One of the best restaurant experiences I have EVER had. I have eaten in a lot of restaurants in many places! This is a dining experience with amazing service and great food.

I've really been looking forward to dining at Rasa and it was delicious. We started with the brussel sprouts with cauliflower sauce (yum!). Followed by the famous salad and burger, both delicious. We finished with their sticky bun, also …

We had a terrific dinner. Loved the salad, the ceviche and the Brussel sprouts. The duck was excellent as was the carrot cake. The ambience is great and the staff were friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Overall a fun evening.

Omg this place....I do not even know where to start. From the waitress being knowledgeable about wine pairing plus the food being so delicious, I am giving this place a 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend their tasting menu(they are able to adapt it to your needs I.e pescatarian or vegetarian). Honestly, I will come back.

Amazing restaurant. My wife and I came for the tasting menu on our anniversary. Everything from the duck, to the pasta and even the salad was incredible. Raven was hands down the best waitress we ve had since Covid started.

absolutely a must try!!! we had the classic menu where you devour six amazing dishes paired with wine...amazing!! the peanut jelly ice cream sandwich for dessert is out of this world. Our friendly knowledgeable server Kyra made the experience extra special.

I would consider the food to be overpriced here. It's tapas, so small plates, however, I feel like I should be getting more dishes for the price. I walked out hungry. The food is not bad, I would say salted with a heavy hand, couldn't finish the salad because of how salty it was. Well seasoned, nice presentation. Service was good. It's a price fix menu on Mondays (industry night), for $40. Around $52 per person after tax and tip. the interior was quite comfortable, even though we were seated by the door, it wasn't cold at all. For this price I got: Tiny Corn bread muffin + salsa Verde sauce (1 miniature corn bread muffin, just bigger than a twoonie in diameter) Chopped salad (half the bowl in photo, as they put two a two person portion in there, overly salted, beautiful presentation) Jerk chicken (very flavourful, 4 small drumsticks) Truffle Gnudi (truffle flavour was just a hint, 4 Gnudi nuggets) Malt chocolate cake (2 x 2 x 2 cm chocolate malt cake. If you add $5 you get a donut with it)

The food was so good I forgot to take pictures until the end. We had a few dietary restrictions and they still met all of them. Emily was wonderful and kept our drinks topped up and made sure we ate what was made without our restrictions. …

I just had the most fabulous meal at RASA. It was absolutely perfect and our server, Alex, went above and beyond. RASA continues to be one of my absolute favourite spots in the city. I cannot wait to go back!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful evening!!!!

Excellent/perfect service and food. Speechless. Will come back soon for sure! The flavors are esquisite, juicy, exotic, just flavorful. Love it love it love it. Thank you for making me & group's night. A must try. Must come. At a loss of words for how great.

What an amazing experience. Could only reserve the chef's table when I called, but I would definitely recommend reserving it. Chef David and Chef Adrian were so nice and helpful with the menu and made great conversation. Each item on the menu has about 4 bites. So if you have two couples everyone gets to try some and then some. The chopped salad was amazing and so were the brussel sprouts. The Wagyu beef is very tender. The shrimps were also very tastey. The thing we liked the least was the fish board, but it was all fresh and very tasty. The a sticky bun for desert was to die for. From what I understood all the food is prepared in house and the vegan yogurt was to die for. Amazing hidden gem in Toronto. Can't wait to go again.

Excellent service and beautiful, interesting food. Reasonably priced. Loved sitting at the bar and watching the chefs. Found the desserts quite heavy - couldn’t finish. But nothing to fault, highly recommend.

