This Restaurant is included in the category of Caribbean restaurant.
If you love Carribean this is a must try! Unique in its own way compared to Carribean food I've tried in Toronto.
An amazing little hole in the wall with great tasting Jamaican inspired food. Drinks are exceptionally tasty especially the "Undead"! The key lime pie is to die for, nothing like it in the City. Eddie and his staff ALWAYS take great care of their guests. A must see place that is always worth the wait.
Amazing experience. Great food, great service. Excellent vibes. Wonderful from the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left. We will be back again.
This place is a hidden gem. It’s absolutely amazing. My entire family loves it. We go here for all our birthdays and special occasions. Everything on the menu is fantastic. I highly recommend the ribs especially. Eddy is always so friendly, up beat, and really loves his customers.
Great food, great people, great prices! Eddie and Marcia are awesome people and so are their staff. Everytime I bring new people there they are hooked and keep going back and bringing their friends. I know the portion sizes are huge but you gotta try and save room for the key lime pie, it's phenomenal!
What the Konga Cafe lacks in modern bathrooms and upscale atmosphere it makes up in Jamaican ambiance and menu choices. I had a jerk chicken dish and my companion had a curry chicken dish. Both were accompanied by carrots and potato wedges and rice. Very tasty! Use your imagination and you are in a side street cafe in Montego Bay. Will gladly return!
Looking for Jamaica in Saskatoon.. well it's here! I love the Konga Cafe and it's 5 star rendition of being in a Jamaican Paradise but.. you are smack dab in the middle of the prairies. The food is unbelievable, the service is spot on and the vibe takes you to Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios! Probably the most adorable couple running a restaurant ever! The ownership is excellent and make sure they are involved in the customer experience every time. I highly recommend the Konga Cafe! Could I give you a recommendation of what to order? No I can't I love it all!
I had the pleasure of trying the jerk chicken, rice and peas and salad. The chicken was perfectly done, but could be more spicy. A bit overpriced for what it was, but a good food experience in Saskatoon.
My gf and I have always been interested in stopping by and today we've discovered that its amazing. Large portions, everything was cooked perfectly, and the staff are so friendly.
Always a great experience here. Love the waiter, so comical.
One of THE best places to grab a bite in saskatoon. Can't recommend enough. Steak always perfectly cooked, generously slathered in mushrooms, with very generous portion of rice and potatoes, as well as some delicious freshly cooked bread. For $20! You can't beat this place.
Has been one of my favourite places to eat but lately have been a bit disappointed. The food is still great but have been ignored for a long time upon arriving and waiting for a table. I totally understand if they need time to clear a table but I think it's best if you just acknowledge a waiting customer since you essentially have to stand right in the restaurant while waiting to be seated. I love the eclectic feel but found our last visit the walls near our table were super dirty, fruit flies buzzed around us the whole time and I couldn't help but noticed the several tables of personal clutter near the front of the restaurant. I'll be a little hesitant to go back and will probably try take out next time to avoid the dirty restaurant.
I went yesterday and Food was delicious! presentation amazing! Definitely coming back again!
Such a unique restaurant! Had the jerk chicken and drank a Funky Munky. Bath were absolutely delicious.
Had a lovely meal and this place did not disappoint. Have seen a few reviews so was excited to try it, and will definitely be back. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. 10 stars! And the key lime pie, oh my!
To start off I came here years ago and loved the place had to retry now eh daystar! Three of us came here couple weeks ago now I forgot to write a review as life is busy! But do not let that say anything about this restaurant! As it's food …
Konga cafe is incredible. I've been going to this place for almost a decade and the food/cook quality remains to be one of the most consistent I've ever seen. Just a great overall experience. Eddie is a wonderful guy and his staff is always carrying the same positive energy that he does. Definitely a place to try if you're looking for more than just great Jamaican food at a good price, this place is an experience!
Service
Once you step foot inside Konga Cafe you are on a tropical vacation without leaving Saskatoon! Very cozy and cheerful decor with welcoming service. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice & peas and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. Nice and simple, but loaded with flavour - just perfect! The key lime pie is THE best pie, full stop. I would go back there just for the pie (but while there may as well have a full meal first)!
Sooooo goood. Great rum milkshakes amazing food. Great people
We absolutely loved this place. It is our new favourite “date night” place. The waiter was hilarious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was delicious. I had the Sweetfire Pork Chops, they were quite spicy. It was a creamy sauce that had a slow heat which didn’t overpower the great taste. The chops were juice and cooked perfectly. We will be coming back here many more times!!!
