My friends and I had a great time at The Loose Moose. The food and drinks were really good (the mango mai tai was delicious!) and the servers were all very friendly and attentive. Our server, Jordan, was seriously the best—when we had another customer coming to our table, a fairly drunk guy, he kept checking in to make sure we were all right. He was amazing! We’ll definitely be coming back here more often.
70 + beers, and some great food. Had the Woody burger, pretty good! There are a lot of tvs, so catching the game, Leafs, Jays, raptors or TFC is not a problem. Staff are really good, and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. I would definitely go back. Sunday evening was pretty quiet, but weekends and evenings are a lot busier.
Nice place to grab a couple of drinks before you jump on the train. Interesting internal decor and over 65 beers on tap.
Really good tasting food and decent portions. Had a large drink menu. Not too much food selection. Good bar atmosphere. Really friendly staff. Seating wasn't the most comfortable, only options where bar stools and wooden benches.
Great hangout spot with friends. Located downtown near union stn. Great place to sto by before and after the game! Lots of variety on the menu. We decided to try the platter and some guacamole! Yum!!
Came here before the Jays game and it was perfect. Lineup was less than 15 mins and the food came out really fast and it was delicious. Best of all the service was great!
New to Toronto and tried this bar out just recently. I had some of the best Buffalo wings I’ve ever tasted. Great selection of beers and drinks too. And the music isn’t too loud to distract from a conversation. Highly recommend it, and the premium is worth it.
Went with some friends on Friday Aug 23rd. Waited about a half hour for a table but that’s to be expected downtown TO on a weekend. The burger was great, fries were alright. We also ordered some deep fried pickles which came with two dips both were excellent. Restaurant was playing all 90s/early 2000s hits which was fun throwback music for our group who grew up on it. Only complaint is that the music was insanely loud, I couldn’t hear what the person across the table was saying to me without having them literally screaming at me. Makes for a less enjoyable meal when I can’t enjoy the company I’m with.
First stop in Toronto. Easy to find, we walked up and the pub is upstairs. We missed the lunch rush, so it was quiet and we were seated right away. The pub is clean and while a little dark, it was clean and friendly. We decided to try the fish and chips. They came out hot and crispy. And so good. The chips were fresh and wonderfully flavored. Service was great and nice.
It was busy when I went because of an expo but the food came out so quick and it was great! Try the Buffalo/Nashville wings if youre into wings!!
Thanks for making our visit a unforgettable night! Staff made the visit a memory I will never forget!! Will be back 100%
I’ve always had a good time here over the past 6 years I’ve worked downtown. 1) Service is very attentive. They plated the lettuce, pickles, and tomato separately and split a burger order into two plates (yes, I’m THAT person when I eat …

The food was okay. The atmosphere was nice. Maybe I'm getting old but the music seemed a smidge too loud, lol. I'd go again, especially in a group setting.
The waitress was lovely, I have no complaints about her. The management was an as*whole and took drinks away from manny people in my party expecting us to be charged when we would have 1 or 2 sips from them if any. Table spacing was trash and the placement at the back was up to them to work out prior to our arrival, they told us to make space in a cramped back room. Also tip is included yet I tipped without knowing the tip was included.
Place was great overall! Staff were amazing. Cocktails were awesome. A bit overpriced burgers but hey its all part of the experience! Great place to have drinks and catch a game.
My wife and I split a grilled chicken sandwich, an order of poutine and some yam frites (aka Sweet Potato Fries). Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! Look at the photo - doesn't it look great?!? …
This place is home to my favorite chicken wings and nachos! Great place to go to watch a game and get fast/good service downtown Toronto. A personal favorite of mine! Only reason not 5 stars is because it is not as well clean as it could be and the tables are often sticky.
The drinks over here is so amazing. The starters are so delicious, chicken wings and jalapeno poppers are the best. I suggest their signature burger and sandwiches for the main course, also their spicy rice bowls is also good and healthy. Coming to the dessert, if you have a sweet tooth you have got two option for dessert, brownie with plain vanilla ice cream and salted caramel donut. They have an exotic display of antique collections that makes this place look eccentric. If you love moose, hockey, beer this is the best place to enjoy the three.
The menu has downsized a decent amount since reopening so expect some favorites to not be there, e.g. cauliflower bites. …
Good burger (The Woody) good service, I was eating alone and at least 3 servers came to check on me. The menu is a little sparse. Very loud music, not a place to have an in depth conversation.
