This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Italian restaurant.
I had the gnocchi ala vodka It was amazing!
My wife noticed a clear drop in food quality on two separate occasions for the ravioli di brasato that she ordered. Brought it up with the manager on the second occasion and he asked to call in so he can make good. Called in at the time requested but he wasn't there so she left a message. The call was not returned.
Great food ,large portions but expensive
Just one thing to say.... wood oven food !! Awesome... Excelent food & service !! Thanks
Great food. Great service. And fun environment
I have been meaning to try this restaurant for a while now and am happy I finally did! It is very nice and reasonably priced. The menu is authentic Italian and it is very trendy. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. The ceasars are delicious! The food was fantastic. I had the Frutti Del Mare (seafood linguine) which was in a tomato based sauce. The linguine is freshly made and so good! The portions are on the larger side. My husband had the Vittelo which was a special and was a veal chop with veggies and mashed potatoes. The veal was a little fatty but overall was delicious. We will definitely return and highly recommend trying it out!
Great service, good food.
Great food and atmosphere. Wood stove is pretty cool!
My friend and I ate the calamari fritti and got stomach problems soon after. A third friend that ate something else did not.
Great service great food fair prices ????
Amazing food, great service, very reasonable prices, not a single negative thing to say about this place.
Great restaurant for Italian food. First time I ate a lasagna and if you are not very hungry this plate can be shared. We come back a second time to eat the burrata again and enjoy a Muskoka Beer.
Great pizza, pasta and calzones!
Good food, lovely service, very quick and delicious. It was very loud though, hard to hear each other over the steady chatter of other guests. Not sure if there is a solution to this, definitely a great spot and we will go back!
Amazing fresh pasta. Enjoy chaio
Excellent service and the food was awesome!
Ordered the spinach dip and pizza picante, along with a couple of drinks. It was all delicious, especially the dip. Service was great and friendly. Went for dinner time and was seated right away during the busy dinner hour. Prices were fair as well. Great authentic Italian restaurant atmosphere.
Good Vibes: The restaurant is nicely decorated which gives a good vibe and great atmosphere to feel cozy. The food is rich in flavour, I asked for vegetarian options (simply removing the meat elements from the dish does the trick). Bruschetta was served kinda like pizza made with thin crust it taste fresh because was straight out from the stone oven. Overall great food and amazing experience.
Went for lunch with a party of 20 or so people. Food came out really fast and it was really good. In and out in a bit over an hour.
Di Gusto is by far the best place to eat in town! My family and I eat here all the time. The service is amazing. Roch and Bobbi-Jo
I’m not sure if I came at a bad time, but both my margarita pizzas were bad. There wasn’t very little sauce, and the dough was hard.
The food was fabulous, the service was friendly and the portions were generous.
Food, service and environment were great! Definitely recommend it if you want Italian food while in Sudbury.
Awesome food made from scratch!
My food was cold. Husband did not like. Good service. I was cold during the whole meal. Poor experience considering the price
Received a takeout pizza that was pretty disappointing. Very undercooked and so much cheese it was like eating a cheese string just barely melted onto a pita. It was very busy so that could have been the issue. But yeah, ate half a slice and that was all I could handle….
great place! nice food. bustling.
Probably the best pizza in Ontario
The food was pretty good, and we will probably be back the next time we are going to Sudbury. My only complaint was that the staff didn't seem to have much autonomy, I asked for a glass of water while we waited in the car for our meal to be prepared and was told "I'll have to ask my manager" I just spent $50, am I going to steal two glasses squeal out of the parking lot?
My daughter’s cross country team ate here the night before the OFSAA XC championships nearby. Restaurant was loud as others had mentioned, but the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and accommodating and we had a great time! The Caesar salad was amazing! So creamy and garlicky! I didn’t love the bread in the bread bowl, but I did love that the $2 went to local charities! The pasta and pizza my family had were all scrumptious. Shout out to Brianna our waitress who gave us her opinions on the best dishes there. The food was pricey, but fresh tasting and even with our large group everything came out at the same time and was piping hot, impressive!! I would definitely return to this restaurant if I’m ever in Sudbury again.
My husband and I took our daughter and her family here for dinner, to celebrate her birthday. I could not believe how delicious absolutely everything set on our table was. My husband and I travel a lot and have not had a meal this good at a restaurant in a long time. Even our grandchildren had nothing left on their plates. Thank you for such a great service. All around fantastic experience. I would certainly dine here again.

One of Sudbury best pizza places—or just Italian dishes in general. Eat in because the atmosphere is great.
Service awesome,food fabulous
Beer was cold, highly energetic and professional young waitress, good atmosphere and pizza was so good we ordered one to bring home for a snack. Risotto special was tasty but could have been a touch warmer. Have never had a bad meal here.
Best Italian food in the whole city. No contest.
Visting Sudbury to see my daughter- this place has amazing food and great service! Thanks Maryellen!
I enjoyed the pizza I had here, but nothing about the place really stood out, except for the pizza oven. It could do with more character as the room felt cavernous and the only thing stopping the restaurant from being loud was the even louder music.
Great food, great atmosphere. Awesome service and staff.
Nice lunch and good service.
Great food. End up leaving smelling like wildfires
Been here 3 times over the years, all visits were wonderful (food, service)!
We came a few hours away, and this was the best restaurant we’ve been to on our vacation. With all the westernized “italian” food out there, we were very relieved to eat some real italian cuisine. So relieved that I wrote this review in the parking lot just after we just ate.
The meal was amazing. We were stopping by on a road trip and we loved it. I ordered the gnocchi a la vodka not knowing what it was and I was very pleasantly surprised. My family ordered the Diablo pizza and the fettuccini a la carbonata. They were both very good. The only thing I could complain about were the portions. The calamaris were pricy for the amount that there were. That would be one place I think they could improve. Other than that I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people looking for good Italian food. :)
Amazing!! Everything was so good, save room for dessert!
very good customer service awesome food our waitress was so knowledgeable and check in to ensure everything was good. pleasant atmosphere.
Great food and service, atmosphere is not bad. Highly recommended.
Nice setting to go with some authentic Italian eats.
This place is so good...the Caesar salad there and the pizza oh my ...friendly staff loved it there definitely going back..
Beautiful atmosphere and AMAZING food. Service was decently quick and very nice. Price was great for the quality of food.
Superb menu, the best pizza we've ever eaten!!
Okay good, nice atmosphere but service slow
Good food friendly staff
All menu items are hand made in house.
Two words - Authentic food!!
Really fabulous place to spend quality time and environment is fantastic .. and would like to appreciate service..
All homemade everything So delicious. And fast service. 5 star.
Always great food. Calamari is perfect and the lasagna is to die for!
Service
Pizza and cocktails are fantastic. Always enjoy companies that give back -- charity bread. Great atmosphere and service.
This is honestly some of the best Italian food I've had, and I've been to Italy twice. It was so delicious my wife and I came back on back-to-back nights on our three day trip. Highly recommended!
Best pizza place in sudbury hands down
My wife and I dined at Di Gusto's Sunday evening, me ordering the Pollo et Pesto and she the Americana, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The pizzas were very good, the thin crust exactly how i like it with a light crispy texture augmented by the wood burning oven flavours. That said, I have had similar pizzas elsewhere which were comparable. Service was exceptional -friendly and efficient. Di Gusto's was not busy which likely permited more interaction with our server, though it was not overwhelming. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
Best Alfredo in the city...huge portions, great service, friendly atmosphere.
Surprisingly great food for pizza and pasta. Great wine list. Service was efficient and pleasant. Menu selection was unique and worthwhile giving a try.
Delicious food ????
Great sevice , excellent food
Amazing food and atmosphere. Wait staff are amazing and friendly
Amazing food, I enjoy the atmosphere the prices and service is great.
Some of the best pizza in town. Great spinach dip as well. Nice atmosphere.
Really good, huge meal.
As good as ever! Too bad their lunch menu is limited. Only one dish on the menu has no dairy. If you like pasta and wood-fired pizza, this is the place for you. Great lunch time service for groups - you can order ahead.
Delicious food, friendly staff
Omg!! The food was to die for, and the service was awesome too!!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Sudbury!
Amazing food. Try the Ceasar Salad, you'll be glad you did. Fantastic server, Mel, thank you for putting up with us crazy North Nature's fresh from the Killarney Trails. ????
Great food, quick and consistant service.
Awesome Italian food. The pizza is amazing and the staff is very friendly and all work together to make sure you have a great time.
Pasta was very pasty, not very good
Great food Pizza is really good. Service was good and friendly. Will eat here again.
Delicious food, great service. Large patio seating area with appropriately socially distanced tables. It was my first time having dinner there, but it won't be long before I go back. Easily 5 stars.
