Hands down the best eggs Benedict (I got the Canadian) I have ever had. All the staff was incredibly friendly - even the people not serving us that I just walked past! My coffee cup never went empty & I can’t get over the eggs Benedict. There is limited seating so make sure you get here early or you may have to wait

Awesome place to have a Canadian breakfast. Staff is extremely friendly and so were the owners! They say they do not accept credit cards, only U.S and Canadian cash and Canadian debit. But after speaking with the owners they said that they did but there was a 3% charge since that would be the fee they would be charged. Which was nice big deal. So I was extremely happy and my son enjoyed there massive kids burger!

We stayed across the street at the Howard Johnson Hotel. I saw a recommendation on Facebook and we tried it out. Luckily we got a table right away, tea was served quick and once we placed our order it was about 10 minutes and it had arrived already. The classic breakfast was great, the hash round are awesome as well as the serving of bacon. The BLT was huge as well. The service was wonderful as well. We will be back as soon as we can!

Overall terrible experience. Drove 30 mins and they were randomly closed last wk, nothing on their website or voice mail indicated as such which is very poor customer service and a huge waste of my time. Stupidly went back again and found the food and service quite mediocre, not quality food at all and very slow. Don't know how it get's such good reviews

Cosy restaurant with a variety of breakfast options. The food tasted amazing with very generous portions and cost a fraction of what the bigger chains charge. The restaurant is family run and everyone was super nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend them!

Came here for breakfast after reading the positive reviews. We each had one of the special Bennies, Greek and Chicago, and both were ridiculously good. The service here is wonderful-thorough and friendly. The owner touches each table with a visit, coffee pot in hand. The menu prices are reasonable, when so many other restaurants in Niagara are a ripoff. Well done all, as each staff member we encountered were great! Next time we return to Niagara Falls we’ll be back.

So happy we went to check out this little gem ! Being Celiac and navigating eating is always difficult. When you walk into a store and instantly you feel comfortable because the waitress has celiac herself . If you are looking for a local mom and a shop and GLUTEN free options look no further . Affordable and safe in Niagara !

Great spot for breakfast/lunch! My family was in Niagara Falls to celebrate a special birthday and we were staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. There is no breakfast available at the Hotel due to Covid resulting from Covid. I had researched places to eat prior to our trip and found Scoops had excellent ratings. We were very very happy that we found this spot, the restaurant is bright, very very clean, the wait staff are very welcoming, professional and provided us with great service. The food was fresh, hot, plentiful and delicious. Three of us had the Classic Breakfast with bacon, eggs, home fries and toast. My daughter had the Reuben Sandwich with French fries which she said was wonderful. My daughter-in-law had a breakfast wrap and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The prices as very reasonable, particularly in an area where food prices in restaurants can be extremely high with added tourist taxes. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, friendly faces and fair prices! We will return whenever we are in the area. SCOOPS is excellent!

After reading the reviews online we decided to check out Scoops restaurant in Niagara Falls before heading home for the weekend. Upon arrival, the restaurant was packed and we had about a 15 minute wait before we could get a seat. While waiting they addressed everyone who is coming up behind us by name as well as those seated. Scoops restaurant is definitely a place where everybody knows your name. Once seated we ordered omelettes for our breakfast which were delicious. The home fries are panfried and just as tasty. If you are hungry make sure you ask for additional egg in your omelette. Before we were finished they asked if we wanted some extra hashbrowns. They brought them out and there was no additional charge(added bonus).

By far, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I like having the option of substituting for turkey bacon. Also their hollandaise sauce was really good. Service was also amazing, friendly and very prompt.

Excellent breakfast! I was there today for the first time since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease after researching gluten-free or at least gluten-friendly restaurants in the area. I read reviews that indicated the owner was celiac. I used to go here often for breakfast before my diagnosis; so I knew the food would be good as long as it was safe for me! I identified myself as being Celiac and my waitress, Lisa, let me know that she, too, has CD and would ensure there was no cross contamination and that my meal would be safe for me; she got it! She was great at indicating what I could have (just about everything available aside from one or two things). She was pleasant and very knowledgeable! It was so great to be to eat without worry. I had one of the eggs Benny dishes the offer with a GF English muffin and it was so good! I definitely recommend Scoops for a delish breakfast/lunch; especially if you are looking for a gluten-free/friendly restaurant! and for their attention to food safety in order to eliminate cross contamination!

