Sangria was delicious. Had a rude first impression with the manager of the first floor restaurant area. She was not accommodating and made us feel like we were rushed out of there.
Excellent service. Good food. I like a little sass with my server. She was awesome!
Great food, great customer service and a good ambience. Convenient location. Must try all the cocktails here and brunch menu is extensive.
Terrible food, awful service. We were staying in nice Delta hotel then we wanted to go somewhere close to our place, so we decided to have dinner at SOCO. However, totally SOCO was not pleasant our dinner. The Mushroom Soup is too Salty, I am the person loving eating salty dishes but I cannot finish my soup at all. Service is also big problem. The waitress is too rude, she was mad with us when we were trying to order food, we though she was not enough sleep on last night.
This place, was very unexpected, to keep it very simple, I decided to try a burger as it was my first time there. I was lost for words, the burger was to die for and so tender. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We tried out the rooftop venue on opening day, so their were some glitches, but the service was great. The drink options were good and the food options were very limited. The live DJ vibe topped up the already fantastic views.
Great food and service with good wine selection. The fig pizza was so good, I got it twice in two days!
Waited for almost 40 minutes for our server. Fully raised our hands to get other servers' attention. Everyone just glanced and ignored us.

Pretty good brunch. Love the Avocado toast and the potato fries were awesome too.

Nice patio. Limited menu since Covid. Good chef. Our server Sam was absolutely delightful.
AMAZING!!!! Octopus and lamb were incredible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift.
Ok food, decent staff, great location.
Good foods. That a hotel restaurant. They not have big menu for breakfast. Price is high for what it is but good foods. Its not same restaurant than rooftop terrace. Service is good.
Service- 4/5 a bit slow but friendly Food - 3/5 didn't have a lot of flavour - wasnt a huge fan of the famous mac and cheese, almost had a flavour like it was going bad (bitter tasting). Value-2/5- very expensive but tiny portions. Got such a tiny slice of halibut Atmosphere- 5/5 Overall a overpriced restaurant, but it's not horrible. If the lowered the prices I would go back for sure a lot. Probably expensive due to the area. Also our appetizer and meal came at the same time which was disappointing. Cocktails, albeit 16 damn dollars was tasty, but $16 is also expensive.
Food is good but overpriced. Service is good. They need to get with technology and have machines with tap, who carries credit cards anymore?
The chef knows their stuff! Fantastic meals, everything tastes great, from appetizer to dessert to children's meal. Extensive menu for kids. We ordered halibut and steak - came out perfect, really. I am seldomly this happy with my meal and would definitely come another time.
A spacious restaurant with great ambience and friendly staff. We were there for breakfast, and happy with the varied menu that included numerous options from omelettes to pancakes and French toast. Full marks to the food presentation as well. Service was a bit slow, but the staff were diligent to replace the order with fresh food off the kitchen.
Good place for breakfast, yummy food but sadly the service is really SLOW
Fries weren't hot or at least warm. Didn't eat it.
Great experience, was going to a game and stopped for some food. It's a higher end place but nice and open feel. It has a bar area with big tv's. The food was great and came fast. The staff was friendly and thoughtful. See you next time.
Had a good time here. Waitress was really nice and the food was pretty good. I’d go back again ????????♂️
Dinner
Delightful staff and delicious food. While it is on the pricier side, I believe it's worth if for the amazing staff they have, the speed of service, and the variety if lovely food options they have. The whole table got yummy gin drinks to start. We had a burger, pizza, and the poke bowl and all were equally delicious. Would recommend for a restaurant place close to attractions downtown, but also has a lovely cozy vibe.
The food okay, but giving 5 stars because the rooftop patio is amazing and it has an awesome vibe
Who would’ve thought brunch as takeout would still be good!! SOCOJK serves a mean brunch and even though they don’t have a brunch menu most of these items are on their lunch menu!! Personal fave was the avocados toast and the pancakes!g
Had drinks and a few appitizers here. Great locatiom and food was delicious.
It is pricey, but so far one of the best Caesar cocktail we have ever had. It was about $30 for two including tax and tip. Also it was so nice to sit in the patio in a sunny day.
Really delicious lunch! Upscale comfort food. Good atmosphere.