Nice restaurant, great pizza
What a meal! We were blown away - a true testament to the fact that house made food and attention paid to quality makes for really good eats. The Sicilia (?) pizza special is praiseworthy. Wood fired pizza and fresh pasta executed to near perfection. One day we will drive the 6.5 hrs just to come back for the pizza. I will dream of it.
Wholly cow, if you want great and delicious pizza and/or pasta, this is the place you want to go! Staff are very kind, pleasant and purely awesome! Keep up the great work!
I've been searching for a place with food worthy pf my Italian heritage and I'm so happy i found this place!! The food is amazing and reasonably priced
Good food! Beautiful decor! Whether it's with children or a group of friends, Di Gusto's is always a nice place to go!
Wasn't as good as my first time. The pastas my gf and I ordered only had about 5 pieces of chicken in it but it was still very good. The service was pretty good but I wish our bread arrived before our food.
Haven't had a bad meal there ever :) Great service to go along with delicious food
Always enjoyed my pizza from here!
Great selections of pizza and pasta
Great service, good prices. Thin crust pizza while not my favorite was fresh and good quality.
This place is awesome, my server, Carrie was terrific, food is amazing, price is just right, everything are homemade, and they don't cheap out on ingredients. The meatballs on my pizza was twice the size of many Italian restaurants. My pizza was loaded .. their menu is extensive. This place became my go-to place when I visit Sudbury going forward.
Ordered takeout, including linguine primavera, which contained meat! was not as described on menu. Not appropriate for vegetarian. Extremely dissatisfied.
Good homemade pasta and pizzas. Large portions and attentive staff.
Visiting friends from out of town and they suggested we all eat here for some delicious, belly filling food. Would 100% come back. Atmosphere is welcoming, staff are very friendly and the food is so fresh. You leave feeling full and satisfied. Wish there was one in Toronto!
Not a fan of there food except for the pizza.
Fantastic and quick service. Food was interesting to try as I've never had wood fired pizza before. Had the Quattro formaggio. Will definitely try it again.
Amazing food and tmosphere.
Best pasta in town!
The pasta tasted like Mac and cheese, and pizza tasted like something you get from 7/11. The only nice thing was the spinach dip with fresh bread and we spent 90 dollars on all of this which wasn’t worth at all. We were bypassing Sudbury and looked for authentic Italian place but I would not recommend this for future.
Excellent service and great food. We will definately be back :)
One of my favourite spots in Sudbury. Gets really busy at 6PM but dies down fast around 7:30PM.
Great food and atmosphere. Everything homemade their charity bread basket is worth the 2$. Will be returning.
AWESOME,, FRESH taste of Italian cooking. GENEROUS portions servered in a FREINDLY environment. Thanks for a great tasting meal.
Best dish everyone should try is gnocchi ala vodka!!! Its a 100% vegetarian Sudbury's best food item
Amazing pizza, pasta and selection of craft beers.
Gabbiano Chianti and fettuccine alfredo ..... Sweet Jesus that's good
Mangiacakes love this place. If you're looking for authentic italian food you will be disappointed.
I am writing as an ACTUAL customer. This restaurant is BY FAR the most amazing one in the Sudbury Area. Very clean, amazing staff, owners are extremely friendly and the food is amazing. IF on the off chance there is something wrong with your food they are very quick to rectify the issue. Very high class restaurant that is taking precautions serisously in this COVID time. If you respect the regualtions that the governemnt has set out to protect us please visit this locally owned buisness that offers legitimate amazing food and service. If you are an anti-mask posting troll reviews, I hope you know that false bad reviews goes beyons effecting a restaurant, this is peoples lives and income, peopel pride themselves on building reputable buisness'. If you dont easnt to wear a mask, FINE. stay the eff home and eat your god damn KD for diner.
I just had dinner in this place and the experience was nothing less than amazing. Good quality, big portion, extremely friendly, and more importantly very supportive in following the COVID protocol. I come from toronto and boy I would be here next time with my family.
Great ambiance (that was the only good thing). Calamari and friendship bread were good but don't order the expensive Seafood Pasta dish. The pasta sauce (very little of it) had the look, feel, taste and texture of Chef Boyardee canned sauce (and no veggies) and there was way too much pasta and very little seafood. The plate was topped with half of an overcooked tiny lobster, 4 overcooked (dried out) clams, and 3 overcooked scallops. My wife's plate had the other half of the lobster. For $26 I expected much much more. Very disappointing and un-Italian. My son had the DIAVLO pizza and again, the taste, though it was barely hot, was not spicy and there were only three pieces of paper thin peperonni on a very thin crust dough and for $16 that's just not right and NOT Italian. Looks like they spent all their money to create an ambiance and forgot to keep some money to hire a real Italian chef. I will not eat there again.
Good food. Great service. Quiet atmosphere.
Visited Sudbury for the Labour Day weekend earlier this year and this was one of the absolute highlights. The food was incredible, the ambience was exquisite and the overall experience meant this was one of the best places for Italian food that I've ever heard. Additionally, a special and huge thank you to Tiffany for the spectacular service and being super friendly and making our evening so memorable!! 10/10 food and service and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sudbury or in the Sudbury area.
Great authentic Italian food. All at a very good price and the service is great.
Fantastic food and a very friendly dining experience. Calamari was the best I have ever had and the ravioli was incredible. We will be going back. South End has a new hot spot.
Amazing staff, waitresses were very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is great and warm. The food was delicious. Highly recommend anything from the stone oven.
We stopped in this cute little place for lunch yesterday.... What a surprise we got when we walked in.... It was a very quaint authentic Italian restaurant... Not just a pizza place. Food was excellent....very authentic.... Everything homemade...right down to their oils...which we ended up receiving a jar of their hot pepper oil.... Thank you for your hospitality and we will be back to try your dinner menu.
Always stop here on our way to the Sault. Excellent food and service.
Amazing food, great atmosphere. Even bought some of their spicy oil and use it for everything =)
I was good , had better so only 4 star. I'd go back
Nice ambiance....good food
Great pasta and great flavours. Enjoy!
All of the food was so good and our server was absolutely amazing!
I was staying in Sudbury, for work and this resturant was suggested to me by s friend. Nice ambiance, Italian songs playing... staff was very polite and helpful. I had a starter Caesar salad, which was great (see pic) and as my main i had the chicken parmesan with Spaghetti. Portions were surprisingly big. I had to take the rest to go. Definition, will be back to try the rest of the menu next time I'm in Sudbury.
Absolutely the worst pizza I have ever tried. A flavourless cardboard crusted disappointment.
We ordered penny, pesto pizza, the food arrived fast and very very tasty. We also ordered Cesar salad and red pepper soup. All very good. Server is also very attentive and she also made recommendations on the beach nearby to go.
The first of five senses was smell! and it was great! Next was seeing the oven in action, oh boy, the suspense is killing me! Service was great, can't say if it was with a smile or not cause, well, you get it! The taste was faaahbulous! A little pricey, but still not too bad. We ordered pizza, and charity bread, it was unique! Hope this helps.
This was the best pizza we have EVER had. Hands down, their wood fired cooking make a difference and the pizza's are amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful even though we were the last ones there and lingered a bit. Selections of pizzas amazing. Highly recommended if you are visiting Sudbury.
So good and modern ! Love it
Foods are good and this please is very beautiful, very good for date and family dinner
Awesome food.. great setting
Food is good, small portions,
Made reservation for 7:30pm. Waited until 8:15pm and no table. Manager blamed the people that wouldn't leave the table, they had been there over 2 hours. I don't think it's good business to blame other customers (especially since I have been at a restaurant for fast longer than that with big groups). He never offered any water or appetizers while we waited. He also placed other groups before us, not offering to split us. Bad business to say that it was "out of his hands". Tell that to my starving toddler!!
Great food and great staff. A true wood oven pizza! Eating there is a must.
I do not recommend based on their discriminatory business ethics.
Best pizza in Sudbury, nice location and good service
Food was amazing! Very flavorful!
Excellent food and service. We love their Caprese Bruschetta... So delicious, but you must love garlic! The power went out several times (weather or something) during this meal and we were regularly checked on by both the server and management. They even kept us up to date on what was happening and apologized for not being able to prepare the food as quickly even though it was not at all their fault. We love Di Gusto. It's delicious every time.
Excellent service and delicious food!
Service was excellent. Food wasn't to my liking...
Great atmosphere. Awesome food.
Food is amazing. They never disappoint!
Unusual, but today the food was not hot. Good, though, as it usually is. And the service was excellent, as usual.
We love Di Gusto's! The calamari is very good - crispy breading, not chewy from over cooking. The sauce is spicy but not hot. I get it everytime. Tonight we had the spinach dip. Creamy and tasty with a soft flat bread to dip with. Our favourite pizza is the caprese toscano. An excellent crust with fresh toppings, I'm pretty sure it's one of the best pizzas one can get in Sudbury. Don't leave without having a tiramisu. Big enough to share, has great coffee flavour. Di Gusto has great flavours and selection, is open but also intimate, and is quite reasonable. Staff are knowledgeable and happy to please. This is what most people want in a restaurant - and it's not in Toronto, and it won't cost an arm and a leg.