This is the worst breakfast place in canada I have eaten breakfast from Toronto to Vancouver and this was the worst . Not only will I not be returning I was kicked out! I asked for extra crispy homefries and I got a plate of potato chips, I told them I wanted regular potatoes and they gave me mush. The potatoes were boiled and not fried at all . They did not refill my coffee or My daughters iced tea for a half hour and when they finally did , they gave her hot tea ! They charged me 5 dollars for extra potatoes that I had already sent back and when I complained about it. They became very rude and then tried to charge me a extra 3 dollars just to use my debit card .They said I didn't have to pay but just get out then began taking pictures of my license place and proceeded to call the cops for complaining about their nasty food and terrible service .

Great Value!! Homefries were homemade. The prices were reasonable. Nice that there are homey, independent,unique restaurants like this still around. People get tired of corporate businesses like Sunset Grill. I know when I spend money at Scoops it directly benefits the lady who owns, runs and is a cook at this place. When visiting Niagara Falls we will be regulars here also.

Not the best experience for a Tennessean. Eggs over medium arrived as very very runny. "Texas Sausage" turned out to be a mixture of beef and pork, resulting in something that tasted like hot dogs. The homemade hash browns everyone else has raved about were nearly tasteless. My husband loves any kind of hash browns, but he could not eat these. My Grandma's Omelette was good, but not for the cost of $14.95. Coffee was good, seated quickly, and the service was wonderful. Will be eating breakfast another place tomorrow.

We came here for breakfast because of the reviews...Very friendly respectful staff. You can tell they enjoy working together. Food was fabulous, quick and reasonably priced. I had the Philly eggs Benedict which was delicious. The home fries had a smoky (paprika?) taste that I loved. We will come back here next time we are in Niagara Falls. I would definitely recommend Scoops!

Great food, great portion sizes, great service by Julie and great prices. We had the hot beef and the hot turkey open faced sandwiches which were served with fries. We received our food quickly and the fries were fresh, perfectly seasoned and piping hot. Both sandwiches were great but the turkey was just roasted and fresh out of the oven. Yes, real turkey, no deli meat here. The gravy was a rich beefy tasting gravy and it was served on both sandwiches, which we found out after from speaking with the owner, the rich and beefy tasting gravy was actually a vegetarian gravy and had no meat/beef in it. We are not vegetarians and would have never guessed. One of the best gravies that I have tasted. Highly recommend this place for a fast, filling and fresh breakfast or lunch.

When we first walked in, the waitress was quick and very nice. The most noticeable aspect of this place was definitely the service. All the servers were very polite and fast. The food itself was fairly good, nothing absolutely amazing and it wasn't bad. The only issue I had was the overall place itself. It didn't seem the cleanest and the bathroom.... well it didn't have a lock and it was fairly dirty. Besides that it was good.

The service is always excellent here. They have an entire separate menu devoted to only different kinds of eggs benedict, and their hollandaise sauce is the best! The home fries lackluster and are usually a little undercooked so forfeit the curves and get the tomato slices!

Stopped here for breakfast during a bike ride. They have a whole menu just for different eggs Benedict that they make. Portion sizes are very generous. I had the Philly Benedict and it was very good. My buddies had the Greek Benedict and the Veg Benedict. They both enjoyed their meals. I couldn't get a 1/4 of my coffee finished before they came over to top up.

Awesome little breakfast place! The service was fast and friendly and they were always coming around to top up the coffees. They have about 10 different eggs Benedict and they all seem awesome. I got the Philly steak Benny and they were done perfectly and super delicious. Home fries were perfectly seasoned, not too much or too little salt, overall excellent experience would definitely recommend.