If you haven’t been here you must go! The food is absolutely amazing! The key lime pie is mouthwatering, such a relaxed and fun atmosphere, definitely one of the best place in the city.
The food is always very delicious and high quality that comes in a big portions.
Our first time here and we were pleasantly suprised. Loved the local vibe. Staff very nice and fun. Food was full of flavour with hefty portions! I think we found our new favourite spot :)
I don't know how to express how much I enjoy Konga Cafe, and everybody that I know who has been absolutely loves it too! Everything about this place is special. All of the food and drinks I have ever had have been top notch. It's really great down home Carribean food. The flavour is always spot on, and everything is always cooked perfectly. The portions are generous and satisfying, like what your grandma would feed you if she thought you needed to eat more. Also, the value is great. The staff are so great-- friendly, welcoming, helpful, and truly passionate. If you're not sure what to order, they have opinions and recommendations that you're sure to love. The vibe of the restaurant is also unique and special, very homey with a clear appreciation of their customers (just go in and experience it). I'm forever baffled about how more people don't know about this hidden gem. If you haven't gone yet, GO NOW!
Both my partner and my favourite restaurant for years now. Consistently well made Carribean food.
I always love eating at konga. Eddy and his staff have a personal touch that makes you feel welcome. The food is awesome, authentic recipes straight from Jamaica. Get ready for a mouth watering delight.
Not a bad place for some caribbean-esque food! Definitely huge portions that we ended up splitting one dish. Price felt a little high but it may be because we went in for supper. Totally tasty and flavourful, very relaxed setting.
Food and service were excellent. Only downside is no kids menu and no change table. Will be back again for sure
This wonderful, family run restaurant is my favourite restaurant in Saskatoon. Over the past 6 years I have been there at least 10 times. I have tried regular menu items as well as specials. I have never been disappointed. Service is excellent and price is right. BBQ ribs and the key lime pie are amazing!
I have never been here. I had a burger. It was amazing. Well cooked, great portion, my fries were even seasoned. I can't wait to go back there again. The staff is friendly the diner itself has a great vibe. Totally recommend.
Easily my favourite restaurant in Saskatoon. Goes so much further than beyond just the food. But first, let's start with the food. Big portions, great prices, and tastes like it was cooked for you at someone's home in the Caribbean. The jerk chicken is the best item in town. I simply cannot believe how much value they provide in their prices! Second, the atmosphere is second to none. Every time I leave this place I am a happier person, and that is not just because of the food. Eddie and his team are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make your day better. They do little things that make you smile. They thrive off of bringing happiness and laughter to their customers. They make you feel at home in their space. If you have never been to Konga, you are truly missing out on a hidden gem.
Absolutely every meal is amazing and so filling! Great owner that truly enjoys his business and ensures every experience is a great experience with a fun personal touch. Must try the goat and the BBQ ribs, amazing!!

The food and hospitality is always great. I love Eddie he always looks after my grandson when he comes with us. I usually order the pork chop dish with beans and rice. Oh so yummy and big enough for a full lunch the next day. The fried bread is absolutely delicious ( I get it with honey, umm yummy) Konga Cafe is a hidden gem.
Very authentic and VERY delicious! Went there for the first time with some friends tonight and it was very good. I will definitely go back with my family and other friends. I got the Jamaican Jerk Chicken - so yummy!
This restaurant is amazing the best mahi-mahi I ever had.
The food is authentic Jamaican and portion sizes are big. Very tasty. Best key lime pie I had since going to Key West. Creole shrimp was finger licking good. Owners are very down to earth and work hard to ensure that you leave happy. There's a few parking places and it's usually pretty easy to get in and out. Definitely going back.
A very neat and humble establishment. The food is fantastic, great customer service and unique interior. Would love to come back to try more of Jamaican food!
This place has friendly service and a chill, cozy vibe. The food can be hit and miss, but perhaps I just haven’t eaten there enough to find my go-to dishes yet. On our most recent visit I had the jerk mahi mahi, which was great. It had a really nice smoky flavour to it.
The friendliest staff! Food is always delicious, and the service is probably the best I've ever had. The owner takes pride in his restaurant, and keeps everyone wanting to go back, not only for the food, but for the good laughs!
Nice Caribbean vibe to the place. Although, looked a bit clumsy in one corner. Food was great. Loved the jerk chicken and the pie.
Small family type restaurant, good taste and large portion of the dish. Very friendly services
I have heard about this place from family but never went there until tonight. The food is amazing, I left wanting more. The portions are huge and the price is excellent. The staff is friendly and engaged with my kids. Great experience and will be back over and over again.