I used to work in the area, so I've been here for business breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Breakfasts - best meal to have here. I've been here twice for breakfast and it's generally pretty quiet so it's easy to talk. Lunches - really variable. I've been here when it's quiet like breakfast and it's really nice for lunch. I've also been here when there's a convention on at the Convention Centre and it's insanity. Kinda luck of the draw. Dinners - it's right in the sports hub of Toronto, so predictably it can get loud/busy right before a game. Service staff and the food have always been good regardless of the meal. The burger is a safe option, as is their classic breakfast.
I have always had amazing experience at Soco kitchen and bar. The chef’s are really creative when it comes to presentation and quality of food is always consistent. They offer good variety of options covering all kinds of special request.
FOOD POISONING BEWARE!!! I ordered the 'Summer Salad with Chicken' and got food poisoning from it. I was in EXTREME stomach pain and was overall terribly ill. I called to inform them what happened because I didn't want anyone else to experience the pain I was going through and they did not even bother to apologize and were extremely nonchalant about the whole situation.
I tried to order lunch at 1:15pm on Sunday, but was refused because they were still on the brunch menu, although the lunch menu says they start at 11:30am. Highly recommend you check your watches and ask before asking.
The food is ok. Service non existent. No water refill and they never brought my drink or syrup for pancakes.
Reached at 10:35 after a Raptors game on a Friday and found that they were already on a Late Night Snacks menu! A single page menu with few options but some flatbreads and a couple of mezze dishes. No chicken or pork optionsl! Nice location and tastefully done. Moderately expensive items and smallish portions but everything tasted fresh and savoury. This is an expensive place for middle eastern snacks right next to all the tourist attractions in downtown Toronto.
Very friendly waitress fast service ???????????? But food not very tasty mushroom soup very salty ????????????steak not tasty ????????????menu very small no choice???????????? For a hotel it is very bad same menu room service ????????????

One of the best burgers in Toronto
Stayed at the Delta Hotel and had the breakfast buffet two days in a row. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the food. They had a big selection of from eggs and bacon to charcuterie. Food was always fresh and hot. Staff were really friendly. Only complaint is on both days we would have to wait 20-25 minutes just to deal with the check. After we finished our meals the servers would just forget us and we could not get their attention or find them. The couple next to us had the same problem and waited even longer just to get their bill. We usually arrived when the breakfast rush was over so the restaurant wasn't too busy.
I don't ever leave bad reviews... The only thing good about this restaurant was the view. The service we received was completely inappropriate for a high-rated restaurant. Aside from the waiter having a bad, snappy attitude with us, we waited over 20 minutes just to get water and order drinks. We were waiting another 25 minutes for our drinks and decided to get up and leave before our food or drinks came out. I really wish I was exaggerating about the time I waited, but unfortunately, I am not. The food LOOKED tasty from what I saw at other tables, but I don't think I would ever come back here to even test it out...
We went here for Valentines day and it was such a great time. Great location with views of the CN tower, excellent staff and delicious food. The prices where very reasonable too, definitely not cheap but worth it compared to many other places. Would highly recommend.

Yet another good place found in Toronto for some really good food. I went with friends & family on a Friday night. The place has a good spacious patio seating. We were seated immediately. The staff is polite & friendly. The only reason to give 4 stars was the wait time. But I can assure you that the food you will have here is worth it. I'm vegetarian & so was happy to see so many options for myself. The cauliflower steak was to die for & am sure going back for it. My daughter loved her salmon. It was fresh & cooked to perfection. The guac in the starter was amazing. With variety of bread that its served with. Also each one of us enjoyed every drink that was on the table. I personally loved the darker side of my mojito. Overall a great evening with great drinks & sumptuous meal. Look forward to go again.
SOCO used to have the best mushroom pizza which they took off the menu. They also had an amazing creamy mushroom soup that was top notch. Because we loved their mushroom pizza, they tried to accommodate our request and make it for us when we visited this time as well! Amazing chefs! Amazing service!
Michael (Mike, Mikey) was such an amazing server. Had a GREAT laugh with him. So genuine and kind. Food and drinks were great. Will be returning for SURE!
Service
Above average food quality, with above average price tags. Services are good. Plenty of space means you won't need to reserve except for some Fridays, or if you have a large group.
Brunch menu only after 11:30am. Meals are not the same as picture shown.
