Nice and cosy place. You'll get a decent meal. There's even menu options for older people (+55) with slightly reduced prices. My New York Steak was medium as ordered but a bit too chewy. For a 19$ steak I'd expect a better meat cut. Blueberry crisps was nice.

I had the cheese and bacon stuffed burger with a side salad and its was excellent. My uncle had a steak sandwich that was slightly overcooked but still tasty and my wife had a Greek Chicken omelet that was very good. Our server was very friendly and looked after us and the prices are reasonable.

Great choices for gluten free. I had eggs Benedict with a gluten free waffle for the English muffin and sausage. Was fantastic.

We had a great dining experience. Friendly greeting when we came in, our server was awesome, I wish I'd have gotten her name. Was a pretty blonde gal who was friendly, and a great server. Both my husband and I enjoyed our food and will be back again.

My "kids" loved their waffles with fruit on top and their burgers. Their soft egg Benny's are great if you don't mind a reasonable facsimile of Hollandaise sauce. The A/C wasn't working at that time, but that is minor and hopefully fixed by now. Otherwise, I will come back sometime.

Why are they still calling one of the big breakfasts a Working MAN'S breakfast???? In our PC world working person's would be way more appropriate

Had a great croissant with eggs that was soooo fresh. However the fruit I was served tasted like it had been stored for some time and not cut up recently. Unfortunate... but our friendly and kind waitress made up for it.

Stopped in for a quick, full breakfast before our road trip back to Edmonton. The restaurant was following health services protocol with masking, distancing and sanitizing. The waitress was polite and attentive, making sure our coffee was refilled etc. We were warmly thanked for our visit. We will definitely be back when we return to Saskatoon.

Called there for a table. Female on phone said no reservations on weekends and need to go there and get placed on waiting list. Asked how long is aait time she said 15 mins. Drove there in 5. Went inside and provided name and number. Asked how lonv again fof a table. Big sign at entry point says 15 mins. I said okay will wait in vehicle for call. Sat in parking lot for 35 mins no call. Left annd got prompt service elsewhere. No call ever received about the damn table! Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

The food is fairly good. Most times it's hot. However, that place stinks. They have got to steam clean the booths and the carpets. Every time I leave there, I have to wash my clothes. Please steam clean that restaurant. Most of the servers are very kind.

Friendly and usually fast service. Anybody complaining about delays on major days such as Father's day isn't being very realistic or reasonable. Pretty extensive breakfast menu but don't expect extreme flavor or high end ingredients. We go here fairly often for brunch and enjoy our meals and the experience

Average. This place screams average. Hash browns clearly come from a bag. You get many. I asked for extra egg and toast. I got an extra egg. My table mate did not ask for extra toast yet got the same number of slices. Petty I know. Maybe they gave her extra. But my perception is that I am slighted. A big hunk of average.

The food was great as usual. The service however, not so much. After our waitress dumped an entire glass of orange juice in my hubands lap, casually apologized, she then laughed and said good thing it wasn't coffee. She couldn't even be bothered to bring him a towel or comp his meal. Unfortunately because of her crass actions we will not be returning any time soon.

The service was fantastic. It was clean. And it was empty for a reason. This is basically Denny's food (meaning the cheapest way possible to make each meal with very little meat and cheap ingredients). I mean, if that's what you're coming here for then that's fine, but I personally wouldn't choose this restaurant again.

Restaurant is very large. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. When we were there at 10am on a Saturday it was a full house and service was a bit slow, but I know that it's hard to get servers right now so it's to be expected. Would definitely eat here again and recommend it to my friends.

SO MUCH PARKING! not hugely important but so nice! the service is always attentive, polite, & friendly. i can't remember when i wasn't given a warm smile & service that was frequent without ever being TOO frequent. the food is always a treat and top of the line in presentation and taste. and if there's ever for some reason a problem? they make it right immediately at any cost. wonderful place. highly recommended.

