Beautiful restaurant/decor in an otherwise very drab mall, its quite the surprise. Walking into this place from inside Eaton centre feels magical, as if you have walked into a completely different country/place. Otherwise the food is alright, decent Italian fare, good but not mind blowing. The pizzas are definitely worth trying. Waitresses and the staff are very friendly and kind. It's great place to take your family and or visitors because of the location.

Good place for a quick bite to eat between shopping rounds. Fast, efficient, nothing amazing.

Clara Ho

Good food, nice staff. We did not have a reservation and were looking for a place to eat spontaniously. The staff arranged a table for us without long wait. Any time again

We went here after doing errands. Great place. We sat outside at the patio. Not so busy. Service is fast and friendly staffs. I ordered the Roman mule and Linguine di mare and tiramisu for dessert. Didn't like the pasta much but we all have different taste. Overall, I would still recommend!

Delicious food with fair prices! Our waiter was amazing, extremely accommodating for certain dietary restrictions (dairy allergy) as well which I appreciated loads, especially considering that it was an Italian restaurant, meaning lots of cheese and milk in everything. He recommended the seafood pasta dish to me, and made sure to mention my dairy allergy to the chef. It was delicious! Extremely fresh and flavourful. The portion as well was perfect, enough to fill me up but not enough to make me feel sick after eating. Overall, an extremely positive experience and I can’t wait to come back! Thanks to much Trattoria Mercatto :)

This establishment as every restaurant of Mercatto’s chain has a cool atmosphere!! Second floor has a great view, especially now (Christmas time)! Go there after sunset & enjoy the light!!) Someone did a good job with dinging good staff, which is really friendly & trained well! Food is solid 4 stars! But the prices seems high!

Came here during work break with my boyfriend. I ordered the bolognese pasta, and he ordered the 4 cheese pizza. The food came fast and it was super fresh. My pasta looked a bit small in quantity but there was a lot of meat sauce, kind of wish there was more pasta though (it’s not that expensive?). The pasta was cooked perfectly though. The pizza tasted really good and was quite larger than expected.

I had the Linguine Di Mare it was exceptional, very fresh and light tasted great. Service was decent as well. Will come again.

Flavourful Italian deliciousness! Great service!

Italian restaurant - the menu is too compact with no alteration, half of the menu has words which are not simple to understand. I am giving 2 stars just for Pepperoni Pizza & Fries. Rest we ordered Caesar drink which was too sour and not too spicy, Mushroom Pizza, Gnocchi pasta (which i asked the waitress what actually it is she said its penne pasta & when it came it was big chunks of pasta in tomato sauce with different type of cheese). No doubt the fries were good crisp. I can adjust to my taste pallet, that's not the issue. but what happened during billing was terrible. The waitress gave the tab machine to pay, and one of my friends didn't pay the tip which is the legal right of ones, the waitress made an issue out of . Though the ambience of the place was nice but the service was okay, nobody came to ask how the food was, nobody came for refill or if we wanted anything else, nobody came when we finished, so I called myself for a bill. Anyways if we sat there and ate for almost 100$ then we have money to tip but if somebody doesn't want to do it one choice we regret that two of us paid 10% of the bill. It's the experience I had that might be a bad night for us but I would request the staff not behave in such a manner in return to get more tip LOL. Thank you.

Compact menu, delicious food, good selection of drinks. It is hidden behind the Eaton Centre so it is not too busy. Recommended.

Quick stop at the mall, ordered a locally brewed beer. The server is awesome, offered water at seating. Cozy and comfy atmosphere. The Italian food menu looks good. Pizza smells even better. Still gotta try the Food here.

María José Perabeles

The food is super, it was a great experience dining here. Their lemon olive cake is brilliant! Highly recommend! Aidan was very nice.

Mike Kushnir

This restaurant has a very chic and charming ambiance. Service was quick and super friendly. Prices are affordable. However, the food was disappointing. The Calamari Fritii had a strong breadcrumb flavour. The Linguine di Mare came with very little sauce, which was bland and topped with cheap tasting Pangrattato. The Flat Iron Steak was served with with a watery red wine jus. Probably the most flavourful item, was the tiramisu, but I’ve had way better elsewhere. Overall, Trattoria Mercatto is a nice place to look at, but not so great to eat at.

Food was amazing and so was the service. Worth the $$.