Staff was very kind, food tasted amazing, and the food was rather quick
Max was great. Loved the food and actual cocktails (as opposed to lame one made from mixes so many places make)
The maitre d' at lunch was arrogant and opposed to people not wearing masks for any reason. He went out of his way to say how he "doesn't care what excuses people have, they're not coming into my restaurant without a mask." He's also watching for non-Ontario license plates so he can further interrogate and potentially decline service to those patrons. His practices will be made known to the city.
Amazing spinach dip and service.
Disappointing experience. Uncooked pizza, microwaved Arancini, microwaved Gnocchi, all 3 courses arrived at the same time 25 minutes after our order was placed. The good part was they took the pizza off the bill, asked us if we were interested in getting a 2nd pizza to go, they would remind the the kitchen to send out warm food next time...
Consistently underwhelming. Lots of potential but the fòod is not great and the service is also mediocre.
Delicious Italian foood - some of the best we have had!! We loved the beef ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, spinach dip, shrimp risotto and seafood pasta. The staff were attentive and friendly. 10/10 dining experience!!! Highly recommend!
Awesome pizza, good wine and great atmosphere!
Wait staff is very friendly, food is fantastic, and the entire experience is absolutely amazing.
good restaurant. they support their staff. great pizza and pasta too
The cannelloni with its rose sauce is superb! Also really enjoyed the tomato basil pizza with balsamic glaze pizza. I do reccomend the fettuccini carbonara, haven't had it recently but it is an amazing dish!
We had great great experience with staff food and location. This is a five star experience. Highly reccomend
Best place for fine reasonably priced Italian cuisine that's for sure. With its chill and friendly atmosphere we will most defiantly be returning
Ordered first time pizza for take out, was quite disappointed. Just flat, no salt, no garlic. Still way better than the chains of course! But just third place behind Via Cibo and first place, Fratelli.
Had the seafood pasta and it was bad. Not returning. The seafood was not fresh and the pasta sauce tasted like Heinz tomato soup. Staff was polite and efficient and was apologetic for the burnt veal Parmesan my wife had ordered. It is too bad the kitchen cooks are not stepping up. This is the first time I write a review!
Excellent service, the waiter was very helpful. The food was good, fresh pasta.
The pizzas had a really authentic feel from the oven. Overall the atmosphere was awesome and the serving staff were really nice. I enjoyed my time over there.
Good ideas, could use better execution. Pasta is fresh but not hand made and so a little over cooked. Pizza was nice enough but lacked slightly in seasoning and freshness. For the oven it would also be awesome if tables had a complementary bread or a daily special bread for the table and promoted. A Portuguese water bread is super easy and delicious in a wood oven. Servers were very good, attentive and knowledgable of the menu.
Food was awesome...very loud dining experience..waitress forgot to give us serviettes when appetizer arrived..but all in all loved our experience!
10/10 would recommend !!! I eat on their patio all the time and order take out frequently. Always amazing quality and amazing staff.
Great to get there early enough to ask to be seated in more private space (room). Perfect for a sm celebration. Top it off with a wood oven pizza....delicious!
Everything was fantastic. AGAIN. BRAISED BEEF ravioli, gnocchi alla vodka, fried risotto balls app, salsicce pizza, bottle a valpolicella... can’t go wrong. Please don’t miss this spot!
Their take out is absolutely discusting!!!!

Meal type
I was not impressed with the food was very hard to order due to the menu not being explanatory. For starters are appetizer went to someone else's table then waited over an hour for our food and it was not satisfactory at all not even close for the price you pay. Service was ok. Never again, I'd rather fast food if that's the price I'm paying for that quality of food.
Pretty upset about this place to the point it's lingered on my mind for days . After passing this place daily I decided to plan a romantic date night out & chose digusto* as I was craving Italian wholesome food . We arrived and waited 14 mins to be seated when there was only 2 tables dining. The blond waiter walked past multiple times and one brunette . Finally a younger brunette seated us. The pizza maker was aware of us and we did wave our hands around so that was confusing ... still kept positive spirit as young folks later at night tend to get tired and we get it . So I order pasta and so does my fiancé . The young man who took my order by the way was the most amazing most knowledgable person in the entire restaurant and im sure he was a new hire which was impressive 10/10 for service and knowledge . My fiancé and I do NOT eat pork. He notified us that the pasta and salad we ordered included pancetta and if we take out the meat it would be discounted or we can sub it for a small portion of shrimp . We told him the sub would be sufficient and he went to talk with kitchen . When he got back the new manager that hasn't been there too long told him NO substitute even though it's for religious reasons and NO discount for removal of meat .... cool again we didint mind as we are focused on a good date night out . The waiter was told by the manager to offer us - " JUMBO SHRIMP FOR 1.50$ a peice " we did not receive jumbo shrimp at all ..... and that's expensive any how ... of course we still paid for it . Then the NEW MANAGER brings our salads out WITH PORK ALL OVER IT AND TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY . He doesn't apologize he just says " I'll be right back " ... my take on this is a poorly managed night . And the employees paid for it . Everyone was lazy because Management did not reflect efficiency and respect so why would employees follow suit ? Also if the waiters are detailed and taught a menu that needs to be followed no matter what chef or manger is working it's not fair .
First time here - Great food, great atmosphere, felt very comfortable with the CoVid guidelines in place - the charity bread goes to charity and is a great way to start your meal so order it too. Looking forward to my next first.
Great service, better food. The lasagna was amazing.
Best pizza in Sudbury by far!!
The food and service was as great as always Thank you Julie Liz & Dan
Excellent food ,and service above and beyond expectations would recommend to everyone!!
Awesome pizza, awesome and friendly service!
Absolutely fantastic, we have moved away and have yet to find a place similar to this.
Amazing smells when you walk into the restaurant. Atmosphere is wonderful. For a first time visit, I'll definitely have to check out the rest of the menu.
The pizza here is fairly standard for Italian, nothing too mind blowing. However the fetucini carbonara was so unbelievably good, I had to eat 1/4 of my wife's food. Hands down best carbonara we've ever had.
Came here twice for the mussels and pasta. Amazing taste for mussels, always will stop by the restaurant if I come north.
We think we had the best pizza we have ever had. Coincidentally (not!) It is also the best Caesar salad. Great new find for us!
Great environment and service! Exceptional pizza!!
Amazing food! Great service!
Great service and real ethnic food
Well organized restaurant and always helpful staff! I have eaten here for years and will be back.
Food was awesome!! And they backed it up with some fantastic cheesecake for desert !!!!
Excellent fresh pasta and dough made on site! Wood-fired pizzas were perfectly cooked with the right amount of cheese and toppings. My son really enjoyed the beef ravioli dish and their salads are fresh and put together well with the dressing. Please be aware that there is a misleading Trip Advisor review that says the restaurant has a vegan menu. IT DOESN'T. The owner of the restaurant has tried to change it, but T.A. says the poster has to take it down. Thanks again for a fantastic meal!
Three of us shared the caliente pizza, gnocchi (big size) and spinach dip and was impressed. The pizza had a light, airy yet crispy crust, the spinach dip is super cool as bread is baked over it. The dip is whipped or something and very flavorful with some artichoke. The gnocchi is to die for. Wow. Its a rose/vodka sauce. Delicious!! I'll definitely be back.
Place was amaaaaaaazing. So yummy and tasty. Prices are good for the large portions you get. I went back a few times cause I enjoyed it a lot. Would highly recommend.
I do not recommend based on their discriminatory business ethics. Used to go there often for lunch when working near by. But won’t be going again based on how they’re treating customers with medical exemptions.
Good food but wine ridiculously high priced
Nice wine list and good service.
Fabulous food and wine. Great menu choices and plan to go back during my stay to try some other things. I was presently surprise with the flavours in my pizza arugula prosciutto fresh mozzarella (delish!). I really enjoyed my meal and the wine selection as well! Service was good also and I loved the ambiance. Thank you!
Came here for the first time last night with my family to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful time. We had a private room for the 8 of us and and wood oven pizza where we tried each other’s. I had the “blanco” pizza which was made of thin crust, garlic oil, spiced ricotta, salami and prosciutto. To wash it down, I had a Coors light ????
The food in general is fine. But the tartufk is clearly what we came for! Only place in town I know I can get it.
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere. A little loud ... just like nonna's on Sundays!
Very good food, pasta made on site. Pizzas are amazing.
