I went to check out this place when visiting friends in Stratford. I had a hankering for a quesadilla. First thing I noticed when I walked in were the smiling staff and the clean floors. I was served by Dalton who was great at recommending some items. The food looked fresh the work stations clean and atmosphere positive. I'll definitely be back when in this part of town.

As a regular at barBURRITO location, felt pretty let down tonight. Out of lettuce first to start off. Wasn't offered anything as a substitute which was rather surprising, had to request extra tomatoes. Bit of a turn off in terms of courdeous service. The beans were swimming in soupy bean water. None of it honestly seemed fresh and had a leftover feel to it. Garbage bin could've been emptied out, used containers all just stacked up on the counter. Pretty disappointing, will most likely be the last visit here.

The Burritos here are HUGE! They are also really tasty and well priced. Even though it's always busy during lunch, I find the service to always be pretty fast. Although the one cashier has this look like he's not too happy being there.

Size its small yes but its too small for the price Ingredients seems to be fresh but not all like the meat its old and dry thats not fine for the price Beans its old Very clean and organized Environment is welcoming but unfortunately no people when i walked in so maybe try lowering your prices or improve your quality and quantity but lowering the price money might help better in this situation Hopefully i will be back again to try more and adjust my feedback Thanx

While the flavour of the food was as good as can be expected, it was assembled very sloppy making it a mess to eat. Both staff members working today wore plastic gloves, but did not change them between tasks. They would hand money, touch Handels and the like keeping the same gloves on as if the manager has told them to skirt health code laws to save money. I'd rather them use bare hands if they are going to do that at least with bare hands there are microbes that naturally kill many bad bactierja hence why no one wears gloves in real kitchens. One of the staff members smelled badly of BO. It was a very offensive smell. 4th time trying it out. Always a 1 star, except my first visit in January was a 5 star. I dont think I'll be back to this location until I can confirm there is a change in management that actually cares about Canadian and provincial health codes, or if the manager does, begins to enforce those practices with their staff.

Burritos and quesadillas are tasty. Toppings are fresh and they pack the burritos full. Highly recommend. The one thing I don't really like about my visits is that I come out of the place with my clothes smelling like I was working in the kitchen. Not great if you have to go back to the office and be reminded rest of day what you had for lunch :-) Perhaps improved ventilation for the burrito grills might help?

Taste was good, however extremely disappointed with the serving size of the tacos. One small taco is almost $7! Other Mexican restaurant offers much larger portion sizes. For the price it was costly and didn't even satisfy our family. Will not be returning.

Been coming to this location a couple of times, really enjoyed the atmosphere when I walk in, get welcomed with a warm smile, the first couple of times I didn't know what to order, the girls behind the counter waited patiently and didn't rush me to order. They where really helpful when it came to toppings and told me that some of the toppings where extra, which was fine, I do appreciate that they tell me upfront instead of finding out later. It's the small things like that I will keep coming back to this location and letting my friends know.

Either way, worth a try in the area (although not the best burrito you can find if you have the ahility to travel around). Friendly server as well

Good selection of different types of burritos, the prices are what you would expect $6-12. The choice of toppings are also respectable, they don't have as many as some other burrito places though. They are licenced though so if you want alcohol with your meal you can do that.

This place was great when it first opened up but after coming back on a few occasions after it’s definitely gone down and I will not be back. Manager is rarely there helping anymore but not like she was any better though, have had a rude encounter with her as well, no apologies when she messed up my order just a long wait for me to have them fix it only for me to have to end up getting up and remind them I was still waiting for my food while they went on to help the rest of the line and told me to sit down. On another occasion I stood there for 15 minutes watching our burritos get cold and a massive line form behind us while the 2 younger guys working took their time making food orders they screwed up ahead of us and all while another girl stood behind the counter wiping down unnecessary things not even bothering to help out. I’m not entirely sure how the food industry works but I do know that customers come first and windexing glass would probably come second. It’s really not too difficult to work quickly and precisely as well, especially if there’s a long line of customers waiting. Workers switch roles every few minutes and make it that much more unorganized. If you’re not waiting to pay then your waiting for your order to be taken or your order to be fixed because they screwed it up. If you feel like waiting for 15-20 minutes for what’s suppose to be fast food, you would probably be better off going to an actual restaurant.