Best breakfast place in Niagra Falls. You'll get nice home made quality food, same as you would anywhere downtown. But for the same price as a small town dinner in the middle of no where. Unlike the breakfast restaurants downtown, you will pay 1/4 the price, and the employees will actually care about you and your dietary needs.

We went twice during our stay and both visits did not disappoint! A great variety of eggs bennidict! Delicious beans! We are from Toronto and were there for our anniversary. Thanks for the response, however, this review has nothing to do with your vaccination policies. This is referring to a takeout order, prior to the vaccine mandate, earlier in September. The eggs benedict sauce was not eggs benedict sauce and the "home fries" you refer to on your menu are just over-seasoned dinner potatoes (consuming over 3/4 of the takeout container). Your assumption in your response to my one star review is very unprofessional.

Beyond satisfied with the quality of food and service! Lisa was our server and she was absolutely lovely, and very knowledgeable of the menu. I have an allergy to gluten and I was surprised to learn they have SEVERAL GLUTEN FREE options available!! Highly recommend Scoops for all breakfast / lunch needs, especially for those with Celiac Disease!

I met the daughter of the owners at another establishment where she mentioned her parents’ cafe and said I should come for breakfast sometime. She was extremely charismatic and friendly and so I decided I would. I know the Olive Garden catchphrase was about family, but my god, I’ve never been to a place where I felt more like family. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and kindness, you’d have thought I was their favourite person in the world. Both mother and daughter chatted away with me and Cyra even went to the effort of writing out a list of recommendations for places to see during my visit. When I went to leave she wrapped me in a hug that was so full of warmth, and so genuine that it almost brought me to tears. As a solo traveller who hasn’t seen her family in months, this place, and these people were everything I needed and more. Oh, and the food was incredible too!

Found this place while we were visiting Niagara from Toronto. Friendly staff. Good prices compared to other mainstream breakfast places in Niagara. My boyfriend got the steak egg Benedict and I got the italian egg Benedict. They both tasted really good, especially with the potatoes they come with. Definitely found a go-to breakfast place for when we stay in Niagara.

I thank all the local guides for the review of this restaurant. I went for a breakfast this morning and the place was nice and clean, staff super friendly and the food was great. Lots of home fries with the eggs cooked the way I wanted. It is a small restaurant but I know I will be coming back. I usually like to support the locals instead of big chains when ever I travel someplace. Update today April 07,2018. I went for the breakfast again and got same excellent service with the smile from those friendly people. Its too bad they are not open for dinner, they close at 2.00 pm.

Excellent, fresh, good quality and delicious breakfast. Service was amazing and very, very reasonably priced. Half the price of all the big name breakfast places in Niagara Falls, who serve very poor quality ingredients we couldn’t even eat. The food was really good, pretty cheap. Biggest pet peeve is dirty dishes and everything was clean. Coffee came fast, so did the food. And the service was very good, our server was very welcoming. Bill for 3 people came to 30 dollars, for coffee refill and our meals. I suggest going here if you’re in Niagara.

Good food and took care to make sure my sisters gluten allergy was considered. Overall a great experience. Rated 3 stars as the Male waiter was rude and made comments about my kids making a mess and was short with us overall plus they only take cash or debit. Female waitress was very friendly though. Absolutely the best breakfast in Niagra! Worth the short 10 minute drive from the falls. My husband and I tried the Philly eggs Benny, Italian eggs Benny and shared 1/2 order of cinnamon French toast. All orders of food were excellent from taste to texture each plate was unique and very flavorful. Great coffee and staff were all extremely inviting and pleasant. Great little place!!!

Came here for first time last week, I can't say enough good things about it! The service was impeccable, coffee was always full. The deliciousness of the food & efficient service & proportions is amazing! I got blueberry pancakes (soo yummy!) and my fiance got the breakfast wrap which was equally as delicious. If I lived in Niagara or surrounding towns, I would hit up this spot more often!!!

