Fish tacos were cheap at least. Place was dead. When the staff finished they would immediately retire to the bar. Glad to see the owners are clueless. The active staff also spent all their available time chatting with their comrades. I think I got checked on a total of four times, the last two from across the room. Go to the one in Pickering.

This Moxies has been here for years and honestly, it’s constantly improving. The hosts and servers are so sweet and helpful- they pop up exactly when you need them. Had a smidge of an issue with my order and it was fixed so quickly it barely put a dent in the night. Mostly frequent here for the dessert and I’m never disappointed! Can’t go wrong with the sticky toffee pudding.

This is always my go to moxies.. for dessert.. quick lunches.. happy dinners..always felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer. A few years ago.. came in with my kids and i guess they noticed how flustered I was and they went above and beyond to make me and my kids feel great. Over the years I never had a single problem at this location. This past summertime I came in during lunch hours and was served a hearty salad by a hospitable waitress. Fairly priced, clean and cozy. Looking forward to more wine Wednesdays.

Drink on the menu I ordered they didn't have, food was okay had the Red Thai Curry. Has lots of vegetables and you can add chicken or shrimp. Dessert was delicious, ordered the cheesecake. Both dishes are Gluten Free and they can accommodate other allergies as well. Our server, Mike, did a pretty good job, he was quite attentive, ver personable and polite. Since they don't have a separate GF menu, servers need more education on what dishes are "safe" that they can recommend to their guests as options.

New York steak is delicious, medium-rare is highly recommended, but if you are avoid of blood, go medium or even medium-well. Prices are nightmare, but worth to have a try. I usually get there at midnight for getting a better dinner environment.

Terrible experience. There was a fight in the kitchen so loud that my kids were frightened. The cursing and crashing from the employees could be seen from the glass wall to the kitchen. Our server did not make eye contact. She visited our table 4 times. In 2 hours. Our food was ordered at 9:30 and arrived at 11:10 absolutely cold. Our appetizers and meal came at the same time. I could continue... Again, horrible night out after a great day of shopping.

Friends brought me here for my birthday. Service was excellent, manager and server were able to help us with our delayed order. Free birthday cookie and ice cream just hit the spot! Went in to watch the Rugby International between NZ & SA on Saturday. Received a warm welcome. The match wasn't on but they changed channels for us and also served us an excellent brunch while we watched the match. Very high quality food and excellent guest relations. Going back for the next match.

This place is never the same, different experience everytime you go. One time the experience was amazing the drinks were made well and food was prepared well ( maybe because the bartender was our server, great guy) then we went back shortly after order the wings and they were raw. Went here Saturday and the service and food was disappointing. It was not yet busy and it took 25 minutes before our waitress came over *after I asked who was serving us*. I got stale fries, my order was mixed up and what topped it off was how the waitress literally threw my friend's receipt at her. This is my second and last time going there. The first time was not as bad, but I hope their service improves. Thanks to manager/supervisor who came over and apologised for the experience.

My boyfriend and I chose this location which we’ve been coming to for years to celebrate our anniversary. Seating was a bit of a hassle which is understandable on a Saturday night. We started with a appetizer which was ordered incorrectly. It was disappointing because this location has always been top notch and second to none. It keep it’s loosing its touch... I will return because I love the staff and atmosphere, but something needs to change

My friend and I made a last minute decision to dine here Saturday evening and we were happy with our choice. We were quoted 20 minutes wait time but sat within 10 minutes. Our server, Vithu came around immediately to introduce himself and ended up taking our drink, appetizer and enter order at once (he joked about us making our order so difficult, which we appreciated as it made us feel he wasn't rushing to run to another table). He checked up on us the right amount of times (we always have an issue with our waiters either asking how were doing between every bite or they dont show up at all). He made our experience at the restaurant very pleasant and we will be sure to add it to our list of places to dine at in the future and request to sit in his area, Keep up the great work Vithu!

Yesterday, I visited this place with couple of friends. Starting from checking in to the patio till our time to eat desserts staff and crew gave us very comfortable feeling. Nice food. Nice vibes. Nice lighting, music & environment for spending dinner nights. We ordered Vegan tacos, Veg nachos, margaritas, pineapple mock tails for reasonable prices. And of course white chocolate brownie with ice cream just won our hearts. Thanks for wonderful experience, will definitely come back to have more of it.