Times are different, but good pub grub should always remain comforting. With the Loose Moose - the food, and the service bring both comfort and reassurance during these challenging times. The absence of atmosphere, the laughter, the sounds of cheering fans, and lively customers may be missing, but it still feels good to visit.
Great place to eat and hang out. Mojitos are sooo good, lots of beer options and super fast service even when it was packed.
We had a team dinner here on a Wednesday night, five of us were seated right away about 7 PM. We ordered appetizers and drinks and then dinner. The appetizers were pretty good; chips and guacamole, chips and cheese dip, and some sort of massive French fry creation. No way could we finish the massive thing but it was all tasty. They have a large selection of beer on the menu but the first three I tried to order were all out which was pretty frustrating because the server was slow. On the first order she delivered drinks for the others and told them they didn't have the beer I ordered (I was at the end of the table and it's a loud sports bar), then walked away without asking me what I'd like instead. Who does that? Finally I ordered a bottle of beer that I could actually see in the fridge behind the bar. Food came out in a reasonable time and was good. I ordered steak frites which was tasty but the steak was tiny, which in the end was fine given the apps. A vegetarian colleague ordered a veggie burger and said it was dry. Everybody else was pleased. Bottom line is that if you like a sports bar you will like this place. They have some opportunities with their waitstaff and could maybe use more vegetarian options.
One of the best place to hangout with friends on a Friday evening and Alice was really great serving and greeting us, very welcoming!
Loved the atmosphere appetizers and beers . Just good pub
ample seating available. was almost empty when we went there on a friday evening ! service was slow even thought they had less crowd. chicken wings were mind blowing. we tried HOT and garlic one! Super yummy!! The person who checks …

Friendly, fast and amazing service. Always great for a stop after the Leafs game. Especially after a 'W'. Easily accessible by TTC, public transit. Would not recommend driving. Parking available in the area. Limited parking depending and Date/Time. Always looking forward to going back again.
Nice cozy place downstairs. Got that all wooded rustic cabin feel. Good long bar tables for big groups. Place can be a little too dark in far corners but if your looking for small group privacy, go there. No waitress on the floor when we went. Had to order food at the bar but they delivered it to our table.
For its location, this place has good food. The fully loaded poutine was also fantastic. However the chicken and fish were not very well seasoned and service is not the greatest. Big portions though.
Awesome ambiance and service. My kids loved it! Hopefully restaurants will reopen soon and we can we joy one of the classics of Toronto one more time!
The atmosphere is great. Huge bar with a great selection. Being a big hockey fan I was pleased to have hockey on all TVs. The nachos hit the spot and the serving size was too much for my wife and I. My wife got the loaded mac and cheese and I got the Grilled Mac and Cheese Sandwich. Both were delicious and filling. US visitors - Pay with a credit card as the exchange rate for cash is extremely unfavorable there.
Satisfactory bar. I went there for brunch (after noon). Cool ambiance and decor. Location was amazing. The truffle fries were yummy. I ordered a mimosa and was given a flute of champagne and a separate glass of orange juice. I asked for a second flute so I can get the two drinks into one glass - took about 20 min. Then the music got turned up and it was hard to hear my friends. Not my style to rock out that loud on a Sat at 1pm. Overall, for me, the Loose Moose was good.
Great service for a large group, aand amazing waitresses. They have a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices and their appetizers and delicious.
Meal type
Good American Western food. Atmosphere is great with it being crowded for the Raptors and Leafs games. Industrial bar setting with alot of seating. Not a quiet place. They have wide range of food and beverages. Good burgers for meat lover. Poutine was ok but the cheese kurd didn't melt. You can't go wrong with the burgers.
Was served by far the best White Russian I've had in my life. The craft beer on tap was amazing (Cloud-something). Way too much ice in my Cucumber mixed drink (3/4 of a glass). Will definitely be a return patron, the staff was incredible.
Great deal on wings! Boyfriend got the light and dark duo beer combo for $6. Caesars were on point, well made. Our server was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and in the zone. Good vibes and the ambience /decor of the restaurant makes for a relaxed evening out. We'll be back!!
Food is okay here I had the spicy Mexican bowl, for the price it could have been a bit bigger or come with a side. A 2oz old fashioned with an orange peel in it runs around $14. …
Good food and effective staff. Music a bit loud for my taste but probably fine for most. Enjoyed the manager's? sense of humour.
