Kinda nasty place, tables and chairs sticky, some old lady served us and wasn't very pleasant. When I got up to pay with debit, the lady checked the receipt to see if I tipped before handing it to me, I didn't tip, so she threw the receipt down on the table and stormed off. Pancakes and sausages were decent at best. Nothing special.

This is a great little breakfast place! It's always a favorite of mine. Food it's great, it's not at all very expensive, and everyone is friendly. I don't get in here nearly as often as I should, mostly because I live across town. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for a good breakfast. Check it out, if you haven't!

Delicious fish and chips that aren't too greasy. Even the coleslaw was decent! Finding a place with good fish, fries, tartar sauce and coleslaw is rare, and Opa & Oma's definitely checks all the boxes!

If you are looking for a great breakfast restaurant in St. Catharines, Opa & Oma's Diner is an excellent choice. The service was fast and the food was great but to top it all off the price was shockingly low for the quantity of food we got. We really enjoyed our time at Opa & Oma's because the servers are friendly, they are super quick and you get way more bang for your buck than other breakfast diners in the area. I will definitely be returning to Opa & Oma's Diner in St. Catharines, ON the next time I visit since the service, food and price are unbeatable.

This has to be one of the best breakfast places in town. Very family style with wonderful staff who know how to treat their customers. Covid has brought a few changes like no condiments at the tables but they will quickly bring the little packets if you need them. Other than that it's the same great food and wonderful service it has been for years.

I've been coming here for years. It's that good! The staff is friendly, never have I had a bad experience. They don't usually serve fires with breakfast, but potatoes. Which taste way better than any other breakfast place I've tried. They always refill your coffee so don't worry about running out. one of, if not , the best breakfast place in Niagara.

Some waiters are senior and very unfriendly. One of them scoffed at me and my friend when we said we wanted separate orders. Another time the same waiter threw a fit when we walked up to the counter and said we want to pay separately. I mean what the hell, its your job to do these basic tasks and NOT give nasty looks to the customer!! Or maybe its cos I'm dark skinned? I don't recommend this place to go eat if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere.

Blonde waitress very poor Costumer service . Not impressed at all ... . Asked for a 2 piece fish and chip , she asked if my girlfriend if she was having some . we both said no we are gunna split mine , because it’s a lot of food for 1 person . Then she comes out with my plate 2 piece and a plate with a one piece ..? I said I didn’t order the extra plate .... she rolled her eyes and walked away . Then asked if we needed anything I said more coffee and ketchup got coffee no ketchup had to ask for it 2 times , also I drink cream in my coffee I asked 2 times then got up myself and got it because she was to busy on her sell phone .... I wouldn’t recommend this place food is sometimes good but dirty place tables are always sticky and dirty . Blonde waitress doesn’t care only about her tips .

Was recommended to this place by my guys in the same Plaza. They told me the fish was excellent and reasonably priced. Got my Fish and Chips. The fries were good. The Fish on the other hand had way too much batter and were drenched in oil. To the point the oil ate away at my Take Out Box. I'd give this place a zero if possible. There are better placed out there that aren't so greasy. Be prepared to eat a litre of oil with their Fish.
