Typical franchise restaurant with decent menu options. Lots of unique and local beer on tap. Service is slow so be prepared to wait, our last lunch visit took 2 hours. Nice atmosphere, live blues music on the weekends and a Starbucks located at the entrance

Wow. 0/5 for the Worst food ever. Dinner for 8 took way too long to arrive. Ordered the brisket, it came with a plastic bag (seriously) cooked into the food. They said they would cook me a new meal, came back with the same food on a new plate 3 minutes later. 14 hour cooked brisket is in fact lunch meat from the Metro deli. Cooked vegetables were in fact raw broccoli on everyone's plate. Everyone's meal was cold. Of the two steaks ordered, one MED one MED WELL, both came out bleeding red. Who ruins a sirloin? They found a way. House slaw= a 1/2 cup of raw cabbage. McDonald's across the street would have been a better choice. Felt bad for the waitress as it wasn't her fault the food was embarrassing. Eat anywhere else but here.

Sat on the bar side, party of 5. We were seated, and it took 20 min to put in our drink order, 45 min from sitting to receive our drinks (4 beer and 1 margarita nothing unusual - margarita was rimmed with sugar... who does that???). Took 1 hr 15 min or so to have our food order taken, and waited almost 2 hours for food to arrive. 2 pizza, 1 order of wings, 1 nacho platter, 1 poutine, 1 basket fries. I can't speak for the other's food, but my pizza was lukewarm/cold when it arrived, and the last times to arrive were the poutine and fries (10 minutes later than everything else). I had to get up and ask for ketchup for the fry order, and then again to get my wife a fork for the poutine (they didn't give us ANY utensils). Someone who was either the bar manager or restaurant manager stopped to acknowledge she'd seen we were waiting a long time (we were polite enough not to cause an issue or complain) but didn't extend any compensation and the explanation that they were really busy was poor. The seating area was maybe 30% full, and other people came after us, ordered, ate and paid their bills all while we were waiting. This comes down to competency of the server and management. I will not go back.

OMG THIS PLACE SUCKED!!! I had fish and chips, and my wife had the mango whitefish. Lets start wth the whitefish. It was drowned in grease, the rice was cold and crunchy. Now for the fish and chips. The fish was again drowned in grease, and the batter was the equivalent of eating soggy dough. Things have definitely gone to hell at this restaurant and the Water Tower Inn as well. We will never be staying or eating here ever again. Think twice before entering these places.

I've been here a few times now and everytime the food has been tremendous. The prices are fairly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you're getting. The restaurant is very welcoming with a good choice of music, and of course very clean. The service is quick and they're sure to check on you if you need something.

this is the second worst restaurant i have ever eaten at. i keep getting dragged into this place by various people against my will. every time i go the food is worse. i have had a different item on the menu every time. i believe the only tolerable item is the asian calamari. i actually think the cook staff should re-evaluate their career choices. its in a great location and i like the atmosphere in this restaurant. i really wish it had decent food.

Well spaced seating. Friendly staff. The red pepper soup was amazing. Had the butternut squash ravioli and it was delicious. Featured dessert was a carrot cake/ cheesecake which was a great way to finish off the meal.

October 2. Been 6 weeks and the management has yet to call me back or return calls. An admission of poor service and an admission of guilt? Took a large group of 10, that were staying at the Water tower inn, to another great eatery. Not CASEY'S! AUGUST 10 UPDATE. I went back to Casey's on August 4th to talk to the management. Spoke to 2 of them. Have them my receipt. They said they would contact me in a few days. Still no call. The bill was 36.00. Casey's staff certainly have no integrity. Or take responsibility for poor food. August 1st. Just had French onion soup. 3 pieces of bread on top of sloppy soup. Then had very and goat cheese salad. Found 2 blond curly hairs. Told the waitress. Said I would receive a discount. The manager came over. Said that they would take care of the meal. I go to pay my bill. It's 36.75 . Wake the waitress. All she said was she was sorry. Is this how CASEY'S deals with this?? I won't return to Casey's again. Talk is cheap at Casey's and the food SUCKS!

So our food finally arrived, wait time wasn’t the worst but 1 lb of wings apparently equates to 7 measly chicken wings. We did the math and averaging $1.94/ wing at $12 a serving. Wings weren't even that good, but the cost even turned me off more. AND IM STILL HUNGRY!!!!!

Spent over $100 on 2 people. One bacon cheeseburger with fires and one Texas burger (beef patty and brisket) with fries. Both burgers were merely burnt and the brisket was extremely dry. Fries were awful and they were out of Mill st organic (not the worst thing but still). App was ok (nachos), nothing special but quantity was more than perfect for 2 people. All in all. I'm never going back.

It's really disgusting that this restaurant has caved to draconian illegal measures of asking for your V status to eat when its not required in the hotel. Whenever I stayed there I had their breakfast, sometimes dinner. No more.... your customers treat you well...the Gov hasn't so why turn against your customers? Turn against the Gov. It was fine last week to eat there but not this week...you really think that's right. Your main source of income is to feed people. Not discriminate.