Worst location ever, servers are rude, price went up and portion became smaller. Ordered Nochas and they literally forgot to add my meat topping to it. I actually am making my 2nd review on my business account and honestly.. i will never come to this moxies and ever feel uncomfortable! They always treat me well and i tend to go a few times with my kids.. one of the servers remembered us on a previous occasion and stopped to converse and just check in.. a lot of the same consistent staff.. they have treated my kids and myself very nicely everytime! I am grateful for the employees and management of this moxies specifically.. whenever i come in on a day i feel down, they always without fail, make us feel great!! Thanks for the donuts!! Your donuts make me go nuts!!

Had a smooth visit. No hiccups. Will go back. Menu could use some small changes... they have staple items... that.. just dont really cut it anymore in today's innovative, ever changing cuisine. Chicken Alfredo is.....bland and too simple... and has been on the menu.... forever.... its not that it's awesome... its a "safe" choice... that will leave you underwhelmed. They removed the shrimp sushi... which was FIRE!!!! And why would they ever get rid of the banana XanGo.. those items deserved to stay. Calamari needs to go back to the sliced rings... the new calamari is thick.. and a lil stinky. Over all movies is still hype... I'm just picky cuz I'm a cook... and i used to work for the brand.

I would give this place negative 100 stars if I could. Let me elaborate, my and my boyfriend along with two other friends were there for dinner on a not so busy weekday. We sat down, the waitress came, blah blah blah. By the time we were ready to order, I asked the waitress if one particular item on the menu contain any animal ingredients and if so, is there a way to modify (veganize) it. My boyfriend also wanted a vegan dish so I kept on going and asked about one other dish on the menu. I never felt so offended before because the waitress clearly did not care for providing good service, SHE ROLLED HER EYEBALLS WHILE CARELESSLY ANSWERING MY QUEATIONS. And she also said "omg vegan?! I wish I could do that" along with her eye rolling motions. I felt like I was judged so hard, and even discriminated because of my dietary choices -- by a waitress, the person who is suppose to provide good service! Let's leave the vegan part aside, would she have done this to someone with allergy to dairy/egg/other animal products? I don't know. But she shouldn't. The fact that this happened to me because I'm chose not to eat dead animal flesh or the product from abusing their sexual organs is UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NOT BE GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN, AND I WILL ADVISE ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY THE SAME.

Went here the other month with my cousin Mabel. I ordered the vindaloo and Mabel ordered beef dip sandwich. Vindaloo was great however they should rename the beef dip sandwich to sharpie dip sandwich. It was horrible! Honestly, I've came to this Moxie's location for YEARS, and the service and food has been fine. But tonight in particular, my friends and I came to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress started off very rude, was giving us mean faces and didn't care to tend our table well. We tried not to look into it much, but our drinks were late as were our food, sauces and extra condiments. One of my friends was not happy with her drink and asked if it was possible to be remade and her answer was "I can do it again but it's going to taste the same regardless." Like who says that? Lastly when we were paying, many of us didn't care to tip her since she was so rude and not very helpful the entire night. When she realized they weren't tipping her she gave very mean glances at us. I decided to tip her and her mean glances continued but I got a thank you while the others didn't. Overall this waitress was TERRIBLE and I wish I got her name but unfortunately didn't. Moxie's you need to step up your hiring game.

Had lunch here on Tuesday July 13, 2017. Been to other Moxie's before by far the best service is STC Moxies. I wish I kept my bill so I could personally write to Andrew and his manager Mathew to thank them for the memorable visit. Andrew is a great server and I will be back to visit for sure ! I ordered something i've never tried before the fish tacos, i wasnt fond of it at all i took one bite and didnt touch it again. As a waitress myself I feel very bad complaining or mentioning things like this seeing as I ORDERED it, nothing was wrong with the food, it just wasnt for me or my taste. My mom on the other hand mentioned to our waiter ANDREW that i did not like my food when he came to check on us. I told him that it was okay, it was my fault for ordering it and he INSISTED I order something else so i dont leave hungry. I refused a few more times and he ended up bringing a menu over and told me to choose something else. I chose the sushi cones instead, around the same price and he gladly put my new order in. The Manager Mathew came over shortly after and apologized for the issue and I said no apology needed it was MY choice to try something new, he apologized anyways and ensured me my food would be out as soon as possible. My new dish came very fast and I enjoyed it very much, i left full and satisfied but also amazed by the service. As a waitress for many years I appreciate GOOD Service when I see it, I have been to other Moxies where I have received terrible service, but the STC Moxies always on point.