Cosy and clean. No free parking. The food is great. A bit pricey. Awesome staff.
Had there salt lick cheese burger, couldn't finish it. I have never had anything so salty before.
We are here at the Delta, had our first meal here. Burger is excellent, suggest getting the soco sauce on the side, we were about 50/50 on it. The green sauce for the fries was excellent. The fries are a must have with the green sauce. We also tried the Mac and Cheese. Although it was really good, wasn’t the highlight. The pepperoni pizza was legit. The pepperonis are just quality and the crispy crust was excellent. Not many restaurants like this get the pizza right, these guys do. Service was excellent. Server accommodated every request, and we had some special requests.
Brought my fiance here for his birthday. Their website said dress code is business casual. The dress code was not business casual, everyone was dressed in tshirts and shorts. The food was nothing special, and the menu was flat. We ordered the burger with salsa and chips. The chips were stale. The drinks for whatever. The patio doesn't look that great either. We had asked to be seated in a booth Because I have back problems and additionally I was wearing a dress. A hostess refused and indicated that a table was reserved... Hour later It is still empty... nobody has still sat there. The server came over two or three times at most. I'm not impressed....
We came out of convenience as we were staying at the hotel. The food was mediocre at best. The kids had the veggies on the side of their meals, and instead of them being crunchy and crisp, they were rubbery and bendable. We will be finding somewhere else to go for breakfast.

Service is decent but the food is consistently terrible. It's the only hotel restaurant in the downtown core that is empty at breakfast and for good reason. The breakfast buffet has croissants that are hard rock and fruit that looks like it's days old. I had salmon for dinner on the server's recommendation and it was undercooked, mushy and inedible. 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner, all terrible. We walked around the corner to the Fairmont (Reign) each morning for breakfast - amazing breakfast buffet and service. The hotel (Delta) is new, has great rooms and the service is spectacular but the restaurant is just awful.
I would give zero if I could. We had a reservation on a holiday for a table. After they seated us at our table we waited so long ( almost 20 minutes) for the waitress to come to our table. We asked one of the waitresses as she was passing by to get our sever so we could order food. Turned out she, herself was our waitress. She responded with a very aggressive tone like” you just got here and you can’t wait! How can I help you maaaaam” !!!. There was only one couple other than us in the restaurant at the time. The rest of the tables were empty. We were so surprised by how aggressive she was. Then we asked for the menu and she responded “ oh you’re not even ready” she sighed and left without even providing us with the menu. We asked to change our table as we were not willing to deal with such a rude waitress and ruin our day. After we stood up to leave the table she followed us blabbering angry words. It was really awkward, very very, very unprofessional. Honestly I have never experienced this in any restaurant before. We finally decided to just leave the restaurant and go somewhere else. They should train their staff better as this way of treating customers is absolutely not acceptable.
After paying the check, we noticed that we had paid for extra items that we did not order. We informed the staff about the issue, the manager told us that they are going to contact us later on to follow up on the issue and refund us. No one called, no refund has been made Check your bill very carefully before paying anything there
Great little spot in a perfect location before catching a baseball game. Great views and tasty food.
Great location for drinks, a bit to eat and the view is worth the trip. DJ played some great tunes.
Wife and I went for an anniversary breakfast at SOCO today and the menu choices, food and presentation was just awful. Pre COVID this place was our go to for a nice fancy breakfast. I hope they get back their old chiefs/cooks soon. Otherwise, we won't be back.
It was fairly unoccupied inside when I asked for a table for two for dinner. The host made it clear they 'need the table back at 6:30 for a fully booked reservation.' Then I asked for clarification because it was already 6:10. He didn't see it as a problem at all and said yes. So I again asked, you mean we need to leave in 20 mins? Which he said 'we are not kicking you out, we just need the table back.' ... Just no common sense with this host. We opted for the bar (which the host didn't even offer to begin with) because my friend really wanted to try the mac'n'cheese and the bar staff was top notch. But I will never actively seek this place to entertain friends again. Pictures are taken at 6:15 and then again at 7:15.
Well it was nice on the outside waited on line for about 10 min but could not go in as floor manager I assume came out and said they were only taking those with reservations and by 10.45 am they stop because brunch was coming up by 11.30 so we left , definitely would try it in the future.