Absolute joke. These guys used to be good. Lately they have been slacking big time. Twice in the last three weeks I've been here I have two burritos to order. They take my first order and think I'm done and just ignore me and walk to the next customer in line. Don't ask me if there is anything else to order. I paid for my food tonight and a guy walks in with a burrito that was made wrong and the owner hands me my one burrito after I paid and walks away leaving my other one just sitting there. There used to be good staff here but the new staff just doesn't care. Very disappointed. Won't be coming back

The owner was at the cash register yesterday when I came in and ordered Their $5 burrito of the week. He overcharged me for my burrito and also charge me for a drink which I did not receive. Not realizing this I came back for lunch again today to get the same burrito. The cashier this time charged me less but also told me that I must buy a drink in order to get the $5 burrito. When I told her what it happened yesterday she brushed it aside and said "do you want the burrito or not". I turned to the owner who was sitting at a tabke and asked him to correct this issue and all I got back was "It clearly says on the poster a drink must be purchased and that he didn't over charge me yesterday! I won't be back at all! What a horrible experience.

Service is slow when there's no one around, they repeatedly cancel SkiptheDishes orders, and when ordering for pickup, the order isn't even ready at the specified time. Usually resulting in it needing to be made once you get there.

Terrible online service, arrived to pick up my order 45min after it was placed they (and when it was supposed to be ready) and they only started making it when I arrived. Took 25min more as 20 other customers were served. Then, the Bean Cheese and Guac burritos we ordered didn't come with beans or guac because we didn't specifically ask for more as toppings. Worst burrito I have had in London. To be fair, I had the jerk chicken - which might have been a mistake off the hop. It was so strong and almost bitter. Everything that was deemed "not spicy" was super spicy. Nothing fresh or creamy as they were out of guac. The Large is HUGE... I only ate 3/4... stick to regular. Just bad.

Best secret burrito joint in town, hands down. Burrito Boys and Chipotle simply do not compare as I find their take on a burrito too dry for me. BarBurrito burritos are dynamite. The flavour, juicyness and freshness will make you want to eat there everyday. Highly recommend it.

Had a quick stop here on my way to Detroit and it was definitely worth it! The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the chicken bowl and burrito for my mom and I, and I must say the meat was fresh and food was overall delicious! Also love the drink choices (the lime jarrito is a must). Happy to come across this restaurant, just 20 minutes away from my place. Will be visiting regularly!

We've had some pretty good burritos and burrito bowls from this place and the staff is generally nice. They have some good options for vegans like us but the issue is there is big inconsistency in the amount you get. There is pretty much nothing cheaper for them to make then the vegan and we pay the same so it's frustrating when we get such tiny amounts (our bowls are literally less than half full and this is after my husband repeatedly had to ask for more). Please train your staff better on this or we will be forced to take our business elsewhere.

We used to love going here. The food was really good and the portion sizes were good too. But, then we became aware that they would no longer be serving chorizo on their food items. Why? Well, apparently chorizo is made from pork and that's not "Halal" or permissible to middle easterners or most East Asians. So, after welcoming them to CANADA we are now going to deny Canadians particular food items to bend to immigrants wishes?!?!? Seriously??? Nobody is forcing them to eat it! If they can't eat it - DON'T!!! But, don't deny the rest of us the item!!! And, don't tell me they are unable to "handle" it. Most food service people must wear gloves and have utensils to spoon the items with. Well, after I learned about this, me and several friends have decided to take our business elsewhere. This is just getting ridiculous!!!!

Good quality food especially burritos and bowls. They make it really good. The only thing it was lacking it was that food was not appropriately warm or hot. It was not that I ate hour after I got it. As soon as I took it to the car I ate it and was still cold. That's the only thing other than that this guys are good. Do visit them. Recommended.????

To be honest, i never liked burritos especially since Income from California and have ample lots of it, though wanted to give it a try for a craving i had. Saw the street sign and went for it. Loved the Burrito especially the good sauces they have. Burrito sauce is the best. Make sure to give it a try. Great service, clean place and service is phenomenal. They take good care of their customers and keep it lively. Highly recommended.