First time at this place. I see that some other reviews are complaining about their waiters... All I know is that the young Asian lady that was our server was amazing: smiling, polite, expedient, helpful. As for the food, it was a very solid Italian cuisine. We had a veal panini and a lamb pasta - both very good. Not "blow your socks off", but definitely on the upper side of the scale.

Good atmosphere, especially given that it's connected to the Eaton Centre, but the food wasn't great, and the service wasn't great either. I asked for a jug of water as I was very thirsty from shopping in an overheated mall for 3 hours the weekend before Christmas, and they have a ton of the jugs available; yet, I was told no and offered sparkling water at first. Later they said they'd come by more often to give me chilled water as I needed it, which they did at first, but than I went without water for 30 min. After ordering our food took about 35 minutes to be prepared, even though it's just pasta and pizza and when it came it was far less than great. The pasta was cold and lacked flavour, whilst the pizza, despite tasting well enough, had almost no toppings on it, and was both burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle. Overpriced to say the least.

I order a pasta from Uber eats and they sent without sauce. Definitely it was underseasoned and me and my husband had been waiting for a call fromtheir manager but we didn't get for 40mins. We needed to call them back to talk to them again.

My wife ordered the Chitarra alla Carbonara and I ordered the steak frites. The pasta was very bland and didn’t have the yolk on it. The frites were over cooked and cold. The steak was more medium than rare. Furthermore no cutlery or condiments were in line take out bag. Very disappointed. Expected a lot more.

Matt O'Halloran

I don't get out much, so it's nice to get out where I don't need to be in the kitchen . This was an excellent burger, tasty and very moist. Cooked to Medium and definitely worth it. My wife had the pizza, sauce had an amazing hint of lemon. Good meal. Understanding that this is an Italian based restaurant... I was disappointed in the whisky selection. But it's sort of to be expected.

Arash Rasooli

Terrible food, disappointed in the quality. Veal meatballs were boiled and mushy, calamari was decent but very small, we also had the cheese board that wasn’t very good either, not very good prosciutto. I have been to Mercatto and bay and college which is way better so to come to this location was an extreme disappointment.

This was our 2nd time here in the past 2 weeks. The staff are prompt, courteous and friendly and provide superior service even faced with the lack of support staff. We had the Arctic Char and the pan seared lasagna and my oh my, each was prepared to perfection. Tables are a little close together on the main floor and they do not have a way to leave a pitcher of water but we're great about visiting the table often to refill.

Anna Kania

An out of town colleague selected Trattoria Mercatto because it was close to her hotel and she liked the ambiance of looking our into Trinity Square through all the beautiful windows. I and another thoroughly enjoyed the Q water, olives and ravioli with peas and chard. My other colleague chose two starters for variety. The staff was very professional.

There is isntant nostalgia here. Regardless of what restaurant takes up this space, it will always be called Mr. Green Jeans - Even if nothing looks the same. The decor is spot on. It’s both spectacular and typical of similarl restaurants. The food was very reasonable priced and the portions okay. We weren’t blown away by what we ate, but we didn’t leave any left on our plates ether. I had the seafood linguini which was yummy and exactly what I expected. He had the pancetta pizza which he rather loved. Dessert was great! I absolutely loved the banana chocolate pudding and might stop by again just to have that! Service was pleasant but really slow.

NafNoof Al-J

Good food. Rude service. We are tourists from NYC visiting a cousin that lives just outside Toronto. We met downtown and decided to try this place while walking around the Eaton Center. The service was slow. That might be understandable, but the attitude from the waitress was disappointing. She seemed to assume that we were familiar with the menu, first when asking for Canadian beer, with a tone of annoyance she said they don't serve Canadian beer. Fine, we ordered some other type of beer, and my cousin ordered sparkling water, which I usually avoid. Later on, my cousin explained it was not mineral water, but just sparkling water, and she gave me a bit to try. At the point, the waitress came by to rudely warn, again assuming that we are familiar with the restaurant, that she was going to charge us extra if I had more of my cousin's water. Wow! Apart from that, the food was good. Too bad, the server's attitude soured the meal.

Odin Cabrera

Great location in the Eaton Centre with some great views of the back courtyard. The diavola pizza tasted great! The hostess was great and enthusiastic but unfortunately our server seemed a bit tired and not present.

