Fresh and fast, generous portions! Cantonese noodles, yum! Wonton soup, eggrolls, yum yum!! And husband is really fussy with chicken balls (chicken to dough ratio), he says they're big & meaty so 2 thumbs up from him as well!

Richard Richard

You can get the fast and relatively cheap westernized "Chinese" food (chicken balls and stuff) or other nicer/fancier food.

Krissy Hauschild

Not the Chinese we are used to. Food had an odd smell and we left after a couple bites.

Dan Horton

Best service at an eat in astablishment in town, amazing food for a shockingly low price. An experience worth repeating.

Lisa Barnes-Hecker

Maggie Simons

They packed my food into a box, great idea except for the large amount of sauce that came from who knows where, that's messed up the back seat of my car. This will be our last time eating at this place unless they finally return our repeated calls and make it better.

Lucas McFadden

A nice little family restaurant. I've been visiting this place for years. Would certainly recommend.

David Craig Owen

Excellent food, not expensive, best service by far!

We ordered take out only due to Covid so no comment on the place, only food. We can't find any other Chinese restaurant in Sault so we had no other choice and it seemed popular with locals as we saw some locals there as well. However food was not great. Hot and sour soup was a big disappointment. I also ordered sweet and sour shrimp and honestly the soup tasted the same like the sweet and sour sauce. The sweet and sour sauce comes out in pink, no kidding, like the bubble gum pink, which makes me feel uneasy due to the overuse of food coloring. The shrimp came with a huge chunk of batter, the battered shrimp was as big as my wrist and the actual shrimp was as small as my pinky, at least it was crispy. Food didn't taste fresh either, it tasted like microwave food. Some good points are big portion, food was hot and the takeaway packaging was decent. All in all, if you crave for Chinese and can't find any other place, go for it like we did, but don't get your hopes up too high.

Food and service was amazing..I ordered the SS chicken balls, SS shrimp, orange chicken and the sun kwog fried rice....first of all I've had the house fried rice from every place in town and this is the first one I've got more than 3 pieces of shrimp in the rice...the orange chicken was amazing and the chicken balls and shrimp were delicious as well...very pleased overall...will definitely be back.

Paula Curry

Excellent sesame chicken! Large portion. Very friendly service. The gentleman brought it to my car boxed up nice nice. I preferred this restaurant over Hard Wok and Golden Dragon

Ed Sowka

Fast, fresh and cheap. Friendly staff. Great place to satisfy the craving for Chinese food. Good breakfast too.

Garrett Aitken

The Beef and Vegetables were quite good, lots of juice in the take out container so make sure to keep it level. The spring rolls are quite good. Service was friendly and the price was fair. Thanks for a great meal!

Karl Ding

Taste is just so so. Maybe good enough for the owner.

Dan Nunya

Good food and friendly service.

Rob & Ray “Bubzie & Babez” Cummings

Sun Kwong is a nice quiet little restaurant with great food & decent prices. The staff is very courteous & friendly. They have combos & meals for larger orders. Parking out front on Queen or in the rear. We eat here at least once a month.

Kelly Anderson

Food was good service was very good

Jennifer H.

Hands down best Cantonese in town. Everything is homemade and very fresh.

Nathaniel Lupton

I didn't like it. It is not authentic Chinese at all, and the quality is mediocre at best. It seems to have a very specific needs check in terms of loyal clientele who apparently don't have sophisticated tastes.

This is our go-to spot for Chinese food! Everything is freshly made to order, comes out hot, and consistently delicious. I always go back for the almond soo guy (the gravy is to die for!), Singapore noodles, shrimp with lobster sauce, and the homemade egg rolls. The decor is a bit dated, but if you are looking for great food and friendly service, this is the best place for it! The family that runs this is so nice, and the last few times we were in the owners came out to ask us how our meal was. Great hospitality and true staple in the Sault, given that it has been here for decades!

Joanna Burley-Scott

Delicious food. Out of all of the Chinese restaurants I've tried in Sault, this one is my #1!! They are so friendly, chatty and makes me feel welcome! I truly love their wonton soup and any of the combo platters! Decent price for delicious food!????♥️

Yvonne Lee

Good meals. Good service. But as an Asian, I have to say. This Chinese food does not making for Chinese people.

michael kamien

I got the Mapo Tofu and breaded shrimp. The Mapo Tofu was delicious. Overall very good but a bit too pricey for what it is.

Vivian Hong

My favorite place for Chinese! Love the Wonton soup

Ron Stewart

Not a bad Chinese restaurant. Chicken balls so so but shrimp was good. Fast delivery so over all was alright!

Niro Vahee

Good food, staff good. But food delivery late.

James Kohut

A bit dated. The food was hot. Sizable portions. Reasonable price.

Darcy Bartlett

Never disappointed. Good food, good service and a fair price.

Angela Crockett

Fast, fresh and delicious!

Megn Jaxt

James Gloster

Bob Ross

We had visited this place a few years ago, while travelling through town, and the food was good. While staying in sault st Marie, we made a point to eat there today. Big mistake! The restaurant is quite large, and when we visited, supper time, it was empty. The decor is old, shabby, and dated- it was dark, and smelled of stale of cigarette smoke, dust and sadness. There was no delicious smell of food cooking. We began by ordering tea, which was served in big mugs with advertising on them - the kind you get free as a promotion. Bad start ... My meal was a disappointment. We started with egg rolls. The inside was basically raw bean sprouts and little else. Seemed to take forever to chew. The chicken balls were rubbery (almost like they were re-heated in a microwave?) Almost impossible to cut with a knife. I was not able to eat the doughy outsides. My 'fried rice' was basically white rice with soya sauce, and one pea. I had 2 deep fried shrimps, no lemon, but at least they were edible. The biggest disappointment was the chop suey!! Basically raw bean sprouts, with a few slivers of onion. No taste. No sauce. No veggies or meat. I ordered a side of chow mein noodles, hoping they would help. But instead of the fried crunchy noodles, I was given a small paper container with stale pretzle-like stick things - yuk. I mentioned my concerns to our server, and she apologized profusely and took the cost of the dried noodles off my bill. .50 cents. I spoke to her again about my inedible meal, and she apologized again, and reluctantly agreed to take 10% off. My meal. She returned with a new bill - minus $1.40. I won't return and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Glen Lee

Always quick food and never disappointed.

Sammy Spliff

Great food, good prices! Great place for lunch or dinner!

Darla Diotte

Food is always fresh, good value combined with excellent service ????

Cathy Hicks

Best place for Chinese Food in the Sault! Quick, friendly service and the food is hot and tastes great! Best Won Ton soup in the city!

Penny Horsman

The food was piping hot and delicious.

Dan Savage

Xceptional people X sectional service and xceptional food

Patty Caputo

My go to place for Chinese ...the best !

Brandon Earnest

Ordered ginger beef and orange chicken as take out items, the flavor was okay. The breaded/battered meats were quite soggy, however. Fairly high price for average food I'd say. Average, and not the cheapest in town either.

Jocelin Zhang

The worst food I ever eat. Unclean, bad service! Absolutely NOT Chinese food! I promise! 太难吃!绝对不卫生!吃完拉肚子!

Susan Ashby

Shame we couldn't dine in, but of course Covid. Passing through on our way back home to Winnipeg, read the reviews and heard from locals on how good it was and now we totally agree. Both had S /S chicken balls with fried rice and an egg roll, all of it very tasty and good.