Ordered through Uber eats. Two bowls and one order of tacos. They put the guacamole on the wrong bowl. And they made the tacos with no cheese. Total order screw up. So we call. They admitted it’s their error but asked us to come pick it up! We refused of course and they finally said the manager would drop it off in 10 min. We waited 40. Obviously not a great experience. No apology and no refund offered. Either they screw up too often to offer refunds for horrible experiences or they just don’t care that they screwed up a customers meal/evening.

We usually go to the other pseudo-Mexican place in town, but we decided to try this one. The food was quiet good (chicken tacos and fish tacos). I noticed tight away that the amount of chicken and toppings was larger than the other place. The servers were friendly. There were two odd things: 1) no fountain drinks (bottles and cans only) and 2) although we were the only people in the place at the time we ordered (during poor weather), there was only one table that was cleaned off. I'd recommend this place, especially for take out.

Decided to give this location a try for lunch. Overall I'd say it's quite good. Generous portion sizes for everything and the rice and beans were warm even after taking the bowl home. My only minor complaint is the chicken was a little dry, but I would eat here again.

Bar Burrito is the absolute best burrito place I have ever been to. They have large variety of items on their menu so there's something for everyone! Me and two of my friends went there the other night and ordered $80 worth of food which was all delicious. Even though we in there about 15 minutes before close, staff was still super friendly. They answered all our questions with respect and served us with a smile on their face. And even though our order was large, they got it all correct!! I 100% recommend this place over the Quesada across town whom I had a bad experience with.

They got really good burritos. They should have some quality control on preparations. Quantity of dressings differs based on the person who preps it (i go with the same options everytime). Sometimes regular size burritos looks like a small size and viceversa. Wish they have some consistency with dressings quantity.

Chose to come here for dinner as I heard good things about their food. Arrived around 7:45pm, and decided on a large burrito. The employees were starting their close, which being in the food industry myself, is totally understandable if it's slow. As they were putting rice on my burrito, I noticed a COIN in the rice. I told the employee that was scooping the rice and he denied my comment. I insisted that I saw it and as he dug in the rice, he did find it. The two employees both agreed it was gross, as did I, and took it out and proceeded to scoop this dirty rice onto my burrito. I told them that's disgusting and suggested that they make new rice. The employees both acted as if my request was ridiculous and seemed annoyed at my request. Knowing they still had over an hour before closing and there were other customers waiting behind me who were aware of this, making new rice should not have been a huge problem. I then told the employees not to bother and left the restaurant. I was very displeased at the service I received, and am very disappointed at the lack of concern over the food quality.

Came in at 5:20pm on a Thursday. Wanted a chicken burrito bowl. They’re out of rice. So I ask if they can discount it because the staple base food of the burrito bowl isn’t available. No they can’t. They say they can add extra beans. Ok. Sure add extra beans and I’ll pay full price. Go down the line, add all the toppings, they’re out of guacamole as well. I’m sorry but I’m not paying $9 for a bowl of beans, chicken and salsa. Disappointing that at peak dinner hour they are out of some of the staples that make up a burrito when all you make is burritos. Probably won’t be returning.

There's too many food options around to bother with this place. They can't seem to get orders right, and on top of that, the service is terrible. I placed an order online and for some reason it stated that it takes 30 mins to make it. Ok, fine. I got to the store 25 mins later and I was told they don't have such an order. I showed the order confirmation, and only then did it occur to them to check their computer and indeed the order WAS there. The most annoying part of it, was they couldn't have cared less about it, completely unapologetic, and nonchalant about how it'll just take 15 minutes to make it. After all that, I got our food home to find out that 2 of 4 burritos had missing toppings we ordered.

I have been coming to this establishment since they opened and come nearly every week. I have always been satisfied with my experience. The food tastes good and is a good price for the amount you get and the establishment is very clean. This location has the burrito of the week and has the rewards card that gives you one free burrito after 10 purchased. The owner is approachable and genuinely cares about your experience in his establishment.

