Great place for fresh whole clams and ice cream! I have been here many times over the years and to be honest i prefer this place for food over Dianes which is just up the road and a little more well known then Granny's. Both places are great this place has a bit more seating and seems to be a little faster. Over all a great place to stop if you like fresh clams and chips. Ive also heard that they have deep fried ice cream as well. Something ill have to try next time im up that way.

We stopped here to get some ice cream. We actually drove past and turned round having seen the sign for deep-fried ice cream. Plenty of car parking. It was very hot when we visited and with no shade when queueing it was uncomfortable. There was a good range of flavours but we went with the deep-fried icecream. Maybe we need more practice, but the deep-fried flavour overwhelmed that of the ice cream and persisted for a long time afterwards! Others seem to enjoy it but for us it didn't work. However this is a good place to stop along the road here.

Rode out today because we had heard they had great clams. I would definitely disagree. The clams were sub par for sure and had no flavor except for deep fryer grease. I should have known better from a place that offers deep fried icecream. Definitely not a do over.

I stopped in to Granny's after a long day of hiking and had a very generous scoop of ice cream. Their selection is fantastic, they have Scotsburn, Farmer's, and Chapman's! The sign outside advertised deep fried ice cream, and I was tempted. I'll have to get it next time! Highly recommend.

Flies were really bad outside at the tables (not their fault obviously). And a lengthy wait, but the food was worth it. The coleslaw was warm which made me a bit weary about eating it. Other than that, staff was lovely. Will go back for sure!

Great scallop burger(lots of scallops), chicken strips for kids above average, clams were the standout, super fresh. The fries were a big hit with everyone as well.

Great place to stop and eat or grab a snack on the way by. Neat little spot, good food and super nice staff. Not a all that many places to go down around this area but this is definitely one of the places I always go to. Stopped in several times last year and will be back again this year. Can’t wait for summer to roll around so I can take a trip down this way for a bite to eat

Stopped in there several times when wife and I were in Nova Scotia last summer. Food is out of this world!! Absolutely the best sea food that we have had anywhere.