A great place to pound beers before the game. (Or stay and watch the game). Classic Toronto mainstay.
Great place everyone was super friendly. Had the Sawdust City Skinny Dipping Stout. Amazing my new top three beer.
Our service was really good - friendly, always had a fresh drink and the atmosphere was fun.
Food was standard, however the chicken bites were fantastic. For a not-so-busy lunchtime the service was on the slow side, especially since we were in a rush. The prices are reasonable and they have a dedicated 12$ lunch menu.
Service
This a nice pub for a night out with buddies. It has a cool interior, ambience and atmosphere. The music is not too loud and did not get in the way of having a conversation. Good selection of beers. I've had some good veggie burgers here in …
One of the more spacious bars I've been to that looks like it could seat at least 100 people. The service was great and my server was very kind. The Oklahoma sliders were incredibly delicious, however it's unfortunate they don't come in a …
Moose bar is one of these bars serving good drink and good food. We had a few pints of Guinness and the famous Poutine which is french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy.
Unfortunately, I would have say that I enjoyed but I did not. Even the picture is appetizing, and the restaurant is well rated, the Wagyu ground beef steak was a way too much of overcooked (I know ground beef has to be well cooked but it was dry) which is sad for this kind of beef. The waitress only came once to ask if I was enjoying my meal and it's was before I took a bite of my meal. As I'm writing this review, I finished my meal for at least 10 minutes and she still hasn't come to see me yet, or to ask me if it was good. Oh... She came to take away my plate and she didn't even asked me if I enjoyed... It can happen that a steak is overcooked but what shocked me the most is the lack of good service.
If you're hungry, anywhere in Toronto, you need to go The Loose Moose. I was visiting for a week from Nashville. My wife was searching for some decent poutine and found this place. Inside, there was plenty of seating area. I could see it filling up during peak hours, but it's definitely not a cramped place. We ended up with a stack of buffalo wings, fried pickles, and some loaded poutine. This was the first time I've had poutine (so I don't have another to compare it to), but it was great! The portion was enough to be a meal on it's own. The wings were good, borderline great. Nothing to complain about, flavored well, and a decent size. The fried pickles were fried and flavored well, but the pickle itself was a little on the chewy side, and they all slid completely out of the breading. The parking is as terrible as any other business downtown, but there is paid parking around the area. The service was excellent though, and the atmosphere was great! I'd definitely recommend this place.
Hot spot to visit before any event downtown. Great selection of beers on tap, and a tasty menu of food choices. Service can be delayed during busier times, but only as a result of how truly busy they get. Be prepared before Leaf, Raptors, or Jays games to be waiting a little bit. Great that they have both the upstairs and downstairs to hang out though
Huge bar. Lots of beer options. Truffle fries were great too. One of the managers, Ray, is a great dude.
Been a few years since I visited but I’ve always loved the experience! Great menu options for everyone and fantastic cocktails! Great place to meet with friends or enjoy after a game!
Great service, delicious food, and familiar music. I especially liked that they were clean and happy to clean. We had a fun and safe Saturday evening!
The Poutine is the best east of Vancouver BC, fresh cut potatoes and cheese curds, absolutely tasteful, ambience is excellent and relaxing. Nachos done perfectly. Service is excellent and prompt.
My wife and I vacationed in Canada from the US for a week recently, and this restaurant was our unanimous favorite. I had the loaded poutine and it was incredible--best poutine I've ever had. My wife had a burger and it was top notch as …
Had a great time here tonight! Staff was amazing !
Great ambience, excellent chicken wings and a lot of beers to choose from.
We visited this place for lunch with a group of 24 people on Sunday Nov 11, 2021. We had fun and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The waitress was very nice but had to manage 6 families of 4 each. We paid and left. as soon as we were in …
Jordan thank you for the perfect (albeit out of the menu) Long Island Iced Tea ! I’m such a happy tipsy for the first time since India ???? We had their chicken wings with blue cheese dip and hot sauce - amazing ! My husband loved the calamari ! Jordan was oh so wonderful - kept checking every now and then if we needed anything. Service was super prompt, music was just enough to enjoy as well as have a conversation . Loved the place !!!
Love the place, the vibe, great service and staff!! I forgot to mention the music!