Casual breakfast/ brunch spot in good Toronto setting with nice CN Tower views. Good location for a quick bite before a sports event. Patio and roof top seating
Great spot for breakfast (we stayed in the Delta hotel for 5 nights). The pancakes especially are excellent
The food was really good and the drinks were made well. Very clean and nice looking restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentative. I would eat there again. My only improvement would be portion size, could be a little bigger. But everyone really enjoyed their meal.
The fries are excellent..must try..the Burger was good too. Lots of seating and decent options. Will visit again.
This is beyond horrible! This is nothing like a parfait. And they added KETCHUP! A big yuck to this experience.
Service
The breakfast was something that I'm not used to but it was very very good.
Loved the burger and salad. Fresh and tasty. Although the meat could be grilled more. Service was good also. Cocktails were not so great. Improvement opportunity.
Dine in
A convenient spot to quickly get brunch when staying in the hotel as we were. Lovely calming decor, friendly and prompt service, and a menu with satisfying, simple classics. The seating and table size was very comfortable for a party of our …
Excellent!! Nice Dine in experience. Lot to explore in the Menu
Came on a saturday evening. They were accomodating as we came with 8 people with no reservation. Service was pretty good, food was very good. Decor was nice. I enjoyed my time there, I would return.
This was my first trip, and I had a very poor experience. 1. They swapped my dish for another option without consulting me because they had "run out". 2. The staff was unapologetic and did not acknowledge the error. 3. They offered to replace the dish but made me wait 45 minutes to be served by which time my partner was done eating. 4. The QR code opened to an "old menu" so you may waste time scanning the wrong menu, and the full spread was not available. 5. Voiced my displeasure to which the staff was dismissive. Don't think I'll be returning here again. Spent an hour and half to leave without eating a meal....
Really nice place. I had no idea they had an upstairs. Their guac and chips is pretty good.
Dine in
Friendly stuff, delicious food. Normally you need a reservation, but they also have walk in.
The food was good but the service wasn't friendly and slow. Also selling Pepsi instead of real Coke. The restaurant was clean and also the washroom was clean. No free parking in the area.
My roommate and I went to Soco for a girls night, we're greeted by friendly and professional staff. The service was great, our waiter was optimally patient and gave really helpful tips and opinions on the menu. We ordered a bottle of riesling white wine and, a side of 5 cheese Mac and Cheese along with Mezze (bread with hummus and olives). the Mac and Cheese was particularly delicious (get it!). We got the NY Striploin, and weren't disappointed at all with our choice! Overall great ambiance, and the service was fantastic. I'll definitely be returning.
Managed to grab a quick bite at the patio. Was hoping patio was open on the second floor, but only ground level was open. The view and atmosphere was nice, food options were very limited.
Amazing place! I’m always skeptical about downtown bars but this one was nice really friendly waiter we had can’t remember his name but he had a beard. We brought our friend here from out of town and he loved it we even had shots with the couple sitting next to us! Great atmosphere certainly recommend it!
I came during a very busy lunch hour on a Friday. They seated me right away. I got my drink right away, but my food probably took 30 minutes. However, the food was amazing, and worth the wait. That being said, I ordered the green salad as my side instead of fries. However, I was very pleased that they mistakenly gave me fries, as were delicious and sprinkled with Parmesan. They came with sauce, that I believe was a white ground mustard of sorts, and it was really good with the fries. The food was 5 stars, but I had to give them a slightly negative rating because of the timing and mistake with the order. Finally, the server was very friendly, and gave me very helpful directions and tips for what to do in the city. He’ll get a good tip.
Food and ambiance was good....was a bit disapointed as they had limited food options ...it was a Sunday...you could onlynpick from the brunch menu
Food is presented very nicely but taste is lacking in comparisons too how it looks. Service is fine but the decor could've had a better design. Wouldn't really come back
Really liked the burger! The flavor is nice and everything tasted amazing! Room service guy was friendly and the price wasn't too expensive. Including room service 46ish dollara to chillax and dine to this amazing view is cool! My wife was in Soco on a few occasions and they didn't disappoint. Check out the bar at Night lots if singles looking for mingles.
Amazing brunch menu It was quite filling and tasted divine. Highly recommended.
