The owner is a great guy. Great food. However tonight we ordered food ahead of time and we arrived on the time it says on the app. The food wasn’t ready at all and the guy made us wait for more than 30 minutes and made food for people waiting behind us in the line. The owner was not here tonight and this guy who was making food was not wearing gloves in both hand. Very unhygienic.

A lots of good options, mixed shawarma wrap is my favorite ???? they also have a french fries + nuggets kids meal that comes with a drink . The people there are super friendly and so kind, there are so super patient and never rush you through your order. It helps you decide what you wanna try ???? if something looks yummy on the menu and you are not sure what it is , just ask them.and they will explain with a smile.????

I've been very selective about the places I choose to get take-out from during these Covid times. Most food doesn't travel well and re-heating ruins the rest. Last night at 9:30 I got the chicken shawarma dinner recommended by the owner, a very friendly, hard working man. It was the best meal I've had from a restaurant in months! Oh, and the baklava is to die for.

Finally a decent shwarma place in St. Catharines. The 4.5 star review doesn't lie. Their food was really good. I'm this end of the world, most definitely a winner. The last time I went to a shwarma place in St Catherines, we left traumatized by what we had eaten lol. The beef shawarma plate was delicious. Loved my chicken shawarma as well but I loved my husbands beef platter more. Their garlic sauce is killer. And hummus was equally good as well. We also had their beef samosas which were not bad, but could be a bit more crispy and spicy. All in all I was overall pleased with this place. Love how it's open till midnight every day. Very unimpressed. I ordered a chicken shawarma platter, and for the price paid the portion was very small compared to most other places I have ordered from in the past. The chicken that was rotating on the spit was not the chicken used, the stuff he gave me was taken out from the fridge and then reheated on the flat-top. Then he did not ask what veggies or anything I wanted, just put a small bit of lettuce and some pickles in, Also the toum (garlic sauce) had almost no garlic taste and looked more like mayonnaise. I'm really hoping it was just an off day there as the reviews all looked good, but I was really hoping for better, even -just- using fresh chicken cut off the spit would have made it acceptable.

Ordered from skip the dishes ... called them afterward to request my garlic sauce to be on the side and make sure a pita came with the order he said ok. I then get a call from skip the dishes wanting me to pay 1.25 for garlic and pita over the phone. I’m not concerned about the amount of money, I’m confused as to why this is the only place in my life I’ve gotten shawarma that doesn’t already include garlic and pita in a shawarma plate. I think it’s super petty that this place called skip the dishes to make me pay for this. It’s also petty that I’m writing a review on this ... but I mean - add garlic sauce at least to your shawarma plates... it only makes logical sense.

Best schwarma in the city. So glad I found this place!! A friend from out of town told me she makes a 40 minute drive for it! I can now see why. The Owner is very kind and personable.. id also say the owner has a sharp memory with different orders etc. Food doesn’t take long to make, but I like calling my order in ahead just incase. Definitely worth stopping in. They also offer it through skip the dishes. Just sayin..

This is the place to have Shawarma. This is the best place in the golden horse shoe area. I have had shawarma from Toronto to St. Catharines and this is the best you can get. If you have tried it and did not like it then come here to Shawarma Hut Plus and try it again. The owner is great and so is the food. 11:30 for a plate ? Go to any shwarma place in St. Catharines it's cheaper .., the food is descent but definitely over priced go to villa shawarma Across the street you won't be disappointed ! The pictures that people post of their plate actually being filled up all three times I came here it was under filled so stopped coming ! If your charging 12 bucks plus a dollar extra for pita bread actually fill it up !

The chicken shawarma was good. Don't recommend the gyro as its processed meat. The young gentleman working wanted to charge me for a gyro when I decided to change my order to a chicken shawarma because the gyro was processed I didn't want it. Thankfully the owner was there and said disregard what the employee said and took excellent care of me,thank you. I ended up ordering 2 chicken shawarma dinner plates and it was good. Hopefully the owner had a talk with his employee,customer service is crucial for a successful business. Thanks again to the owner for stepping up and helping me.

Overall terrible experience. The debit machine automatically tips 15 percent. I asked for a chicken shawarma, the man asked if i wanted it on white, I said yes. The services took 15 minutes and I had 1 Wrap and there was 1 other person in the place. When I was called up to chose my toppings it was in a box. I asked if I could have a wrap as I had asked for, once i received the wrap it was about the size of a snack wrap from McDonalds and costed 14 dollars with the tip which was not optional.

This place is SO overhyped. I had the chicken shawarma poutine (which is listed on the menu as $11 or so, but is actually almost $13 now) and a "garden salad" which was $9. The salad was literally two little handfuls of lettuce with some pickled veggies (turnips etc) and sliced onions...for $9!! Literally pickled veg from a jar and some lettuce and it was SUPER salty, and a small portion. Such a rip off. The poutine was also super salty and the gravy was chunky, like it wasn't re-heated properly or something. The service was really friendly but the food was not great.