My friends and I (party of 3) stopped by here last night and we were not served, at all. We waited at the foyer for 25 mins and not one person greeted us. I tried to stop someone and ask but every server/manager/waiter were avoiding eye contact with us. When I finally caught someone’s attention they said they’ll be with us shortly but never returned. And when we were finally able to get someone to talk to us they did not want to seat us in the family area at all despite there being customers already in the family area and lots of booths and tables were available. When we asked why the hostess took on a sarcastic tone to inform us there are apparently only tables available in the lounge. She then left us (very odd) and came back to tell us we could sit in the family area. After that anytime we asked her a question (we asked for the drink menu and dessert menu) she would roll her eyes at us. Also she did not return with our requested menus for 10 mins. No server came to our table at all. My party were quite tired and fed up with not being treated with respect. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. It was the most rude experience I’ve ever had inside a restaurant. I’ve been going to Moxies for years at other locations and have always had a pleasant experience but this experience has left me scarred. We were looking to enjoy our Friday night but this was a terrible end to the day. I will never visit the Movies at Scarborough Town Centre again and I would not recommend anyone dine at this location as the staff are rude and disrespectful.

the steak with mushrooms ???? forgot the actual name on the menu. my plate was clean -- the food was that good. would definitely go back and order the same item on the menu.. calamari was good too! the only issue I had was there was no soap in either of the soap pump when I used the washroom.. During COVID times, thought it would have been more frequently checked. however, the dispensers were filled when I used the washroom before going home.

The hostess and waitress were both wonderful but there was a pretty long wait on the main dishes. The food was quite good except for the brownie that we ordered for dessert. It must come premade and then microwaved because the one we were served was warm in some spots but not others which left it tasting a little off. Overall a good experience though.

Cozy and comfortable dinning experience. Food is 3.5 out of 5, 4 for presentation, 3 for actual taste. Service is 7 out of 5. It really bolds the whole experience. To start with I love Moxies. We used to always go to this place at their Richmond hill location. From last 2years we started going to their Scarborough location. And their White chocolate brownie is to die for. But from past 3 times its always been a bad experience. First time they gave brownie burnt, second time they just gave a pinch of sauce only to eat the whole dessert and this last night they just packed me a kind of frozen brownie(i attached a picture) he was so cold like a rock and we were just outside in car to eat it as their dining is closed. I hope they maintain the quality as they really have the best collections of drinks ,food and dessert

Steak cut wasn’t great quality, tough to cut through and really not much flavour. The stuffed potato was ok, but the seasonal veggies lacking. Total plate was boring. I usually love moxies white chocolate brownie are a go to. However I was less than please with my experience. I got a blackened chicken burger and the chipotle mango chicken and it was literally just seasoning. There was more flavour in my mouth in one bite than I’ve had collectively in my whole life. To the chef tone it down a little am a black personal known for over seasoning who is also comfortable with spice and this was wayyyyy too much for me. The whole meal mash down to the mash potatoes bad mango sauce taste like baby food. I have no idea what they doing in that kitchen, but stop please. Respectfully thanks.

Pathetic food. The bar tender didnt know what he was doing. The clamari was half cooked. The pasta didnt have any cream and has no salt. The chicken fingers were rubbery. Their cosmo is literally ice cranberry juice and vodka served in a water glass. Their wifi doesnt work either.

Very Poor service !! Our waitress had the worst attitude from the beginning didn’t even introduce herself to us . When we asked for a few minutes to look over and review the menu she didn’t come back to take our order until 30 minutes later. We had asked for water with lemon and straws , she brought the water after taking long again ! To only forget the straws ... it took about 3 reminders for her to bring us straws. Then for our appetizer we got the shareable nachos & asked for extra sour cream which was repeated back to us and still we did not receive the extra sour cream. Our food was brought out without cutlery !!! We sat and waiting an ample amount of time before receiving it , our food was cold by the time we did get cutlery to eat our food with and when we did our server rudely dropped them on the table with an attitude!! We asked for take out containers along with our bills , the bills were brought to us without the containers . After paying our bills we were left waiting about 15 minutes before having the containers brought to us. When asked to speak to a manager no manager was brought to us !! When we had left the premises we decided to give the restaurant a call to see if we could get a hold of a manager so we could get a refund. The manager we spoke to on the phone goes by Alyssa she was very nonchalant about the whole situation and did not take any action to make anything better was very defensive when speaking to us and also had a horrible attitude just like our server!! Personally I was shocked that the store would ever be managed by someone who deals with customer service so poorly! I will be in contact with the head office about this situation and my horrible experience with Moxies Scarborough town centre ! Wish I could rate you guys less than 1 star I was very disappointed.