To start, this place is fantastic ALL AROUND! The food, the owners and the service. Hands down the beat Caesar salad dressing and spinach dip in the city, and of course the wood fire pizza is amazing!!! It’s really disheartening to see all of the fake negative reviews being left by anti maskers. Should the mandatory use of face masks not prove that this business cares deeply about the safety and well being of their staff? Several years ago I worked at Di Gusto when I was a student so I know what the company is all about first hand. They treat you like family, and they take great pride in serving incredible food to their city. They are involved in local charities and are really proud to be an active part of the community to help make it a better place for all. For strangers to try and negatively impact livelihood of this restaurant and the family is awful. It is difficult enough for many small business to survive during this pandemic, and these small business are the true economic engines behind our local community - they support our community and local economy everyday. They need our support right now, and they deserve it. Di Gusto is a top notch establishment with great staff and ownership to say at the very least. Highly recommend this place over and over again.
The chicken parm and calamari was delicious. Thank you
Incredible tasty food. Burata is a delicious mozzarella ball recommended for the cheese lovers. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend this place.
Very good place, recommend you can try it.
BEWARE NON MEAT EATERS! My wife and I don't eat meat. We went there 6 months ago and were both sick after. We were then invited to a birthday party recently, and again the both of us were sick. Either unsanitary cooking conditions or they cook vegetarian things with the same stuff they cook meat with. Either way, won't be going back.
Honestly, one of the best pasta carbonara's I have ever had! My husband kept stealing my food, it was that good. We were so happy that we decided to check out this restaurant during our short stay in Sudbury. They also had hand sanitizer on every single table. It's great to see businesses that take the pandemic seriously. Courteous staff and amazing food. You can't go wrong with Di Gusto!
Dine in
This 5 star review is in response to their Covid-19 response. It's a tough business and having people leave 1 star because they don't want to wear a mask is unfair. Businesses are trying to get back on their feet and comply with new regulations. Be grateful you can still afford a night out during a pandemic. Di Gustos is delicious and the service has been fantastic. We picked up curbside many times the last few months!
Great pizza, good buzz, wine a bit overpriced
DiGusto is the best restaurant you'll ever go to! All of the food is AMAZING, it's a family-friendly restaurant with FANTASTIC staff!! You should go.....right now!!!!
My order was great; however someone else at my table had a terrible dinner.
We had a bd party of 15...reserved in advance..letting them k ow we had two wheelchairs...nothing was prepared...I should say menus were at the tables..service was fair...for a large party..food wasn't up to their standards...everyone commented..the same..place was packed...and hearing grumblings from customers...go back to your high standards...things are slipping...way too much salt...on everything...
Meal type
Went for a family meal, excellent service and the food was great!
Good pasta dishes. The desserts are huge but a bit too sweet.
My Family comes here all the time for lunch and dinner. The Carbonara is Amazing! My Favourite place to eat in town! Everyone there are all so friendly. Everyone is super friendly and the food is great! Everything is made in house and super fresh. 10/10 There is patio, weather permitting. Friendly and fast service.
Wonderful food and equally wonderful service! Highly recommend. Nice, relaxed, 'wine cellar' atmosphere.
The food here was great and the service was prompt. This is a popular spot so it was busy (and a little loud) when we went there for supper. They have a small but nice selection of local craft beers.
Usually have such great pizza here but this time it was soggy, too flimsy.. they cook so quickly we should have waited longer to order and ask for it to be well cooked, not as smokey tasting this time either?
Food is amazing. Top notch in every way. Thank you Di Gusto for the wonderful night.
Best cesare salad around
A month ago, I took my family out for dinner (5 of us). We ordered bruschetta for five, and instead of crusty bread, it was pizza dough, barely cooked with 5 slices of tomato on it. No bruschetta at all. Bland and tasteless for $13.95. We ordered our meals (2 seafood at $30 each) and barely any of it. Two spaghetti and meatballs, and one lasagna. ALL OF THE PASTA WAS OVERCOOKED AND LOOKED AND TASTED LIKE A PILE OF GLUE! This restaurant knows NOTHING about Italian cooking (pasta should be al dente) and is highly overpriced for what you get. My sister and I didn't eat the pasta, but I guess the guys were hungrier than we were. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will never go there again!! You shouldn't either!
Lots and lots of Italian fare but little else !! Meal was excellent
Excellent service and food was fantastic. Was really shocked to see the bill for that quality of food and service. Amazing!
Great service and pasta / antipasti !
Best ???? pizza I ever ate.
Great dinner! Amazing on the quality checks! We were very pleased.
Fantastic service friendly people Amazing food spinach dip was unbelievable. My compliments to the chef
The service is good. The food is also good, but many dishes were toooo salty. We really liked calamari. Ceasar salad was good, but the dressing was too salty. I could not finish it although it's my favourite salad and gave it to my husband. Ravioli were good, but the sauce was a bit too salty as well. Meat on pizza was a bit too salty as well.
Excellent wine list and value for the available bottle selection. Very well-worked dough, an excellent selection of pizza toppings and wonderful service. Will come back next time we are in Sudbury!
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was beyond delicious. Huge servings. Beautifully presented. Service was excellent. They deserve 6 stars.
Always great comfort food
Meal type
My daughter’s cross country team ate here the night before the OFSAA XC championships nearby. Restaurant was loud as others had mentioned, but the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and accommodating and we had a great time! The Caesar salad was amazing! So...More. Very good Italian cuisine. Several pasta mains as well as signature wood fired oven pizzas. Good wine list. The service is very good at the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy with tables, booths and a common table.
From out hotel there were high recommendations for Di Gusto... and when we asked someone for directions later ... more good comments. Thus our (my mother and I) expectations were high. I am writing this because I like the people I saw working there and I want to give some honest feedback that may help. What we liked ... staff was nice, helpful and attentive and they liked what they were doing. The manager was present and attentive and she cared. Food prices were very reasonable. The food temperature was fine. Our disappointment was our food. We had Red Pepper Soup (name may be off a bit). I though it had no flavor. Mum thought it had a bit of a burnt flavor. They were out of lasagna so we ordered Spaghetti . Price was $17. We split. 1) Meatballs although big .... had no flavor. they looked cheap. I asked if they were beef. They looked like a mixture of meats .. and maybe a filler. We were told they were pork and beef. Same comment on flavor for sauce and pasta which they make. My comment was .. just no flavor. Mum's comment ... it almost tasted canned. We did not finish it. Although not a bad flavor It did not compel you at all to want more.. Among other things I would rather have smaller meat balls all beef with better taste. For me, I would rather pay $2 more for the spaghetti and have some much better flavor.
Great food! Great atmosphere!
Very authentic Italian food
Celebrated my birthday here. The food and service was excellent. We were seated in the private room and it was perfect. I had the Caprese Toscana Pizza and it was delicious (missing a little bit of salt but delicious. Loved their custom beer glasses. They surprised me with a delicious light and fluffy chocolate cheesecake and sang to me. Great atmosphere at reasonable prices as everything is made fresh to order.
Meal was not good no taste
First time in Sudbury. Great place for have a bite.
Great Pizza and Pasta. Try the Beef Ravioli its wonderful.
I just love this place. The food is always delicious, and there is plenty of it. You need to get there early if you want the lasagna!
Great place and great service. Stayed over 45 mins after closing just for us
Great place to eat!
Di Gusto's has great appetizers and great pizza. I don't always get the pizza because their other entrees are really good too. I like that they also have local beer on tap. The staff is really friendly.
Had a ton of fun here, with great pizza and service. The only complaint are the tomatoes on the pizza, they are humongous.
Great pizza and pasta, lovely wine lust, excellent service.
Incredible food and such friendly, helpful staff
I had visited this place in the past and it was meh each time (talking years ago though). We were looking for a new place to try for dinner after a play and decided the menu here sounded like it would hit the spot. I'm happy I tried this place again because it redeemed itself many times over. nice
If I could put zero stars I would. Customer service by manager and OWNER is TERRIBLE!! I thought the managers attitude was bad but the Owners was worse! completely disrespectful, unproffessional & blatantly rude. For starters I wouldnt recommend going there in the first place but if you happen to...I wouldnt say anything should there be an issue with the order..just leave & never look back ....unless you want you want your head bitten off.
Very yummy food.
I ended up here based on all of the positive reviews that I read while trying to find a great pizza place during a short visit to Sudbury. As I often am, I was fairly skeptical about the positive reviews, as it seems that many people are satisfied with mediocrity particularly when it comes to Pizza. Luckily, the reviews were dead-on, and I greatly enjoyed my visit here! We tried a few different things, but the Highlight was definitely the pizza itself. We ordered the diavola, and it was amazing! Really great Neapolitan style pizza. We also had the gnocchi which was on the specials menu, and it was to die for! Last but not least, we received excellent service. Our server was fast, courteous, and knowledgeable! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Reasonable prizes, great portions and excellent flavours. Everything feels fresh and high quality. The best Italian restaurant in Sudbury, hands down.
All fresh, house made food that tasted incredible! Very fast and friendly service. Looking forward to visiting again.
Delicious wood fired pizza and very friendly staff
Always delicious food and fantastic service!
