Consistent taste and service… Authentic Indian taste
I ordered the samosa chaat and it was delicious, best chaat I’ve ever had.
I wish I could give Tandoori Tadka more than 5 stars. I have eaten Indian food in several cities across Canada, and this place had THE best chicken vindaloo I've ever had. Most other places just use heat, but Tandoori tadka added layers of flavour to the experience that elevated it far beyond all others. The naan was excellent. The veg samosas were extremely tasty. My wife raved about the buttered chicken (medium spiced). After the terrible disappointment that we had trying to find decent Chinese food here after we moved from Ontario, we were certain we would be stuck eating more traditional prairie meals. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Definitely my favourite restaurant in town, and we will be back!
Ordered take out. Food was ready on time. Absolutely delicious both times we ordered. I recommend this restaurant if you love Indian cuisine.
Was my first time there this evening. I ordered the butter chicken, basmati rice and onion naan bread. It was all fantastic! The butter chicken was rich and flavourful. The service was great. Quick and pleasant. They were reasonably priced also. Would definitely recommend and go back!
The food is delicious, staff are friendly and music is good. Will cone back for sure.
This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Saskatoon! Their butter chicken is the best I’ve had, and their naan bread is the perfect consistency—not too sweet, salty, or crunchy. I always order on SkipTheDishes and they prepare their food faster than you can blink. Anything I’ve tried off their menu (lamb biryani, pakora, kabob) was excellent.
Great service with tasty food..nice cozy and quite ambience. Nice experience overall. Good paneer lababdar for sure.
Extremely tasty food! We tried it via SkipTheDishes last night, and ordered way too much food, fortunately that meant great leftovers. So, tonight we figured we’d swing in to get fresh naan bread for our leftovers and found the actual restaurant is a gem. We look forward to eating there on a future date night. The Butter Chicken was the best we’ve ever had, and the Chicken Vindaloo was perfect, spicy with outstanding flavour. I would highly recommend Tandoori Tadka to anyone on any occasion. Value for the food was also fair. Cheers.
This place is amazing. Such great food and friendly staff. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
Paneer lababdar is the best vegetarian option to try but with garlic naans and second option is methi malai matar.I always go there to try something new but end up with the same order. Must go and try. Highly recommended.
Best lamb in town! Always amazing food and great service. The aroma draws me in everytime I pass by. Thanks Yash for the great experience!
Finally we found authentic Indian food in saskatoon, I had Tandoori Tadka's food in one of the Family function, they did catering. I went Friday night with group of 8, they were busy still food came at once with rich and flavorful dishes. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, explained well with smile. Definitely come again soon for sure. Thanks for great service
Wow! Just Wow! Best Indian food place in town! We ordered Chicken with couple of choices of naans. The food is delicious especially the Naan: so fresh and tasty! Our server was Sunny and he was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
Service
The new owner is killing it. Taste and quality just like back home (India). Everything fresh and just perfect.
Thank you Sunny great hospitality very exotic food we enjoyed all(Lamb Vindaloo, Mango Chicken Paneer Lababdar and tandoori breads. Tonight our visit worth from Edmonton to try your tasty food.
Very happy with my experience at Tandoori Tadka. Amazing authentic flavors and you know it's legit because they don't offer beef in any dish. I've eaten in and had takeout and both were equally fantastic.
Best curry I’ve had in Saskatchewan
Such a great quality of food and very unique taste. The best customer service in town. I had paneer lababdar and veg buryani. It was super delicious and tasteful. Will visit you guys very soon.✨✨
My new favourite Indian restaurant! The samosas are some of my favourite, make sure to try them out. I'm usually not a fan of chana masala, but this place has changed my mind. It reminds me of a few of the most popular Indian and Himalayan restaurants in Sunnyvale. They're very attentive of how much water is in your glass and that you have enough food to eat :)
Went there last night. Omg the butter chicken is one the best I ever had. Huge amount to eat..Will be back
Ordered a bunch of different things for pickup today including one tandoori and couple of vegetarian dishes. This restaurant sure lives to their name and knows how to marinate chicken properly for the tandoori dishes. Naan bread was perfectly cooked. Vegetable samosas are very authentic as well. The homemade gulab jamuns are good but could be better. Overall their food tastes exactly the way they should be for the corresponding dishes. I will definitely order from here again!