One of the best restaurants in saskatoon. You should try
Love this place it is a must stop and eat. Eddie and the staff are amazing. Never had bad food or tough service. Always great Always friend Always can not wait to return.
One of my very favourite spots in the city! We were there celebrating with some friends and our time there was so enjoyable. Eddie (one of the owners) was very attentive, bringing us a special sauce to supplement the meal (very flavorful and VERY hot). He also did a shot with us later! He is a gem of a person and you can just tell how much he cares about his customers! A true hidden gem, this family-run restaurant excels in serving delicious, mouth-watering, and fresh Caribbean food. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff and owners will make you feel right at home in a casual and relaxed environment. From start to finish, this is a dining experience you will not forget. Starting with the overall decor and menu, you immediately see that this place is focused on light-hearted simplicity with a homey feel. The menu itself has some hilarious descriptions that are sure to make you smile. With the beverages, they really take it up a notch bring you a frosted mug for your beer - a nice touch! The Johnny Cakes (aka fry-bread) will delight your palette and whet your appetite as you prepare for your food's arrival - but that's just the beginning. The entrées - authentic and packed with flavor - are exceptional. I had the Sweetfire chicken when I was just there and it was just the right balance of flavor and incredibly juicy. In the past, I've had the jerk chicken, mahi mahi, and pork chops - all exceptional. The key lime pie was then the perfect way to end the meal. This place is a must try for anybody who likes fresh, authentic, homestyle, Caribbean food. If you haven't been here before, do yourself a favour and come on down!
Good food great service and great menu! This family run restaurant has excellent food and a great comfortable ambiance the menu although geared toward a Canadian clientele has all of the authentic Caribbean flavour that you'd expect and …
New favorite Saskatoon restaurant. I'm definitely coming back for that incredible food, island style cocktails, and friendly welcoming service. Our waitress had us laughing and smiling the whole time. I'm excited to eat my way through their menu!
Good food. Chill atmosphere. We all had the jerk chicken and all equally impressed. Large portions plus topped it off with the banana sauce with the bread prior!! Hmm plus had a dark and stormy made just right and friend had wine in a glass. Very chill but plenty tasty

It was awesome. Staff was more than happy to come out and explain and respond to any of our questions. We also tried a number of hot sauces which we started on when we received AB attic than type of bread which was delicious on its own
Amazing Jerk Chicken and the Curry Goat Special was fantastic!!
We ordered take out. The food was great but the phone etiquette of the staff member leaves a lot to be desired.

Love the Johnny cakes. Konga burger was very good. The jerk chicken is also great.

I rarely give 5 stars but this place was absolutely amazing. The staff was Uber friendly. I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic and it makes you feel welcome. This may be my new favourite Saskatoon restaurant.
Looking forward to returning. Served incredible Grace products. Friendly, efficient service with ownership that cares and goes beyond. The goat curry was life changing - looking forward to returning to Saskatoon to visit and eat at the Konga Cafe again and try out their menu. Highly recommend.
Dinner
Great service and delicious food. Dont be fooled by their closed sign on their door. They are most likely open. Inside is very cozy. The servers are really great at offering suggestions on what to eat. I have no pics because i ate the food so fast
My favorite restaurant in the city if not the world. Excellent food and drinks. I reccomend the steak and a Grog to drink.
Tastiest food in town by far! The jerk pork chops are absolutely amazing, the vegetables are always tender-crisp and sides are awesome. I recommend getting half potatoes/half rice and beans. Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. An absolute gem in Saskatoon!!
This is an incredible Jamaican restaurant with a family homey vibe. The owner is also the chef and he likes to be very social with his customers. Checking to make sure you enjoy his creatons. The key lime pie is delightful and the burgers are incredible tasty and big. Granted they make their burgers very big in Saskatoon, because that's where beef comes from. This is a great spot for locales and if your traveling through and seeking Jamiacan grub this is the place. Highly recommended!
Beer served in a chilled mug. Delicious peanut sauce. Dill salad dressing. A very smooth shooter with a jellyfish inside. Best lunch place on a hot day I know of.
First time there. Jerk chicken was very good. My wife had the burger and it was a just big chunk of ground meat (we wouldn’t get that again). Overall the food and flavours we good. Good service.
This great little Jamaican cafe is just down the street from where we live. Great food, I love their ribs with jerky sauce on them and the Goat dishes. yum. It is a funky little place, with awesome Johnny Cakes. Yes, the chef is …
