After two meals here I can confidently say this is one of the best take out meals I've had since being in the Trenton region. Not just Korean, or even "Asian". This food is simply delicious. The price is reasonable and the folks who run the place are very helpful to an ordering ignoramous like me. Love this place. Gogi, you have a new fan.

This was the perfect way to start eating at a restaurant. Unfortunately for them, the patio was empty, but for us that was a big plus. Great beef Gyoza as an appetizer. Crispy, flavorful and they gave us an extra one as we were splitting one appetizer. Bulgogi soup, rice cakes were cooked to perfection, the beef was tasty, glass noodles hold the flavour, cooked perfectly. It had slightly more pepper than we're used to. Regardless, it was GREAT! Good portioning. Very filling. Unagi (eel) dish was the best we've ever had, bar none. It was light and flaky. The sauce was smoky and sweet. Lots of eel and rice. Satisfying portion. Even though we live 4 hours away, we will be back!!!

Tonight was the second time having Gogi Korean BBQ, and my tummy is SO happy. We went on their third day open and ordered nearly everything between four of us, and everything hit the mark. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Tonight we got takeout and were not disappointed. It was ready for the time we requested, and it was hot/delicious/perfect. The prices are also reasonable for everything you get. Our community needed this!I already can't wait to go back!

Bad owner spilled coffee all over my private parts burnt me did nothing about it supposed to detail my car there was coffee all over the seats and floor he did nothing about it I had to pay almost $300 to get it clean you don't want to go there if something happens cuz they will do nothing to help you????

I have been coming here since they opened and I must say all the dishes on their menu are delicious. My go to is Gangpungi (fried chicken) and Katsu (pork cutlet). The owners are expremely polite and provide a great service everytime I highly recommend coming here if you haven't!!

Amazing. I was very excited to see a Korean restaurant open in town as I am obsessed with Korean food. Make sure to head in on Tuesday or Wednesday for the Gamjatang, an expertly spiced soup made with pork spine. I have eaten a lot of Gamjatang and this place competes with the best of them. I fully recommend this place for anyone looking for an exciting meal.

I grew up in Trenton and Gogi Korean Grill has got to be one of the most delicious and culturally unique restaurants to set up shop in recent years. Ordered the korean pancake with kimchi and the gamjatang (Pork bone broth). The pancake was alright if a bit small. The gamjatang wasn't really spicy and there weren't any potatoes in my serving. The price is a bit high, but fairly reasonable.

It looks like I won't be saying anything that new. This place is great. Staff are friendly and when I got bit by a bee while dining (obviously not their fault) they went above and beyond to get me an ice pack. Food is hot and fresh -- I had the gyoza and chicken katsu. Will definitely return and obviously I recommend :)

Where do I go with this? Fantastic little hide away with awesome food, a wonderful local assortment of beer and wine and caring owners on site. Atmosphere is brilliant. Car and people watching from the patio, but enough coverage so you can still talk. Super friendly staff/owners on site. Happy to help and answer questions. I had the Pork Ramen. The broth was silky with deep and rich flavour. The boiled egg was superb, sweet with a dark band of soy and perfectly cooked. Pork has a nutmeg? Note that really stood out in a complimentary way. Never tasted that before! Kimchi Gyoza are stellar. Huge umami, crispy shell and not too sweet sauce. Get here. EAT THIS!

Agree with most reviewers that this is a good Korean place to try. First time tried the Goyza, Bulgogi and Tangsuyuk. The first two were very tasty. The Tangsuyuk was not crispy but rather very chewy, similar to eating gum. Will be back, however, to try other dishes.

First time here and was blown away by the excellent service and amazing authentic food. We both got the bibimbap dolsot hot rice bowl, and the rice was perfectly crisping in the bowl. Hot and fresh gyoza was great. The server kept bringing more kimchi and pickles, which were all so good too! 10/10, will return and recommend to friends and family!

For our first time trying Gogi, we shared about eight different dishes at a birthday dinner where a family member had requested “Chinese Food.” I’m so glad that we were able to convince our family that they would like Korean food just as much! They couldn’t stop raving about how good everything was. My favourites were the short ribs and the bulgogi, but I can’t wait to go back and try the ramen when we are in the mood for soup. Excellent little Korean restaurant. - Service was excellent: We were in an out for lunch in roughly 40 minutes, and our server was very courteous and prompt. - Food was delicious: You can taste that the food is all quite real, and that there was care in preparing it. Even presentation is good, which indicates to me that they care. The food was a high point of my visit. - Price is about as good as you can get: Prices range from ~10 to ~16 dollars, and for the prices I received better quantity and quality than I would have expected. That's competing with some of the cheapest fast food meals you can get, and I was given a good large plate of hand made delicious food, so that's great value. Give it a try. They've got a new regular with me.

I had the pork ramen and the shrimp tempura. Tempura was perfectly cooked. Kimchi, miso soup, and radish on the side was great. Ramen was full of flavour, the pork was seasoned great and was tender. Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. It was absolutely Amazing! We had multiple dishes, including Korean tacos, kalbi, Kimchi pancake, ttukbaegi bulgogi, and gangpungi. There wasn't one disappointing item. The takuan was perfect. The gyoza was fantastic. The person behind the counter was super friendly and funny. Seriously, you should eat here!