We ordered the Calamari, Gnocchi Alla Vodka, and Nonna's Meatballs. All tasted great and was good quality but a little disappointed in the portion size with respect to price of the calamari ($15 for about 14 calamari rings) and that there were only 2 Meatballs ($12). Both are antipasti but seems a little overpriced. Gnocchi was exceptional and was a hit with the kids. Would try again, but maybe more entrees and less of the antipasti.
Amazing food! The spinach and artichoke dip was to die for. The mushroom risotto was creamy and flavorful. Staff was really friendly. Handled our large hockey group very well. Will be back next time we are in Sudbury.
Took my daughter here for a quick dinner and it was well worth it as always. Generous portions, friendly wait staff and delicious food. If you enjoy thin crust pizza from a wood fired oven, this is the best place in town. Their pasta servings are huge and the selection is great. The place can get pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays, and it can get pretty raucous, but that's the flair about the place. It's supposed to have that open air big extended family dining room feel to it. Find a chair, sit down at the big table and let nina feed you until you burst. Mangia!
They only have local craft draft beer. Caesar salad excellent. Meat balls and sauce excellent. Pasta horrible tasted like cardboard very under cooked. Waitress was very pleasant and her service was excellent.
Food is amazing and you will not be hungry when you leave this place!!!!
Had a wonderful lunch , our server Mikayla was amazing.
If you visit Sudbury this place is a must. Real authentic Italian food with great prices. Love the relaxed atmosphere and staff are friendly.
All were good except pasta..it was too cheesy !!!
We had a very good meal here. Probably the only fresh meal we had, during our entire Canadian holiday.
We were traveling and stopped in Sudbury for the night. Looked up local restaurants and decided on DiGusto's. Great choice. We were seated right away and our very friendly server explained the menu to us. My wife had a ceasar salad and I had mussels to start both were very good. We split a Canadese Eh pizza, very good as well. Will definitely stop in on our next rrip through.
Very good pizza and strong first impression. Will return here the next time I am in Sudbury and try some of their pasta.
Huge portions, friendly staff, fresh food.
Expensive but good quality italian food with nice staff!
Food is great, staff were friendly
Great Pizza great service. Pizza is one of my favorite foods and this place does it justice. Close in quality and taste to what I had in Napoli.
Awsome food. Fast service. Great authentic Italian food. I had the pizza and it was great.
Yoo many good things to list.
Probably the best ravioli I've ever had, and the waitress spoke fantastic French which was important for my date.
Really good pizza!
My family got pizza, it was delicious, since I don't eat gluten, I got the only option for main menu, chicken, was delicious as well. I'm only wish they incorporate more options for people with food sensitives.
Excellent food and excellent service! We will definitely be back soon!
Lunch
Delicious authentic food! Great service and reasonably priced! Tiramisu is to die for!! Highly recommend this beautiful little gem!
This place was absolutely amazing in every way! Service, food, atmosphere...just incredible. The picture is of empty plates because I couldn't wait long enough for pictures before!
As a regular fanatic about Pizza I was told that while in Sudbury this was a must try. I do agree and find to put in perspective a understatement. The begining of experience started with a very warm welcome and greeting making me feel at home . Then it hit me the essence of pizza in the air overwelming me with nothing but anxiety. Once seated at a 2 seat booth with a perfect perspective and view of the complete main core of this casual dining I was made to feel right at home. My server / waitress instantly was appearing to becoming my friend and advisor of this delightful pizza eatery. Filtered water, and a smile with guidance to say what your preference is how we serve your meal. To me thats a fabulous extension to what is expected by myself and many of my family and friends. To sum things up a "Meat lovers pizza designed to my personal tastes " proved to me as in ny experience a must see must go to while in Sudbury. The Variable way or offerings such as limited home made Lasagna show that its true home cooking and personal care. Dessert menu changing daily muliple wine selections and Draft Beer to please. To the friends I made though a temporary while in town overnight . Thankyou and keep up the great work!
Greatest pizza and wine I've ever had in my life !!!!!!!
Great service, nice wines. Loved the salads and the arancini!
If you want authentic Italian food in a nice relaxed environment this is definitely the place to go. We've sat at a table in a quiet corner and also enjoyed watching pizza made in the oven while sitting at the oven bar. It's our "go to place" to eat and want to show it off to all of our friends.
The evening starts off with a warm welcome, Devine wine recommendation. Once the food arrives: Each bite that is taken, the world stops for a brief moment, & you find yourself full of a sense of gratitude towards your food and its creators. Di Gusto, Authentic taste, feel and warmth. Thankful we get to share such a marvelous restaurant with our loved ones and sudbury The only regret you have, is not having more time.
Best Pizza and pasta I’ve ever had. Period.
Very good food, excellent service!
Great pizza and friendly staff.
Delicious wood fired pizza with interesting toppings. Good appetizers and drinks as well. Cozy atmosphere and usually busy.
I STAND WITH THIS PLACE 100% IF YOU DON'T WEAR A MASK, YOU ARE A STRAIGHT UP L-OOOOO-SER
DROOL. Pizza, pasta, wine? Everything I need to be happy. Di Gusto has a top notch menu, amazing wine list and tasty cocktails. The staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is stunning. I always look forward to dining in or taking out a delicious meal.
Excellent Italian restaurant in the South end of Sudbury. Great selection and the prices are good too. Friendly staff and great dining experience.
Very good food, nosiy environment though
The best spinach dip
Amazing food and even better staff!
Great pizza, Great food, lovely place to have a meal with your family or friend. Waiter are friendly.
We stop by on our way to this nice restaurant. The staff was hands down very friendly and kind. Our server offered us some paper plates and cutlery as soon as she learned that we were passing by sudbury and travelling further. The ambience and food was also good. We enjoyed our lunch since everything was home made. Will stop by on our way back.
excellent and safe to go, they follow public health directions, I like that and I like the food
Probably the best italian restaurant I ever eat in. Seriously, the service was flawless and the food is divine! I strongly recommend for an amazing evening with friend or family.
They have great pizza and pasta
Food was excellent and the service also, well worth the visit.
Di Gutsto food was just Ok in my humble opinion but some of our party enjoyed their meal much more than I. My pizza was lacking taste and this was wood baked pizza. The delivery of the food took extremely long over 1 hour, but we tried to keep in mind we were a group of 12 and I suspect they wanted all the meals delivered together. The one service personnel that was looking after our table, I believe had another table of 20 ladies soccer team as well. Despite this she did her best and tried to be engaging. However, you can't connect with those you are responsible for serving if you have two large group to take care of on the go. The resturant also needed a significant face lift or at least a fresh coat of paint. There is a thick film of grease all over the walls and ceiling. The floor looks like it has sustained chip from wear and tear. While most individuals would say this does not affect the taste of the food I would say and evening out is a combination of all aspects of the dining experience which includes the ambiance. I could put up with the grease covered walls and the floor if the food was outstanding but the work of cleaning and refurbishment would still have to be completed. I have admiringly become a bit of a foodie and love new experience but I selected this resturant based on the reviews by others and even took my mother in law's recommendation into account as well since we were in town for a family reunion. But like all experiences you need to take all rexommendation into consideration and experience it for yourself. So please experience it for yourself and make up your own mind. However, my experience only a 3 star and I am being generous. If we make it back to Sudbury I will give this resturant another try and post another.
The usual great experience of good home cooked italian food. Everything on the menu is yummy!!!!!
My Family comes here all the time for lunch and dinner. The Carbonara is Amazing! My Favourite place to eat in town! Everyone there are all so friendly. Came for lunch and enjoyed our Arugula pizza. Great dips too and hand sanitizers on each table. There is patio, weather permitting. Friendly and fast service.
Wow! The linguine with red clam sauce blew my mind here. It was the perfect mix of herbs, spices in the sauce and pasta was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Next time I'll try a wood-fired pizza.
I absolutely love visiting DiGusto and make a point of visiting now and then. I went with my family shortly after they reopened their dining room and it was a lovely experience. Great food, great staff, and I highly recommend them. I appreciate that they follow current mandates for mask usage - it was fantastic to see. Please support this business!!
Had: arancini, four cheese pizza and meat lovers pizza, humble pie wine, and tiramisu. Huge fan. First visit and I will be back! Especially loved the tiramisu and four cheese pizza. Meat lovers pizza and arancini could have used salt but that can be done at the table with the delicious oils supplied.
Excellent food, excellent service. I also love all of the people whining about not being able to enter without a mask and the owner's responses. Just goes to show how petty and stubborn some people are. Stay Classy Di Gusto!
If you're looking for superb Italian food in Sudbury, come here. Almost everything is made here from scratch. The emphasis on everything is quality, and it shows. You must try it for yourself.
Awesome staff, great food!
Wow! Spectacular food from the wood fired oven. Try anything; you won't be disappointed.
Excellent service and very tasty food.