Great food and awesome staff. They had a problem with their card reader and said I could come back later and pay. I did and it's nice to be trusted in this new world we're in.
One of the best places for Indian food in Saskatoon. My all time favourite is spinach lamb and dal makhni. I would absolutely recommend trying this restaurant.
Awesome staff. Delicious food. Worth to visit this place.
Came here with the whole spectrum of spice lovers. The ability to pick the level of spice for every dish let everyone have something. I personally went for spicy, and it was delicious. Plus, they gave us a basket of Naan at a time so that it was always fresh made and wasn't sitting on our table. Really clean place, and helpful staff too!
My first time trying east Indian food and it was amazing, definitely recommend this place.
Good food. Very tasty. ALMOST authentic Indian cuisine! Good to see a nice initiative by some young people. They are hard working and doing their job properly. Learning from their mistakes, I hope! To the server, if you drop cutlery on the table, even if it's clean do not give it to the customers. Change the cutlery! That's minimum restaurant etiquette. Anyway, liked their food. It was very nice. Way better than some older East Indian restaurants in town
Finally! A place in Saskatoon that serves Indian food that’s more authentic to home style meals like what my family makes. They are not full of grease and oil. Also, the spice level is amazing! I’ve ordered from here so many times and the food has been consistent.
Service
Authentic and flavourful are the two words that describe this restaurant the best. Tried seven different dishes and each one was amazing. Loved the Naan bread and sauces that accompanied a few of the dishes. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Korma was the favourite dish on the table, with a beautiful mix of spices and smooth texture. Lababdar was rich and flavourful. Their butter chicken was one of the best in the city. Naan was hot and fresh. Gulab jamun was the perfection I've been searching for, ever since my go-to Indian restaurant shut down 5 years ago. Service was fast and friendly and included helpful suggestions. Prices were quite reasonable. I think I have a new favourite Indian restaurant.
The food quality has declined so bad. Went with our parents there and they served Pakoda from Frozen, after a bite, it was frozen from inside. They brought out burned Naan which we asked them to change it. So disappointing experience...
I must say, the staffs are really friendly and professional to deal with customers. I went to lots of restaurants(Indian) which was not at all professional! And about the food! I really like their Biriyanis it is different and that is my personal preference for the place.
Even before walking through the door, the smell of spices and food welcome you forward. Food itself is fantastic. The staff is very friendly, and every time I have gone I leave with a very happy stomach. The prices are very good, and the portion sizes are fantastic. 5 stars!
The food 5/5. Quality ingredients. Fresh. Good quantity and quality for price. Decent value for money. However the price can creep us as you do not get rice and nan with any meals. 3/5 for service and atmosphere. Service is as basic as it comes and the restaurant is very plain to eat in. No music and no real authentic vibe and in fact the HVAC fan is so loud it’s hard to talk over it.
wow, one of the best cost saving restaurant I ever seen. good job but think twice Mr. Owner you are playing with your costumer trust and health. Mr. Owner I am sure you understand what I am talking about and hope you will not put blame on your employees because employees always does what owner said "Knock Knock" I wish you a very good Luck to see how long you can make people fool. and my suggestion Please try to be honest and believe me you will be more successful. I can write everything but I decide not and to give you one chance. Also, best of luck for Keep buying reviews.
We live nearby and have ordered from them for take out many times in the past. I’m a huge fan of the veggie samosas and their paneer is excellent!
Ordered from here multiple times. Always very good. Naan bread, butter chicken, and rice...NIIIICE!