(Translated) A perfect experience. We made our reservation the week before. We were told to call the same day to get a seat on the patio. The reception on the phone was as radiant as it was in person (energetic and kind throughout the evening) We arrived at 5.30 p.m. and left at 6.30 p.m. (fast and efficient service with a smile) We were treated to a very well balanced little miso soup with marinated vegetables and very fresh kimchi. We ate crispy gyozas with a little sauce and the Korean pancake but then even better than in Korea. Let's not talk about the Kalbis which were just sumptuous, be careful if you are very greedy take two ???? (the portion is already generous but it's so good!) When the bibimpap, just impeccable or almost (very slightly overcooked egg, but I must say that I prefer it raw.) In any case, don't hesitate, it's worth the detour! (Original) Une expérience parfaite. Nous avons fait notre réservation la semaine d’avant. On nous a dit d’appeler le jour même pour avoir une place sur la terrasse. L’acceuil au téléphone fut aussi radieux qu’en personne (énergique et aimable tout le long de la soirée) Nous sommes arrivée à 17h30 et reparti pour 18h30 (service rapide et efficace avec le sourire) On a eu le droit à une petite soupe miso très bien équilibré avec des légumes marinés et du kimchi bien frais. Nous avons mangé des gyozas croustillant à souhait avec une petite sauce et le pancake Korèen mais alors encore meilleur qu’en Corée. Ne parlons pas des Kalbis qui était juste somptueux, attention si vous êtes très gourmand prenez en deux ???? (la portion est déjà généreuse mais c’est tellement bon !) Gogi Korean Grill has a unique vintageish style on the outside and inside. Their food is cooked very well, fast service I would say and their staff is friendly especially when I had to order via phone call. Over all the restaurant looks neat, and would probably be a nice area to go to once the lockdown is over.

Outstanding Korean food for the area, the Dolsot Bibim bop even comes in a proper hot stone bowl, but the spicy pork is defiantly my favour. The restaurant is clean and looks nice on the inside. Korean here giving a review. I ordered Kimchi Chiggae, Bulgogi, and Tangsuyuk. I must say I was quite impressed with the quality and taste of all of them. Food tasted authentic and I could tell the chef put a lot of effort to cook it properly with detail. Typically restaurants have one or two dish they are great at, so I was pleasantly surprised that all three of them were amazing. Hats off to the Mama chef. Overall, quite happy to see a real Korean restaurant open up in the area. Oh and there's a nice patio for those concerned. One watch out is that the place was quite busy when I visited on Tuesday dinner time (understandably since the food is that great). So you might have to wait a bit for your food. Recommend! 여기서 안 먹어봤으면 꼭 먹어보세요! Update: came back and tried dumplings, Korean kimchi pancake, dolsot bibimbap, and gamjatang (pork bone soup). All superb !!

Ordered Vegetable Gyoza, Chicken Bulgogi and Gangpungi. Everything was delicious. Gyoza were crunchy/crispy/savoury. Bulgogi was incredibly tender and flavourful. Gangpungi was amazing. Good portion size, great price. Staff seems extremely nice and polite and will eventually recognize you and remember your orders. Gogi is now one of my go-tos.

My new favourite restaurant in Trenton. Can't recommend highly enough. I've had half the menu at this point and enjoyed each and every dish except the sweet and sour chicken. Fresh, large, hot and well priced food. Amazing miso soup, yummy kimchi. Great flavour on all their dishes. I can't comment on the authenticity or anything of that nature because I honestly don't know. Quick service and food comes out fast. Perfect for a quick lunch or nice dinner. If you live in Trenton and haven't given this place a shot you are missing out!

They do the take-out only thing all restaurants are doing right now, so naturally I was a bit skeptical of how take-out pork ramen would be. Amazing, is how it turned out. I have since been back 4 times to try out the different menu items. Love the place, give this one a try if you’re looking for some authentic Korean food

This restaurant is unreal!! The owner is simply the BEST, and the food is beyond incredible. We've tried at least 20 different dishes and everything is fabulous. The spicy pork and the gangpungi are the best I've ever eaten.

I regularly visit the area from Toronto and I can say this place is better than some of the joints you find in Toronto. We got the gamjatang and the dolsot bap. Both were fantastic. Nice to finally have an authentic Korean restaurant in the area. Highly recommended!

Honestly the cleaning most fulfilling Korean restaurant I have been to. They use lots of ingredients and not only that but they taste better than most Korean restaurants in Toronto Ive tried. Youll never get the variety and authenticity of the ingredients anywhere else.

Honestly one of the best Korean restaurants I've ever eaten at. The Unagi dish is extremely delicious, perfect combination of sweet and savory. Best eel dish we've ever had. The bulgogi soup was a bit more pepery than I'm used to but incredible none the less. The glass noodles and rice cakes were cooked to perfection, rhe soup was smooth and lovely. We had the beef Gyoza and honestly very tasty, the gentleman was kind enough to make it an even number to share between 2. Definitely comming here again. 10/10 would highly recommend dining here.

Absolutely delicious everytime we go, highly recommend the bulgogi and anything with beef. It's so good everytime we come to town we stop in and have to eat here. My partner said he's never had such good pork tacos. The service is always so polite and its family ran. Can't wait to eat here again soon:)

Such a wonderful restaurant with great staff and delicious food! We had the gyoza (best I've ever had) and edamame to start, and had the beef Korean tacos, chicken bulgogoi and ramen and wow we were stuffed and satisfied by the end. Thank you for a lovely lunch!
