Ali's Bar and Grill is an amazing place to go and eat with your family or stop in for a drink. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating for all you needs and it is so nice to see the owner in walking around and speaking with their customers. Beautiful restaurant, great foot with a variety of options and good drinks! Their pasta night on wednesdays are the best! Definitely should check out next time you are in town.

I definitely recommend dining at Ali's Grill when visiting New Likeard. The staff are very friendly and the menu selection is broad. The food arrived promptly and the quality was excellent. If I was in town longer, I would try everything on the menu!

We really enjoyed the food here. We came for lunch and my friend and I had butter chicken which was really yummy! Next time, I will try the plant-based crispy avocado butter chicken. My husband had liver and onions and her husband had hot roast beef sandwich. Looking forward to another visit here!

Everything was cooked perfectly, from the delicious coffee with rich flavor and no bitterness, to the tender escargot. The rack of lamb was tender and delicious. The wings were crispy on outside and juicy and meaty on the inside. Veggies were not too soft and not too hard. And the caramel cheesecake was the best we have ever savoured!

Food was really good. Staff is friendly. Local beers on tap. What more could you ask for? My only issue was the count of ribs on a 1/2 rack (4 ribs). I just thought a 1/2 rack was 6. Not a huge deal because the flavor and price is worth it.

Ali and his team have taken an about face approach to this restaurant which was formerly under different management. They have applied their 20+ years of food service and dinging experience and transformed this facility into a wonderful place to eat regardless of your dining preferences.

Had calamari & burger with poutine. Calamari was very simple. Burger was supposed to be local beef instead of premade burger patties, server didn't advise of product being out. Overpriced for a low quality burger & poutine was not special, local cheese curds was the only high point. Aka not freshcut fries. Was over charged for adding a poutine to burger ????. Nice interior though. Harvey's or Wendy's or truck stop would had fresher food for less. Owner came by to say the local burger they were out of on the menu right away should have been discounted or something as it is in the menu. Server was very green. Update: talked with owner & he gave back the overcharge plus more.(10$) ???? Not bad.

My dish today exceeded my expectations, the atmosphere was decent, and the waitress was pleasant. The washroom is shared with the hotel I believe, and isn't that nice. Doesn't appear easily wheelchair accessible, but I could be wrong. Worth a shot, especially if you haven't been out for a bit.

This is by far the best restaurant I have visited in this area. Our steak and salmon was cooked to perfection ! We were seated in the quiet bar area where we enjoyed a cocktail and appetizers with no rush.......followed by a wonderful dinner. Our waitress was exceptional ! The restaurant was very busy but the atmosphere was very relaxed and the noise level was low. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting this area for a nice meal out.

I've had takeout from this restaurant before, and the food was good, however this experience was not so good. Reception staff and wait staff were great, place is clean, and well light for dinner. Calamari appetizer was great, big pieces and hot A+ Pork schnitzel was quite underwhelming, because the fact it was cooked way too long, a quarter of the schnitzel was so hard and had no distinguishable protein in the breading was extremely off-putting. It was so hard, when cutting the protein, it chipped off from the main portion. When I travel here again, I will eat here, however, will not be ordering the schnitzel again...

Good average food, good service. Expensive draft but that's Everywhere. Phylly cheese steak was more of a roast beef au jus with onion and cheese. Fries were plentiful and tasty but limo, almost soggy. Chicken Parm was very good but Alfredo sauce on Fettuccini was sub par and tomato sauce was rather bland. With a little work, I think they could bring up there game and be quite good.

This place used to be my favourite but now the menu is simply over priced for the quality and quantity of food. I received a palm size portion of steak with what seemed to be soggy frozen vegetables. We were seated in uncomfortable couches and we were close enough to other that we could hear other customers entire conversations. Will not be visiting again.

Let me start off by saying that we had visited Ali's a while back for an event and had a meal that was in our opinion mediocre, wasn't extravagant or made us want to return regularly, however with that said we went back for the Sunday brunch and the service started out okay but as we seated ourselves we were greeted by the buffet chef gave us a great place to sit, his service was so far above and beyond, he acknowledged every customer and he made sure to give great details about the food, he even served us testers before we got up to get the actual brunch, his service alone was enough to make us want to come back again, the food itself was very excellent, for a brunch they had everything from pancakes and French toast to scrambled eggs and omelettes to BBQ pork bites bacon and sausages the food was kept very warm almost hot but not enough to burn you, and at the end there was amazing deserts that are to die for, the chef brought us the deserts that he thought would be the best and it was so delicious, I'd recommend the Sunday brunch to everyone, as it may now be a regular thing for us to go.