I haven't had much Shawarma so it's hard for me to compare to other places but overall the chicken shawarma wrap and falafel was delicious. The store is clean and inviting. The owner is friendly and cares about his product. I wouldn't hesitate to return. A bit of a wait for food as they seem very busy with online orders, but worth the wait if you ask me. Busy with orders must mean they are doing something right! Give this spot a try, I was impressed.

One of the best shawarma places outside of Dearborn, Michigan. We got chicken and beef wraps, they were amazing. Got a falafel plate and the flalfels were perfect not too salty like many places end up making them. The location was very clean which is so hard to find these days.

the food here is alright but it is basic! Shawarma chicken dinner with salad is one of the iconic meals at any shawarma place. However, my family always washes our rice and I can tell the difference between washed rice and un washed rice. Unwashed rice is not as soft and the texture of it is different (doesn’t matter which type of rice). This place is not worth the hype

The worst restaurant in Canada ever. I made a mistake in coming to me. I am a shawarma chef. This restaurant places the old pickle that has nothing to do with shawarma. I do not recommend it until it is expensive. He does not even change gloves when he speaks on the phone that he is pursuing his work must be sanctioned by health I paid 100 for food. I threw it in the garbage, because I can be poisoned. This has nothing to do with hygiene. I did not return it. Take the traps that will not help you.

My brother and I get shawarmas from here all the time and we've never been disappointed. The owner is super friendly and remembers us. Only problem I have is its set the bar very high so I won't eat shawarma anywhere else lol, not to mention the garlic sauce he makes is unreal.

This is my favourite Shawarma in Niagara, by a long shot (and I believe I have eaten at most if not all of them). Mohammad, the owner, is a great man and lovely to talk to. I got to know him through my regular visits to his store, both at his new (and improved) location and before that at his old spot. He is passionate business owner, and appreciative of his customers. The shawarma plates are great, but to me nothing beats the shawarma in a pita with extra chicken and extra hot sauce. I have brought all my friends and it’s always been a hit, for lunch and dinners.

An honest review from a local customer of 5+ years! Let me start off with this: The 1 star reviews you see below are (in my opinion) completely unwarranted. Please ignore them and don't waste your money at Zam Zam Shawarma across the street or Villa Madina in the Pen Centre. Go to Shawarma Hut Plus because it's the best tasting Shawarma around! Mohammed is also very polite and super nice! I have eaten Shawarma in Hamilton, Toronto, and other places in St. Catharines in the past and Mohammed really knows how to make the BEST shawarma. I was a customer from his old location, and this new location is freshly renovated with brand new tables and chairs and new cooking equipment. Everything is super neat and clean. I can't and will not eat Shawarma anywhere else! I have had the following dishes: Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Chicken Shawarma Plate, Beef and Gyro plate, Falafel wrap and plate. All of them have been super delicious! The portions are big on the plates. The plates come with the meat of choice (or falafel if you do not eat meat), rice, salad and hummus/garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is AMAZING! The wraps are also stuffed very generously with lettuce, onions, pickled cabbage and turnips, pickles, hummus, garlic sauce, tahini and hot sauce. The wraps are super filling. I bring all of my friends and relatives to Shawarma Hut and will continue to do so for years to come!

I actually work here and I decided to react to the unsatisfied clients who wrote here before me. A real insider has to comment back as well, so here I am ???? When you are outside the kitchen you can't see what is happening behind the counter. You can't tell your number in our orders list! When you step in and give your order, you may not be the only one who we are serving even if you are alone in the restaurent. We receive a lot of pick ups and online orders through Skip the dishes, doordash and uber eats. Therefore, we are trained to give priority to the present costumers. So please don't feel offended if your wrap or plate is ready in 15 minutes in a look like empty tables ! We do our best to deliver your greatest experience in our place. We love your good reviews and this help us keep doing things better and better. Bad reviews can be of a great help if the client show a bit of understanding of how busy we can be to serve you all. I had the chicken shwarma and it was great Please do not listen to the 1 start ratings they are wrong. Try the new Shwarma hut! You will not be disappointed! And this place is WAY better then Zam Zam Shwarma

We picked up food here tonight and there was only one staff working who was completely inundated with online, phone and in-person orders. Words can not describe how hard this woman was working. She was managing a lot of orders and impatient customers. She remained calm, patient and professional in her dealings with customers while doing a LOT of multitasking. I seriously might have walked out if that were me but she managed a really busy night so well. This woman seriously deserves a raise! She is awesome! Also the food was delicious! We’ll eat here again.

I provided my initial rating 3 years ago on google for Shawarma Hut Plus and still today my opinion has not changed. Shawarma Hut Plus is one of the best Shawarma restuarants I have visited across St. Catharines and Welland. Wish they had a location in Welland, but I visit (or order through DoorDash) at least once or twice a month. They are always consistant with the quality of there food. And the owner is friendly and really wants to ensure his customers leave happy. I always order the Chicken Shawarma Platter with all 3 sauces (Tahini, Hot, and Garlic) and love it every time. Thanks for the great Lunches :)