Ive been coming here since this location opened.. The staff and management are fantastic..The manager always makes a point of saying hi and askes how things are.. They are very informative and go above and beyond to make sure you don't leave disappointed.. Im always greeted with a smile and a hello... ive seen exceptional customer service at this location and i would highly recommend this place to everyone.. theres a great mixture of staff.. its nice to see ppl actually enjoying their jobs!! when this place first opened it was amazing. the owners were very friendly and the food was terrific. i have been twice since and each time have been more disappointed in the food the service and the cleanliness. the most recent visit was friday feb 9 at 6 pm ..... they were out of steak, and only had nrown neans as an option. they were almost out of chicken as well as corn and lettuce. the lettuce they did have was not shredded nut instead i received the heart. there was food everywhere on the prep stations and only one clean table. the 2 gentlemen that were working were so slow it was crazy and neither one washed their hands nut rather juat kept putting gloves on and off over dirty hands. i was so unimpressed and will not be back to this location.

The quality of the good was very mediocre and the price is actually outrageous. I wanted a cheese quesadilla for my 1 year old son, knowing he *might* take 3 bites, and they wanted to charge me $9 for it! When I refused to pay that, the lady wouldn’t accept no. She said I had to purchase it as it was already made and nobody else would eat it. Not recommending it to anyone and will not be back. 2 stars because it’s not as bad as a 1 star.

I've had lunch here twice in the past month and am planning on going back again today. Each time my wrap has been perfect (my coworker had a burrito bowl and was equally impressed)! First was delivered by Skip, the second was a pickup. The store is clean and the people were kind and attentive. All around a good experience. If you want a burrito, give these guys a try.

I've been coming here since they opened and have always had a great experience! The owner really cares about creating a positive experience for every customer and it shows. Some other reviewers mentioned price as a negative but in my opinion it's quite reasonable for the quality and freshness, not to mention *size* of the product. I always order the regular and I'm usually stuffed when I leave. I saw my buddy order a large burrito one time; he couldn't even finish it, and he's a world-class eater! Also, try the spicy sauces. Nice kick if you like spice!

awful experience here!!! my family and i tried to walk in the door at 10:54 when they open at 11. there was already a customer in there so i assumed it was ok to go in. the door was unlocked and my family and i opened it and started to walk in. the manager was standing outside smoking, when she saw us open the door she started SCREAMING that she doesn’t open till 11 and that none of the food was ready... the customer inside was forced to leave as well.

First impression at 1130am when I visited...that they do not clean. The place was filthy. No excuse since only been open for 30minutes. Two hard tacos for almost $8 with tax....I could have made better at home and had 8 tacos. Ground beef so wet it broke right through the bottom. Sad. Was excited to have a place to go for tacos.

This specific location seems to be very poorly run. I've been to other locations and had no issues. The service is extremely slow. I was in on a Saturday evening and watched at least three different groups of customers walk out due to slow service. I also watched as an employee made a burrito, gave change, made a phone call on his personal phone and then proceeded to make the next burrito WITHOUT changing his gloves or hand washing. If you have concerns with either your time or food safety I would suggest going elsewhere. They don't seem to respect either here.

I ate here weekly for well over a year. Ordered my usual chicken burrito to go. Got halfway through the burrito before comping on a rock. There was a rock in my burrito. I work the afternoon/evening shift right next door to this barBurrito and I eat here every week despite the employees seeming genuinely uninterested in being there and never having ketchup for my tasty side french fries because "we don't do ketchup". That is...until today. They are under new management, Bob and his staff couldn't be friendlier and seem thrilled to be there. I discovered this location two days ago and ordered the bang bang shrimp bowl. Twice. I’d like to point out first and foremost that: their portion sizes are way too small. In fact they are ‘stingy’ - been to so many Mexican food joints and they put generous amounts of rice and beans at the bottom, not these guys though. They charge an extra dollar for guacamole and literally put in half a tablespoon of it in the bowl only. The rice or beans weren’t hot, they were at room temperature. I fell sick the next day, and so did my sister. I won’t go back to this location or this chain anymore.

I have always loved bar burritos, but this time they left my burrito way too long in the cooker and it totally fell apart when I opened the wrapping. It is currently sitting on a plate totally unraveled! I’m extremely disappointed… bar burrito setting the bar way too low :/

We were here on a lazy Sunday for a family lunch. We ordered lot of food - chicken quesadilla, veg bowl, chicken burrito and fries. Service was good, workers were very friendly, food quantity was very generous and food was fresh & delicious! We really enjoyed it! We will definitely be back! Keep up the good work guys!
