Visited this restaurant because of its extreme convenience (in the same building as our hotel) but also because it got good reviews and the menu looked tasty. Very nice interior, friendly service, and food was excellent! We had a small meat lovers Pizza and a pork chop with mashed potatoes and veggies. Extremely delicious!

My boyfriend and I had a late dinner here last night and the server, Barb was wonderful! She never stopped smiling, was attentive and answered all of our tourist questions with great details. We were the last guests and she never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The service was a brilliant 10/10 and she made our evening. We had wings and a burger and both were incredible! Restaurant is new and very well cleaned. Live music was perfect volume and a lovely addition to dinner.

The gourmet pizza was AMAZING. OMG. Definitely recommend. The owner was in and all the staff was very hospitable. Nice establishment, cozy bar, and TVs for those who need then.

I would definitely come back. Mostly because of my server michelle who was so kind and made our experience something to remember. She was so professional. She recommended the prime rib and it was fabulous. Definitely will come again.!

This was our first time at Johnny's Chophouse. I ordered a New York Strip steak, appetizer of bruchetta and a small beer. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was delicious. My only complaints are that the steak was a tad salty and the beer was a bit pricey.

I went Saturday September 14 and was seated at 6:37 . My wife and I sat there until 6:57 without being acknowledged once . 3 different servers walked around us and never said anything to us so we just got up and left .

We were staying at the hotel while on vacation. Not many restaurants around so opted for Johnny's. Did not enjoy the food! Cheese slices on my French onion soup - really? Broth in soup was weak. And cheap ham in my salad - not worth the $16.

I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very welcoming and served us at the bar in a very timely manner. We were informed upon arrival that they had the full menu available at the bar seating, and that there were three different specials that day, all of which sounded delicious. the whole place was very clean and had a relaxing feeling. All of the food ordered was brought out quicker than I had expected, and was very good. I had the cajun chicken which had a great consistency and flavor, and was not dried out in the slightest. I also very much enjoyed the mushroom risotto which had quite large mushroom slices in it making it even better in my opinion since it was something I had not seen done before.

Ordered takeout here tonight, paid an extra $4 to upgrade fries to onion rings, got home and it was cold fries in the box. Burger was good, pasta was good but the sauce was very acidic and needed salt and parm cheese. Salad came already dressed so it was soggy. Maybe the experience is better in house, but itll be a pass for me next time.

First time at this restaurant. The food and service was excellent. We had the pork chops with veggies and mashed potatoes and baked potato. Absolutely delightful. We are visiting from out of town. Highly recommend this restaurant

The food is absolutely delicious. We had the spaghetti and shrimp aglio e aioli and the pork chop. Dessert was to die for... Pistachio cheesecake! Piano player was outstanding. Our waitress, Chris, was very attentive and helpful. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Roy, the host was wonderful, spending time at every table.

To be completely honest, we came in with low expectations knowing the restaurant was attached to the Quality Inn. Well.....we pleasantly surprised by the welcome, service and quality of food. Some had burgers and others had the Porchetta Chop. Everything was fresh and nicely prepared. Roy is top notch! Thanks so much for a great experience. We’ll be sure to tell our friends passing through!

Amazing steak! The servers here are super friendly, if you are coming from the hotel they will assist you with any directions you need.

We were travelling the Agawa canyon train tour. We booked the Holiday Inn and suites at this location as it offered good value and was right across the road from the train station. It was a real bonus to find a very good restaurant attached to the hotel. The Chop House name may sound pub like but the meals and decorum are not. The meals were varied, very flavourful and value for the money. The restaurant felt a little classy but still welcoming. Just what we wanted after a long day of travelling. We were there for three days and did not have to move the car once. Very convenient. Free breakfast were also part of our hotel package and we ate here as well. Breakfast were also excellent.

This place has fantastic food and service. The sizes of the meals were large and the drinks were some of the best that I've had in a long time! Highly would recommend this place for holding Christmas parties or other events as they have a separate dining room that is intimate and private.

Our experience at this restaurant was downright fantastic. The staff are personable and very friendly. Our waiter Roy was excellent, he saw to our every want, he was very funny and engaging. The restaurant manager Carrie followed up with us after our meal to make sure everything was correct on our bill and to see how our experience was first hand. I will definitely be returning, and I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone. The food was spectacular, our steaks were perfectly cooked, the risotto was creamy and flavorful, and the Caesars we had with the meal were some of the best I've had. 10/10 Excellent experience.

Our experience was horrible. Our salad was soaked in dressing, my lamb was swimming in grease, and the steak dinner was SUPER salty. The service was ok. I would never go back and spend my hard earned money there. Extremely disappointing birthday dinner.

My Wife and I are on a socially distanced road trip around Northern Ontario and arrived in the Soo last night, We were tired and not sure where we could find a good meal. We are staying nearby and saw Johnny's Chophouse, looked interesting so we gave it a try, so happy we did. The Waiter that served us also greeted us at the door, we left our information for Covid tracking which although being a bit of a pain, is neccesary and made us feel safer, he did a great job and made us feel welcomed. The food was more than we expected, My wife splurged on a grilled prime rib and I got the Chicken Piccata with a side of Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, both were delicious, and let me say this, as an Italian and a Chef I will say best Chicken Piccata and Spaghetti Aglio e Olio I have had in a restaurant. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

Very good service but the steak was poor. The New York strip was not a good cut and it was charred with no notice that that is how it was going to be cooked.