Came here on a Friday night with a party of 6 to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Didn’t make any reservations because apparently you cant make reservations past 5:30pm on Fridays but wait for a table wasn’t too bad, maybe 15-20 minutes at most. The food was made fairly quickly, coming out within 10-15 minutes after being ordered. We got the nacho platter to share which was good but you can’t really mess up nachos. I also got the herb alfredo pasta as my main and it was the blandest thing I’ve ever eaten. My bill came up to around $25 which is pretty good but I didn’t get any drinks because they were pretty pricey. My friend got a rum and coke for $8.25 and I thought that was ridiculous seeing as how she usually gets that same drink for $4-$6. We did get a free birthday brownie for my friend at the end of the meal though. The staff was nice enough, but around the end of our meal our server disappeared so we were waiting to ask for the bill for 20 minutes. Other than that, it was a pleasant meal and it’s a good place to hang out with friends.

The prices seemed pretty reasonable a bit and the hostesses at the front were busy talking, but they eventually noticed us right when we came in front of them. The kitchen staff were not professional, they say too much bad words out loud, which made it a place not suitable for young people to hear. They acted like total show-off's, and the manager didn't tell them to do anything about their language. The only thing I love about this place is the delicious food and our friendly waitress named Angelica! She checked on us while eating if we needed anything & was extremely talkative and friendly, made me smile. Other than that, I will be coming back here but only frequently.

Went on my 5 year anniversary and was seated at a 4 person table with large bar stools. Me and my partner were 2 feet away from eachother and this table was placed directly beside the fire exit in a corner. 100% not what I expected out on a date. Not even a suggestion from the staff to wait on a 2 person table... i would deffiently have waited to sit in their dining area. This just shows me this place wants to make their money and give you the first available table regardless of seating size. If I wasnt with someone I enjoyed my time with I would have 100% left. The food was OK.. mediocre bar food nothing special at all & price was decent. This is a place to go drink with the boys/girls (music too loud to converse from that table distance) not a nice dinner spot. I would have been better off at the food court in the mall.

It was a nice experience, this is our favorite place whenever my friend and I decided to have a dine out. Today, not really satisfied with my food, but it's not because of them, I just wanted to try different food, but I guess that was not for me. Calamari was delicious, my friend had a sirloin steak and she said she loved it as always. Otherwise, service was great, host was full of energy.

Tonight I ordered smashed guac that wasn't very smashed, was stringy and lacked flavour. Service was terrible. Prices have gone up where quantity and quality has gone down significantly. I used to order the chicken vindaloo. Years ago, it was a good portion size and came with awesome naan bread. Now, they barely give you any rice, literally maybe 5 to 10 spoonfuls. And the curry comes on the side, barely any chicken at all. Such a dissapointment. Would rather go to Jacks or Scaddabush from now on.

After work place to chill before heading home. Sat in the patio which even though faces the parking lot, they have made an effort to make it look nice with colourful flowers, nice benches and pretty decent table/chair set up. Just had drinks here but they have drink specials. The server was really friendly and checked in with us in a regular basis which is nice. Inside is that dark and cosy vibe with lots of booths. Definitely a great place for dates or just hanging with friends and people watching.

The waitress claimed that our platter of nachos were burnt accidentally after waiting for over 40 minutes for them. She didn't come to check on us, even though it wasn't busy, and only came when we tracked her down to see where our food was. In addition to the 40 minutes, we had to wait another 10 minutes for another plate to be made. And in the end, an insignificant discount was made to apologize. The manager didn't even come to see what was happening. Usually they have satisfactory customer service, but this experience is making me think twice about going there again.