Our first time here as a large group (15 people) on a Saturday evening, & we were doing a surprise dinner for our friend. they allow you to byob ($35 corkage). there was a little mix up w.the menu for us but it was promptly rectified & the staff were so genuinely apologetic about it. over visit that night was a solid 5/5. service 5/5 its rare these days to visit such a high volume establishment & not come across at least 1 cranky employee. at rasa, everyone worked together like a well oiled machine, to keep things running smooth. great team work & atmosphere! *clap clap xinfinity!* atmosphere 5/5 space is a bit tight & the place dimly lit, but they set up 2 tables, 1 behind the other to accommodate us in the corner. the birthday girl was able to hop between tables to mingle w.us all. overall food 5/5 we did a set tasting menu consisting of like, i dont know, a bunch of tasty never ending dishes!! everything was so well cooked, we all enjoyed a very tasty dinner. oh, did i mention there was like 15 of us and her parents were there?!?!? asian parents, eating out, at a non asian restaurant, & enjoying the food!!! mind blown i tell ya. chopped salad 5/5 crunchy chick peas, cucumbers, feta cheese, chopped kale, cherry tomatoes, quinoa & whatever other magical ingredients they tossed in there, it was absolutely amazing! i can see why this is one of their signature dishes. its a salad! how can a salad be famous!? im a firm believer in "you dont make friends w.salad" but, i found my best friend last night at rasa! i love you forever! sea bream ceviche 5/5 + shrimp toast 5/5 + seared scallop & grits 5/5 i usually find seafood very 'fishy'. not here at rasa. they combine all these ingredients so well, it brings out the natural ocean taste without that 'fishiness'. delicious! duck breast 5/5 a lot of places will over cook these babies, making them chewy and just, blah. these guys here, cooked perfectly. its tender, juicy, and plated with a hoisin szechuan sauce & a sunchoke puree. *sunchokes are a root veggie of the sunflower plant family (thx google!) crispy lamb ribs 5/5 i normally pass on lamb bc of its gameyness. if done right, you wont get that malodorous bite. the chefs masked that and paired it with a spicy yogurt sauce and fermented blueberries (which was great)! sliced wagyu beef 5/5 juicy smoked tomatoes, poblano chilli chimichurri, a creamy hollandaise sauce & pickled celery root. this combination left our bellies yearning for more! Truffle gnudi 5/5 these bad boys are super crispy outside & deliciously fluffy inside. tossed with some assorted mushrooms and a walnut pesto sauce. this was one of my favourite last night! sticky bun dessert 5/5 tasted like a cinnamon bun w.maple bacon and icing. i think that's exactly what it was! so good! and im glad it wasnt overly sweet. Thank you rasa for an amazing dinner! we will be back for sure!

The service here is amazing! We ordered the chopped salad, branzino, lamb and chicken. My favorite was the chicken and chopped salad if I had to pick - both dishes had an overarching lemony flavour which I love. Everything we ate was delectable however. It's quite hard to get a reservation but lucky for us, it was pouring that day so a bunch of parties before us cancelled.

Bob Nag

What more can I say than wow! They accommodated some dining restrictions into their tasting menu and everything was beyond expectation. The bartender even hooked us up with an after dinner Tums! Amazing food, experience and great value! Will definitely be back.

Lediona Canellari

Cute place with extremely mediocre good at small portions. Servers were friendly but service and food were both very very slow. We were there on a Thursday night at I don’t recommend the place and I personally would not come back again. Steak tartare: Tastes very mediocre. Strong flavours (spicy and salty) but just strong, not exquisite or special Brussels sprout: Very saucy. Doesn’t tastes any better than a typical Brussels sprouts side Truffle gnudi: It doesn’t taste bad but just very mediocre. Sticky bun: again, nothing special. Just a typical cinnamon bun with some nuts.

One of the best dining experiences ever! We did the Full Experience Tasting Menu and everything was absolute amazing! I could not even pick a favourite dish, it was like a harmony of tastiness! I also had 2 cocktails (the Late Harvest Spritz and Harbord Sour) both had very subtle fall flavours and were just absolutely scrumptious! This was a last minute reservation and I could not be happier we ended up having this amazing experience at RASA! Lastly the service was absolutely superb we were accommodated as a super last minute reservation on a very busy Friday night. Our sever walked us through the menu and was very knowledgeable about every dish, it really elevated our experience. I look forward to visiting again!