The place is very simple in decoration, decent space but not for large group. Environment is ideal for family and friends. We tried 4 dishes and all of them were testy and service was quick. It’s a typical Indian restaurant and the test is very similar to the most of the Indian restaurant. Nothing exceptional but good. The servers were very professional
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a chicken korma that was rich with creamy flavours that melted in my mouth with the garlic naan bread. The place was warm and welcoming on a cold night. Will go back
Delicious food ????, good services, you will remember the taste of authentic food of "Bharatvarsha".
Lovely food and perfectly priced! We ordered a spinach lamb and a lamb lababda’r and it was delicious. Definitely recommended. Also, the best gulab jamin in Saskatoon!!! Thanks Dhruvik for the AMAZING service!!!!
I wish there was a option for 0 stars. We ordered salad for our meals, got the salad for my desert. It's hilarious but disappointing service. They need help, go apply there for job but beware they might fire you before hiring.
we were in search of a new restaurant capable of exposing us to new flavours. we arrived to a clean establishment and was greeted by happy friendly smiling staff. water arrived on time as well as our cutlery was spotless. our server was excellent at describing the dishes available and made some great suggestions. we received our food extremely fast and we were blown away by the variety of phenomenal flavours and lived happily ever. we will definitely be returning just as our server promised we would.
Amazing authentic Indian food, best I've had since traveling in India! You won't be disappointed!
Delicious authentic Indian Cuisine. There’s Dal Makhani, Paneer Lababdar, Veg Biryani, Tandoori Paneer Tikka and crispy Naan n Roti are the best in Saskatoon. Nice and interactive staff, great service. A must visit place for Indian Food lovers.
The food here is pretty delicious. I have tried most of the indian restaurants in town but I think here i got the best quality and quantity for a decent price. The restaurant is also great for dine in and gives a typical indian restaurant vibe. Very recommended!
New favorite spot in Saskatoon, the Mango Chicken Curry was the best curry I've ever had. Coconut Naan bread was also spot on. Great service and amazing food. Can't recommend enough.
Awesome food and very friendly staffs. I've been in this Restaurant more than ten times with friends and families, always same awesome taste and highly recommend for Indian food. Couple of items're similar to Nepali food, which is very good for me.
Ohh i loved several dishes i ordered. And Mr Dhruvik was very good at our hospitality plus i recommened anyone who wants to eat indian food should visit there. Thank you Mr dhruvik an amazing person. :-)
Tried the restaurant this evening with a small group of friends. The food was very delicious, well portioned, and very enjoyable. The wait staff was very attentive to our group, making sure water was refilled and we had everything we needed. The option to pick between mild, medium, and hot was appreciated by our group for sure. A great experience; we will be back for sure!
Very good food and amazing staff! We per-ordered our food and it was ready at exactly the right time. Love the samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken and tandoori chicken!
Great friendly service. The meat was Halal. All the food came fast and was hot! It was so delicious????I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
Take out
Tandoori Tadka is one of our favorite restaurants! Amazing food and excellent staff. It doesn't matter if it's for dine-in or take out, you'll be well tended to and well fed. Can't recommend the chicken vindaloo and prawn biryani highly enough!!
Dined twice. Liked both time. Quick service.
Everything was great… except the rice, which was way too spicy even when we asked for mild heat.
Really impressed with this little place. Food was great, medium spicy was just right.
Dinner
I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo (medium) and Garlic Naan. Cost $25 and I feel I got more than my money’s worth! Great, full flavour from the Vindaloo and the Naan was warm, large and savoury. Highly recommend and will return again!
The last two times I've gone for East Indian food (at different restaurants completely) I've been very disappointed. However, that all changed after eating here! Definitely happy to find an East Indian restaurant that serves proper food. Ordered the butter chicken, Chana masala, buttered naan, stuffed naan, and classic basmati rice. Left very full and happy.