Staying at the Delta Marriott, and we just had breakfast from the Soco restaurant, and it was phenomenal. We ordered the mushroom omelette and the breakfast sandwich and tater nuggets and tons of Starbucks coffee, and the mushroom omelette was honestly the best omelet I've ever had in my life. So delicious. They provide you with little tiny bottles of Heinz ketchup, peanut butter, jam, hot sauce, whatever you need, and they also use completely biodegradable containers for their food which is a total bonus which I really appreciate. It's COVID right now so they don't deliver to your room but I did have to go back and give them a tip because I was just so impressed with the food and all the extras and the attention to detail that they put in. Thank you!
I don't review too often but just had to write a note about the spectacular service at this place. They made sure we were taken care of even when there was a huge table next to us that took up a lot of their time. Really appreciated how they made us feel as customers. Food was also delicious! Highly recommended.
The food is okay. It's not good, but it's not bad. The wait time was a little long, but not too bad. I ordered the prawn mac and cheese, which wasn't that good. It had too much of a lemon taste to it to the point where it tasted kind of like rubber. I would recommend the regular five-cheese mac and cheese instead; it has a better taste. The poke wasn't good. The cheeseburger with fries tasted like a good Big Mac or Harvey's burger. At the end of the day, I would only recommend this place if you're super hungry and nothing's open, and you don't mind spending a couple of dollars.
Very good Tuna Poke and Chorizo scramble
My mother and I were staying at the Delta hotel (attached to the restaurant) for a concert later in the evening. We figured we’d try SOCO as it was very close. We were seated immediately. Inside it does look to be a pricier, fancier restaurant. Upon looking at the menu I had a feeling I wouldn’t enjoy anything on there. My mother typically is the more adventurous type when it comes to trying food but even to her there was nothing that caught her attention. She mentioned she’d rather go somewhere where she knows what she’s actually eating. We ended up leaving and choosing a restaurant down the street with more familiar food. If you’re the more adventurous food seeker go for it but if you have someone in your group who’s a bit more cautious when it comes to choosing food I’d recommend choosing somewhere else.
I visited SOCO Kitchen and Bar for the first time last year. I was impressed with the ambience and how friendly the servers and hostess were. I had the lamb that night and I still think about how delicious the entire dish was. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and could not stay for dessert but I do plan to visit again to try other main courses and dive into their scrumptious looking desserts.
The mini mac and cheese with pulled BBQ beef was ah-mazing !!!!! I love the portion size they are just right I dont feel over or underwhelmed by it. The experience was just right and the servers were great. I loved the Hershey's kisses at the exit. I think this was around easter
Average cocktail and average main. We got tomato pizza the tomato was still hard and my fish was not fresh. Starter was good tho. Here doesn't feel like a high end restaurant. If you are looking for a more formal dinner place I will not recommend here.
My dad made the best delicious hand made burgers in his restaurant. I had SOCO's cheeseburger before the Leaf's game, and I tell you it brought my childhood memories back. The burger is old school, two thin grilled patties with all the fixings. Only difference instead of a vanilla milkshake I had a Guiness beer. Do let the slick restaurant design fool you. This is a great spot for a pre-game dinner.
Food was ok, slightly overpriced and sent some items back to be cooked more (eggs came with half cooked egg white). Service was friendly but slow and the payment options are terrible! We had a party for 20 booked and they gave us a table of 14 and a table of 6. They don't break up the bills but they did us a "favour" and divided it into 4 bills...but they were arranged randomly! Lol. Oh, and only 1 credit card payment for each bill, they rest had to pay cash. Management needs a thorough review of this place as the location alone should demand much better. I will not go back and will not recommend it to anyone.
Pizza is pretty good. Their crust is not too thick, and the texture is nice and chewy. The crispy cauliflower starter was ok, but I found the cauliflower chunks too small. There was not enough contrast between the fried outside and the tender interior of the cauliflower. I also found the slivers of julienned preserved lemon a bit overpowering for the dish; smaller bits of it would have been better.
We had the brunch menu Their omelet was really good That's good that I took a pic AFTER I ate it
Quality customer service, and such a short walk from Union Station! I essentially made my own dish (swapped out certain items for others), and it was no issue. I also told my waitress that I don’t eat pork, and in checking about their turkey sausage, she found out that the casing was still pork-based, and offered me another alternative. My breakfast sandwich was delicious, the perfect portion, and the chocolate milk was A1!