Service was bad food was bad. For example they cooked hash browns soggy for my wife when she requested crispy. When she asked them to fix he burnt them and that is what she ended up with. There were other problems as well. I will never visit this location again. The other grainfields on 8th is great though.

A favorite for our family. Stopped in for a light breakfast - unfortunately very poor! Toast reminded me of eating buttered cardboard and the waiter reminded me a couple times he was very busy. I know their more robust breakfasts are amazing so next time I need to be a bit hungrier.

Sue is such a wonderful server! There’s a group of us that go for breakfast every Friday & she always remembers our orders. The food is always good, but her service is definitely a reason to keep coming back to this location. I don’t know if I could even say what my usual was unless Sue told me!

Service has always been very fast.... the food arrives surprisingly quick. The food had also been much less greasy than Denny's. Lots of parking. Basically, Grainfields is everything than Denny's (on Ave C) isn't.

I was not impressed with the service or the food. I ordered the new Burger that had pulled pork and a cheese burger. It came out with no condiments or any type of sauce on the burger and the pulled pork was very dry chewy and not enough sauce. My wife ordered the beef dip her beef was very dry and the bun was burnt on the side. The pancakes kids meal they where over cooked and very dark brown. The waitress only came once for water and no desert was even offered. The host was rude and did not seem to want to listen or accommodate the seating as all he kept saying was 4 to a table.... Very upset as we have a toddler and two 14 years old that we could not all sit together. I will never recommend Circle Drive and would say the 8th street at the Governor Park shopping Mall is much better.

Love this place. Food is always good, from breakfast to dinner. Coffee needs a little work, according to the fiancé. But mainly, I gave 4 stars because they never have peach iced tea. Out of the 8 consecutive times I’ve been here at various times of the day, they don’t have it. Veryy disappointing.

I am sorry but our breakfast was not that good. First off for $3 the coffee was coloured water. I had the special and toast was not toasted to have colour and half my plate was shredded potato. Hunks of potato. Just seemed to me no care was taken as a whole. We have been there in the past and drove to your restraunt from other side of city for the breakfast.

This is a new Grainfields Family Restaurant just off the Circle Drive in the northern part of Saskatoon, SK. Very nice and open with booths within an enclosure. Also they have a large room when you come in that you can reserve for large crowds for privacy like a large family group or a breakfast meeting without interrupting the whole restaurant. The food was excellent and very tasty. But what surprised me was this young waiter who served us. Four or five groups came in behind us. He had other customers seated and bringing out their food. He came up to us and explained what was going on.He took us to our tables, brought us all ice water and then brought us coffee and took our orders. Within 15 minutes we had our food and refills of coffee. The young man was overwhelmed of all the people coming in but made his plans and it went very well. He was great. Hats off to him. The food was awesome.

By far the best breakfast out I've had in YEARS. Service was punctual and polite, and COVID-19 protocols are in effect. And the food, oh my gosh the food was so good. Even better than the food was the coffee -- which is key to having a good breakfast. I will be coming back and I will be telling my friends and family. Also HUGE shoutout to Katrina for the BEST service I've had at a restaurant in forever. She was quick, attentive and super positive.

I absolutely love coming here! All of the food is delicious (love their french toast and their skillets!) and the servers are all really nice and friendly. The server I had today was an absolute delight! I could see she was busy, but she still was very friendly and brought everything out in a timely fashion! Food was okay. The eggs were cooked well, but the bacon was dripping with grease. Same with the hash browns, which is pretty unappetizing. The servers are okay, it's a hit or miss depending on who you get. The prices are decent, but make sure to come at about 11 or else you'll hit a huge lunch rush.

My husband and were here on Fri Nov 9th 2018 I ordered an omelette and he had a hot chocolate since he had already eaten lunch. The omelette was ok but my coffee was lukewarm not hot and no refill offerred till we were almost ready to leave. It was around 1:30 so most of lunch crowd was gone and they were not busy. I was disappointed in the slow service and lack of attention. This place used to be a lively busy place no matter what time of day you went there now it feels like a ghost town.