Nov. 2016: 1 night stay with hubby. Breakfast before going back home. The restaurant is off the tourist beaten path. Quaint place with the friendliest people. First time having eggs Benedict and I was not disappointed. Hubby had an omelette that was good. The menu is inexpensive. Love the vibe there.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Had to try the Canadian Eggs Benny and the cinnamon bun waffle. Eggs Benny was perfectly cooked with a runny egg, Hollandaise was homemade with a great flavor. Potatoes that came with the dish was nothing to write home about but were fine. Cinnamon Bun waffle came with a "it's really sweet" warning and it did not disappoint. It was like I was eating a desert. It definitely made me think that I was eating a cinnamon bun, but it was a waffle. At the door there was a sign that said they would not take USA credit cards. I asked my waitress and she said they would, but with an extra $3.00 fee. It was odd, but I just accepted it. Food was well worth the short drive from viewing the falls.

Nice staff. Classic breakfast and other breakfast are good. Just don’t order the “Chef Special Golden Fried Chicken” on a skillet. We came on a Saturday and ordered the regular breakfast, it was great! We then saw the “chef special” and decided to go back the next day to try it. What a disappointment! Their “golden fried chicken “ was a piece of chicken tender lol! Never been so disappointed lol. I wish a took a picture of it just to show how bad it was.

Closer to a 3.5. Service is great. Food is okay. Coffee is okay. Prices are pretty good. Went for breakfast on a Sunday. About a 15 min wait at 10:30am. They have turkey bacon which is a bonus but it came on the underdone side. French toast should’ve had a different kind of bread like the Texas toast or egg bread. Home fries were oily. But otherwise everything was very edible. Definitely did the trick but I won’t be racing back.

Greek style eggs benedict are amazing. Loved every bite. I wish I took a picture but once I started eating it I couldn't stop! So many eggs benedict options I would like to try as well in the future. Nice family run business, looking forward to having lunch one day as well as the menu offers lots of options. Oh almost forgot. The chocolate chip pancakes were also very tasty with a slight crisp to them and the French toast as well. ???? Definitely recommend this place.

Amazing place! Little bit off the beaten track but less than 10 minutes from the falls. Friendly and welcoming service, family owned with amazing food! We had the pulled pork skillet, the Greek eggs Benedict, the meat lovers special and the Greek omlete, as well as, three kids meals, the food was all outstanding, the prices were not inflated because of Niagara falls. I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast.

Please, tell me how I went my whole life without trying hollandaise sauce? How did this happen? I finally got to travel again for my birthday this year (2021). I was overjoyed, even if it was only in my own country and a couple of hours from home. I always have to research my dining choices for weeks or even months before I travel because I'm gluten-free. I'm always looking for something I don't usually eat at home, a treat. Scoops had more to offer than any other breakfast place in NF, so I ordered in from them with Skip the Dishes both days of my birthday stay. Not many places offered GF choices or even marked items as GF on their menu. That is a hard skip for me. Scoops had several Benedict platters to chose from and offered a GF English muffin and baked beans...I was sold! The first day, I ordered a Philly Benedict Platter. The hollandaise sauce with this one has caramelized onions. I was floored by the hollandaise sauce and was cursing myself for never trying it before. The eggs were a little more done on this one than I like--almost not a runny yolk, but it was still delicious. I really enjoyed the beef and GF muffins with that sauce. Beyond delicious. I usually eat keto, so I only had a few of the home fries, but they were good. Nothing over the top...but good. They do charge for utensils, which sucks since most other restaurants do not. I didn't realize this and didn't order any, but luckily had kept the ones I received at dinner the night before...but that was minor. The baked beans were filled with bacon and had a maple flavour, really delicious. The next day, I ordered the Italian Benedict platter. The eggs were softer, much better. The ham was really delicious. Great beans again. I ordered a side of bacon. Really delicious. I would say of the options out there for room delivery this was the best. That hollandaise sauce was so rich and yummy both days. I would definitely eat there in person when I can and order in from them again!

Always delicious. My go-to meal here is "eggs, sunny side up and sausage with deep fried home fries, and rye toast - lightly toasted". The coffee is hot, the cup is bottomless and the staff are always cheerful and friendly. I am a regular at Scoops and I recognize all the other regulars (there's plenty of us). Eat here, you won't be disappointed!