Nikola Jovicic

I've been to this restaurant on two separate occasions and MmMmMmM Delicious! supper yummy and fresh! In the summer time they have a great Patio to enjoy gathered around you is old stone -gives you a little University vibe. Its calm and relaxing. Honestly a very nice spot to catch a bite after shopping them you can go enjoy a walk down by city hall afterwards. We had a Pizza during our first visit and then Gnocchi during our 2nd visit.

Erika Halili

Loved it. Ask about happy hour. Pasta and food was great for a quick lunch.

Shyla Tibando

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the staff. They were quick, attentive, extremely accommodating, and made our group feel genuinely welcome (not easy to do for a large rambunctious group of 22). The food was great, but the service was exceptional. I would recommend Trattoria Mercatto to anyone!

Ellie Joy P.

Great food and great service! Also they have a huge patio; perfect for COVID social distancing.

Adonay Guerrero

Great great great pizza. Buuuuut I have to say something that happened to me and my boyfriend. May be I'm crazy but this is what I felt. One week ago we decided to taste the pizza. We didn't look so groomed that day. And they place us upstais, even many tables were aviable downstairs . Today (again on Wednesday) we were wearing better clothes and they sat us downstairs, even that this day the place was fuller. I don't know, may be I'm crazy but it felt discriminatory.

Chantal Tiffany

Extremely delicious pasta and nice patio area. Pasta was a lil expensive but mostly on par in price considering the quality of the restaurant space. Mainly it’s just a tad small in size for the price but ended up being perfect meal for me

Kelley McCormack

Extremely long waiting time for food after ordering. We were served our starters (neither of which requires cooking) half an hour and our mains more than 1 hour after ordering - unacceptable at lunch, even if it was very busy. They were obviously prioritizing pizzas as these seemed to fly out of the kitchen. Unfortunately our party of four hadn't ordered any. Seafood linguine was far too spicy, even if the waiter had warned me it had some "kick" to it. Nobody in Italy eats pasta with that much chile in it. The three mussels were white and sickly looking, the calamari was like rubber. Not impressed. The starters and other mains were better. There was no time for dessert so we skipped that. Service was friendly and chatty. The kitchen needs to get it together.

Rikki /Julius Reque

Very nice mood and service. Not so pricey. Pizza was a little flavorless and very chesseless to what I am used to. Not so good to eat but nice to have a nice time.

PizzaExpert on Youtube

we have been to this restaurant before the pandemic hit and have had a great times over and over but our last visit we waited to be sat which we expected but after we were sat we didnt have any one approach our table for 20 minutes then the three wait staff on at the time argued about whose table we were mere feet from us as if we couldnt hear them. if that wasnt bad enough even though our server was friendly when asked for recommendations on a sweet fruity cocktail they gave us one that was not sweet or fruity in flavor in the slightest instead it was incredibly bitter and not what we wanted at all. also when asked about dishes to order their description of the flavor in the dishes were no where near the actual food. the pasta was almost mush it was so over cooked and was grossly bitter in flavor and tasted burnt even though it didnt look it . the only reason im not giving one star is our previous experience. we rarely saw our server at our table despite the lack of business at our time of visit but saw them joking and talking with other employees. they gave false information about the menu and neglected us the whole time. i wont recommend going back till the full menu is restored. and will request a different server if we see them again. it was not a good experience for a place we used to love so much. this may have been a one time thing who knows but by the end we just wanted to leave.

Jeff Kahane

Pizza was good. Service was ok $22 for a glass of red wine!! I was on vacation, so I said why not? Pricey, and good food, but not great, especially at that price

Anna Tannas

Had a quick afternooon snack. Ordered the meatballs (veal and pork, i cant remember exactly what it's called) and the diavolla pizza. Loved both! Wish came here for lunch instead. Staff were very attentive. We sat by the window so we had the sun while staying inside with airconditioning. Will be back!!

Courtney Livesey

Outdoor patio is beautiful, excellent service, centerally located in Eaton center.

Sheryl Kam

Late lunch. Dinned in outside, on their patio during these pandemic days. The patio was pretty chilly, so it kind of took away from the experience... The food was good, though it didn’t have anything special to make me want to go back. I was in between 3* and 4*, but 4* for their efforts to stay open and accommodate social distancing regulations.