Food was great had the steak was on point get it medium rare. Service was good it was busy due to Raptors game but overall it was fine given the circumstances. Be in Jurassic Park vip when you come to Soco.
Really enjoyed our dinner here. My wife and I loved our meals, and we even found something for our daughter (5), which is a rarity. Our waitress, Caroline I think?, was very friendly and attentive, and the venue had a great atmosphere. If I had to put in a complaint, it would be that the beer selection was a bit limited (but still satisfactory). Would definitely go back next time I’m in town.
Good place to hang out after a work day. The rooftop has great views and ambience to the downtown core.
JUNE 2017 Soco is my kinda place. Excellent bar drinks such as the "Nutty Professor", and excellent Lobster Tagliatelle. I'll update this review as I go back. Don't go expecting large portions and cheap prices. If that's what you want go elsewhere. UPDATE Jan 2018: We've been to Soco Kitchen + Bar several times. We had really liked the lobster tagliatelle last year, but with the new menu change, the prawn tagliatelle now comes in at a close second. Still on the menu are the fabulous kale and brussel sprout caesar salad, mini mac and cheese, and Soco fries. Other noteworthy appetizers we've had in the past are the tasty meatballs, and the creamy and savory mushroom soup. You should definitely order these appetizers. As well, you must get the "Nutty Professor" that was created by bartender Julian (but only if Julian or the head bartender is making it). There are some inconsistencies we've observed in our many visits there. The tagliatelle may not be as rich and flavorful depending who is in the kitchen. Also, the Nutty Professor cocktail may be too sweet or too tart depending on who is making it. This visit, we tried the new "Mumbai Style Cod" dish and found it unpalatable, because the cod was perhaps not cooked to the right temperature after being thawed. The desserts (caramel creme brulee and something else) were also not to our liking, but the coffee was brilliant! We told the manager about our findings and she was very accommodating and willing to get things right in the future. Of course, the appetizers made up for the main courses, and the ambiance and service are always excellent.
Had an awesome brunch experience at Soco. Food execution was on point and the wait staff was attentive.
Good drinks and food. The roasted halibut was tasty, goes well with the caper paste and the mushrooms and potatoes. Not overly seasoned, a well balanced taste. Pizza was mediocre, the base was a little hard and dry. The drinks were great though! Best part of the meal. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice and clean dinning environment, great for a casual business meal. However, do watch out for some sports maniac, they were excessively noisy...
Lunch
Excellent dining experience! Great atmosphere and location. Food was top notch! Friendly staff and excellent customer service truly professional.
Worse service ever! The server was so rude and disrespectful! We called our server over and she snapped at us! Was literally barking at us how busy she was! The food was nothing more than average! They don’t cater to vegetarians and dietary restrictions
Service
There is a lot to like about SOCO. Normally I tend to stay away from restaurants that are adjacent to hotels since they usually overcharge for mediocre food, but I am glad to say SOCO does not fit into that mould. We came here on a Wednesday night and the place was packed and lively, which speaks volumes in itself. The interior here is modern and very much fits with the business casual crowds that streams here for post-work food and drinks. Executive chef Keith Pears (winner of Chopped Canada!), and sous chef Micheal Hawryluk are doing a fantastic job with the menu here, as is pastry chef Engin Tiryaki. The food here has minor creative elements to it that adds to the dish while keeping them familiar and approachable. We had a sampling of various dishes for the night, some highlights include: - Grilled Striploin with twice baked potato, watercress salad and mushroom ketchup (great dish for $34) - Duck confit (Absolutely delicious) - Prawn tagliatelle (hearty pasta that would please anyone) - Delta whiskey caramel chocolate cake (so good that I didn't want to share!) - Apple bites (another fantastic dessert) Service throughout the night was at a reasonable pace for a very busy restaurant. Overall, I find the pricing here very reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food, and I find it extremely comparable with other downtown Toronto restaurants. I would not hesitate to come back here. Definitely recommended! Check out @instantonium on Instagram for more great eats
Very nice meal. We chose it based on the online reviews and weren't disappointed. It is very convenient when you are going to an event at the Roger's center
Nice upscale restaurant with unique dishes. Dishes are a little pricey but this is an upscale restaurant. Portions are not big. Had halibut- nice flavour, small portion. Deserts were good and unique as well. Cheesecake is in a dish, not a slice of a larger cake. Apple cobbler didnt have pastry as a traditional cobbler. apple was encircled with a cream with ice cream on top.