We went here for breakfast baised on the good reviews. Staff is friendly and attentive. I got the eggs benny and it was a big disappointment. The hollandaise sauce was thick and grainy, with an unpleasant chemical powdery taste. I had to scrape the sauce off. My guess is that they use a powder package to make it, not homemade from scratch. Reminded me of Kraft dinner.

We were on vacation staying on the Canadian side of the falls and we were so impressed with Scoops that we returned for breakfast for the second and third/final day of our trip! Friendly staff and easily some of the best breakfast and lunch food my fiance and I have ever eaten! Would 100% recommend! The only quirk was that we couldn't use American debit cards there and if you pay using USD you get your change in bills but none of the coinage. Wasn't a big deal at all to us. Such a great place!

Went to scoops for breakfast in a Sunday after the waterpark. Got a seat right away. Very friendly staff and we got to order right away. Food came very fast and it was extremely delicious. Kids got what they wanted and so did the parents. Coffee was great too. Keep this place in mind for a perfect breakfast if you are in the area. Prices were great to and it's on Lundy's Lane.

A local breakfast spot with the most amazing and well-priced menu. Their Eggs Benedict was as good as some of the top restaurants I've eaten at. A big plus is that they have gluten free bread and English muffins which is incredible if you have a gluten allergy or are celiac. Worth checking out if you're ever staying in Niagara - beats the overpriced IHOP by a mile!

My favourite breakfast place in all of Niagara. The menu's wide enough to accommodate more expensive orders to more affordable meals, which I love. The Classic Breakfast I believe it's called is inexpensive and filling. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast/brunch. The only drawback is that it can be very busy and therefore, way noisy.

Plenty of parking in the parking lot out front. No worries on where to store your car. There are plenty of tables here and they are all spaced out with barriers between tables that are closer. I could see the demand for tables outweigh the number of tables pretty quickly. Food was very tasty. Portions were good and service was great. The drive out to this locally owned mom and pop shop is worth your time. Haven't been to a better diner in Niagara Falls.

This is a cute, family-owned and operated business. My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time in January. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's difficult to find breakfast places with good vegetarian options, but this place had me covered. The resturant is fairly small and was packed, but the staff managed it all very well. I wish I had a place this good locally. As you can tell from the pictures and the countless reviews, food taste wonderful, the portions are very generous, and the prices are great. The Hungry Greek Breakfast (one with the pancakes, $12.99); the other dish is the Big Fat Greek ($11.99). Not pictured, they also have the Meat Lovers special which is like the Fat Greek, but two of everything, along with a slice of ham for 9.99.

Located in a strip mall on Lundy's Lane, this restaurant is close enough to downtown for tourists but far enough away that the traffic isn't too bad. Its in a prime location near coffee shops, malls, and great places to spend time.The restaurant is small but the food is good and reasonably priced. Fair warning though, the restaurant is fairly busy around 11:30-12:30 since there is a nearby high school that tends to flood the restaurant with students on lunch break. Also the fries come topped with seasoning salt so some children may be inclined to order them plain.

First time and found to have enjoyed my experience. The staff are super friendly, and touched base with our table often. The food was good, no complaints. I would look to visit again on my next trip out to Niagara. For those who care for Covid protocols - The tables are spaced out perfectly, there are plastic barriers between most tables, and staff are wearing some form of face covering (mask/shield). There are two tables outside, but most of the dining is indoors.

It was good/ok. Service was good, nice people. Price is standard for Breakfast places, portion was good. My wife got the classic 2 egg, sausage, homefries and toast. I got poutine. Coffee is just ok, but that could just be our preference. The Breakfast sausage was meh it feels like it’s a very cheap kind. Breakfast potatoes have so much promise, they just need to be cooked more. Fries good, gravy good, but I’m so so disappointed they use shredded marble or some other kind of cheese. I guess it’s my fault for not asking but poutines have cheese curds.

We were staying at the Hilton near the falls and after a night out with a large bill because of random tourists taxes we thought we venture out and support local. This place was perfect! All of the staff came around and treated us like family. The food was great but the service made it that much better. It seems like all the locals know about this spot so if you’re from out of town make sure you give this place a try.