Rommel Noronha

They serve real Italian food at its best. My husband and I have visited the restaurant many times so far and never been disappointed. My favourites are tender and crispy Calamari Fritti, Polpette served with an Italian style bread (soft crumb & crust) and Rigatoni alla Bolognese. For meat lovers I highly recommend Maiale (a solid pork cutlet with bone). Plus, I love the funny yet elevating cards attached to the receipts.

Shanir Jamal

Absolutely fantastic service and fine quality food!

Chris Levien

There is no better place in the Eaton Centre for a great meal and equally great ambiance. Service is the best, with the friendliest and most attentive servers. Do not miss having at least a drink and appetizer here if you visit the Eaton Centre.

Viola Luo

It was Black Friday and we dodged shoppers to get to TM for drinks and apps before our show. We were lucky to get seats at the bar and lucky to get Amanda, who made our long-awaited date night extra special! Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Would go again for sure!

Louise Villa

We had a very pleasant time in this restaurant. The food was delicious and service was great.

Wasim Akram

Not good pizza. This coming from a PizzaExpert (on YT). I did a video review on this place. Super thin crust and soggy bottom crust. Very bland and spotty coverage for cheese. I am fed up with open fire cooked pizza being burnt. This isn't even wood-fire. I don't recommend at all.

N S

Amazing pasta and spicy chicken recommended by nice host! You can tell they put thoughts into the dishes. Also nice atmosphere with the mezzanine and high ceiling, can’t believe I never walked in here!

Audrey Adrinè

Had dinner here after work. The pasta is pretty good here. Meats platter and cheese as well.

Doug Allan

I've been here a few times, always been pretty good. Being in a mall leads to massive rushes and at times it seems like the servers can get overwhelmed with the sheer volume. The food has always been great, got no real complaints there, the pizzas tend to be nicely done, with a crisp crust and tasty toppings. Overall I'd recommend it, but I think they may need to invest into one or two more servers/support staff, it'll help during the rushes and allow for a smoother service.

Shaena P

Great atmosphere, fast & friendly service with a humongous patio. Calamari was amazing! Cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. Steak Frites unfortunately the star of the dish was the fries. Steak was cooked properly but lacking in taste.

Anthony Pace

My partner and I wanted to eat at Trattoria Mercatto tonight after having been a few times pre-covid. After our experience tonight, we won’t be back. We left straight after being seated. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we seen not one, not two but THREE chefs in the kitchen wearing their masks wrong. Two under their chins (nose and mouth exposed) and one with the mask only covering their mouth. You’d think in an open kitchen they’d be more careful but they were chatting together whilst preparing the food in front of everyone and their saliva may have gotten into the food. It’s a shame as the food I’ve had there has been good but I won’t support an establishment that can’t follow health and safety rules.

Wlad CM

Was looking forward to some good food. The callimari was extremely disappointing. Very soggy and chewy. I ordered a linguini in a cream sauce and it 1st came with no cream sauce. It took too long to re-deliver as the others had nearly finished their meals. I guess our server the feedback who took it too his manager. The manager didn't even come to speak with us. He offered us complimentary dessert but had no takers. Won't be eating there again.

Sasha Sh

This is always a nice place to visit after shopping in the mall. They ran out of their house bread so they bake some pizza dough and slathered it with oil and garlic. It was delicious seriously. Great service and the food is always excellent.

Alex T

Good service but my lasagna was not salted enough and my friend's pizza was oversalted. Very disappointed considering I came 3 years ago and the food was great. Not returning and do not recommend.

Troy Ferrell

It used to be very famous and good. I was there last week. Their food are disappointing.

Adam Donner

We are visiting the city for the first time and were suggested to have a nice dinner here by our friends last night. Tall, slim, blond guy was our server and he could care less what's going on with our experience. Was not friendly, in fact snobbish, didn't ask how the food was (I made sure to make eye contact as he passed by) and all the time looked like he was pissed. The risotto with mushroom I ordered was bland. There were no salt/pepper on tables. It could've used some more Parmesan, too.

Glenda Conrad

Lovely tasty food, quick and friendly service. Meals came out fast. Patio is located in a cute area. Great experience ! Will return for sure. Right at the eaton centre, beside the Nordstrom.