I've been to this moxie's location numerous times and I always thought the food was mediocre. It's location was convenient so it was always a spontaneous decision eating here. However, their food has improved substantially. I had the chicken + ribs and it was absolutely amazing! I've never thought I'd get this quality of food from Moxie's so I was blown away! My friend had the steak and she loved it! The service was good but the food is what took me away. Would definitely re-visit!

I like this location and I've come here twice and got a server named Mike who's really chill. Was really nice and made sure everything came out on time. Only criticism for this location is that if you order take out make sure you have everything you ordered because we've been shorted on food twice. Called the manager and he said he would send out a gift card to our address. Still waiting on it almost 3 weeks later. Maybe they see this post and actually send it because I was never refunded either.

Went there on a Saturday evening around 6.45pm without reservation. We were told that it would take approximately 15mins wait because we did not want to sit in the lounge however not even a minute after we sat to wait, we were directed to a table for 2 :) which could seat up to 4 people. I don't remember the server's name but he came to us, introduced himself asked what we'd like to drink. My bf asked for recommendation since it was his first time there. The waiter patiently went through each category of the menu highlighting the top dishes in each category. We ordered the Herb Alfredo, Honey Garlic Sirloin and Calamari for starter. The wait for the food felt long. I did not check the time but might be 20mins. A waitress came and served us our pasta and steak. The waiter came right after asking if everything was fine. While starting to eat, I realized that we got our main dish before the starter. We could not see our waiter passing by until halfway through the dish and told him that we did not get the Calamari. He apologized, asked if we still wanted it and we did. They then brought the calamari later and the waiter apologized again and said the dessert would be on him. We got their Signature White Chocolate Brownie for free. Overall, it was a unique experience for us at Moxie's and we appreciate the effort made by the waiter to make up for the error. The pasta was good, but not as yummy as I had the first time. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked at medium rare, and the dessert was marvelous! We will definitely come back in the future. We initially planned to get a dessert to share but did not see any dessert menu. Maybe they provide it at the end of the meal

I feel that Moxies doesn't have too much of a selection, its always the same limited menu. Went back for late night dessert and I’ve never been more disappointed with service. I understand it’s late at night and everyone wants to go home but there’s a way to speak to people, the waitress wearing a moxies tshirt told us she didn’t work there, then the bartender was being strange. Would I come here again? Not sure, not even the dessert could save my experience here.

The only issue I have with Moxie's Grill & Bar at Scarborough Town centre is the lack of attention and service towards the black ethnic group. Individuals of the black ethnic group, tend to wait longer to be served by a waitress and/or just the lack of attention by Moxies staff. Went to the keg first and had 1.5hrs wait time. Called another keg was told the same this was around 7pm. But when we got to moxie we got sitted right away, even though they had a high birthday party and we got our food fast...was delicious and well done. No complaints for service

You know when you go to Moxie's you gotta have the white chocolate brownie... No matter what! But now.... You also gotta have the Miso Ramen. Oh my goodness, this dish is so so sooooooo good! Staff, especially the funny manager, are a delight and it's a great and cozy atmosphere to have lunch or dinner with whomever. It's located in the mall (Scarborough Town Centre) across from Scotiabank or next to Forever 21 (if you're coming from outside of the mall). You can also dine in the bar area, which is just as nice as eating in the dining area. They have TVs in the bar for those who want to watch sports.

The best part of dinner at Moxies is the white chocolate brownie for desert after. Be warned its huge so if your not sharing or have a serious sweet tooth I recommend getting the bite sized one.

I was actually a little disappointed by Moxie's because I usually enjoyit. I wasn't too pleased with the cleanliness especially during these COVID times. One of our menus was dirty...it's paper just throw it out. My silverware was dirty...yuck.... especially when they are saying extra sanitation measures are in place, I don't feel so sure. Our food wasn't too good...I had a lettuce bun burger that had more lettuce than burger (and surely more lettuce than I would ever have as a bun). Overall disappointed.

I loved this place specially since it is so convenient. It's connected to the mall so you can do your shopping before or after an amazing meal. It is a fine restaurant but they have options of sitting in a fine dining area which is a little formal or the lounge area by the bar. You have to be 18 & over to sit at he lounge area. Since it is fine dining you will be spending a little more but it is all worth it because of the amazing food and ambiance. I personally love their Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl, Teriyaki Chicken Wings & Quesadilla. They have great selection of wines & drinks. If you are new to wines, the servers are very helpful in getting something for your taste buds.

