Great food! Egg rolls and fried rice had great flavour. The rice was not dried out like most places. Curry chicken needs more chicken but flavour was good. First time there and it's a 20 minute drive for us but we will be back.

There's a little toy area and a couple cute kids were playing while we ate. They were entertaining! The staff were very sweet with them, too.

Not impressed. My order is here finally, a hour after they said I would be. They messed up and made my order with mushrooms, when ordered with out, due to a allergy. They sent all food with mushrooms. They then said they would take it back, and bring me new. This took over 35mins to get here. Now half my order is cold. They sent chicken fried rice, when I ordered Cantonese fried rice. So not only did we still pay the full price of over $115.00 but we got ripped off for the difference of the rice we ordered. Tried to call but they won't answer the phone when they close at 8, they stop answering the phone at 7:30 I guess our order should of been here at 7, now it's 8 and we're finally eating a half cold meal. Not impressed we won't be back.

My bf and I dropped in while we were driving through Simcoe and we absolutely loved the food! The prices are great, the taste is great and the quantity is great. It was very busy, seems to be a favorite in the town.

A bunch of us at work are eating local, owned and operated restaurants weekly for lunch. Last week was Hoy's of Simcoe. Famous in our office for having the best General Tao's Chicken. 9 meals all different, all amazingly fresh and oh so much food! Highly recommend Hoy's for their quality of food and friendly service. KUDOS!!

Notorious for shutting their phones off and not taking orders before their close times an hour to half hour before. Not professional in my opinion if you don't want to get out of work at 8, close at 7:30 don't say your open till 8 and not take calls.

Absolutely the best Chinese food available in the area. I drive from Tillsonburg to Simcoe just to grab food. The quality of the food here stacks up with the top restaurants in the big cities. Dont hesitate

Yesterday we ordered delivery for 7:15pm. Delivery didn’t come at 7:15pm. We called back at 7:45pm. Wasn’t told about the $20 out of town delivery fee even though we live 10 minutes from town. Delivery came at 8:00pm. Food was mushy and not tasty by the time it got here.

Absolutely horrible! The chow mein is 99% bean sprouts and no noodles. The ginger beef is more of a raw vegetable beef soup mixture. Gross!

Today I order, veggie fried rice - no eggs. Eating egg or flesh is against my religious and so I mentioned it very clearly when I ordered. When I picked my order, the receipt says - veggie fried rice - no eggs. Any how when I reached home and started having my lunch I noticed the chicken in it.By the time I notice something was fishy, I already had 8-10 spoons. I was not sure if it was chicken or tofu? So I rushed back to restaurant and lady at the front confirmed it was meat. I am very upset about this mistake. Though they cooked proper order for me later on. But since my childhood I never eat egg or chicken or meat. This is totally against my religious and totally unacceptable. My concern is for others like me who are ordering food from Hoy's that make sure you check your food before eating it. Very very disappointed. I don't wanna down your rating by giving you one star, but I want to make sure that you take all the notes seriously. May be if the person could be allergic to some item and it might result in to severe health problem

Went for lunch 2 weeks ago food was good. Went for supper arrived 6:20 took 1 hour to get our food. Apparently they do all the take out orders and put our restaurant order along with these. Not an advantage to eat in. After 45 minutes as they were being our order we were informed they ran out of noodles what did we want? Our appetizers had come early and were very hot. The main course was only luke warm. We did notice that other patrons who came in after the take out rush received their food within 15 minutes and it was piping hot. Steam was rising from the dishes. The waitress did take 10% off. We were very disappointed in our meal. Will not dine there again.

Honestly took me too long to order from here. I can say the wait killed me after eating here. Delicious has a new paraphrase when it comes to Hoys. Absolutely incredible and at the top of the class for Chinese food anywhere you would ever eat. Thanks Hoys and the staff. You e become the norm for takeout and delivery during this time!!

This was our first time at Hoy’s Restaurant. This will be our to go Chinese restaurant from now on. We used to go to Yinn’s in Waterford and since it changed hands, I don’t like it anymore. Their food is not flavourful at all. I checked the reviews out for Hoy’s and was quite impressed so thought we’d give it a shot. Well we were pleasantly surprised. At last Chinese food that is flavourful!!! The wonton soup was excellent as was the chicken fried rice, moo goo guy pan and chicken balls. Egg rolls were good too. Ur waitress was very attentive and sweet. We will be recommending this restaurant to all our friends. Most definitely will be coming back soon????

WOW!! Really amazing, tasty and perfect cooked with lots of veggies. Servings were HUGE! Everything was fantastic and our server was really friendly and helpful. We live 30 mins away and we will continue to do return trips just for the food here.