The staff and waitress were amazing. They kept up with the volume of people in the bar and table settings very efficiently, also kept social distancing rules which the volume of customers they had. 5/5 for the staff. The menu was also very authentic compared to alot of bar/ restaurant's I've seen. They keep the food flowing and we didn't wait very long at all for a 4 person table getting Mains and apps plus alcohol. Overall one of my faveourite places to go before going to a venue or a show. Highly recommended 5/5
Worst experience ever, the server was so rude. When asked for a refill, he up front confirmed the price first like are you judging people or what ? Like you think the customer doesn’t know what he/she is going to order and whether or not they can pay for it. Just lost 4 customers since we were a group of 4. Respect your customers!
I was pretty excited to try this on my trip to Canada as the name seemed most definitely Canadian. The staff and service were phenomenal; everyone was eager to take care of us. However, the food was mediocre. I didn't care for the fries, and the burger was a bit too done. My son's fish was a bit rubbery and not very crispy. I was hoping to have found a fantastic place to eat but I suspect it's a better place to drink. The atmosphere was most definitely laid back with a moose head above the bar, cow's butts hanging from the wall, and an array of stereo equipment. The best part for me was that all of the televisions had hockey on, however, it was a Saturday night so I assume any bar in Canada would. Anyway, the overall experience was not terrible but I probably wouldn't come back on my next trip just for the food - I would need to order a few drinks.
Food and atmosphere are great. I usually drop by on my way to games (Leafs/Raps/Jays). With the most recent visit (Sept 2021). They had COVID protocols in place, were checking vaccination status and took contact info for tracing. I appreciate their efforts and feel it was well done and organized.
Busy place on Leafs game night but no wait at door. Food was good and priced about right. Service was fast but they were a bit disorganized. We had to ask for condiments twice and even ask for cutlery after our meal was served.
We had a weekend getaway in Toronto, attending Fan Expo and Beyond Monet. The Loose Moose was conveniently located near our hotel. We enjoyed the Notorious M.A.C. burger so much, that my son and I returned the next day too.
Excellent beer tap selection. Decent prices. Food was great. Typical pub experience with great service. Location was convenient to Union Station and Metro Convention Centre. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the city.
Service was great. Nachos were a bit dry but the waiter offered extra sour cream and salsa ????.
The only thing this place has got going is atmosphere and location (close to skydome and the Scotiabank arena) - pulling in the massive reviews. There are better food elsewhere if you don't mind the distance. If you like overly greasy and heavily salted food guess then step right in.
Large and busy after sports games! Lots of selection of beer and pretty good food. Service was decent.
This was by far the greatest chicken burger I have ever eaten. Like seriously that chef on the night I went was absolutely feeling it because he definitely knew what he was doing. The Nashville hot was amazing and the desert was a slice of heaven. I regret nothing and loved every moment of it.
The food is good and so is the atmosphere. The waitress was really helpful and accommodating. The background music gives it a nice vibe. The food came quickly and was good. Unfortunately, we were waiting a long time for the water and for the check. Would recommend this place for small groups.
Been sitting 25 minutes. Unless you are a 20 something male, no one cares. I can't rate the food because we didn't get any that we ordered; not for lack of ordering though. Maybe the tables that came in after us will...
Great pub for a quick bite and friendly service. Drinks were top notch and prices were equally pleasing. Love the decor and overall atmosphere!
Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent- great selection, warm when we got it and server constantly made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a hot spot on front street before a game so make a reservation if there’s an event going on downtown.
Decent place, can get a bit loud and crowded but food was good and service was pleasant. Would recommend for a quick bite or for drinks. Chicken sandwich and wings were bomb but wasn't too happy with the sliders.
Large selection of food and beer. Prices are decent for the area ($20-$30 a head) and the staff was nice. I went with a group of four without reservations on a Thursday night and we were able to get a seat without waiting. I would not assume the same for the weekend. Enjoyable experience with nothing particularly wrong. But definitely a solid place to eat.
This is one of our favourite go to places when we visit lower downtown Toronto, love the selection of beers ???? on tap possibly 80?, my favourite is the Brimstone Sinister Minister, the food is very good aswell. The atmosphere is perfect ????, Always a great time, good clientele, the bartenders & staff are very friendly, courteous & helpful. I feel at home when I walk in the front door. lol. Love it. ????????