Decor is good, but the food is not so great. It's attached to the Scarborough town centre mall so that's a plus if you are out there shopping. There are many restaurants in this area that are better in terms of food for eg milestone, Swiss Chalet and Scaddabush. One thing that this place does well is drinks(Bellinis) so check their drinks menu out.

Reduced portion sizes keep you feeling hungry. Prices are ridiculous now. They need to bring back the med bread and avocado spring rolls. The chicken vindaloo used to be on a bed of rice with naan pieces. Now it's less than a spoon of rice and the curry is in a seperate bowl with NO chicken. For 20 bucks? I it was my first time in 5 years revisiting moxies and I'm dissapointed. Reminds me of why I stayed away.

You have the try the Roasted Tomatoes & Whipped Feta appetizer. It is really good. It's different from the traditional bruschetta, and soo worth it. Who knew you could whip feta. There's an garlic herbed oil in there too. The cherry tomatoes are warm and juicy. (baby tomatoes, fresh herbs, artisan sourdough bread) I also had the sweet potatoe fries which were delicious as well. For dessert, go for the white chocolate brownie which is served with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream.

I had an amazing experience and I wanted to recognize our server Josh B for being one of the best servers I’ve ever had. My husband, daughter and I came on Friday night and even though it was busy, Josh was quick, welcoming and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. Even my daughter enjoyed her time because she drew about it for her kindergarten homework!! And it wasn’t even for our table, you can tell Josh was making other tables feel just as great laughing with them and making sure they were enjoying themselves. A table beside us was celebrating a birthday and he took a one of the party hats and wore it the entire night to celebrate with them! Would definitely recommend this place and if you ever get served by Josh B you are in great hands!!

Came here to eat in 3 days in a row. Food is really good, I love the loaded cheeseburger. My problem is that I was sat next to the kitchen on my most recent visit and I was disgusted by what I saw. The cooks were all laughing and joking with their masks pulled down cooking my food. I saw one guy touching his face/mouth area with no gloves and then touching kitchen utensils. Eww, don’t talk over the food with your mask pulled down!!! Come on people, like seriously get it together. Don’t be nasty!

For typical bar food it's pretty pricey. There really is not difference between them Jack Astors, Keg, etc. all the same menu and taste. It really just boils down to which one is busy or where you and your friends want to eat. I find that thier vegitarian menu is almost non existant.

Last evening I ordered 2 orders of Red Thai Curry. I’ve ordered this so many time in the past few years (most from the same location). Well, it’s changed but the price didn’t. The veggies are all slivered now. No substantial vegetables. There’s no green beans now. The sauce is being thickened with some artificial ingredient. It’s not worth the money now. Maybe they’ve got a new cook? I’ll try another location but Scarborough Town Centre, we’re done!!

Good location and great seating space. Went there with my friends. The service we received was exceptional but the food was not the best. I personally ordered the enchiladas and found them dry. It had no gravy. Enchiladas usually have some sort of gravy (roasted bell pepper, dry Mexican chilli and tomatoes). Also, the menu was really basic. Need something new.

Great location, inside Scarborough Town Centre. I would like to single out one of the servers, Perry, who tended to our table during my daughter's party this early November. He was so patient and helpful, from menu suggestions to a complimentary treat for all the kids. He really made sure we were happy the whole time. The kids loved the wings, nachos and pizza, but what really stole the show was the ice cream sitting on a bowl of dry ice!!! It was my second time visiting, after going there first this past Spring for my friend's birthday celebration. Will definitely return and try the "sports bar" area and take in a ball game or two in the future.