Cherril Alfonso

One of the best go to italian restaurants I have in mind

Tim Donovan

The service was exquisite and the food was very good. We had a 4 year old with us and he gobbled down almost an entire plate of gnocchi. I would highly recommend for a nice meal (or some drinks on the patio). My one suggestion for the restaurant would be to fix their phone line (which I suspect is VoIP). It was nearly impossible to hear the hostess while I was trying to make my reservation which was incredibly frustrating! If you are reserving....do so online!

Cheryl Capwill

The food, service and atmosphere are beyond great! Due to the pandemic we decided to get married at City Hall and have lunch with our immediate family and friends at Trattoria Mercatto. I worked with Kyle and his staff and they went above and beyond to make this day perfect. It’s strange to read poor reviews on the food because it was absolutely delicious. Their Linguine do Mare is a must try. We will definitely be coming back!

Nafisa Valliani

Service was great. Hostess noticed it was my belated birthday and gave me a warm bday greeting. Our servor was nice too. Although we had ordered a beer on tap and it was pretty flat. I'm guessing due to covid it's been quite slow so we asked to switch for a bottle and there were no issues doing so. Arctic Char salad - fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Crispy well seasoned skin and glistening meat. The salad was a mish mash of stuff but yummy vinaigrette and overall a healthy and tasty dish. Orechiette pasta - not traditional style since it uses pesto instead of a tomato base. I came a few years ago and remembered loving this dish but today it was just too salty. Flavor was good but too much salt. Calamari - the moment they put the plate down I knew it wasmt real calamari... Awful spongy squishy texture. You let me know if it was mozzarella sticks or calamari. Overall - I'd give it another try if I were shopping at Eaton's and wanted a sit down restaurant.

Rebecca Stenabaugh

A modern Italian restaurant inside CF Toronto Eaton Center

Darryl Koster

Great ambience and location. Everyone loved the look. But the food was horrible. Pizza is super thin with hard crusts. The veal parmigiana had no flavour and was soggy. The portions were also small and everyone needed to order extra to fill up. This in turn raised the price above our comfort zone and then they auto charged 18% tip. Don’t waste your time here. If you go out to eat you expect tasty food and this place missed the mark. Horrible food in a nice setting.

Helen Stamadianos

AMAZING PLACE! Visited 2 days in a row on a business trip to Toronto. Was served both times by Tony and it was fantastic. The wine was superb, the food fresh and tasty, the staff genuine and pleasant, the ambiance.... perfect. Highly recommend!!

Ash S

Food was a 2/5. Flavours weren’t that great; the calamari wasn’t crispy and it tasted like a fish cake instead of actual squid. I’m giving an extra star because our server was great. My friend and I had somewhere to be after and he took our order fast and was super attentive.

E S

I never knew this place was so large! I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be quite spacious and the food was delicious. Ordered the duck pappardelle and the food was steaming hot, fresh, and came rather quickly. Would come again!

Ailyn P

As a first time customer, I decided to order calamari and a wild boar pizza via uber eats. For $18, you get a flavourless, doughy, soggy dish that's poorly packed. I was expecting a cardboard or styrofoam container to allow the steam to escape rather than situate itself back into the food, making it soggy. Instead, I received a tightly sealed aluminum takeout container. I was barely able to eat a quarter of it. The wild boar pizza was nicely presented but the overall crust was undercooked. Albeit, the male host who served me was very polite and attentive and the decor was industrial-esque/eye catching but the food could do better.

Andrea Carlisle

Had a really nice meal tonight. Our server was Matt, he was very attentive, quick with drinks and apps/pizza, very friendly. We had calamari (excellent), arancini (excellent), pepperoni pizza (good). Loved the atmosphere, will definitely be back next time in TO.

Lorena Pio

We had a very good dinner here. The atmosphere is cozy and service was great. We had bistecca which was amazing, great brussel sprouts and average eggplant parmesan.

Brittany L

Love the food and great service. Was served by Matt who was friendly and attentive, but also gave me space to enjoy my meal without hovering. I'll definitely return. Can't wait to enjoy the Chianti again ???? and another delicious entree.

S Patel (patelsr)

One of my husband's favorite restaurants. Pizza is great. Table and chairs where we sat not too comfortable. Service is good. I definitely recommend this place.