Great food , great service. Friendly and attentive staff.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Loved the open pizza bar where you are able to watch the chefs create your pizza from scratch. Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a trendy and hip Italian resturant with classic notes.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Love it!
Awesome place to eat. The food is all fresh and the staff are great. And not too expensive.
Amazing food! The stone baked pizza is beyond your imagination and the homestyle favorites like lasagna, and spaghetti bolognaise, are mind-blowing! So much Italian goodness!
Festive restaurant. Excellent homemade italian food! Plenty of parking. A MUST in Sudbury !
Magnifico! My stomach still has day dreams over the Cannelloni. Tried the Ravioli too that night... wow! The food is terrific, with service to match!
First let's start with the décors.... absolutely charming! Brit, my server, was warm and professional and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. My handcrafted personal pizza was delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
Pizza and calamari were great, pasta and salad were below average. Extra charge for bread, service is friendly but slow. $8 for a tallboy.
Great pizza, probably the best in Sudbury, perfectly cooked, and the crust was very light. Also the service was Fun!
We were in Sudbury for a few days for a meeting at the nearby Holiday inn, and this wonderful Italian restaurant become our go to place for dinner. Terrific pizzas, excellent pasta and a very good wine selection, as well as a more than adequate beer selection. We agree there 3 times in 5 nights and I'll go again if we're ever back in the area.
Excellent food!
Thank you Di Gusto for taking this pandemic seriously and helping to teach the community proper in-restaurant safety guidelines. I love the food here and am happy to see a local business that cares so much about the well-being of the city. I could eat your pizza all day!
One of the better Italian restaurants in Sudbury. Exceptional service and delicious food. The tiramisu for dessert is a must.
The place is well decorated with rustic charm and a modern flare. The food is made with perfection and nothing but the freshest ingredients. This is my third time eating there and I haven't been disappointed yet. Awesome experience!
One of the best restaurants in Sudbury, and definitively the best Italian restaurant in that town. The food is always amazing, and never had any problems with the service.
Great service. The best italian food we have ever had. Definitely recommend coming here.
Great food, but the staff and owner do not tolerate persons who are unable to wear a face mask for any reason. 6 foot distancing isnt something the restaurant understands
The Fettucchine Carbonara is one of the best I have ever had. Will be going back
Fabulous staff and servers. Excellent food. Mineral water to start. Awesome experience.
All fresh, lovely staff, pizza and pasta to die for
Akways fabulous. Wait staff very professional as well ad personable
Ambience is good. The food is expensive. I didn't like the taste of pizza and pasta. It may be because i like food with spices (I throughly enjoy Dominos, Pizza Nova). pasta was sweet. As it was my first time eating here, I couldn't tell whether it supposed to be sweet.
Went to the restaurant for dinner with a friend and family. The service was good and the staff were very nice and friendly. Honestly I loved the service that we received. It did not take too long for the food to get there. Ordered the meatballs and bruschetta for appetizers. Meatballs were ok, though I have tasted better and the bruschetta had an overwhelming amount of tomatoes chopped into large slices and lots of spices. I could only eat the crust and took everything else off. The crust was delicious however. I really did like eating it. The service was really nice when my friend, who was lactose intolerant, asked for a pizza without cheese and even warned of the spiciness beforehand. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, for $16 I might add. The serving amount was a bit smaller than I thought but the pizza my friend got was a lot bigger than we thought. My friend took one bite of the pizza and automatically did not like it. Her mom took a bite and shared the same opinion. I shared my meatballs with her and that was all she had to eat along with the bruschetta. My friend discovered that the meatballs were undercooked due to some pink meat still showing through on the inside. We both stopped eating them after that. My opinion of the spaghetti was that it didn't taste great but it didn't taste too bad either. It was just at the price we were charged, I was expecting something a little more tasteful. The meatballs were a bit bland on the spaghetti, having more flavour the first time with the appetizers. Though that is my personal opinion of them. My friend stated that she really enjoyed the taste of it. In the end, the pizza wasn't finished but the staff were nice about it, taking it off the bill since we didn't really eat any of it. Overall, the food wasn't that amazing, being about average for some of the dishes, while others just weren't great at all. The staff and service are amazing though. They are really friendly and understanding. I give that and the building 5 stars. It was really nice eating in there. In addition, I would recommend this place to other people, though try testing some of the other food before going for the pasta. And just watch what you are eating. Just during the meal, we brought up several times that my friend could not have dairy, but she ended up sick in the bathroom for a while due to her taking a bite out of one of the food items served with the meatballs as an appetizer. I don't remember the name of it. Also another negative would have been trying to get through the menu. All the categories and food titles were in Italian. I understand that it is an Italian restaurant but I didn't feel like trying anything that I didn't already know what it is because of the names. Being unable to understand most of the things with a small ingredient list didn't help too much either. I was staring at the menu a good 10-15 minutes before I decided on one of the only things that I knew anything about. The menu made it a little hard to want to try new things. Overall, nice restaurant. Just could use a few things on the menu and food prep.
Service
Love this place. Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service staff.
Great food. Probably the best bruschetta I've had. Excellent service too.
We had a nice meal. Consistently good when I visit Sudbury.
The food was cooked perfectly and you could tell every little peice of food was real and fresh. The ceasar salad, the red pepper soup, the pizza, all looked and tasted fresh contrary to many Sudbury restaurants. I wouldn't give a review unless I was truly impressed... Third time eating there and it wont be the last.
Manicotti and spinach dip were excellent! Service was great food was fast! Loved it
I only like this place in Sudbury to eat best pizza.
This is definitely my favourite restaurant! The food is exceptional and the staff is SO nice!
Amazing food. Pasta was fantastic and the appetizers are delicious.
A definite 6 stars firstly all the food is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Amazing service and stylish vibe. An icon of Sudbury food scene. My friend is addicted for years
Food was delicious and service was excellent! Will definitely go back!
Good contemporary Italian in a nice space.
Meal started with a great server Kristie and her suggestions made for a wonderful meal and experience.
Excellent food every time we come. Only ever had one minor issue and the staff was really great with dealing with it. Friendly and professional service, wonderful dishes and deserts and the bartender knows what they're doing, too. I make sure I come every time I'm in town.
I visited here in late Aug 2020. Very happy to see their Covid safety protocols being strictly adhered to. Plus great food, great service- hence an awesome evening for me and my family.
Horrible service. They screamed at me because i forgot to put my mask on to go to the bathroom.
Amazing food! Well worth the price due to portion sizes
Amazing pizza and friendly staff!
Simply some of the best food in town. Great service and staff.
Great service, ok pizza
So pleased Di Gusto's is strictly following all covid protocol. My husband & I felt safe even with his health issues of cancer & heart disease. It has been our favorite even before the pandemic. The spinach dip THE BEST, the vegetarian pizza, polite and accommodating staff. Now with the new renovations, private booths, clean, distancing and other protocol adhered to....we will certainly be back and will highly recommend it. ????????
Shocked when I went to have dinner here and they refused entry due to medical mask exemption. They refused, got all worked up and discriminated against me. Not a good environment at all. Take your money and eat elsewhere, much better dining places in sudbury without contempt and harassment.
Very well set up for take out. Good food. Moderate prices. Although we did not dine in, the atmosphere seemed very nice. Would love to return and relax and dine indoors.
fresh home made everything
We ordered takeout and it was wonderful. During the shutdown due to covid in Ontario, it is nice to have a gourmet pizza every now and again and this place lives up to the challenge!! Thin crust, wood oven baked, customized. Can't beat it. Eat in is always excellent as well. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant in the Sudbury area, I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta dish I had! Great spot in the south end.
First time going to Di Gusto. Their pizza is amazing and we will certainly be going back. The service was excellent.
Pizza, calamari and Ceasar salad was delicious. Service was also very good. We will recommend and return one day.
Great food wonderful staff recommended to all my friends coming to Sudbary
Had roasted red pepper soup. Was just ok went up $2 Waited forever for pizza. Losts interest and left. I think they forgot to order it.?
authentic pizza , fabulous bruscetta, friendly staff
We were looking for a non-fast food place in Suds, not far from the highways as we travelled through. Had a great, high quality meal. Lots of seating outside and spaced far apart. Staff consistently wore their masks and respectfully asked us to do so if we went inside. Had a cheerful and helpful server, Lexi. Lexi and all staff were attentive to our needs and how our meals were. Food arrived quickly. This will become an enjoyable way to break up a long drive that goes through Sudbury.
Best tiramisu always a great meal
Like visiting Italy for pizza Fabulous
This place is a must! The service is always amazing and it's a pure delight for the senses form the second you open the door! The smell of the wood burning oven just wraps around you, the cozy but rustic, modern decor including one community style table in the middle with gorgeous warm lighting and a fun mix of Italian oldies and new songs played at just the right volume so you can hear it very clearly but you don't need to raise your voice to be heard! And of course the food is just beyond delicious and made fresh from scratch served in nice big portions (even for the kids) with yummy drinks to compliment your dinner! Also kid friendly without that "family restaurant chain" vibe! My toddler gobbles up the food and so did her cousins when they visited! You gotta! Just maybe don't wear your "skinny day" pants ????
