The service is extremely slow. The coffee was lukewarm, had the viscosity of a distilled water and the flavor of an english tea. The food was under-cooked and again lukewarm. The friendly nature of the staff is the one redeeming quality.

Breakfast special for $7.95 through the week is the way to go. 3 eggs, choice of meat, toast and starch. Coffee included. Great spot with cozy atmosphere and a country vibe.

I ordered eggs Mexicana. I was served a burnt english muffin and cold, mushy homefries. The server didn't smile until I was paying. She did not ask me how everything was, I'm sure because she knew it was aweful. I won't be back.

Friendly service, but nothing overwhelming about the food. Pretty standard breakfast fare. Had to ask for our toast, iced tea and syrup, because they kept forgetting. There is a family bathroom but no changing table (???).

I won't be able to taste this soup,that I ordered however Beth was the sweetest lady to try and help me in my mission. My family is sick in Trenton while we live out of town. Beth was kind and courteous. So much so that she decided to hand deliver Chicken,vegetable soup to our family! Great service!

The customer service was amazing. As soon as we stepped in, we were told immediately that there would be a wait because every table was full. Our expectations were set right from the beginning which we appreciated. As soon as a table became available, it was wiped down as quick as possible. The food was great, good portion sizes and super friendly staff, I would definitely recommend this place.

Went for breakfast with some work colleagues. I skip breakfast most days, it's my least favourite meal. This was very good however. Service was friendly and attentive. Tried some kind of skillet meal. It was very tasty. Prices are reasonable. I consider this a solid option if I were to go for breakfast in the future.

I use to go here regularly when I worked in Trenton. Its a great dinner. Friendly staff, family owned and run. I recommend the Dapps special burger, its messy but my favorite burger in the area.

Great service, great coffee, warm atmosphere best eggs Benny I have ever had. I left a $12 on a $13 meal. Very busy, only had to wait 7ish minutes for a table but would gladly wait a half hour.

We visit Trenton often but this was our first time at Dapp's. It was packed but the staff didn't let that deter them from providing exemplary service. Our food arrived quick, hot and delicious! Will be a definite place for us to enjoy again!!

Wasn't very pleased at all! Small amount of food for over $11. Home fries were boiled potatoes and barely fried. Small slices of bacon. For the price I wasn't impressed. Sorry but my take. The star is because the lady serving was nice.

Really love the atmosphere! Staff is super friendly and polite, welcomed us the moment we walked in the door! Food came fast and hot BUT fell just a little short of expectations. I had the pigs in a blanket, muddy (chocolate chips in my pancakes) and it was good but there was way more pancake than there was sausage which threw it off and made the portion bigger than I could handle. Still really great and i do suggest you try 'em out. The decor alone is worth the trip. Loved how chaotic and homey it felt.. then again we were sitting next to a PEI liscense plate.

Great food and super friendly atmosphere. The price is amazing and you get a lot of food. Right now they have a old fashioned drive-in service instead of indoor dining. I was pleasantly surprised by this service. The food came on an old style tray that can hook onto the car. Once you are done, they take everything away. It was fast and efficient. We would definitely do it again. It was fun to do something different like that. Thanks Dapps!

When reviewing a restaurant I would generally talk about the food first, but the service here really is incredible; and deserving of the first mention. The food itself is good. Bacon was cooked expertly; the rye toast was delcious; the eggs, sausage, and ham were really well done. Pancakes, and home fries were average (at best). Definitely worth a stop if you're seeking a classic diner breakfast.

I attended dapps! Greeted by an enthusiastic employee! Checking vaccine status at door! Just a little more work added to an already busy work atmosphere. Getting people in and sitting is just the beginning! Take the orders deliver the orders clean behind the patrons and accept new patrons consistently. All while abiding to covid policies! This place is opererating like a well oiled machine! Staff most welcoming! Courteous and prompt service. Breakfast special was delicious! Place was packed food was hot coffee was hot with a free refill thank you! To Beth and Amanda thank you! For the service I’ll be back Monday!!! Thanks for keeping us safe while we dine in!

An inconspicuous gem in Trenton!! The food was great, the prices were excellent and the hospitality was fantastic!! Our waitress, Amanda, joked and laughed with us, and we were made to feel very welcome, as out-of-towners! Next time in Trenton, Dapps will be on the itinerary!!

Was the best place for breakfast, I'm not sure what happened but the last few visits the quality of the cooking is getting worse, pancakes were gooey, home fries not fully cooked, bacon like rubber. This will no longer be our breakfast place.

Firstly... The staff is great. But in my experience the food is not so great. The coffee threw me off at the start. It was not very good at all. I ordered a Monte Cristo (what?!? They sell those here?!?!) I was so excited! When it arrived I was so sad; A couple of pieces of sandwhich meat between 2 pieces of bread with only one side having been put in the egg bath. The cheese was over the top considering the fact that there was really no egg or meat on the sandwhich. I also paid an extra 2.99 for like 10 (undercooked) chunks of potatoes. Overall, myself and my party was very underwhelmed. Again.. Great service.. But the food was disappointing. Coffee- 1/5 Monte Cristo- 1/5 Potatoes- small portion and under cooked 1/5 Overall portion- small Price vs Value- not good Won't be returning... :(
