The burger had more salt in it the last time. The sandwich was yummy but I realized I should have only gotten a single burger because now my double chin is back. Ugh, good prices though. Went to Stackburger based on Trip Advisor and Yelp reviews. Most of our party had burgers but 3 of us had the poutine. Everything was fresh, hot and flavorful. It is a very small dining area - tables of more than 4 will have to split up.

A unique offering to the fast food scape in the soo. The food tastes great, fries are crispy and the milkshakes are hand blended and even offer malt options. That's the good, the bad is the grease and the wait time. Burgers are often so greesy it leaves a puddle and soaks through the bag if you take it to go. The wait times, though understandable, for cooking method means if you are on a time crunch especially during lunch or dinner rush can leave you waiting up to 30+ minutes. More of a warning than a detraction. The prices are on par with most places landing squarely in the $14 dollar range for a meal with tax.

A decent burger..... I guess, maybe I'm just not into grease anymore. Pouting was good. But both my girlfriend and myself had digestive issues for hours afterwards. I love to support local businesses, but stack burger is just not stacking up. P.S. they got our order wrong twice.

This is one of the best fast food style places in town (if not the best). It is local, affordable and they prepare hamburger patty in store that day. They will customize your burger and have a great variety of hot sauces. I have brought people who do not like burgers to Stackburger and they have really enjoyed the food and actually wanted to go back. Also they have amazing fries, and the staff is fantastic. Not 1 negative thing I can find about the place.

It's a gourmet McDonald's. And don't take that the wrong way, McDonald's isn't good and this place is one peg above that. The hamburger patty is bland and the buns are plain. The menu option is shamefully small. Why do they not put anything in the patty? Offer different bun styles, toast the bun, make it a burger joint maybe. A fast food chain has more variety than StackBurger. I don't recommend.

Always hits the spot. I've never had a bad Stackburger. It is definitely a greasy burger, but it's a very, very tasty greasy burger. The fries and malted milkshakes also pair perfectly. Everything tastes fresh because it is fresh, never frozen. I'll continue to come back—a great addition to our downtown food scene.

The milkshakes we're just milk, and the bottom buns in the burgers we're very soggy.. they looked and felt like scrambled eggs ... we ended up going bun-less on our double stacks tonight and left our milkshakes outside to thicken up

Tried the double stack plant based burger and fries.... fantastic!! Only thing I didn't like was the small buns, might work on a single stack but the double should be on a larger bun. Overall it's a hot spot and I'll be back.

Well run family burger business in the heart of downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Kevin and his staff always offer consistent genuine service along with the best and tastiest burger in the city. No pretentiousness with the burgers at this establishment. Poutine and fries are so delicious along with generous portions. The cheese on the burger is so good, I love how your edges crisp up and thank you for offering a keto friendly lettuce bun option , was able to eat take out without extra carbs. Just a tip: get heavier napkins, your burgers are too juicy in a good way for tissue paper Highly recommended.

The burgers are well made and are reasonably priced. The party is cooked perfectly. I would recommend getting the double-stack burger if you’re hungry since the single patty is only 4 ounce. The only negative thing I would say is that the bottom burger bun was cold.

Just got back from Stack with some colleagues. I am just jumping back on the Keto train after a holiday hiatus. I ordered 2 burgers but forgot to specify lettuce wraps instead of buns. I sat down at the table, realized my mistake, and momentarily considered starting back up again tomorrow. Instead I brought my tray up to the counter, confessed my sins, and asked if they could fix it for me. She was happy to accommodate my request and didn’t charge me a thing for it. Side note, if you are cutting carbs, this burger is a nice compromise. You don’t feel cheated when you’re done. They might not have made any money on me today, or maybe they did, but I will continue to support this locally owned business since they value customer service AND they have awesome burgers! Thanks Stack Burger staff!

Always friendly service. Owner in house frying up the perfectly cooked tender beef burger. The traditional Stackburger is served with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and Stacksauce. Double Stackburger runs ya in at $12.50 for a coke and a heaping portion of fries. You can opt in and add an additional patty for $2.99 a slab. The traditional SB is the perfect portion for lunch or dinner. Wonderful atmosphere with kind and caring employees. 9/10 would reccomend. The only downfall is they arent open on hangover Sunday.

quite possibly the most delicious burger I've had, such a classic taste and texture makes me feel like this is what McDonalds should taste like. the flat top give the burgers an incredible outer crust that cannot be beat all while maintaining a juicy interior. the locally supplied beef combined with their application of it makes for a great meal. They have great burgers and awesome poutines. I also enjoy their milkshakes, chocolate & vanilla, they r delicious. You can order in or take out & everything is cooked, made & served right in front of you. The dining room is man cavish and they have sports on the tvs they have for you to watch. So its a great place for a fast burger and fry and can even be visited with the kids. They do have a kids menu also.

These burgers are amazing. I've tried other places that do the smash burger (like In-n-Out) and this is the best one I can find. The beef is super fresh. It's a bit messy but I go with everything with extra jalapenos (fresh not picked) and bacon. Skip the fries and add another patty on your burger.

The best "classic diner" burger in town and compared to many other towns. If you like your burgers extra greasy like I do, the special phrase is "juicy burgers". Definitely worth hitting as a local, on a trip, or even a drive through the city. Awesome service, friendly staff, and delicious food!

Best Burger in town. The place could stand a good cleaning though. Everthing is sticky, the bathrooms always smell a bit and the garbages are always full. Fix those things and they rival 5 guys. My family and I havd been coming to Stackburger since they have opened and will continue to come for years to come. The food is simple, it's real, and best of all it tastes abosulty amazing. Everything is made in front of you and always comes off hot. If there is only one place your gonna eat in Sault Ste. Marie, make Stackburger the stop.

Burgers are fantastic but I’m writing this at 35 minutes in queue, just not an ideal place to eat right now because there just isn’t enough space or people here to keep up with the demand. If things ever slow it’s fantastic but like no one wants to wait 40+ minutes for a burger

Great hamburgers using hand made patties. You put your toppings as you wish unless you order a Stackburger which has the toppings pre-chosen with a special sauce. Flavour is quite good. Would recommend.

Pro: Fast service, decent quality (but small) burgers, copious amounts of fries (possibly to make up the lack of burger size). Pricing is fair. Con: Fries are left in cooker too long, poutine tastes basically like Bovril beef stock mixed with cheese curds. Final Verdict: I'll come back but only for a double burger. If fries/poutine improves I'll give it another try though.