I've never had better service in my life! I rarely leave google reviews but felt I had to this time. The entire team at RASA was so accommodating and really went out of their way to ensure our night was special. The food was amazing of course - mescal pasta, chopped salad, and the burger was incredible. We'll be back when our stomachs have more room for dessert!

Fiona

We went here on a Monday which is industry night. They do a prix fixe with set appetizers and dessert but a choice in the 2 main plates per person. We got a chickpea fritter, chopped salad, ceviche, fried chicken, gnudi and crispy fish. For dessert we had choclate cake. Well to sum it up, it was all delicious and just perfect. These were all dishes that I have never had quite the same version of. I've had ceviche but never with a satay style sauce. I've had deep fried chickpeas, but never in this presentation. Really only the dessert was something I could say was standard dish (still excellent ). I always thought maybe "New Canadian" cuisine was pretty unapproachable and pretentious. I was definitely wrong. The salad somehow had grapes and jalapeno feta and it worked well together. The crispy fish had chilli oil and some sweetness to it. Overall a great dinner for exactly what i would expect to pay for something of this high quality. Will definitely go again.

Potentially the best meal of my life. Came for a belated birthday get-together and had the seasonal tasting menu and some cocktails. Each dish was inventive and tasteful, with really incredible flavour combinations you’d never think of. Service was incredibly courteous and kind, accommodating dietary restrictions, too. Absolutely recommend for a memorable and delicious Toronto meal.

Charaka

Had the tasting menu, was consistently great throughout all the different dishes. Cocktails were great too.

Honestly, and very honestly, one of the best places I’ve dined in Toronto. Totally approachable, no-nonsense hearty creations served with pride and privilege. It’s as if the staff invited you into their homes. Food…simply wondrous portions of quality ingredients sumptuously served in a way that brings taste and interest to the palate. Thank you for the welcoming no-attitude gestures and service and food.

I found this place while looking for a place to take my girlfriend out to celebrate her birthday. When we go out she always gets excited about the food and the atmosphere and this place ticked both of those marks for her. The place has a cozy intimate atmosphere, with a bar and high stools and regular tables for few and many. They also had a live performer play when we went (she was really damn good). They have a Set Monday special tasting menu which starts off with a snack (ours were chips fried in bacon fat with garlic sour cream), followed by a stellar kale salad, the option to choose your appetizer and entree, and end with a sweet surprise and, if you're really feeling that sweet tooth, you can get a Simpson's inspired donut for extra. You can check those dishes out in the photo's I've uploaded. The appetizer and entree choices sounded all so good I wanted to order them all, and the wine selection special for that particular night was phenomenal. Pair the experience with them introducing the dishes one by one and it was truly a culinary experience. I was so satisfied with the place I gave the chefs a round of drinks. Absolutely recommended. 10/10

Amazing restaurant! The food was very filling, they started with an amuse-bouche that was stunning and tasted like a spicy pizza. We found everything we ordered to be delightful. Definitely would recommend the chopped salad, octopus and truffle gnudi. Our waiters were kind, relaxed and attentive. The sidewalk patio was very enjoyable. All in all we were surprised and very pleased with the experience.

Catherine C

The octopus and ceviche especially stood out, highly recommend! Loved the snack/appetizer as well. I didn’t find too many of the other dishes as noteworthy. Presentation is top notch and so was service. Ambiance is quite dim and rustic.

So disappointed, so I wait too long to wrote this. Been there in last year Aug. 11th. Was celebrate our monthiversary. The tasting menu not worth it at all. It seems pretty cheap $65 for each person. But actually two ppl sharing those food. So I feel I got fraud. Beside this, the food are not tasty as well. Only good for photos.