Sonam Arora

A fabulous second experience at this restaurant post lockdown! We ordered Arancini and Pizza al Prosciutto. I can't remember the last time I had such an authentic pizza! If you're visiting for the first time - I definitely recommend a glass of Nero D'Avola (sicilian red). Definitely going back soon! My only rue is it is a bit expensive for the regular night out - but definitely worth every once in a while! Cin Cin!

Liam donnelly

Not yet a 5, but if there’s a 4.5 star rating, that’s what I will give Trattoria Mercatto at Eaton Centre. We ordered calamari for appetizers which was lightly breaded and succulent, we loved it. I ordered the albacore tuna seared on outside and slightly raw on the inside with pureed pepper and tomato as sauce and some greens. I had the potato fingerlings replaced with carrots and it was just delish! My husband ordered the arctic char and he truly enjoyed it including the seared cauliflower and fingerling potatoes. Both were tasty and really filling. The portions are not that big but probably a little more than one person can take. Price is somewhat on a higher end as expected and service is really wonderful but overall it’s worth it. Would not mind coming back next time. And oh, their cup of coffee is like a soup bowl - huge! Husband not complaining though. ????

Nancy

Always one of my favorite spots in the area, good food, and more importantly an absolutely killer wine menu. Portion sizes are large enough but not ridiculous and the desserts are always worth saving room for.

Ally Smith

I was there on Saturday night with my husband for my birthday.Nov 16. The dinner was fantastic. Lots of flavour and friendly staff. Nice decor in the restaurant as well. -off topic- I think I lost a black leather mitt there, my favourite. Did someone happen to find it??

Anthony Jones

Beautiful, hidden gem! Went for an early dinner with my girlfriends after wedding dress shopping, the owner/manger was quick to spot us and make our experience extra special! Food and wine were excellent, looking forward to a return visit. (Too busy eating and drinking to take photos - sorry!)

Angela Dawn Zuba

I had lunch there with my boyfriend and I can say that the food and the place are very good! They have some good prices in the menu (check their pizzas, they are AMAZING!). We had their burrata and their 4 cheese pizza (Quattro Formaggi). I expected more from the burrata cheese, but that is not their fault. It simply has less flavor than I was expecting, but they were able to turn it into a magnificent dish since the beets and baby arugula salad was delicious. The pizza is amazing! The dough is an Italian classic... you will not forget it! And also the ingredients are good! You know a good cheese and a good tomato sauce when you eat them, that is exactly what we felt. The pizza has a pretty good size (12"), so for us, it was enough to share.

Lorena Lechuga

This place was ok. Food was decent. Drinks were ok depending on who made them (one bar tender must have known how to make drinks. One had no clue). The service was terrible though. The waitress was stoic. We were left sitting and had to struggle to get the bill asking several people. Hopefully for them that it’s just one person.

Shaurik Kashyap

Pizza, pasta, and mains. Not too expensive for the quality. Serves until 11 on Friday, so good for an after the movie meal. A little more casual than other versions of Mercatto. Pleasant view out the back of the restaurant overlooking a Church and a few trees.

Bárbara Rosado

The pizza and the pasta here are delicious. They come in smaller sizes comparing to other restos. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. Since it is inside the mall, the parking here is not free. Reservation is highly recommended during lunch and dinner hours. Great restaurant for date night and family.

D M

Being irnored for an hour watched the waitress talked to everyone but you is no funny at all... I feel like i was treated as if I was not even a human. I made eyes contact, smile, and she just ignored me. Almost burst into tears when I talked with the other guy at the entrance. Worst experience ever! The price of food is not cheap, I dont know why I paid so much then being treated that way. It wasn't even crowded that day.

Brian McRae

Although it was a busy Thursday night, the service we received was top notch! At no point did we have to wait to call our server. He was extremely helpful and attentive. The food was phenomenal! The calamari was lightly breaded and NOT chewy, compared to other places. I love pesto, so the bread was a must order. The chicken was crispy yet juicy and spicy at the same time. From start to finish everything was a delight. One of my new favourites!

Joe D

Pretty bad service. No one came to get the order. After 15 min we had to find a person who worked there to asked if we could order. Then wait for another 20 min for drinks to actually arrive. Would not recommend or ever come back to this place.

