Listen up. They feed the thousands of hungry, hard working Mexican seasonal farmers, who come to Norfolk County to grow and harvest much of our fresh foods in Ontario. I think you would be very hard pressed to find a more authentic spot, in Canada. You step inside, you feel like you have been teleported to a spot anywhere in Mexico. Everything about this place is legit. Everything is on point. There is a storefront on next street that sells Mexican products. The food is so good here. Coca Cola bottles are from Mexico. The good stuff. Jarritos sodas. Canelo fights on repeat on big screen. A great spot for the workers to eat and drink. The girl at the booth is a bit shy and odd (we all are), but I do find she is really nice, if you are pleasant and respectful. Pick any 3 soft tacos for $15. $10 burritos. Really cannot go wrong here. Personally I like the carnitas (steak) and barbacoa. So blessed to have this incredible food and vibe in our community. The hard workers of this community deserve it. A total bonus for the locals, who love good foods. Note: I put sour cream on some of my tacos. You might have to ask for some if you expect it. Apparently I can never be truly Mexican, until I stop that odd (see they think I'm strange too) habit. Sour cream is for Canadians.

My order was some shrimp a la diabla, which were simply delicious, with just a touch of spice and the right temperature. They also served me with a vegetable broth, also just right, with the unmistakable flavor of home cooking. I highly recommend Lilys Tacos and from now on I want to return very soon to visit them and try more delicacies from their cozy restaurant. Out for a drive today and ended up in the city of simcoe.. Saw this really cute patio and stopped in. Patio was clean, lots of flowers, umbrellas and looked really inviting. .but what really pulled us in was the aroma of the food that was being cooked... Honestly they were the best tacos we have eaten outside of Mexico and we love Mexican street food.. the torillas tasted like they were made with freshly ground masa.. the beef and the chicken tacos were so flavourful.. We will make the drive from London again..

Really enjoyable food. We met Lily who was kind enough to come and ask how we liked the food…it was yummy. Just be aware the patio is at the back. The music was a great touch, flowers lovely…can’t wait for my next Sunday drive on a Saturday.

So happy to have found this hidden gem in downtown Simcoe today. The food was so delicious, the outdoor patio was beautiful with lots of flowers and comfy tables and chairs. Mexican music playing in the background made it feel like I was in Mexico! The owners, Lily and Henri made us feel so welcome. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I went with my cousin yesterday; we travelled from Hamilton. We both had steak gringas and oh my goodness! SOO good, the jalapeno sauce was absolutely amazing! I wish I could buy a whole bottle of it for my home. I highly recommend this place. The patio was so cute and the music made the atmosphere that much better. Authentic Mexican food that I will never forget. The chef did come to see how we were enjoying the meal - I love the extra personal touch. I hope her business thrives and that everyone stops in to try - it is SO worth it!! Very decently priced as well. THANK YOU LILY'S TACOS!

I’ve never been here before but I will definitely be back often. What a nice place! I’m so glad I came here. It’s very clean and the owner Henry and his wife Lily are very friendly and helpful. I ordered the tacos al pastor and they were fresh and delicious. Probably the best tasting tacos that I’ve had outside of Mexico. They were made with fresh corn tortillas and loaded with juicy meat and very filling. 100% authentic. I drove half an hour but would drive an hour to come here if I had to. Do yourself a favour and eat here! ????????????????????????????????♥️

We had the Camaron a la diabla, this is shrimp in a hot sauce, accompanied with rice and beans, if you love spice food this is one to have. The service is fast and the owners are great hostesses. Definitely we will be back.

Loved my first (but definitely not last) visit for burritos and a refreshing non-alcoholic Sangria on Lily's Tacos summer patio (indoor eating too). A little gem of an oasis in the downtown Simcoe area. Tasty food and now that I have checked out their FB Page will be returning for more of the veggie options! Lovely couple/owners, upbeat and friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Very clean, and fun, authentic Mexican atmosphere, including pleasant pretty flower border and Mexican background music.

First visit to this delightful, friendly and welcoming restaurant. We ate outside at the patio and were not disappointed. Very shady, breezy patio area. These tacos are delicious! I had lunch with my mom and we tried a few flavors of the tacos (love that you can get 3 different tacos in one order), and loved them all. Bonus is the nice patio out back - they've made the effort to decorate nicely with turf, flowers and nice outdoor furniture, so you get a nice atmosphere too. We will definitely be back!

The most authentic Mexican food/dining experience I have ever had in Ontario! Incredibly friendly staff too. Their website does not show any vegetarian options, but I was delighted when the staff accommodated me with a rice/bean/pico de gallo taco combination. Phenomenal, I can’t wait to come back.
