I think we just found our new fav spot to dine in the Annapolis Valley! After a day of farm markets, apple picking and visiting a local winery, we stopped here for lunch (we had made a reservation ahead of time) as we had heard such great reviews. We were so impressed with everything - from the drinks to the mains to the amazing desserts. The chicken sandwich was so flavourful - spicy chicken and sweet pickles together made for an delicious lunch. Next time we are coming for supper as the supper menu also sounds incredible!

Beautiful minimalist ambiance. Everything tasted amazing, but the standout for me was the cured salmon + potato waffle. It was incredible.

First off, the service was fantastic! Friendly and knowledgeable, our server was a gem. The food was amazing, I had the tacos which had an amazing spice rub and the scallops and boudain noir. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the boudain had a really nice soft texture and had a clove, nutmeg, Cinnamon type flavour profile which went really well with the beans and scallops. For dessert the chocolate marquis was the perfect finish. Not too sweet, and the brown butter anglaise was perfectly balanced with the slightly bitter dark chocolate. The Mrs. and I loved it and will be back!

But if you also want a glimpse into some of the more interesting foodie trends out there - Juniper is Nova Scotia's accessible and exclusive peek! The service is always top notch: warm, friendly, and knowledgable. Atmosphere is lovely, too. Intimate without it feeling like it's "too much". :)

In the Google system, most 5 star ratings don’t really mean 5/5. Juniper really is a 5 star restaurant. The dishes are perfectly curated. From the delicious focaccia with flavoured butter to the golden textured Patatas Bravas to the expertly dressed tuna tartare with the most delicious turnip we’ve ever tasted. Everything was spot on. What could be so special about a fried chicken sandwich? The brioche bun had spring to it. The chicken as high quality as you can find. We didn’t leave enough room for other mains but for dessert the cream puffs impressed us with their texture. The crème brûlée (not pictured) was well textbook with a delicious bit of white chocolate whipped cream and rhubarb jam. The ambience itself was very nice and the style of the venue was obvious. Our host was responsive. Tasteful folk music played to set the mood of the Valley. It’s funny. Sometimes you go to a restaurant with very high expectations and your left disappointed. We knew nothing of Juniper and the only thing that we could accuse it of is being too perfect.

Great night out at Juniper. We had oysters and the tuna to start. My husband had the chicken and I had the pork belly for entrees. Both we're amazing and our server was great. Would recommend ????

Best restaurant in Wolfville! recently I shared a bowl of mushroom soup with a friend at lunch.. it was over the top delicious and actually demanded a good glass of red wine to accompany it! I send all my guests at Locust & Starr Inn to Juniper and I am so happy to have such delicious food made with love so close to home. Thank yoou!

Really cute restaurant, service and food were great. The food is a tad on the pricier side. Their ravioli with brown butter was dreamy …. as good as popular pasta restaurants in toronto. The fried chicken sandwich was perfect!! We also had the pork croquettes and shrimp cocktail… both were good but a little on the salty side for me. The pork Croquettes reminded me of katsu.