Get food. Great staff. I would highly recommend
Abrupt end to an evening. Last week friends met up after months of not going out or seeing each other. The wait staff were very attentive and spot on with each order. Calamari starter nice presentation but lacking flavour. The pizza (we had arugula and caprese) has flat tasting dough but the toppings were generous and fresh. At 8:32 (upon all 6 remaining tables having paid their bills) the owner came out and asked us to leave, get out now ‘no shenanigans, the alarm is set for 9:00, leave now’ The most unsettling experience of 4 50something women’s lives. It was an unfortunate experience to say the least. Obviously all businesses are under duress with COVID however, there are many ways to deliver a message.
Good food! I love the spinach dip with bread bowl. Not a big fan of the pizzas but that’s most likely a personal preference issue. Pastas are great!
Being from out of town I relied on locals to suggest where to eat. Was not disappointed at all and would certainly visits this restaurant when I'm back in town. Food presentation and service was exceptional
Nice friendly staff, there weren't enough highchairs, the gnocchi was to big and doughy. The pesto pasta had so much pesto I couldn't tell what was chicken and what was pasta. Music was loud, but otherwise a good spot. Food has a nice flavour, just needs a bit of attention to detail.
I'm so glad they were in the top choices of my search for restaurants in Sudbury. Really impressed by the decor inside and the music, they really ally compliment each other. Service was fantastic! We chose to sit at the bar in front of the wood fire oven and it was a great experience. Menu is fantastic, not too many choices but a nice variety in each category. The charity bread is worth it! It is so delicious, especially topped off with some oil at your table. Very good value, great quality food and and ambiance that makes you feel very comfortable. You'll want to stay for hours and try everything!
I had the Marsalla dish, it was excellent
Amazing staff and great food.
Was just amazed by this place. The atmosphere was great, the wood fire oven smelled great. The waitress was very pleasant, but the food was THE BEST I have eaten in all of Sudbury's restaurants. I have never been so full.. Great food, not overly expensive either. I'm not from Sudbury, but would move there just to be able to eat here everyday!
Great food, good price, definitely return.
I have never been disappointed with Di Gusto. Also, best spinach dip I've ever had in my life.
5 star all day long. My server was sweet, efficient and didn't rush us out. The food was amazballz! Of course we had the pizza with some mussels and salad. Thank you! ????
Service was good, she spilled a tray of drinks on my brothers girlfriend And neice. She was horrified but manager said it was our fault. Too many people in the room, only holds 12 we had 14. Waitress tripped on a step coming into the room. No I'm sorry from manager only from waitress. No comps for the drinks or anything. Drinks ruined girlfriend's purse and nieces top. Never to return..worse customer service I've had in years.
Great food and service!
Best lasagna in town! Underrated restaurant in Sudbury.
The pizza was very tasty. The crust tasted great. If you haven't tried it yet, you should.
Didn't wait to be seated. Food came out quickly and our pastas were fantastic.
Excellent pasta and pizza. Great service. Highly recommended.
Food and service was excellent
Tried a few Italian places in Sudbury this was the best by far
I love the antipasti; cannelloni is also a great choice. If you're not in a booth, it's loud, but the service has always been good.
Amazing food & a cozy, family atmosphere!
Food is great in all, but their pizzas are something that should explored more than anything else. Atleast for me it was.
Great Service/ Pizza !
Was not really blown away. Pasta and pizza were decent but i've had much better in town. They had no beer selection saying the "truck never came in" (we went on a Friday evening) and it was ridiculously loud at the bar. For the price you pay to not to be able hear your own conversation at your table... its not worth it.
The food was amazing if your looking for great pasta or killer wood stove pizza this is the place to go. They were very accommodating for are large group so long as you reserve the day before. The staff was very friendly despite being a very busy restaurants.
I understand that they have the right to protect their employees but I would really appreciate explaining how wearing a mask to take the ten steps to my table makes a difference when once I was seated I longer had to wear one? Where is the logic? Where is the science? Does Covid-19 actually know to stop working while I sit at my table eating. I offered to cover my face with my sweater but it wasn’t good enough? What is the difference. A mask is way thinner than my sweater. This has nothing to do with safety but with discriminating against people who have serious medical issues. PS. It’s incredibly hard to get an exemption from your Dr unless they deem it necessary. To the owner: Thanks for the reply. I do travel to see family and friends that live there.
Very loud, but fantastic food. Food was quick and service was great
fresh flavours and great service
Great lunch special.
Stopped on our way back home from a cottage in northern Ontario. This place is amazing, delicious pizza and pasta, very much comparable to Italian places in Toronto/Woodbridge. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Italian food. Revised: we went back up North for our summer week long cottage trip and stopped here again. Fettuccini Carbonara is amazing and so is the gnocchi. Refer the my previous comments for the rest.
Perfect meal. Perfect ambiance. Just a wonderful place to eat.
We had a reservation on New Years Eve. Our server Kelly was amazing. She took pictures for us and was very attentive and accomodating, always making sure we had everything we needed.
Wow, a hidden gem! Amazing food! The service was excellent! Best restaurant in Sudbury by far!!!
Atmosphere is very enjoyable, and the booths are nice and private. The food is amazing, especially the homemade pasta and pizzas - I got the lasagna, which had a thick fluffy layer of ricotta! You can really tell the difference with the homemade noodles too - great texture! Very decent sized servings. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable with regards to the menu and the drink pairings. 10/10 would recommend for a really great meal suitable for any occasion.
Food was authentic Italian. Wait staff were friendly and attentive.
I ain't never seen meatballs so big in my life
Great food!!
Boyfriend dined here this evening and called immediately to tell me about the great food and quality of service! He will definitely be back.
Excellent service, wine, and food! We had the fettuccine carbonara and it was delectable. Homemade noodles and sauce were amazing. Highly reccommend.
Di Gusto's patio was absolutely beautiful and with the spacing of the tables, we felt safe and relaxed. The food as always has never disappointed. Our server was on the ball, so friendly and speedy! Wish they had a few more umbrellas to block the sun, but over all the experience was delightful!
Great food and great atmosphere! It is quite loud, some communal eating tables, therefore it's a good place to bring your kids. They have "Charity Bread" which is cool; just a few bucks for some bread and the proceeds go to charity.
Service is not professional at all. The food is just ok but not the best .. my first and last visit ???? ..
super good food , friendly staff, very covid smart took all guest at table number in case of covid case occurs
Really, amazing food and staff
SUPER (informal and warm) atmosphere. Great food. Large helpings. Try the lasagna.
Had a great experience tonight at di gustos restaurant! Ordered the charity bread, pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs. Loved the thin and tasty pizza along with the homemade pasta noodles. The server, Madi, was amazing and had great energy that really made us feel welcome. Always enjoy this place!
good food, good atmosphere, reasonable value.
Food is amazing and home made, great owners and staff a must to experience. Try their unique Sunday brunch. WOW tasty:)
Good food and excellent service every time I go
Great food, wonderful service best pizza in Sudbury
Can't say I've ever had a bad meal here.
Great place for a nice lunch.
Service
Great pasta and pizza, worst mints.
Food is awesome, great atmosphere!
Wonderful food. Great service. Ample parking and location make it a fabulous choice. Try the pizza!
Great food, nice decor
Worst pizza we've ever had. It was dry, tasteless. And the pasta was not editable. Extremely disappointing.
Everything is homemade. Pizza was delicious, amazing crust. Friendly staff.
Food is fabulous. Staff is warm & friendly. Felt like Nonna's kitchen. Was so overwhelmingly impressed when they treated our staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice to lunch in gratitude of what we do. Thank you kindly for your acknowledgement and for what you do for community.
Awesome braised beef ravioli!!
Great service. Were seated quickly. Nick served our table and offered good suggestions. The pasta was excellent. Nothing beats fresh pasta. We would definitely be back if we lived in the area but we dont.
Lunch
Great pizza. Nice wood fire oven makes the pizza taste great. Fantastic wine menu and decent selection of other drinks. Well priced as well.
Disgusting establishment run by horrible people. Avoid!!
Very cozy atmosphere. Great service.
Awesome place! People rating low have clearly never been here or are picking on Di Gusto for following government orders. Delicious food, GREAT atmosphere, would absolutely recommend!
Good food but extremly noisy.
Decent food for fair prices
The two stars are strictly for the Spinach dip which was very good. The pasta dish (Gnocchi) was decent. But, the vegetarion pizza was horrible. It had no taste and flavors. The deep fried fish (Cattua Della Settimana) made me extremely sick with abdominal pains, discomfort and frequent visit to the washroom.