Dear Casey's Owner: I'd just like to first apologies that I didn't write a review sooner, as I do for so many places. Let me take a moment to say how much I enjoy eating at your Restaurante. Me and my family make a point to have dinner here, as we go for swims at The Cabana Club, quite frequently. We enjoy very much the part of the kitchen that is open, as we can see the chef's designing wonderful yummy food. Also my teen boys enjoy being up on the second level, as it makes them feel very important in the word. They wish to see that open more often. Myself, I like the fireplace. Used to really enjoy this place, but things have changed. Staff was good, other than the feeling of being rushed out the door the minute we took our last bite of food. Premade frozen burger patties and fast food quality. Requested no salt and got salted fries. There are far better options for the price.

Food was great. Service was poor, had to remind to get us water even after the meals had arrived. Chef was NOT wearing a mask. Asked about this, said she doesn’t wear it when cleaning but does for prepping? Stated it’s too hot back there and people have fainted? Be aware if you are concerned-staff are allowed to remove masks when they feel like it? Waitress could be heard talking about how dirty the place is because the night cleaners are no longer there.

Ordered 2 fish and chip meals , was told 10 minutes , we showed up and were told there not doing it . We called 20 min before they closed so we asked if they would still take the order and it would have been understandable to say no . Insted they tell use yes and make us drive up there to find out that it was really no .

The first thing I want to mention is the excellent service we had from our waitress Trisha. She gave us good advice on the menu and was very friendly and helpful. She checked in on us at appropriate times and made us feel very comfortable as it was our first time there. Very warm friendly service. We had the ribs and beer special and the food was really good. The good arrived quickly. What I noticed is that the staff worked really well together and help each other out, it seem like a very good team environment. I would highly recommend that you dine there.

Our server was phenomenal, if I had to rate them independently, I would give them a 5. Food, although good, hideously overpriced for a chain restaurant. Steak was cooked how I wanted it, great. Although, the steak knives lack any kind of quality. I felt like an overweight, out of practice lumberjack attempting to saw down a tree with a butter knife.

The roasted red pepper soup is to die for!! Incredibly delicious!! I also got the chicken with a side of Caesar salad. The food is truly delicious, the service was incredible! Making sure we were comfortable and happy with our food! The atmosphere was dark but lightly lit, which I love. It makes it feel cozy yet romantic in a way. There's also a bar once you enter the restaurant. I'd definitely go back!

Having both worked and eaten here I know the quality of the food that's for sure. It is good and at times great, but I feel as though their prices could be a little lower by at least a couple dollars. In 2015 the cheapest item on the dinner menu was $13.99 and that was pretty close to the restaraunt standard around here, however, for a small bowl of penne pasta I eould expect to pay less. Salad or not. I am a bigger guy and am usually hard to satisfy portion wise but this is one place that will always leave me hungry. The atmosphere and the servers are both great though. There is also a pub in the same dining area so you can actually order from 2 different menus and the deserts on Sundays are to die for.

We are staying At the water tower Best Western Inn Sault Ste. Marie And had the misfortune of using our breakfast coupons at Casey’s bar and Grill this morning. we waited 30 minutes before anyone came to see if we would like a coffee. Meanwhile at the same time they sat another table of four and immediately ask them if they would like a coffee loud enough for us to hear. no one came to take our coffee order by our waitress. Finally a new girl came on shift and when I motion to her to tell her that it had been 30 minutes before we had even got a coffee she immediately sprung into action and got us something to drink. We were very frustrated and disappointed with how we were treated. On the plus side we did get our breakfast meal about 45 minutes after we arrived! ????????????

Went to casey's with the family, 9 people in total. Arrived 4:30PM place not busy yet, ordered meals for the 4 children Straight away as they were starved and thought this would keep them busy. Ordered the adult drinks, all came OK, but my son's tea came without the tea, just hot water, took approximately 5 min. to get the tea bag. Meals ordered, kids meals arrived just before adult meals, Unacceptable! I had the fish & chips, fish was over cooked,too crispy and dry, I had asked for extra lemon which did not come, the coleslaw was dry. My wife had one of the burgers and she also said that it was over cooked. I had to ask 3 times for a coffee refill before I received it. All in all a very poor experience and we will not be returning.

And to help, no offer to replace the soup but it was on the bill is of course. $ 80 + wasted in my opinion. I will certainly not go back. Ordered a lunch with whitefish. The fish was nearly mushy and had absolutely no flavour to it at all. Wouldn't recommend eating fish here. I had to ask for tartar sauce when the waiter finally came around near the end of the meal.

Being from out of town we had chosen Casey's as we had an ultimate gift card. I was pleased to know the waitress said so at the beginning that they were no longer accepting those gift cards. This Casey's is in the Water Tower Inn, so there were other places there as well. I had the fish and chips one fillet & my husband had Chicken Parmesan with Penne. Food was wonderfully cooked, service was great.