We finally decided to try this restaurant tonight because friends had told us the food was really good. We were very happy we had a meal here. It made it day. The food was home cooked and served with good portions. We are both journalists and we have traveled to many parts of the world, so it was a very pleasant surprise tonight to have such great service from our waiter Josh. This was a nice quiet restaurant and the atmosphere was a top. Although the food wasn't terrific....filet mignon was a little fatty and mashed potatoes were a bust with no "real" flavor. The sauteed mushrooms and onions were almost like they were quickly deep fried and definitely not fresh. Not as fresh as the ones they placed in my filet. Dessert and drinks were good. The waitress was great, she wasn't as friendly and personal as I like...but that's a preference...she did her job and made sure we were looked after...all in all I would recommend if driving by, but wouldn't go outta my way like I would to others.

Nice place. I was staying nearby and even when I had to get dinner in a rush, my takeout order was ready promptly with time to spare. The chicken parmesan was great, my only complaint was with Reuben I had ordered. The sourkraut was so mild it may as well have not been there. So if you're a Reuben lover, I'd skip this one. But I'm just being nitpicky

My first experience at Ali's was super amazing. I'm a steak person, my steak dinner was the best I have ever eaten along with the sides. I am about 3 hours away and my husband Al and I will travel for the experience. We have been there twice and both visits were amazing. Ali himself is a fanominal guy, we chatted with him on both occasions and he went above and beyond to make out experience special. Thank you Ali and your staff. SUPER FANTASTIC!!!

We were driving by on a road trip and chose to eat here as it was attached to the Ecno Lodge. I was amazingly surprised on how great the food is! The professional and friendly staff have great recommendations, they recommended the duck and I had to say it was the best duck I’ve ever had. Next time we’re on the road I’ll make Ali’s a mandatory stop. Thank you for a lovely meal and dinning experience.

Use to have amazing corned beef, the quantity is ridiculous, smallest sandwhich ever, two bites and it's gone. A mcdonalds cheeseburger has more meat. Don't waste your money and time, go elsewhere

It's getting harder to find a good restaurant, well we think that we found one, even though it's about 1 Hrs from Kirkland Lake we will definitely return to Ali's Grill and Bar. Food was delicious and service implacable. Restaurant was well decorated for the festive season,it had just the right amount of decorations. Thank you to your staff for a great evening. We will definitely recommend Ali's Grill and Bar.

Fabulous place. Classy, yet good plentiful portions. Group of 5 and we all enjoyed the entire dining experience. Service, atmosphere, menu selections, tastiness of preparation, and reasonable prices were all huge pluses and will definitely pay a return visit. A gem.

I had the filet mignon in capers. (Very very salty dish). I asked if it was real mashed potatoes or fake. Was told real and they tasted fake. Salmon tasted fishier then usual. 3 dinners and 3 alcoholic beverages....the bill was 140.00. little on the expensive side for 3 ppl. The only good thing about this dinner was our waitress Savanah who was friendly and served us well. Little mints given to us with the bill :)

Have been eating at the new location since it moved from the mall. When working in the area we eat all our dinners there. (Across from the Holiday Inn) Excellent service and food. Reasonable prices. Have seen Ali and his wife there every visit. He always makes his rounds ensuring food and service is good. Highly recommend enjoying a meal here.

Every time that work brings me through New Liskeard I stop here. The food is always amazing, the service is always great, and the owner is incredibly friendly. If you can only stop at one place in town to eat, stop here! I look forward to enjoying a meal at the bar when COVID is in the past.

Overall not impressed. Service was not great, waitress didnt know anything about the menu, not even what the orders came with, had to come back several times to confirm our order. Took a long time to get our bill. Food was disappointing. Not very hot when it came out, small portions especially for the price, thickest batter on fish I've ever had. There was 5 of us, we all got different meals and none of us were happy with the quality. Wouldn't go back, definitely not for the cost.

Absolutely the worst food ive ever been servered. The clubhouse was pressed turkey fries and gravy were cold they tried to charge me for a meal that i sent back. When i asked to speak with the manager who was onsite they temoved the meal from the bill and ignored my request. In the future ill go to mcdonalds