Went for their Monday special - the food was good, very unique in taste and presentation. The brussel sprouts we're delicious! But very pricey for what you get. Great Americanos and service was excellent too.

Spectacular experience. Chef Adrian is a visionary. We came here and sat on the patio, enjoyed some amazing dishes and great service. First the ceviche: wow. The spice, fresh fish, citrus and crunchy pieces fit together spectacularly. My favourite dish of the evening. Salad: stunning presentation, fresh flavours and delicious fried chickpeas! Halibut: crispy, perfectly cooked and soooo juicy it was an amazing addition to our meal! Duck breast: really nice sauce but probably my least favourite out of everything. Hands down my favourite meal this summer. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Alexandra Isabel Del Val

Came here for the experience and it was a great 8 + dessert course meal. Service was superb and friendly, giving us great suggestions and introductions to the dishes. The ceviche in particular was excellent as was the truffle gnocchi. They even managed to make salad a delight to eat. I would come back again just for the ceviche! I would recommend if you're indecisive like me, to order this to get a great taste of almost their entire menu.

Ivan Mo

This was a real treat. The combination of flavours and textures was amazing. Definitely going back!

I loved this spot. We went for brunch, the menu is small; the produce is fresh and so much thought is put into the food. We got the chicken and waffles and the oatmeal waffles. Oatmeal waffles were a little on the small side, but every bite was magical! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Came here and had the tasting menu with a date. Absolutely amazing meal. For $69 it’s probably the best value tasting menu in the entire city. I came here on an empty stomach and still couldn’t finish everything. The burger is an absolute stand out and deserves a spot on the best burgers in the city. The duck breast was spot on. The salad had great texture. The fish was fresh. Service was great. Everything was spot on and chefs were really on their game this Friday night. Please follow my foodie adventures @doctoreeat

Cozy spot for a night out with my husband. This place has a fusion of flavours/cuisines & we had a great experience. Our server was very sweet & down to earth. …

They have some staple menu and some seasonal ones. Started with their chopped salad (should be available as it is one of their most popular dish). The green smear on the bowl is a salty, Imani hummus. We were a big fan of the crunchy …

Excellent experience, from food quality, value for money, service, atmosphere and decor. Booked a reservation for 2, tried out the full tasting menu experience. Our of 9 plates, there was one plate that tasted just shy of excellent, but that was more about food preferences rather than quality of preparation. Service was prompt, kind and friendly without being pushy or annoying like in some corporate restaurants. Huge compliments to the chef, and landing at the top of my recommendation list for restaurants in Toronto.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten and amazing service! I'll be coming back and trying out some of the other food on the menu. Brussel sprouts, cauliflower and bone marrow were my favorites.

Had the chopped salad, the octopus, halibut and duck. The name of the chopped salad doesn't give it full credit - it is probably the best thing in the menu! ( in a good way). Nice balance of flavors and smart use of crispy chickpeas. The halibut was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and the octopus had a nice texture. I think the temperature on the duck was off though as the fat lining was still sinewy. The plates were also at best lukewarm - wished they had come piping hot. Overall excellent experience especially during these times! Thank you Rasa

Amazing food and great service. Their chopped salad and brussels sprouts are delicious! A must have whenever I come to this place. Try their set menu on Mondays. There's live music and great vibes!

Rustic decor. Tried tasting menu. Everything was quite good. Amazing presentation. Nothing very delicious in my opinion though. Liked burger the most. Cinnamon bun was good as home made ice cream. People around were too loud.

You need reservation for the Patio . Great shareable plates . I loved the ceviche . try their Cocktails . I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to chill with a group of friend to enjoy food , nice Patio , great vibe and super friendly staff

Had a fantastic birthday dinner for my sister here the other night. The food was incredible and vibe was great. More than anything huge thanks to the staff for going above and beyond to make my sister feel extra special for her birthday and to give a personal touch to our service. Can’t recommend this place enough.