Came with a group of four shortly after 7pm. Hostess did not know the special of the day. Server introduced themselves once and returned 20 minutes later to take our orders Food arrived after 8pm. One diner's steak that was requested rare came out well done. Was sent back and came back in about ten minutes. I had the Grilled Liver and "Onions". I say "onions" because there was maybe six small pieces (under 10 grams, I'd say) of onion, half of them with the skin still on. The menu listed that bacon came with it, however received one half-strip, overcooked to hell to the point of having no taste. The only redeeming factor is that the other diners seemed to enjoy their meals somewhat, but not the slowness or sub-par customer service

My waiter was very unprofessional, and when I asked for extra napkins (as I was only initially given one) he threw them on the table from a few feet away and said nothing, then proceeded to walk away. He did not respond to myself or my mother when we would ask for a condiment or had a question and instead slightly nodded or shook his head instead. He only really spoke when he seated us and when he gave us the bill. I also ordered the french toast and it was quite good, as were my eggs. Overall, great food, not so great service.

Usually amazing but today was a total bust. Service was very lack luster. Took forever (1hr) to get out food which was not to order or hot but unfortunately our server never came by to ask how it was until the bill was brought. I hope this was a one off incident but will be reluctant to return for the time being.

Normally coming here is fine. But this time i ordered the fettuccine alfredo, and it was the most bland/flavorless dish. I wouldn't recommend it. So i asked if i could order something else. The waitress said she would grab the manager, 20 min later the greasy little manager finally shows up. Says next to nothing, and lets me order something else. By now my boyfriend has finished his food, so i just get mine to go. And there was no apology or anything. He just took my first meal off the bill. Not pleased with this experience.

Grainfiels is a great place to go with your friends or family when you’re in the mood for breakfast! My last experience we arrived around noon on a Sunday. It was as expected wildly busy however we didn’t wait long before being seated. The booth we received was spacious and the waiter was friendly and prompt. One small mishap with our order occurred where it was misplaced. It was handled extremely well by our waiter the order was re placed and we didn’t feel we waited that long for our order. AND as an added bonus they gave us half off our bill for our troubles! We loved our fresh food and got unexpected but pleasant extra time with our family! I would highly recommend!

The food was subpar. The soup wasn't very good and came out cold. The mozzarella sticks had hardly any cheese in them and the deep fried pickles didn't come with a dolly sauce which I perfer. The server was awesome and the private room made for a nice quaint little baby shower.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Arrived right around 9am and the waitress still honoured the 9am special even though it was just after 9am by that time. Sunrise Special (2 Eggs, Hasbrowns, Toast and meat) is a good deal for $6.99 before 9am. Our service was excellent! My wife is celiac and they accommodated by substituting the toast for grilled tomatoes. Coffee was refilled regularly as our server came by often.

A Saskatchewan tradition. Great menu, great staff, great casual atmosphere. All day breakfast. On weekends mornings, especially Sunday after church, it can be very busy with long wait times to get in. This says good things about this place.

Great breakfast as usual at Grainfields. We were in before 9am and had the sunrise breakfast special for $6.99. There are lots of options offered with the special toast and hashbrowns or yogurt and granola or tomatoes and cottafe cheese. I upgraded to ham and had a nice thick slice. Everything was cooked to order and the coffee kept flowing.

Very disappointed. Used to be a great place with fast service. Came with a fairly large group. We were seated right away. 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. Then an hour for food, which some of it came out cold. Part of my order was missing. Would have asked for it, but was too worried it would take another 20-30 minutes. Not sure if we will ever be back.

This is one of our favorite places to stop. The crepes are amazing and it's one of the few places we order pancakes that come close to matching the fluffy tenderness we can make at home. I personally love all the eggs Benedict variations. Fast friendly service even when its busy.