Great spot for brunch. Do agree the menu is a bit limited. The spot was able to accommodate our party quite last minute, which was greatly appreciated. Great views. Their hollandaise sauce is better than most other breakfast spots, must try!
The food looks instagrammable and delicious but it’s not that fresh and quite basic. For its price it’s not worth it.
Staff were friendly. That’s about it. Food did not justify the price or quality. Very mediocre to poor. Stayed at the hotel would have loved a bigger menu… not many options for the whole family. Would love to see some light options for take out/take to the room.
I love the atmosphere of this place, the staff is nice and helpful. Food is average, the menu is too small and maybe a bit pricey for what it is but otherwise I've really enjoyed the drinks and rooftop patio!
Great vibe, good food, awesome staff. Have I mentioned that amazing rooftop patio?
Relaxed setting. Great food - I tried the Shakshouka from their Breakfast Menu. It was pretty good - more of a modernized take on the classic.
The food was really good. I usually pick eggs Benedict at brunch and the smoked salmon benny here was really good! The supposedly award winning mac & cheese wasn't really that good though! The staff were super friendly, I had a reservation for a large party and even though we ended up ordering an hour after because some people were late, they were still nice & didn't rush us or anything. We didn't get much service though, but I'm not complaining. I'm still very happy with this place.
I went here two weeks ago with two of my friends. My five star rating is solely on ambience and the customer service. I ordered the classic breakfast and split the buttermilk pancakes. My food was great, but not as memorable as Mildred's or major brunch spots. Everyone who served us was attentive except for our main server. She was an Asian girl but seemed new at her job; she was flustered and forgot our drinks at the start of our order but made really big efforts to correct her errors, so she did redeem herself the best way she possibly could.
Came here after the Jays game yesterday and was greeted by amazing service and excellent food! Korri was attentive from the beginning and was amazing in every way. He even found out our table was celebrating an engagement and comped a couple glasses of sparkling! I had the pork belly Cubano with sweet potato fries. The sandwich is so good, lots of flavour. The sweet potato fries were SO crispy!! Will definitely return again!
Great view, pleasant staff and reasonable prices. You don't go here for the food but for drinks and chill vibes.
Went for dinner & drinks and was very happy with my choice to come to this place. The customer service was above & beyond my expectations from the moment we got there. Our server was very polite and quick with getting our drink orders in and his great service continued all night...I knocked over my drink which broke around my plate and my server was quick to replace my drink & food right away, on the house. The Mac & cheese with the braised beef was absolutely amazing! The drink menu is a little pricy but nothing out of the ordinary for Toronto cocktail prices. Other than that I was extremely happy with my meal & service.
Had been here 6 months ago and I remembered that the experience was outstanding. Came back with my partner and had outstanding customer service staff at soco are really great professional and polite. I took tortillas with breakfast potatoes which was really good and my partner had salmon which was also very delicious. Prices are reasonable you get breakfast for 2 for $40 if you stay with plates if you go for the buffet you do pay more.
Had the Mac and cheese, def would not recommend. Service was okay.
So we went here on Christmas eve, first of all the menu has changed, I had done my research based upon the previous reviews on what I have to eat but sadly they don't have it now! The current menu is limited, we ordered the Meat burger which came with fries, unfortunately one of the burger had hair in the fries. The server was kind enough to wave it out from the bill, but we were extremely hungry and had high expectations. Hopefully the next time I get to enjoy this place.
Excellent place for brunch. I would recommend their avocado benny with tater tots even though they would not seat us 10 mins early. The place had so many empty seats.
Great convenient location and friendly staff. Menu was plain and simple (but also nothing noteworthy). The view from the rooftop is worth the visit.
Very disappointed, they do not accommodate animals friend, even if your furry animal is in a bag. They gave the COVID-19 safety excuse meanwhile I can see a staff in the kitchen no gloves or mask. Really COVID-19 EXCUSE… So I request all pet owners dnt bother with this place.
I dropped in during carabana weekend for lunch and ordered the Jerk Mac and cheese. It was extremely delicious and the sauce was so deliciously smooth. The fries were light and so crisp.
