I work for a large company and we ordered $800 worth of food. When we picked it up they gave us a couple of coupons for free subs. Fast forward a couple of months and went in today to use my coupon and the lady flat out refused to take it!! I guess my company won't be ordering from them anymore. Not impressed!!

First time trying the FireHouse Subs and tbh it was pretty amazing! The bread was perfect ????, the amount of meat you get on a large sub is worth the price you pay. My order was not exactly what I had ordered but called the restaurant and the lady who took the call was beyond helpful and fixed the issue with my food. Overall great food, amazing taste and great customer service! We will be back!

Worst time ever. Waited more than 20 minutes for ONLY a 6inch sub and some chilli. No workflow management, comeand the staff didn't know what they were doing, and telling on top of each other. The line to order and waiting queue was super confusing... Please fix your workflow layout to make it easier for customers.. they also made doordash and skipthedishes orders wait super long with the drivers waiting there for more than 10 mins. I do not recommend coming here till they fix their act together. Only saving grace was their food tastes good.

Very disappointed in the product for the cost. 15.50 for a submarine sandwich that was maybe an inch and a half tall and tasted like alpo. I personally won't be back. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

I tried once and it was gross, i tried again thinking maybe i just chose a bad choice and again it was the steak sub and it was disgusting and dry and there was barely any peppers and onions on it. the meet was dry and just fell all over the place... it was like large pieces of dandruff falling out of my sandwich it was gross... The bun is nice i'll give it that but for the price i cant spend that kind of money to try again and possibly be disappointed for a 3rd time.

My dad and I ordered 2 subs, we waited about 20 mins with no one else in the store and about 6 employees and just about everything we asked for was wrong on our order. Not the kind of bread we asked for, Mayo all over both when asked for none, toppings on the sandwich that were not listed on the menu board and not asked for. Just.....really dissapointing. It might be worth another try but I am hesitant. I dont like writing too many negative reviews but this was just our experience one time in the store.

Save yourself the disappointed and go to Subway for half the cost. Confusing menu to order from doesn't allow you to select chips for a chip combo, just upgrade to soup/salad for more $$$. Offer a drink with kids combo but don't allow you to select it so it isn't actually included. Same issues on their site as well as third party Uber eats. Limited bread selection, hot specialty subs - subs arrived cold with no special ingredients and only the finest microwave bacon marketed as pepper bacon. The best thing they got - their Hook and Ladder advertisement on the radio. Hooks you in alright - for disappointment.

Worst Experience Ever Tonight was my first time at Firehouse Subs and it was the worst!! When I ordered my 2 subs and they asked if I wanted pickle on the side, I said "No I have a severe pickle allergy at home". When I got home with the subs and opened the boxes.... right there on top of the subs was a pickle. I had to throw both subs out and go out get subs again. Thank goodness for good old Subway!! Never going to Firehouse again!!!

I have ordered here 3 times. The first time I ordered the Italian sub, it was good but too sweet because of the Italian dressing. Second time I ordered, I specifically asked for no Italian dressing, it came with Italian dressing! Tonight I again ordered 2 Italian subs with NO Italian dressing ( I decided to give them another chance) well that was a mistake! Both subs had Italian dressing!!!! I specifically said multiple times NO Italian dressing. What a disappointment!! If it wasn't for the Italian dressing it would be a good sub. I'm not returning!

The food is always phenomenal, never have I had anything wrong with an order yet. However the greeting that I received upon my entry felt fake/forced and I could barely understand the person, I didnt know I was being greeted until the person greeted another person a few moments after I entered. I would honestly scrap the greeting all together, its unnecessary unless if you're going to get someone I can understand with a genuine attitude. Lastly the person at the register was even less understandable, simply just communicating my order was a very painful experience as I had to repeat everything I said multiple times, and I can assure it was not due to a lack of volume. Overall my experience wasn't bad, but if I were the manager I would work to find people with better communication skills as that would make people want to return even more so.

We ordered on Uber Eats the MD Meatball and the MD steak and cheese as combos with a drink, cookie and chili. Everything was amazing. I would definitely order again. The only issue I’d like to point out for the owners is more so with the uber eats app: with the chip combo it won’t allow you to select a type of chip so I’d recommend for the owners to look into that through the app! But for my meal, the cookie was soooo soft and the Medium (MD) meatball sub was amazing and a good size. I definitely would not have been able to finish a Large. I see a lot of people getting the meatball with pepperoni on top and I’m gonna try that next time!! :)

I ordered a Fire House Steak and Cheese (basically a Philly steakhouse) a medium and it was filling! You won't be disappointed. I can see why there's a hype on trying this out.

