I was here a few years ago and had the best steak of my life! I know that might sound crazy but its 100% true. The buffet was good - I don't remember anything specifically other than an incredibly cooked piece of meat.

Expensive but shows it. Fancy atmosphere. Good food (what little I've had of the menu anyway) and fabric napkins. Theres also a lounge attached if you wanna go that route for slots and beers. Right by the local theater.

The home made good and family friendly atmosphere has made this our favourite restaurant in Thompson. Portion are huge with a choice of salad bar side salad or homemade soup with every entree. I had the pickeral today. I seldom order this in a restaurant as I often catch, fillet and cook my own. This was better than I make and that says a lot. My 7 year old soon loves the home made chicken strips. It is his go to choice. Next time you are in Thompson you should check this restaurant.

Great home style food with a simple menu I had the Miners burger which was huge. I also asked if I could substitute poutine from the regular fries. They declined substitutions. I think if they offered poutine for an extra XX dollars it would be well received by customers

Either people are being compensated for their enthusiastically positive reviews or I went there on a very bad night. "Scampi and Chicken Breast" was 4 Walmart medium size shrimp and chicken breast that tasted weird with frozen green beens and a bit of rice. The salad bar was the worst I have ever seen but maybe that is because vegetables are harder to come by in the north.

Great place to eat, amazing staff great atmosphere and phenomenal food. What more could you ask for? Best spot in Thompson thats my opinion but you will have to go to know for yourself.

It's okay. You know the usual. Love the lunch menu. Drinks a little to pricy. All in all a decent place to go if you want a great menu, friendly staff and an all round good atmosphere. Dining can be a tad cold so keep that in mind (not the food, food is delicious). A plus is they have a great wine selection and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and what they have to offer as a business. The owner is a very personable man, he is very kind and interested in the patrons that visit his establishment and by far that is what matters! Five stars for business engagement and management. I just wish they served lunch all day or at least until 5pm. They have a great dinner and lunch menu. Steak is sublime. Check it out.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary this past week. She had steak and lobster and I had steak and crab. The steaks were inch and half thick and cooked perfectly, almost didn't need a knife to cut in them. Lol. The stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer was pretty good too.
