We ordered the full rack of ribs and an order of chicken wings, by far the best we have ever had. The ribs were so tender and tasty, the chicken wings were absolutely delicious right out of the smoker, and the fries were very crunchy and tasty! The coleslaw was lacking in flavour, missing that vinegar bite. I would Highly recommend this place.

Excellent hole in the wall find. Still a new place getting established but expect lots of great reviews to come for this place. Don't let the looks fool you, the quality is spent on the food and it shows. I found this place by coincidence and have stopped twice while passing by now. The service is friendly and small town classic. Owner Adam was happy to stop at our table and chat about his methodology and business. Service and quality are going to make this place a long term success for sure. If you love BBQ, give this place a shot.

My friends and I stopped here on our trip from NS to PEI as it was highly recommended by our friend who had worked in Amherst. We were blown away. Prices are great and portions are generous. I ordered the Ultimate Poutine with beef brisket and it was one of the best poutines I have ever eaten! The beef brisket is made fresh every day and you can tell. It was phenomenal. My friend got the brisket sandwich and was very impressed and my other friend had the fried chicken sandwich which she said was juicy, crispy and the perfect amount of breading. The guy who served us was funny and friendly and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend this place.

Fairly priced, ok flavour (no heat or "spice"), ribs are smoked but very tough, mac and cheese is bland, mashed potatoes are ok. Small town hyoe.

The food here is superb. The steak cut brisket is simply the best BBQ dish I have eaten anywhere. The wings, ribs, and burgers are all 5/5. And, of course, the sauces are all excellent. Even the sides like their mac & cheese and chili, which a lot of BBQ joints simply don't put much effort into, are top shelf. They could easily stand as meals on their own, both in terms of portion size and sophistication. It doesn't matter if you're a BBQ connoisseur, or a first timer, you MUST come to Amherst N.S. and eat here.

What a secret gold mine this place is. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing and heavily portioned so you're almost guaranteed to have leftovers that you'll likely eat for your next meal. Not a complaint in sight from anybody in this place!

Oh my glob! The brisket with root beer BBQ sauce is the best thing that's ever been in my mouth. Recommend getting the beans as well. I believe their is pieces of pulled pork and brisket in it as well.

Had the 1/4 chicken and ribs with Sweet and Spicy sauce with the fries and beans as sides. Chicken was incredibly tender, ribs were fall off the bone, sauce was delicious, fries were absolutely fantastic - crunchy and fresh. The beans & pork was delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back sometime soon. Absolutely recommended. Staff was polite and food was fast and in huge portions.

Wife and I loved this place, we stopped by for a quick bite and were blown away how good the food was. We had the beef brisket sandwiches which were outstanding. The brisket was perfectly smoked and the rootbeer bbq sauce I had was great. We each got different sides and they were all very good as well. We will be coming here again when we are in the area. Wish I could give a higher than 5 star review the place deserves it!

Great food! Great service. Meat is Amazing and full smoky southern BBQ flavor. Jalapeño cornbread and mac n cheese are definetly recommended sides! Only downside was no outdoor space to eat, but a small price to pay for quality and deliciousness!

You gotta STOP here! We were in Amherst buying a car and went here for a quick bite.! The Google reviews were great so we decided to check it out! The prices were on point. The service was fast and friendly. The portions were perfect size. Not too much and not too little.... But best of all the food was DELICIOUS! We could tell the meal was freshly prepared at the restaurant and not from containers stored in a cold room. We spoke with the owner for a bit before we were leaving to let him know we were pleasantly surprised! He told us how he arrives at 5am everyday to start the preparations for the day. He has a "real" commercial smoker and the firewood is stored right in the corner of the restaurant. The brisket is smoked for 2 days and it melts in your mouth. Homemade cornbread and homemade baked beans were delicious! They only opened up in February 2019 but they definitely have the "kinks" worked out! We will make it a new "stopping place to eat" while on a road trip!

The sides offered are well portioned and a nice break from traditional fries . This is an incredible bbq restaurant. I have been to many different bbq restaurants throughout the U.S. and several in Canada as well, and these guy do an incredible job. Their prices are really good especially considering that they give you WAY more food then most other places and their food is fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone anytime.

We stop by at this restaurant as we are looking for some restaurant in the area. And it was the best decision ever! Service is fast, friendly and fantastic. We're group of 9 people, we ordered 2 platter and there's still left over after. Pulled pork is my personal favorite! Keep it up!

I know what you're thinking. BBQ in a strip mall in Amherst? How good could it be? I'm telling you... THIS IS THE BEST BBQ IN THE PROVINCE and it is not even close. I ate there passing through and once I finished my meal I immediately ordered another to eat the next day. The bbq AND the sides are made with great care and not a single morsel of food was less than absolute perfection. From now on every single time I drive past Amherst on the highway I will be stopping here to pick up some food. I would give 6 stars if I could.
