to grab a quick bite to eat.

Amazing. Ordered the pulled pork poutine and the beef burrito. The poutine was phenomenal with lots of good flavours. The way the pork sauce hits with the gravy is perfection. The beef burrito was great as well. Great blend of ingredients and was spiced well. Glad I am so close to this place. Must try if you're in the area.

(Translated) It was a delight !! Best taste stop on our route. We come from Quebec where we can boast of making THE poutine, Ontario has just caught up with us with its delicious chicken poutine. Nice place too ... too bad we were able to eat there (COVID requires) but it will certainly be a mandatory stop for years to come! (Original) Ce fut un délice!! Meilleur arrêt gustatif sur notre route. Nous venons du Québec où on peut se vanter de faire LA poutine, l’Ontario vient de nous rattraper avec sa délicieuse poutine au poulet. Bel endroit en plus… dommage qu’on ait pu y manger (COVID oblige) mais ce sera assurément un arrêt obligatoire pour les années futures!

SO FLIPPING GOOOOOD! I have had a chicken burrito, a beef burrito and a chicken quasadilla and they were all DELICIOUS! Always fresh, fries are tastey and their secret sauce for fries is stellar! If I could give 6 stars I would! Price is a little high BUT for the quality of food you are getting it is worth every cent! Definitely reccomend if you are making your way through or are a resident of the quinte area!

Had the southwest bowl - OMG. Amazing! Also tried chili - outstanding. Lime rice is homemade and delicious. I only wish it was in Belleville so I could eat there more regularly. Trenton is lucky to have such a fantastic place!

My husband and I really enjoy the food here. Even their veggie meals are fabulous. The only constructive criticism I can give is there is always a little too much cheese curds in the Poutine. Other than that the food is awesome!

Very clean and very fast. Ideal for people who are sick of the same old takeout. I found the green sauce for the smothered burrito a little too salty. The house dressing on the salad was absolutely perfect.I would have liked a bigger side salad. Next time I will upgrade and get dressing on the side.The in house guacamole is very, very yummy. Nice to see a small business trying to make it during this time. My hat's off to you. Highly recommended ????

What a treat! The menu is big enough to offer variety, but just the right size as to not overwhelm, and to focus on flavor. Ordered the pulled pork bowl, and a side of fries. We were able to customize the burrito bowl to accomodate gluten free. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is the perfect weekday lunch spot, and weekend takeout location. Portions are very satisfying, and just the right amount of sauce - not dry! A GC would also be a great stocking stuffer!

Lovely staff who are very generous and accommodating. The inside of the restaurant was clean and open. The portions were massive and food was delicious. We had a salad and a bowl. The only recommendation I would give and probably it’s a personal preference is go slightly lighter on the sauce since the food tastes great already. But overall definitely nothing to complain and a great place worth checking out!

We’ve been to Kick Canteen multiple times and the food is AMAZING. Always fresh, consistently massive portion sizes, and friendly staff. The food food tastes amazing and is priced very fairly! Typically not one to leave reviews, but I am obsessed with the smothered burrito. Everyone in the Quinte area needs to try this place at least once!

First time going to this restaurant and definitely not the last. Walked in with my wife who is currently 7 months pregnant and has had a rough time finding any food that taste good lately. We were greeted by friendly staff, who gave us the tour of the menu and offered any answers to questions. While we took a long time deciding what to get, since everything on the menu looked so good and the whole place smelt like heaven cooking in the background. A regular customer started praising the place and suggesting items we should try. We ended up getting the chicken poutine and the chicken salad. My wife finished her salad in record time ,while rolling her eyes and making mhmm sounds lol its fair to say she loved it. I've had many poutines in my life including mtl ones, this one is up there. Loads of chicken and cheese curds and nice spices. Also there was a line up outside of the door, so we told them we'll wait outside so others can order. We thought it would take longer ,so decided to wait in the car. They even came out and handed us our order. Great customer service, amazing food. Well done Kicks, 5 stars ???? all around. If your in the area, do your self a favor and go here. Thank me later.Don't forgot to follow me for more hidden gems around the city.

We are thrilled to welcome the newly opened Kicks to our neighbourhood. I tried the Beef Birria (smothered in cheese/red sauce) with a tasty side salad. Very generous serving, stuffed with amazing beef/rice/beans/cheese and more! My husband's hand-held Chicken burrito was equally delicious and I think he was wishing he had smothered style as the sauce was perfectly spiced for him. I'd be happy it had more of a KICK, but hey, I can always add more hot sauce at home. Looking forward to returning soon.