Spaghetti tasted like ChefBoyRdee. Paint was chipped in spots all over the place. Sevice could have been friendlier. Nothing special.
Food and service was great!
Amazing atmosphere, and delicious food. Worth the trip!
Great service, yummy sangria and manicotti. Nice to have a real Caesar salad...so good! Try the Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake
fresh home made Italian food ..amazing ceasar salad...super delicious food at a good price
Nice authentic Italian restaurant with a good menu. Went on a thursday evening - super busy ( but we were seated in the patio right away). I enjoyed my mushroom pizza and partner had the lasagna. Made for fun left overs on our next night camping !
Good food and service. I will definitely be going here again.
One of the best pizzas I have ever had. The staff and the rest of the meal was also great.
Every single thing that came to our table was delicious.
It was ok but not the best pizza I had, the dough was unsalted and not voohed enough, beer was flat and not that cold.
Fantastic food and great service. Spinach dip is the best in town.
Great place to eat. Mona's meatballs are the best and their roasted red pepper soup is excellent. Will always recommend this place to everyone.
Good food. Nice interior.
Goodness gracious it was delicious!! Cannot get enough of this place. We usually take out because of the kids, but its always fresh, hot and super good.
Food was cold and the kitchen workers have their mask on their chins....
They make amazing pizza and pasta family friendly place but also really nice for a date
Always great food, service and environment!
We came from out of town and wanted some good pizza. We ended up getting the best pizza. The server was great and the owner was awesome, he gave us great spots to visit in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My friends and I loved it and will come back whenever we are in the area.
We absolutely enjoyed our meal this evening! I ordered their mushroom risotto and my dining partner had their pizza! The staff and atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely make it a point to stop in whenever we are in town! Thank you so much for our delicious meal!
Amazing pizza and pasta!
Made a reservation for a large party, confirmed with them an hour before, and when we got there, they wouldn't seat us. We called Taphouse, and they took us right away.
First time being here....food was very tasty and fresh ingredients make a huge difference. Nice atmosphere and our waitress was fun and engaging. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Italian food.
Delicious home made mozzarella. The oils & vinegar are flavourful! Excellent ambience too.
5/5. no religion prohibits mask wearing btw
As a Frequent Customer. DiGusto's Always has the BEST SERVICE and FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE, OH and by the Way the Food is AMAZZZING. The Portion SIZES are EXTREMELY GENEROUS. You Will Not be Disappointed Eating Italian Food Here. Pete, his Brother, and Amazing Staff have done Sudbury a GREAT Service. Keep up your AMAZING WORK. WE Will Always Return. And Tell Everybody. MIKE. G.
Di Gusto...great service, fab good food, and a COVID reno that is cozy and safe!
Love the menu and the service was great!
Our experience at Di Gusto was simply amazing. The spinach dip appetizer was to die for. Their ravioli was amazing and the chicken penne incredible. Everything was fresh made to order including fresh pasta. They also have an amazing bread bowl program that gives all proceeds to local community programs. Service was exceptional, pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We had tiramisu and cheese cake for dessert. Tiramisu was the best I have ever had. Thank you Di Gusto for an amazing evening for my wife and myself. Perfect small getaway dinner. ❤️
Always delicious always great service. Worth the reasonable price
Fantastic meal, me and my wife had the chance to find this restaurant. No tables avail... they placed us at the pizza bar ... and we had a wonderful time. Food was great, service was all star! You gotta go there !!!!
Good food. Great for groups. Staff are fantastic.
We did takeout tonight and ordered Caesar salad, pizza and chicken parm. Caesar salad was incredible and the chicken parm and pasta were great. I would have liked it better if the chicken was pounded a little thinner, but it was really tasty. The pizza crust was nice too. Great service and highly recommend this place for authentic, yummy Italian.
Rating this 5 stars because of the quality and deliciousness of the food, but the service did leave a little to be desired. We tried the alfredo and gnocchi with vodka sauce. Both pasta's were well made with fresh sauces. For dessert we had the tiramisu which is delicious rich and a generous helping for the price. Service could be a bit better as the servers did not check in to see how we were doing after the first few bites, nor throughout the meal to make sure we didn't want anything else. Thankfully the kitchen made up for what the front of house service was lacking.
Excellent service, friendly staff, veal parmesan was perfect and a portion good for 2 meals. Charity bread was great with olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided. Spicy oil was to spicy for my taste.
Fantastic restaurant with a classic Italian feel, excellent food, and a nice classy ambience
Comfortable atmosphere... Food is always delicious... The staff absolutely makes the place... We love sitting with the staff at the pizza oven and chat with them while they work. Always treated like we were the most important clients!
This was the best food I have ever had in Sudbury! The pizzas are amazing! Highly recommend (I ordered 2) also the chocolate cheesecake, don’t even get me started in that. I notice there are negative reviews below about masks. Don’t let it fool you they are just following the Ontario health and safety rules the comments are anti maskers. 10/10 will be back tomorrow!
Great authentic pizza
Great food. Amazing wood fired pizza. And our waitress Marissa was very accomadating and courteous!!
Great food and service.
Very delicious wood oven pizzas. Staff was very friendly and efficient on a busy night. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Pizza makers did a good job with keeping up with orders.
Great food. Great service. Restaurant was very busy and we ordered an appetizer. It took about fifteen minutes for the appetizer to arrive. The waiter felt this was too long (we did not feel it was too long) and so gave us the appetizers for free
Very good pizza, the egg plant was ok our waitress was fantastic
While visiting Sudbury we happened to drive by De Gusto’s. So glad we stopped for dinner. The food quality and taste is amazing!!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Family run business and you can sure tell! Kids loved the tomato soup and their pasta! Kids sizes are super generous. I loved the vegan roasted eggplant. Delicious!! ????????
Friendly staff. Fantastic food. Covid precautions were substantial. They were able to handle our group of 8 with very little notice. We had the pizza, lasagna, fettuccine carbonera and all were fantastic.
Awesome food and great service! Best meal I have ever had!
Absolutely amazing, havent had a bad experience yet. Service dining in before covid (idk if they still do dine in right now) was great, food was amazing and so delicious. Highly recommend and will be getting it many times more
Went to this restaurant to dine with my family as it was my wife's birthday and she chose this establishment for her special day, upon arrival we were told we couldn't enter without wearing a mask to the table even though we were with our elderly parents and my wife was pregnant. We were speaking to the owner "Chuck" he was extremely disrespectful to my wife's mother and father who are legitimately medically exempt then began telling us we can sit on the patio but not use the washrooms (I'm guessing that's not a human rights issue?). Chuck claims his restaurant is following the health guidelines yet wasn't allowing medically exempt customers? Seems this individual likes to "power trip" over other helpless individuals. I can assure you there's less hostile ownership at other locally owned restaurants. Also I'll probably be labeled an "anti-masker" even though I'm all for human rights and personal freedoms. P.S Imagine responding with "a phone was put in my face", perfect example of a sad excuse for a business owner and it was hilarious that you went radio silent the moment we wanted you to repeat yourself on camera. Once again a phone wasn't "put in your face" but there was a camera present that's all. On a side note you should educate yourself and staff on the charter of Canadian Human Rights, which probably won't happen because Chuck has an excuse for everything. Just an FYI too Chuck you shouldn't judge people because my wife is indeed pregnant, her father does have diabetes, and based on religious laws you don't have the right to ask for my religion. Like I said a little education goes a long way.
The fish was tasty but overpriced and the antipasti board was very disappointing.
Great service, delicious food. We stopped in for lunch and service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the personal pizza with salad and brought home enough for dinner!
Food was amazing! Service impeccable. Felt safe. Will go back for sure.
I’d personally say Di Gustos is definitely a top 5 restaurant overall in this city. We ordered in last night and to no surprise our food was delicious, fresh, and well portioned! The service during these trying times couldn’t have been better. It’s a shame these anti-maskers can’t simply follow the rules set out by the government in order to safely maintain an operating establishment. Wether they agree with it or not, they are certainly missing out on good food!
They make one of the best pizzas and great drinks
We love this place cause everything is fresh and very delicious. Staff is awesome
Amazing experience ! Warm, friendly staff and the food was exceptional
The wait was so long for the food. It was freezing sitting there waiting for our meal
Great service, great food!
As someone who runs a local business, the reviews I’ve seen posted here I find absolutely disturbing and can’t believe Google gives very little options in the way of advocating for the business. As a South End resident, we’ve been to DiGusto’s numerous times and used their takeout service as well. Nothing but good things to say about the service every time. To those reading the 1 star reviews, just ignore them and move along to real reviews. They owners have my vote and my business to help them get through what has been one of the most challenging times for any restaurant owner in recent history. I don’t care what your views are on policies, or opinions on masks. Maybe just show a little respect for the workers who have to serve you !!! Keep up the great work Digusto and all the best !!!
Amazing pizza and appetizers! Great service as well!