Weird restaurant with weird mood. Their cooks got problem in the kitchen. There was 4 tables with people and nobody got served within 25 mins. The sausages are extremely disgusting. The wrap is very not good, bland food. That was our worst breakfast ever. 4.4 stars???!!! This was a 2 stars maximum.

Great food surpassed only by excellent service. I’ve been going here for years. The food is delicious, and I’ve tried most of the menu. The breakfast is excellent especially the various eggs Benedict, pancakes, and the cinnamon French toast. I even like the liver and onions. Just got an order of the cinnamon French toast with sausages delivered. Delicious! And generous serving. Once, I got my eggs benny harder than I wanted. The wait staff knew that I preferred the yolk soft. They immediately replaced the order. The service is fast and friendly. It’s a great place to start your day or for a mid-day lunch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited this little breakfast place on our visit to Niagara Falls. Its about 10 minutes away from the falls itself but its definately worth the visit. The place is small so make sure you call ahead to reserve if you are a large group. The waitresses are extremely polite and professional and the service was fast and perfect. Food was good and I think their egg benedicts were excellent. I would definately visit them again for sure on my next visit.

The two of us went in for brunch today. Ordered eggs Benedict / classic breakfast. We must have waited over 40 mins before hearing something about the status of the food and people that had been seated after us were already getting their food. Waitress told us that the food was next up and then 10 mins passed by with others getting their food. We finally received the food after all and the potatoes were soggy... No big deal I guess.... Mentioned the wait to the lady owner who said she really can't do much about it. The server at least took our coffees off the bill but it gets even better.... We go to pay and the guy owner doesn't take the coffees off , so unknowingly we pay the full bill anyways. We go back in after we realized we "overpayed" and we're rudely given out money back and we're told that they didn't want our tip (literally gave us a handful of change). At the very least if management handled the situation better we would feel more inclined to revisit but after this scoops is a no go. Come here if you want soggy potatoes and to wait over 50 mins for food and then be made out to be the bad guy

We went to Scoops Saturday that just passed and had an amazing breakfast! The potatoes were absolutely amazing. Diane, our waitress, took the time to ask us where we were from and chatted briefly about what brought us to Niagara Falls. We were so impressed with the food and the friendliness of the staff. If there is a wait, which we didn't have, it speaks volumes to their food and service!!!!! We will definitely return next time we are in town. So glad we happened upon it.

Was looking for a good spot to grab breakfast during our trip, and this one had the best reviews so we thought we’d give it a chance. BEST SERVICE - not only did our server check up on us all the time, but the other staff also did too. We were always topped up on our water and coffee, and the portions were great. Disappointed with the pancakes, the bacon and the home fries. The pancakes tasted homemade but were chewy. The bacon tasted like second or third class meat, very weird flavour and texture (soft or extra crispy, didn't matter). The home fries were soggy, tasteless and room temperature. Now to the good: Great service and price (I think so anyway) $53 CDN for 2 adults and 3 children. The veggie omelette and the waffle were excellent. I was afraid to try the coffee so no review on that. Will not go back.

If you are in the falls, drive the extra 5 minutes up Lundy's Lane to this hidden gem! From the moment you walk in the door, the staff is super welcoming and friendly. We originally planned to go to a chain or buffet by the falls, but after reading reviews found this place. Their prices and portions are almost too good to be true! The food is very tasty and fresh. The staff always check on you, and you can tell have an excellent rapport with their regulars. I would highly recommend this place! We will be back :)

This restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I can't tell you the last time I was safety able to eat breakfast food. Lisa and her husband are two wonderful people. They're vibrant. In the time of covid, it's hard to have interaction when some of us fear other people. Scoops was very safe, covid wise, and this didn't stop Lisa and her husband from showing compassion. Very helpful, extremely kind. Clean restaurant, celiac friendly. Their gf options are great, and the staff are very knowledgeable about celiac and other allergies. Scoops is such a cozy place to eat, great atmosphere and food.
