Have always loved their pizzas and prices are really good. We were disappointed the last time we were there and bought 2 pizzas to take home as they both were so soggy when we got home, we couldn't eat them so was a huge waste and an even bigger disappointment. They are often so busy the phones aren't answered and other friends and family have experienced this also recently but perhaps they were short staffed which happens.

Great food, great family and great staff. Just recently had the Easter turkey dinner special that I ordered for my Mother. The food was delicious and the service was great especially with these trying times and lock downs, take out curbside pickups fast and easy. I love Sandro's.

The Server was lovely and very helpful, The buffet was adequate. I have had a gastric bypass so I struggle with eating a lot of Meats... and when I asked to have the chicken bones and the remaining chicken I couldn’t eat wrapped up to take to the hotel for later and the bones for my dogs , the owner told the server no. That was a petty response and lost them a customer . Word to the wise : don’t judge a book by its cover you have no clue what health issues your clients may have.

Very clean restaurant with a nice variety of food. I had the cappelletti soup and the chicken breast with red pepper sandwich - both were very good. The prices are a touch on the high side for lunch but fair for dinner. Service seemed to vary wildly between server to server.

Whenever my family is in the Sault we go here. Atmosphere and the food is great! Service depends on the server (one lady looks like she would rather be anywhere else when serving and I usually have to walk up to the bar to get a refill because she's no where in sight) but thats anywhere these days. The Italian egg roll is AMAZING and big enough to share or take home for lunch the next day (under $15.00 with extra toppings). Go for lunch or avoid the typical dinner rush and you won't be disappointed!

I loved the food but didn't like my first experience. I have been to many restaurants in Sault cuz I am a foodie and like to try new and different things. The waiter that was serving me at first was nice but when I placed my order I told her to leave the menu with me as I might order more, she did. When you first go into a restaurant, sometimes it is hard to understand the amount they might give or how the food might taste, so I usually try 2 or 3 different things at first as I know I can always pack it up for home if I cant finish. When I told another waiter I want to order more she politely said she will let my waiter know and when she did I clearly heard my waiter saying out loud, oh she wants to order more in a very high loud voice? I only had 1 pasta and 1 garlic bread order before. She came and I placed another order of a different kind of pasta and she was looking at me very surprised. I think she froze for a sec and I still said with a smile I can take it home if I don't finish, I am not giving any competition and she started laughing at me. She did verify I am not switching my order, I said no I want both the pasta. I thought maybe she is an elder person and maybe prefer small portion so thats why she was laughing at me. But I neglected it and said I can always take it home if i cant finish. As per my request she was nice enough to double check with the chef that there is no pork in either of them but then at the end even though I understand its the closing time, another couple just came in. But she was rushing me specifically by asking me how many box I want. I said I will let her know soon then she counted saw the food on my table and she went like oh you will need 3 boxes. I said yes but I will let you know, when I am done. I checked the timing just to make sure and I saw there is still 20 mins left for closing and another couple just started there food. Probably 3 or 5 mins later she came back with 3 boxes and pointed me out which side is the bottom side of the box. ???? And I said politely yes, I know. I mean tbh I didn't wanted to sit around any longer. I don't see her rushing the couple that came way after me. Then why me?

Stopped in here for a bit on my way to Alberta. The customer service is disgusting! It's all good if you have regulars but serve the people that came in before them first! The girls at the bar were rude to my family and I. Not an ideal place if you're just stopping through. Food was also expensive for what you get.

Normally the food here and the experience is awesome, especially if you are lucky enough to have Ron as your server!! However, Ron was not working this past Thursday when we were there. My mom ordered the liver entree and when she told the server it was tough and left over half of it on her plate, nothing was done about it? That was very surprising and disappointing. I am sure Ron would have offered a solution if he had been there. The Friday buffet is always awesome!!! This was definitely a one off situation this time. Will definitely be going back again soon, it's usually always very good. Highly recommended Sandros.

Waitresses we had were slow and un responsive to our needs. I understand that. But still had to ask several times for our beverages at the breakfast buffet. The scrambled eggs I the hot table were sitting for a long time and fresh ones took a while to be replenished. Same as the waffles and the things that went with them. When I finally got tired of waiting to enjoy the waffles and decided on French Toast. It was dried out and chewy from sitting so long. Not a good experience for me. The people I went with told me it was not the norm. I won't drive across town to eat there again any time soon

Sandro's hosted a banquet for my Club and exceeded our expectations. There as been some sort of glitch and a negative rating showed up to which Sandros replied. But my experience at this restaurant has been truly, a five star experience.

Made the mistake of going for the buffet. Not worth $20.00. Selections were sparse the only pasta was gnocchi. If a better pasta was offered, the excellent meatballs in the buffet would have made sense. Should have ordered a la carte, but was in a hurry....

Sandro's has a comfortable atmosphere where I felt at home. I have been there a few times, and enjoyed the panzarotti, Tour of Italy (3 pasta dinner), and the eggs benny! More than enough food, delicious, and the kitchen was very accommodating to special request. The servers are super attentive. I heard fellow patrons tell the staff that whenever they travel across the country and drive through the Soo, that they always stop in at Sandro's!

I really loved this restaurant. We had two adults and 3 kids and everyone ate their food. There is a great family table. The service was exemplary!!!! The homemade pasta was delicious. There was fresh cut fries. My kids didn't really like the gravy but I thought it was fine. The bruschetta was unreal (we do wish it was on a more sustainable bread that didn't get soggy). I think it's the best tasting bruschetta we have had. The kids meals are a great price. Well done we will be back!

Ate here with the family this morning based on TripAdvisor rating. Ordered off the menu for breakfast and the food was great and came out quickly. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back in SSM, I'll be back.Awesome place! Tons of different variety of food. Went with a large group and the price was excellent and the staff were amazing.

Stopped in for dinner and ordered the special, chicken parmigiana . Had two nicely filled canneloni with it, and a chicken soup special. Beer was a locaL micro brew 11 PM porter. No major Canadian brands such as Labat or Molson, but there was the usual swill from St Louis and Milwaukee. Very surprised. Service was attentive and food came quickly. It was satisfactory but certainly not as good as my wife's food. Appreciated the effort. I'd go back.

Pretty good food if you don't mind waiting a good while and paying through the nose for it. When you see the amount of the bill It's hurts to add 20% more on for a tip, but I always do, it's not the servers fault that the prices are so high. It's getting ridiculously expensive to dine out these days.

First time eating there and it was great. The waitress thought is was someone’s birthday because we were a party of 9. So she decorated the table with balloons. That was nice. Buffet is good. I have dined in, ordered out and been to the buffet. Have never once been impressed by the quality of the food. The servers have always been a pleasure to deal with. The panzarottis are almost always overfilled and undercooked (kudos for trying not to be cheap on fillings though). The pizza dough is also pretty floppy and the sauce not very flavorful. They don't seem to skimp on toppings which would be good if the pizzas/panzos were actually cooked enough to enjoy. The other dishes (breakfast, chicken, etc) are decent but for the prices I can think of several other restaurants that serve tastier versions for the same price or less and you don't take as much of a chance at being disappointed. Worth trying this resturaunt but definitely not in the top 10 best (non chain) restaurants in the Soo.
