Horrible...daughter went to pick up in pouring rain, exempt from mask, no inside dining and she is made to wait outside and pay outside I told her she should have said fu and left...food sub par, mashed potatoes have 'strings' in them, old grey looking...its no wonder this place has changed names three times, maybe next time change owners because you know nothing about good food and customer service....NEVER eat here!!!!!!!!

They make a good steak and the sweet potato fries are good. Also tried the roast beef on another occasion, was good. Is kind of expensive though.I just go for a treat now and then. I'm not really a fan of their "long" hamburgers but guess that's their main product. I go at off times so service is pretty good.

Food came out Cold. One plate was garbage and the second plate barely had any eggs on it ( 3 eggs, NO Way ) wrong side order. Waitress was poor, didn't listen to my order, even said I didn't tell her what breakfast I wanted. I clearly ordered the 3 eggs with toast, guess she doesn't know the menu? When we walked in and noticed it wasn't busy we were happy, then we found out why! 9am on a Saturday and it's not busy... that should tell you everything you need to know about this restaurant. ZERO Rating is more appropriate. Bad food, poor staff.

Experience was terrible! After we ordered our food, the waitress brought someone elses order to our table, without thinking. We said the food wasn't ours and she turned to take it away, but spilt my water all over me. She gave the food to the right people, but left half of it on our table; she didn't even realize until I brought the food to the right table for her. She then thought it would be a brilliant idea to sweep up the water with a broom; it did absolutely nothing. Then she got a mop, that was already wet, and proceeded to smear the mucky water everywhere; it wasn't cleaned up properly and muddy footprints were all over the floor. She put a "wet floor" sign on the ground and I swear that did a better job of cleaning it up than her (sarcasm). She gave me three paper towels to clean myself, but it didn't really help; my right leg was completely soaked. I also had to wipe the counter and the seat for her because she didn't do it properly; it was still wet. My father asked for a plate to put his tea bag on, but that didn't come until after he finished the tea; the plate was irrelevant. When the correct food came to our table, we didn't get any cutlery. We sat there waiting for 10 minutes without forks or knives. The portions were small; two eggs looked like one, bacon was tiny. We finished out meals and paid, and in that entire time I also never got a replacement water for what she dumped on my lap.

Onion rings are great too. Chef Tahid should be very proud of my steak. Can't add a photo because I ate it too fast

Place was clean & quiet, decent atmosphere, nice retro music. Menu was big & mouthwatering! We chose combos of Wimpy's famous 10oz burger-1 plain & 1 messy-grilled onions & mushrooms, lots of melted cheddar, caesar dressing drizzle & 2 cold Coke's! Not cheap not pricey but very delicious! Onion rings are thick with real onions not breading. Fries thick & properly cooked! Food came out hot & arrived quickly. Waitress was nice but quiet & didn't rush us to decide. Definitely want to go back & try the hot dog & breakfast selections!!

I don't often give bad reviews, but I went for breakfast here and it was probably the worst food I've ever had at Wimpy's. Not only did our food take over 25 minutes but everything was overcooked. You could tell that our server knew the food was bad. She did not check in until we were ready for our bill. Otherwise we would have sent it back. The poached eggs were hard, my over eqsy eggs were overcooked, and the home fries were disgusting. I have been to 4 other wimpys restaurants in the past, this was by far the worst quality.

Went there with our family of 5 because Swiss Chalet was packed. And actually so glad that we did. Service was fast. Food was delicious and the staff was courteous and very friendly!!! Will definitely make it a first choice in the future.

Very disappointing.... came in for breakfast at 10am on a Wednesday so not very busy. Our waitress was grouchy and the place was filthy considering it just opened. A man sitting next to us said his food was cold and left. Our breakfast special came and it wasn't even lukewarm, it wad cold too! My eggs, bacon and homefries definitely did not meet the temperature safety standards of a restaurant. This was my first visit and will definitely be my last.

They would not let us in, we had our proof of vaccines and they said our family from Scotland could not come in because, I quote "I don't know them". Of course you don't, you don't know me either, how do you think they flew and got into our country if they weren't vaccinated. We won't be recommending anyone go to this establishment

I was celebrating my birthday with my wife and kids (aged 2 and 6) and as we were about to leave the waitress came over and told us we needed to leave as we were disturbing the other customers (the 2yr old was starting to get restless after sitting for an hour and a half). This restaurant is not child friendly. Thanks for ruining my birthday.

The owner of this outlet needs to understand, they don't offer food and beverages, customers come here for a great experience. Today morning, when we came here for breakfast, there was just one server. Who was trying to do her best, but the overall service levels was far below expectation. We were old customers of Harmony restaurant, Simcoe. After today's experience. We will never ever going to come back again. I hope the owners learn there lessons.

Went there for fish and chips for my husband, burger and fries for me. Husband felt sick afterwards, fish was TOTAL GREASE and gross. Food served cold. Only going for breakfast from now on and only if they have enough servers.

Only given 2 stars as I've been to other Wimpy's. Not sure why there is a difference between this Wimpy's and others. The food was ok. Not good, not bad. We have been there twice. It looks like we won't be back. For the money they charge you would think it would be better quality.

Although the food was good the cleanliness left something to be desired. Men's washroom smelt like sewer gas and the woman's washroom had pieces of paper towel all over the floor and lots of flies. Mophead should be attaced to the mop and it should be clean.