I had the pan seared salmon. The salmon was over cooked and not even seasoned one bit. the day veg was almost raw and the rice pilaf was dry and flavourless. i had originally ordered fries to come with the salmon but did not receive them. My wife and I had also ordered spinach dip to start but it was "not heard". As for my wifes meal, the whitefish dinner was delicious. It was a battered fish and it was perfectly cooked. Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience, however i don't think that ill "never" eat here again.

We visited this restaurant twice on a recent visit to the Soo. Food was good and service was also good. Unfortunately on the first visit the host chose not to wear his mask properly the entire time we saw him in the restaurant, with the mask clearly below his nose. On the second visit, days after it became the law to check vaccination certificates... no one asked to see our proof of vaccination. Fortunately we are double-vaxxed, but who isn't vaccinated and i still getting into the restaurant?

If you are a traveler and you are looking for a good meal when visiting the city I would not recommend Caseys. The menu consist of all frozen foods at a very expensive price. The menu did not offer any unique dishes just the standard variety of typical burgers, fries , and pastas. The food was not awful just very bland and low quality as you would expect with frozen food. The restaurant atmosphere was nice and my server was okay.

Very nice atmosphere and not loud. Service was good and fairly quick. We were a group of 12 and they forgot one person in our group. My meal was good but a few people were not very pleased. Bit pricey for no salad or bread. Overall it was pretty good.

I'm just not impressed. My chicken wings were like rubber and bathed in cold Frank's red hot. My sons buffalo chicken wrap had some weird flavor on the lettuce. And my other sons kids steak was dry and rubber. Omg, just go somewhere else. After a 6.5hr drive I am just disappointed and sad...

Came here for a post wedding brunch. They have a breakfast buffet but I opted to order. Got avocado toast. Came with roasted potatoes. The meal itself was delicious, lots of flavour. Very yummy. The watermelon was a little soggy but I just didn’t eat it. Atmosphere is kinda fancy. Nice meal, good breakfast.

Nice atmosphere waitress was nice enough not over friendly. Dinner I ordered the chicken Parmesan when it came the pasta was very dry hardly any sauce no offer of Parmesan cheese so I asked for some sauce as pasta was very dry and Parmesan which she brought . When I got the bill they charged me for sauce and Parmesan “really” I was shocked you would think I when you order a pasta dish sauce and cheese would be included not impressed..

WARNING: WILL NOT ACCEPT GIFT CARDS!! Came to eat dinner with my friends. I received a gift card for Christmas that can be used at any Casey's/Montana's/Swiss Chalet etc. So I receive my bill from my waiter, go to present him with my "Casey's gift card" and I am told they do not accept Casey's gift cards. The sign outside clearly says "CASEY'S" this ad on Google even says Casey's but was told they are now a "Cabana?" Place and not Casey's therefore would not accept my gift card. Luckily I had money to still pay for my meal, but had I not.. very embarrassing and very misleading. Would not recommend, use your gift card at a location that claims to be who they actually are !!

I think the current average system rating of 3.6 is pretty accurate for this place. If the ratings system allowed for a 3.5, that's probably what I'd choose, but the staff went above and beyond being helpful and friendly, so I'm leaning into a four since it's either a 3 or a 4. This is part of the Water Tower Inn. I've only been here once, but the drink had a decent pour and the fish tacos were tasty.

Burger overcooked. Fries advertised as being freshcut were frozen from a bag. Bar strange with a weekly painting class...loud instructor on microphone. Wait staff VERY good and very friendly. Hope for a.better meal next time going thru the Soo. Last chance... actually the head chef just came over. He stated the fries are never frozen...they are fresh cut elsewhere, blanched (boiled) then delivered to the restaurant. When asked which would be better...unblanched fresh cut or blanched "fresh cut"... he said to be honest...probably the blanched....so there's the problem...a head "chef" who doesn't know how to season and doesn't understand that FRESH does not mean blanched to hold longer...therefore losing all taste. So sad that management is not tasting the food every so often to ensure quality. On the better side Matthia is very attentive, bubbly, fun and friendly. One bright star in a quagmire of poor cooking.

Not so good service. Our server was cold.. but very cold. We saw her 5 quick times. 1 When she ask is what we wanted to drink. 2 and 3 twice to ask if we were ready to order. 4 asking if meals was ok and 5 for the bill. Someone else bring our food and she never come back or ask if we would like an other drink and its not because she was busy. Including us, there was 6 customer for 2 server. every time I go... service is going down... sorry crashing.

Attended wedding here at the water tower inn. The night before the wedding the groom and about 60 showed up at Casey's bar.Staff weee quick to get us tables and chairs Marisa was looking after our orders. She got all orders and attend her other patrons with out some struggle, she admitted they did not expect a group our size, we had no issues with service orders were fast and correct. Even chasing some that had run a tab,(lol) but all was settled with no issues. Marisa kudos to you hope you rested next day we worked you hard. Casey's bar would not be the same without you, will definitely come back next time because of this young lady's work.

Do not order the Chicken Parmesan. Order takeout for room and the chicken was so overcook I was unable to cut it with the plastic cutlery. The cheese used was very low quality and greasy. Ended ip tossing the meal in the trash and dined at the local gas station.
