I may be judging them to harshly, as a Jamaican my expectations were not met. Their macaroni pie was exceptionally disappointing. The oxtail was tough. I have had their jerk chicken before which is what prompted me to visit. I am hoping to give them another shot... hopefully then my view can improve

I've eaten here a number of times and overall have been very impressed. Curried goat, oxtail, roti all bang on. The only dish that came up short was the jerk pork, it tasted no different than what I can make at home. Service has been fast, polite and efficient which anyone with a West Indian background knows is rare for Caribbean restaurants. Prices are reasonable and portions good.

Amazingly great food. We frequently purchase West Indian and Jerk spiced takeout food, yesterday we went to Fire Flame Jerk for the first time and the food was delicious. We purchased both boneless Jerk Chicken roti and Curry Chicken roti. Both selections were the best we have tried and we have been to many different roti and Jerk takeout locations. Highly recommended

Unbelievable food! I ordered the goat roti and was truly blown away by the quality of the meal. The spices were flavourful and complex, the meat was tender and you could tell that it was stewed low and slow for a good stretch of time. Considering what a terrible winter this has been, this was truly a nourishing meal! As an aside, the staff was also helpful and friendly. She took the time to talk to me about the different kinds of foods they offer, as I am borderline ignorant concerning Caribbean fare. I really appreciated my experience all around. Thank you!

Friendly service and even better food! I walked in yesterday and ordered the Curry Chicken Roti and enjoyed it, it was quite mild but very delicious. So I went back today for the Jerk Chicken Roti, (which was even better than the Curry) and made sure to pick up a small hot sauce to add to it. WOW! I’m going to try and pick up a bottle of their hot sauce before I leave town. It’s incredible!

Although the food was good, I felt that it was over priced and small in portion for what you pay for it. Plus, I couldn't get what I wanted at dinner time because they didn't have it.

Amazing! I eat here often. The staff is very quick and very friendly. I always get the festivals. When you go make sure you dip them in any left over gravy with your food. The coleslaw is always fresh and they make it in house. There isn’t anything like this in Sudbury!! If your taste buds are bored with the bland food around town you have to go here. This food is sooooo expensive in Toronto but the prices here are actually reasonable. I’ll be back again soon

I ordered two times prior to this day, the quality of the orders were fantastic! I enjoyed it. However, today I am most disappointed. The porc was dry and tough,also very salty. I ordered the double meat options, second option was the oxtail,it was just kk. The coleslaw taste like sink water,no flavor. Consistency is what I expected. So disappointed. ****************************************** Thrice time's!!! Disgusted by the quality of the snapper, specifically asked for crispy fish, only to receive microwave warmed up day old fish, chewy like rubber! This incident two weeks ago through skip the dishes, refund issued! **************************. Why I went back yesterday, I don't know! I SENT MY FRIEND TO PURCHASE YET AGAIN THE SNAPPER, I GAVE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS. THEY CHARGED HIM $36 FOR A ROCK BASE SIZE SNAPPER WITH WHITE RICE AND A CARIBBEAN MANGO JUICE. YET THE MENU QUOTE WAS ANOTHER PRICE. I ORDER OFTEN ENOUGH FROM THESE THIEVES! THIS HOWEVER, WAS A REPORTABLE OFFENSE. BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU HAS BEEN CONTACTED BY ME. THE FOOD WAS TAMPERED WITH, AS THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHO THE ORDER WAS FOR. BIG MISTAKE FLAMES! YOUR MISTAKE IS CLEARLY GREED AND YOUR SPITEFUL BEHAVIOR IS YOUR ULTIMATE UNDOING! Wowza!! I almost did a double-take when I first drove past this last week (I don't live in Sudbury, but I do occasionally visit my mom, and I don't often travel on Notre Dame). Unfortunately, mom doesn't like spicy food, so when the opportunity arose that I was on my own for dinner, I KNEW I'd be trying some Jerk Pork!! LOL I had already scanned the website & the online menu, so I kinda had an idea what I wanted ???? However, when I got into the restaurant, I met a lovely couple who gave some advice about a few menu items, so I ended up adding a Festival & a slice of black cake to my order.... and then I couldn't wait to get home! I'll definitely get food from here again! The jerk pork had a delicious, sweet heat that wasn't overpowering (well, to me, anyway)... the rice & beans weren't dry (the gal behind the counter offered to top them with oxtail gravy, so I took her up on that idea -- yummm!), and the coleslaw was a perfect complement to the heat of the pork. The Festival was way bigger than I expected, after seeing it online -- I'm partial to carbs, so I thoroughly enjoyed eating it ???? And I'm so full, I don't have room for the cake, so I'll try it tomorrow.

Had the goat roti and jerk pork. Both were fantastic. They have a wide variety of exotic imported beverages as well. Their in-house sauce is available for purchase as well, and it is very good. Service was prompt and friendly.

LOVED IT! I went here for lunch with me dad a little while ago and got the jerk chicken roti. I had never been here before so I was excited to try something new and it was amazing. We tried the goat curry which was excellent with rice and peas. The snapper was good but like most small fish was mostly bones - but really nicely cooked and presented.The food was hot and well-packed. By calling ahead you get quick service. There was no rum cake today, but the pineapple upside-down cake was delicious. Fire Flame is open daily, so is a good place to pick up food when others are closed. We'll be back.

Absolutely amazing. I can’t reccomend this place more. I always get the spicy beef patties, only $2 which such a great deal and they’re so soft and hot. Today I got the curry chicken meal with rice and macaroni salad and I was blown away. So much flavour and spice, the chicken was falling off the bone..... I will be coming back for sure. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is beyond friendly, not a ton of parking but it’ll do lol. Thank you.

Sadly disappointed...maybe its because of covid .. because I did see pretty good reviews and the whole famous actor thing sold me ...BUT no.no.no I ordered a chicken roti no heat so basically mild was disappointed the meat was dark im used to white breast meat it was so spicy hot and inedible the roti skin was dry and falling apart on top and so dry and cement like on the bottom ???? i also ordered doubles and pohlorie but they don't offer that .