The food was alright for breakfast food. I had basic eggs and bacon with a side of pancakes, when I cut into the pancakes it shook the entire table because of how tough they were. When we got there the tables were all full except some dirty ones that still needed to be cleaned off. Their seat yourself system doesn't work very well for them as you'll end up sitting at a dirty table until it's cleaned. The floors were even more disgusting, we had old food under ours which didn't look like it was there earlier in the day (we went at 11am and they opened at 7am), from what I can assume is that they don't clean their floors after each closing. I wouldn't recommend going here as there are plenty of better breakfast places around or just outside of Simcoe. You'll find yourself quite disappointed if you're used to eating a decent meal. They only just opened so I'm hoping these are small kinks they are working out, I'll be passing on any future opportunities eating at this place.

Old place, small portions, sorta pricy. Pancakes taste like the ones you make with supermarket-bought pancake mix. Coffee was good though, and they serve breakfast all day so that's nice. The kids meal was bigger than the "Breakfast Trinity" I ordered for myself.

People spend 45 minutes here because they have to wait forever for the food and when it arrives it's cold and flavorless. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese and it came with the cheese looking like it wasn't even attempted to be melted. Asked to get it reheated to melt the cheese and they put it in the microwave instead of back on the flat top. Horrible experience

Food is very bland. I have been three times. First had the burger and fries, then tried fish and chips. The third time I had breakfast. I don't recommend coming for anything other than breakfast...its pretty hard to make a bad breakfast. The dinner meals were bland. Burger was lackluster. Fish was like frozen refried bland fillets. Fries were frozen refried and dry. Breakfast was decent.

Previously a favourite of ours but it has slipped and tonight was bad. Had Fish & Chips, the fish was tough (?!?!?), some I couldn't even chew, the garlic "bread" was very stale and hard and no tartar sauce. Enough.

Two of us always went on a wed morning was always ok food but 2 weeks ago very very unsatisfied breakfast was cold the bacon and potatoes must of been sitting on grill for along time we asked for onions with the potatoes came RAW! And was charged $1.40 each waitress would not take off bill she never tried to accomadate us in any way complete waste of my time and hard earned money ..wont be back again. very unhappy with food and service!!

The patio was ok, but the server needs to write things down. I ordered scrambled eggs with crispy bacon and brown toast, but got sunny side up eggs, regular bacon with white toast. My friends toast was black on one side as well. Usually we find great food on motorcycle rides, so I will never stop here again

I hardly make any reviews unless I am giving 5 stars. Visited this restaurant today - Aug 24th at 10am. Unfortunately when we arrived there was only 1 server working. She was run off her feet due to the number of people that were there. She cleaned off a table for us, however didn't clean off the ketchup, sugar, salt and pepper shakers. Thankfully I saw this and got out sanitizer and did this myself. Ordered a coffee and instead of bringing me milk and cream from the back, she brought it to me from another table. Typically this wouldn't be something I would care about, but we are in Covid times and there should be more attention to sanitization. Another thing witnessed was that the server repeatedly asked the cook to ring the bell when food was ready, he continued to not ring the bell which cased food to we waiting for long periods of time. I do feel like there should be more then 1 person the morning rush. I feel really bad for the servers of this establishment.

Food sat to long at window and was cold when delivered. I asked for medium poached eggs and got cold hard eggs. Sliced tomatoes were green and hard and tea was cold. Would rather go to the one in Brantford where food I’d served hot. I was sitting where I could see the kitchen window and watched the orders put up and the waitress just ignored it and talked to the cook or other girls leaving the food to go cold. Not at all trained properly. Would not recommend.

The food was less than desirable. The first thing we noticed was the sign advertising that they were hiring wait staff and kitchen staff. This should have been a warning. We waited at the front door as the sign indicated to wait to be seated. Less than half the restaurant was occupied. We moved in to make sure they saw us as we waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged. We were seated in a semi cleaned booth. Waitress indicated that she was the only staff person. We did see two others and one was serving. We ordered drinks and she was not happy that one of us ordered a milkshake. She said that with her being the only one it would be 10 minutes for that. Milkshake was very sweet. Finally had our order taken. Food arrived not as ordered. Items added some forgotten. Food was Luke warm with some being cold. Not the best Wimpy's we were at but at least not the worst. Will not be back to try again. Go at your own peril.

Two piece fish and chips meal ordered and fish was so greasy could not eat. Not given any reduction on the bill and told by server that she would let the cook know. Server went back to pick up more meals for other customers and didn't say anything about the food problem to the cook. Not impressed.

We had the wing and fries and it was perfect. They have lots of items on the menu. Each day a different lunch/dinner special. Diner was clean and they check Covid conditions of the guests. We enjoyed our meal and we will come back again.

Sadly disappointed ????. I have always loved Wimpy's and I am blaming covid-19. It was very meh for too much money. I bought a nice meal to prepare for 5 at the grocery store for $20 LESS than breakfast for 3 at Whimpy's! We had 2 orders of waffles and 1 buttermilk pancakes, all with strawberries and bananas. Well they had no bananas, and the strawberries were strawberry mush. My son's waffles seemed ok but mine fell apart into mushy crumbles, hard to eat. None of us finished and it came to $65 with tip. I do not recommend.