This place is amazing. Cannot wait to go back again. My wife and I went and wanted to order everything. We had butter chicken (best in town hands down), paneer, lamb in cashew sauce, stuffed naan and garlic naan. All were absolutely incredible. Took half of it home because that was a ton of food for two people. The staff were super attentive and kind as well as helpful with recommendations (got a recommendation on which type of paneer to order). Good prices, great quantity, and AMAZING quality.
Meal type
Best biryani in town. Topnotch traditional taste of India. Lucky to have this restaurant In city of saskatoon.

This is one of the best places to go for Indian food. Keep it up.
Fantastic food, best Vindaloo I've ever had. Will go again.
amazing Biryani thanks and also best staff thanks
Absolute best Indian food in Saskatoon! We won't order from anywhere else. The coconut naan is delicious and all the dishes are so flavorful.
We wanted to try out a place we had never been to before and we will definitely be back! Everything was so flavorful, big portions, great price and Dhrubik was very helpful with suggesting a fan favorite meal for us. 10/10 my Husband and I agreed it is now our go to place -Rhonda & Loren
We were just in tonight for dinner. We ordered daal makhani, bhindi, lamb biryani, lassis and samosa chaat. Samosa chaat being the appetiser is supposed to be served the first, while it arrived when we were half done with the main course. We requested the server that we didn’t need the samosa chaat then but he insisted he couldn’t take it off our bill. The drinks arrived when we were almost done as well. Our samosa chaat was taken in the back meanwhile as the staff was discussing the concern. When we paid the check, we were charged for the samosa chaat, when we asked the server to pack and hand it over to us since we were being charged. The server said he had already trashed the samosa chaat by then. So we paid for the food and never got it. We are your regular customers, we eat here once a week, the server recognized that we are your regulars as well, and honestly this is the first time we encountered such pathetic customer service. Very disappointed.
I have ordered twice from this restaurant and it was not great food. It has such high reviews but I just can't see how? The food is mediocre at best. Also so EXPENSIVE!! For one person ordering a main and an appetizer and a Lassi, $48. No rice or anything extra! Also the portions are microscopic.
Meal type
Just ate here for the first time tonight. Got the medium heat butter chicken and garlic naan. It was fantastic, will for sure be back!
It was great experience to try their delicacy. Mr. Yash Patel was very helpful and kind .Great service.
Sad cuz this place used to be great but apparently it has recently undergone an ownership. We ordered last night and the naan bread was burnt, the Lamb Vindaloo was not lamb at all it was clearly beef, and they informed me they will no longer be honoring the 10% off for pickup orders. Very disappointing
Went in there on a Tuesday night for my second visit to this place. To be honest, quite surprised with the numbers of tables they had on a Tuesday Evening ( great sign for any restaurant) Food Me and My friend ordered paneer tikka, chicken malai tikka, Dal makhani and Chicken lababdaar . Food was good but nothing exceptional, great for Saskatoon dining though. The paneer tikka was a little too spicy and a touch dry. Couldn't experience any other flavours becoz of how spicy it was.Everything else was good though. The best part of the meal was Rasmalai. The onion salad was exceptional too probably the best of lot. Service I think they were a little understaffed for the evening. If the restaurant has to stand out from the rest, than this is where they need to focus on. Our appetizers took a little while to arrive. Upon asking why is it taking so long, we were told that they cook it in clay oven not the microwave.Although, I appreciate the Information provided but one could feel a touch of arrogance in it ( not required or necessary when you are a month old in the business). And when we did got the appetizers, our main courses were served even before we could finish the appetizers. I am sure we did not mention that we were in a rush to eat and leave. Service do need a lot of work. I guess having an extra person would have helped. Service is the key when it comes to restaurants, and it could be the decisive factor between a good and a great restaurant. Pay more attention on service as you have the food to establish yourself in the city. Wouldnt have given it a 4 star if it was any other restaurant but since they are new and trying to build a rapport, everyone needs a little support. But that tongue in cheek reply from the staff do creates a little doubt about their vision though. Will go back!!!