Amina Arshad

Had lunch with colleagues here. Had a reservation for us so the sitting was quick but on the upper level. All of found that it was very noisy. As we hardly could hear each other, specially if the person was two seats away. Their menu is not clear in which items are Gluten-free and which are vegetarian or vegan. A colleague who has gluten allergies was struggling and so was I for vegan options. The staff did make sure that it was taken care off. Ordered Funghi with no cheese and a Fresca. The order came fairly quickly and almost all together. The pizza was made with tons of baby kale and arugula I think, with cremini mushrooms and a purée made of mushrooms. The crust probably made with 00 flour was good and well baked. Although just my preference, it had tons of drizzled olive oil. The Fresca, made with Ginger, Lime and Basil was top notch. The ginger and lime tasted amazing. If you are a strong ginger lover, this is for you. Although I would ask for less ice.

B Mayo

The panceta pizza and the octopus are amazingly delicious . Recommended for italian lovers. The place is located next to the eaton center which makes it great for a lunch break or an after shopping dinner. A much better choice than the fast food in the mall. We have also tried the margarita pizza which has a thin crispy crust and made with high quality ingredients.

Alif Dharssi

Tasted the 7 ounce steak. A steak to die for, prepared in wine. Fries came with a dipping sauce. Made the fries even more yummy. Sampled the lasagna. Amazing, Going to try the pizza on my next visit. Please enjoy, this is higher end eating. With 2 people dining, $100.00+ tip. It was worth it. Spared no expense.

I was out out for a celebratory lunch and it was ruined in a matter of minutes by a situation that could have been completely avoided. I have a severe gluten intolerance and ordered a gluten free pizza. The server was made aware of my intolerance and notified me that the pizza was safe to eat. A gentlemen brought out a pizza that did not look gluten free. I asked on 3 occasions if this pizza was safe to eat and all three of the different servers answered yes. After eating 2 slices a manager came out to notify me that the pizza I was eating was in fact, not gluten free. Within a few minutes, I became very ill. The server tried to justify the error by blaming it on the "bus boy" when in fact, it was an error on her end that was occurred as a result of laziness and stupidity. How does the staff not know the difference between a gluten free crust and a regular crust? I have been a server for 6 years and know the importance of knowing a menu and how easy it is to accommodate people with dietary restrictions. This error could have been easily avoided. Super unimpressed and will never return.

Juan DelasCuerdas

Love coming here after shopping at Eaton centre or before movies. Food is always good and service is lovely.

Cory Ashawasega

A hidden gem located on the outside of the Eaton Center. We had a pepperoni pizza and calamari, both of which were cooked to perfection, the kitchen staff certainly know what they are doing so I’m excited to try more dishes in the future. The outside patio is peaceful and serene, fronted by a nearly 200 year old church and a schoolhouse built in the 1800’s giving you a nice old Toronto scene to admire as you are waiting for your food. The waitstaff was very friendly and efficient, and the prices very reasonable for the quality of food.

Yummy food, and we had a lovely waiter. Will have to come back and sit out on the patio next time.

The place itself looks nice, cool! The food is “pretty good” but nothing really special! Needs more ... Price is high for what is served! I do miss the old Mario’s Italian Restaurant it used to be inside Eaton Centre lowest floor.

Things started off well. I met a friend for a beer after work at the mall. Overall the drinks and service was OK. Your typical lower end pizza pasta joint. Prices were moderate but we got the value for what we paid for.

The place is stunning, the food and service were excellent and I really enjoyed family time! The location is very convenient as well, since the restaurant is inside the Toronto Eaton Centre.

Do not go here if you have any sort of intolerance, dietary issue or dietary preference. My partner who is celiac to the highest severity came here to have a celebratory meal after one of her biggest accomplishments. She ordered a pizza dish and asked not once, not twice but three times to make sure there was no gluten in it. They assured her that there was not. After eating 2 slices, they came over and informed her that they were wrong and it did have gluten in it. She is now at home with uncontrollable discharging from her orifices(to put it lightly). Last time something like this happened she was on the IR for almost 3 days. Things like this need to be taken seriously as it is a medical condition and not some petty preference. And all they offered was to cover their bills which was a couple drinks and a meal. Truly disappointed with the lack of communication between the kitchen and waiting staff. Highly do not recommend. Just a fancy restaurant with the mirage of fine dining when in reality it’s ran no better then a Kelseys or Montana’s.

Food was warm and yummy and they were nice about small modifications. Servers were super friendly too. Overall atmosphere was cute as well.