We had such a good experience here, the food is excellent. We had the blueberry pancakes and the brunch burger. Definitely can't wait to go back and loved being taken care of by Michael who was fun and attentive.
Check your bill and read it carefully before paying, as you might be surprised later on with some items that you never ordered ???? and if you are coming from another province then forget about refunding your money ????
Food was okay. Service was bad. Person taking the orders was extremely rude. Menu didn’t have many options. Location and decor are nice.
Beautiful restaurant with food that lacked an identiry. That's the first thought I had as I set my fork down. I was just in tonight for a work dinner prior to a Raptors game. We were entertaining out of town colleagues so we made a reservation for six. Entering through the hotel entrance is confusing as there is no host stand. So we informed the first person to walk by that we were here. "I'll tell the host", Great. Thanks! There really should be a host stand at both entrances. Our server was good an attentive (with one exception), water was full, drink orders were taken and prompt. We ordered our starters, multiples of everything for the table. I have to say, it took a long time to hit our table, but was very good when it hit. We had a charcuterie board (plate) that was big and had a tasty selection. We also had the grilled calamari which was good but sparse, the tuna was very tasty & I didn't have a chance to have the arancini but they looked good. The time between starters and mains is where the let down really happened. Our mains weren't even taken for order before our starters, we had eaten most of the starters before orders were in. This was a let down as it took again a very long time for our meals to come out. While it was busy, it was not that busy. My main was a let down. I ordered the duck leg confit with a cassoulet stewed onion, a sweet jam of sorts and there were supposed to be lardons. Starting with the best, the jam and the cassoulet were very good, on it's own it would have been an interesting, balanced dish. The lardons were not there unless I missed them, but I was looking for them! The stewed onion, very good. The duck leg really needed some work. The meat of the leg was not the beautiful stringy fall off the bone you expect from a confit, there was no fat rendered from the leg, in fact there was a good 1/4 CM of fat under the skin. I peeled the skin off because I could not eat it. It was covered in what I can only describe as an ultra sweet BBQ sauce, which when paired with the fat under the skin made it rubbery. This was the frustrating point for me. The whole dish could have been redeemed by a crisp and salty skin! Overall the duck leg confit, as I said needs some serious refinement. It's trying to do far too much with what amounts to preserved meat. Overloaded with sweet elements and let down by a lack of umami or salt, there is a definite imbalance in the dish. The little green salad placed on it, but it didn't add texture, freshness or a shot of vinegar that the dish desperately needed to bring it to life. For the rest of the table, I heard 2 of 3 loved their burgers, one didn't. The other duck leg looked similar to mine but I didn't hear how they liked it, the steak "was a steak" and by far the winning dish was the chicken. It looked amazing and would be what I ordered if I went back.
This restaurant is at such an excellent location. The burgers were below average and the mac and cheese was a joke. Service was good and the interiors were inviting. Too bad the food didn't do justice to the price. So not worth it!
Decent bar, good service and sitting area, only downside is limited food option on the menu
Food was good but service was really slow. We had to go find our server multiple times. Took an hour before we hunted someone down to take our food order
Excellent service, yummy food. Tater tot poutine & Hibiscus Mule
Pretty handy restaurant is you're staying at the Delta. The prices are ok. You can get some happy hour apps for a great price. We did during the Summer of 2021, not sure if that's a regular thing. When the Jays are playing, it can be quite busy and congested here. Service was mediocre for us. I rarely drink alcohol so we didn't seem to get the service others were getting because of that, likely because of our bill not being as high, but service shouldn't depend on those factors. Next time we're here, we likely won't stop by here unless we're desperate. I feel like there are far better options. 2/5.
Great view of the CN tower. The food and service were equally pleasant.
The experience was mediocre. Caesar salad was very good.
Great location. 7-minute walk from MTCC. Had brunch here with a friend this morning. Ordered smoked salmon benny. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Server was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return & try some of their other offerings.
Dine in
Stayed at the hotel so this was the obvious place to dine and it did not disappoint. Had a bite before the game. The service was quick and efficient. The duck pizza was delicious. The steak was tender and cooked to our liking. The following …
Good attentive servers, convenient location directly off the lobby. Comfortable seating, parking underground immediately below and accessible to hotel. Meals are freshly prepared and average to high quality for a hotel dining room. Prices are $$$ (out of 4). All dietary options are considered.