If I could give a zero or a negative ,I would but google forces me to give a star My sister and I chose the food that we wanted to eat, the watier gave us the receipt IMMEDIATELY before getting our food?!?! We felt insulted by this as if the waiter thought we would eat the food and leave without paying which is not what we do at all since we always tip for waiters after we finish eating. But obviously we didn't tip this waiter at all by how he treated us compared to others. We literally saw the waiter gave the receipt to the other customer when they were done eating. But when he came to us, the guy just gave the receipt right after we choose the food BEFORE even getting our food? I honestly felt that we were being discriminated since NO service or any other place would treat customers like this. Looking back it, I really wished we just cancelled our ordered and left. I wouldn't want to pay for a service who would discriminate customers like this. The whole experience was disguising and I hope no one goes through this horrible experience or be discriminated :/

Such a terrible experience. It's like they hired all kids. From the greeting to sitting down, to even paying the bill. I was served my steak and my girlfriend's pasta and we have no cutlery. So many servers running around however it took us 25 mins just to find someone to get us the bill. My steak didn't even look appetizing as the plate was massive and everything was to one side. My mother decided to take myself and my daughter for lunch. The waiter we had was awesome. His name was Vithu. The food was phenominal. I had the lunch combo with the Beef Dip and cheddar broccoli soup! My mom had the Beef Dip as well with a ceaser salad! We made sure to tell Vithu to let the cook know that the food was phenomenal. We went to Moxies at STC (Scarborough Town Center) for Winterliciuos 2020. Enjoyed the veggie soup, the Chipotle Mango Chicken, and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. My children chose》Market Salad, Ribs, and the pudding, except one of them chose the Fiasco Gelato mint chocolatechip . Everything was delicious. And our waitress Tatyianna was super????????. I love the avocado in my dish paired with the mango flavour. We had a good time eating and watching the Raps???? beat the Pacers????????❣

First time being to Moxie's the environment in the Scarborough town location was beautiful and the staff was friendly, the dish I ordered wasn't exactly what I expected hence the 4 stars but I'm sure they have other dishes that are worth a try... One in particular is the ribs which looked really tasty, ended up staring at the ribs when my boy ordered it lol however take your friends or your date definitely will set the mood for your loved one. Took her over 10 minutes to greet me because she was too busy socializing and laughing obnoxiously with her friends. Gave such attitude and was very rude. Whoever hired her made a mistake. Worst server I've ever had. You can also see her nipples through her shirt, very disgusting. Will not be returning to this Moxies with her working there.

I come here for take-out. They are the only restaurant I know in the area that can have orders ready for 11am. The general manager knows how to keep customers, that's for sure. One order was late (by about 5 minutes) and he gave a few free desserts to make up for it. Food quality is on par with other Moxie's, but the staff here make it worthwhile. Nearby parking is brutal though, so arrive early.

Horrible customer service. The food is the only reason for the star. We booked dinner reservations for a large group. Our group meets once in a year. This event was booked back in September, as we knew due to the Christmas season they might not be able to accommodate us. We had asked to be seated together. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had one long table and two boths for our group. They mentioned that they cannot seat us together and another large party (same number of people as our group) was given the bigger table in the lounge area. Even though we made the reservation well in advance and it was mentioned that we were the only large group, at that time. We asked to speak with the manager, all he did was make excuses and lie that he mentioned the seating arrangement to us at the time of booking. Never going back to this location. If they cannot accommodate us, then they should just say so. We will be happy to go somewhere else.

I come for the white chocolate brownies, they make the best in the city. Big shoutout to Hasina, she’s super friendly always remembers our table when we come. Even if she’s not our waitress she’ll always come and say hi. 4 stars for the brownies, and 5 stars for Hasina.

Service was really bad. We waited forever at the front, and then we waited forever at our tables before somebody came by, and then somebody came by and apologized for the wait. So we order food call and it takes forever for the food to come by as well. Our waiter finally decide to come by once and ask us how our food was.

Super overpriced its not worth the food and the wait. Ice tea tasted like water, the calamari's tasted like salt. Everything was very salty except the bread. One star for the friendly staff. But never coming back again. That would be our first and last at moxies.

I visited Moxies (STC) one weekend and the staff there are all welcoming and very friendly. Walking in, there were only smiles from the hostesses, and it really makes a difference and shows how much they care for their guests. One in particular Sanki was very professional when it came to check our vaccinations and walk us to our table seeing how busy it was at that time, she was friendly and took care of us. I am a returning customer to this location, and am not surprised at how nicely I am treated every time I visit. The food and service was amazing and the server Josh was very patient and kind and recommended something new for me to try. Needless to say, they have me coming back every time.

Really nice place! Went here on my birthday (Thursday night) and the service was fast and accurate. The food was pretty good too I got the chicken rigatoni ???? came with one of the best garlic bread I've ever had we had to get seconds lol The server got me a white chocolate brownie piece with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce for the birthday special which was amazing as well Kind of pricy but worth it, would come again 10/10.