I've been to several firehouse locations on Ontario (Burlington and Oakville) and have to say, this one isn't great. The bread was dry and stale, all the sandwiches in our order had no mayo, mustard, or Marina (other than what fell off the meatballs), they forgot our drinks and firehats. I hope they can figure things out, considering they just opened.

Went there November 4th 2021 the staff was more interested taking to each other then acknowledging the customer. In fact talking in there own language. I have no problem with people different Language outside the business or on breaks but when you are not addressing the customer, talking to your friend in a different language it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The food was good. Really tasty and delicious. That's the 2 stars, and 1 star for customer service. The cashier went out of his way to get me a new bottle of sauce that was for sale. This place has potential of being 5 stars. Just needs a little better customer service.

The subs are great but they are expensive for what you receive. One criticism I have is making sure the orders that come through to your business are double checked and sent out correctly with Skip The Dishes. I asked for a Coke Zero with my order and received a regular coke. While it may not be an issue for me, I know many people with Diabetes would be out of luck as Skip The Dishes has horrible refund policies and rarely corrects issues. And it wouldn't be worth it for someone to drive all the way to your facility to get the error corrected. Having worked in fast food, it is absolutely crucial to make sure people who ask for diet and caffeine free beverages receive them. Mistakes could make people very sick.

Ordered Large Steak Sub and a Medium Smoked Turkey. When I got home there was a Meatball sub (2 of the meatballs were hard. I couldn't eat it. And the Smoked Turkey not sure what it was. This is the worst food I have experienced in forever. You would think with the conditions out there that they would care about quality. Nope just about a buck. Find somewhere else to order. I called back but no one returned my call. This could be a regular happening .. I won't be ordering from there again. period.

This review is not so much about the food as it is delicious but after visiting yesterday to get 2 subs for take out I felt disappointed enough to write a review that I think is directed more at management of the St Catharines location on Fourth Ave. My first concern is one I feel every time I visit (which is probably every 2 months). The employees working on cash should be able to speak English clearly so that customers can understand them. I struggle every time to understand what they are saying to me. I have asked others if they feel this way - to learn I am not the only customer who struggles to understand your employees. Perhaps even if they were to speak slower might help but not being able to understand their many questions about choices and options for my sub is a real frustration. The other concern I noticed is that the subs have become much thinner than they used to be which I am assuming means you are cutting back on the meat that goes into the sub. I understand that the cost of everything has increased - I think everyone is aware of this. But I come to FH subs, which is a little more $ than other sub shops because of the quality of their delicious subs. After yesterday I don't feel this way anymore. In addition both our pickle spears were a mere sliver. (About an eighth of a pickle!) It appears you are cutting corners to save and it's noticeable! I would rather you increase the cost and deliver a quality product like you once used to. The subs were delicious as they always are but the disappointment was in the cost cutting measures that left us feeling like something was missing.

Just tried firehouse for the first time. I heard good things from friends and decided to try it tonight. It was FANTASTIC!!! My family and I loved it! My hubby and I ordered the steak and cheese sub and it was the best! My daughter had the italian sub and said it was so good! (She is a picky eater and ate it all....I didn't even tell her about the onions on it and she ate them!) This will be our go to sub place from now on!!!!

Today I ordered 2 medium subs with a bottle of orange juice online before going, when I got there the orange juice I payed $2.99 was literally a minute made juice box, almost seemed like the store ran out of juice and decided to run over to Walmart to buy some 8 packs of juice boxes for 3 bucks and then resell each single for 3 bucks to the customer. Greasy. 2nd last time I went I ordered 2 subs with a drink, didn't notice until I got home that they did not put the drink in the bag so had to drive back and show them the receipt to get it. I won't be going back again. I'll admit the subs are usually very good, still not worth the exuberant prices and general issues though.

This location is very clean and managed very well. I have never had any incidences where my order has been wrong. The subs are all very tasty and well prepped. On the odd occasion the chill could be filled a little more to the top so I would watch for that. It is on the pricer side but worth it in my opinion. They are very gracious with their toppings. I regularly come to this location and will continue.

Subs are supposed to be affordable, filling and delicious. For my first and last time I only experienced two. You could feed a family of 4 for the price of two subs. If it lived up to the hype I'd go back. But for the price for something average won't bring me back. Nice staff tho...

20 minute wait for a sub sandwich is just way to long. They keep pumping out orders for Uber Eats (or whoever) and have no respect for walk-ins.