I've been to Moxies several times and have always had a good experience. This last time we were having a work get together. I was worried that since they don't take reservations after 5 on Saturdays that we may not get a table. However showing up at 6 and asking about the likelyhood of getting a table for 630 they happily led me to a table to wait. Service was excellent, food and drinks were delicious.

The servers were super quick and friendly which is always appreciated. Seated very quick. Big portion sized for the price. However I found the shrimp tacos a bit too sour/salty for my liking maybe it was the Cajun seasoning. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyed will return for happy hour drinks.

My husband and I love this place so does our kids. I have been to most go the locations. We have introduced so many friends to this restaurant. The food is very tasty and staff is great. The removal of the stuff potato and the desert with pecan is very disappointing. We are hoping they will be reimplemented on the menu.

I’m having a quick lunch with a co-worker today at the Scarborough Town Centre upper floor location of Moxie’s. We are sitting in the bar area. I continue to wonder why so many restaurants play music at a level that customers have to compete in order to carry on a “normal conversation”. Anyhow, that discussion is for another day. Sharing a calamari $16.25 today. The main purpose was to have a private talk on a brewing situation. Service was good as was the appetizer. I’ve been at this as well as the Mississauga location several times and will return again.

This is the Moxie's by the Scarborough Town Centre. Nice ambiance and a good vibe all around. Food was good except that the Sirloin steak that I ordered was a bit saltier than usual. Sides and the desserts were pretty darn good. The servers were polite and friendly. Overall, a good place to eat if you are around STC.

This restaurant is conveniently located if you are at Scarborough Town Centre shopping mall. It has a great atmosphere and ambiance. However, food was not good value. The prices are pretty steep for what you are getting.

If I could, i'd give this Moxie's a 0 star rating. This place is horrible. As soon as I stepped in, a hostess made eye contact with me, gave me a rude look, and then just walked away. She went somewhere and another hostess didn't come to greet me and my family until a couple minutes later. She asked me if i've been helped yet, which no. I hadn't. So I finally got seated and was happy, but it didn't stop there. The server I had, I think his name was Sean? I don't remember, but he wasn't doing his job well. He just wasn't being professional in the slightest bit. Wouldn't smile at us, never came to ask if everything was ok like a waiter should, and forgot multiple things that were asked for. I should've known just because of the things i'm told about this place. Many people have told me its an unprofessional and disorganized place. As well as it being a dirty restaurant!! The staff isn't very welcoming and friendly, or if they are it seems forced. You can tell no worker there is interested in accommodating to you and it makes the guests' time less enjoyable!! Like thats ur job!! They really should look into hiring new staff, because from what I know, this location has a bad reputation in terms of staff service especially.

We went there on Monday November 5.Very poor service,the waitresses are very inattentive.Very inefficient,very poor table maitainance.Server didn't do quality check as well as never offered second round of drinks.We felt being rushed. Went there again yesterday.Extremely poor service as well as very inefficient. Even though there were only 2 tables in the lounge, we had to raise the hand and ask for the table to be cleared. The service staff is not paying attention at all.Obviously, this is the place with one of the worst service in the city. I wouldn't recommend it

Came here on a late Saturday afternoon. It was not very busy. Restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms which have nice mirrors and a seating area (probably a plus for most girls) and we were seated rather quickly. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Ordered the bruschetta for appetizers and also ordered the thai curry and tacos with fries. Food was fairly tasty. I've had the thai curry before so I know what I was expecting when I got it. It isnt the best or the most authentic thai food but it was decent. I enjoyed the bruschetta and the tacos were good. I've always loved the desserts at Moxie's, so you cant go wrong with the white chocolate brownie and the sticky toffee pudding was very delicious. The smaller portion for the sticky toffee pudding was a pretty good size, especially if you had quite a bit of food for your entrees and just need that hint of sweetness.

We go to this location cause they have a patio, we got there and asked for an umbrella, the waitress said that they were all broken. I was very disappointed about this. Also, the area where the smokers go, needs a cigarette disposal. The grass is littered with used cigarettes. The service was good and so was the food.

Last night, I came to this Moxie's location for the first time with a couple of friends. The food was great, but the highlight of the night was the service. Our server Dia was absolutely amazing!
