Very noisy, was hoping for a nice romantic evening, Couldn't even hear my partner from across the table. Steak was cold, and they took it back to reheat it. Both of our steaks were not good cuts of meat. Could buy better from our local butch shop. Lobster tail was very tough. Bathroom wasn't even in the resturant, hand to go down a hall way in the hotel area. Over charged for their meals that is not anything special. They didn't even give us a discount for the cold steak either. That will be the first and last time going to carvers.

Service is excellent. I usually get medium rear filet mignon and it is absolutely delicious. You won’t be disappointed! I only had one bad experience here. Once we ordered see food appetizers and my husband got sick right after. We ordered a plate of crab, prawns, oyster and scallops to share and my husband was the only one that got sick ( we were a group of 6). Except for that, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere every single time.

Delicious! Quiet atmosphere, the waitresses were very professional and pleasant. Great place to have a high quality romantic meal. Highly recommend the filet mignon with the truffle mushroom butter!

The ambiance and service was fantastic, while the cut of beef was average. All of the staff we dealt with were exceptional in their hospitality which really made the evening - they best I've had in Saskatoon. While the food was definitely good, the steaks used were not the best choices for what was ordered (i.e. not cut thick enough for my taste). That said, because the service was so wonderful, I'd be happy to go back again.

The patio was fantastic! Nice, clean, great view and warm in the evening. The sangria was tasty & reasonably priced, and the tuna poke bowl was fresh, filling and tasty. Good place for a relaxed meal and larger group.

First, let’s talk about the meal: Ribeye was good, I’d say almost 4 stars. Scallops were okay. The restaurant appeared to be clean and had a nice ambiance. My top-shelf martini was not good - it was not made to my request. On a different visit my friend had the same problem with her martini at the Sheraton’s sister restaurant Scarlet. Maybe they just don’t make good ones at that bar, as I imagine the one bar serves both restaurants in the hotel. My husband had a delicious cocktail. We had reservations and were sat at a nice booth. Unfortunately, there were a bunch of (loud) people in at the same time as us having a business meet-and-greet. I didn’t want to hear their conversation but it was impossible not to. The restaurant does their best to follow covid protocols, but there were members of this group standing up and socializing without their masks on. I really wanted to just finish my meal and get out of there! It was so disappointing, considering that I went there for my birthday meal, my husband booked a reservation stating as such. Why didn’t they put us elsewhere? Had we not already placed our order, I would have finished my drink and suggested we go elsewhere. Needless to say, we did not stay for dessert. I left not feeling great about my experience.

First time there and very disappointed. Won't return. Went with friends to enjoy a night out and was surrounded with 3 tables of loud drinks. So loud in fact the waitress was yelling the specials and we couldn't hear her. Unbelievable. Ordered Fries with my beef expecting a decent fry for a high end restaurant. They were worse than frozen package fries.

First off, service was IMPECCABLE! Our every request and every need was tended to. Wine list was amazing, top shelf liquor assortment was great and the food was AMAZING! Our party had steak, chicken & seabass - all cooked to perfection! The sides (truffle mac & cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts) were amazing! beautiful

Best service ever the food was great but the steak wasn’t cut thick enough for the excellent name they have!!!! I will go back there again for sure hoping next time my steak will be cut (—,—) chubbier lol

My wife and I have been coming here every so often to celebrate our wedding anniversary since we moved to Saskatoon 20 years ago. We've experienced wonderful food and service. Unfortunately, this last visit on August 29th was disappointing. The food was good but unfortunately the waitress failed to inform us of the recent change in the menu regarding the side dish - in particular the Wild Boar that was supposed to be accompanied with a side of leak tart. Usually the server informs of changes to the menu but in this case nothing was said. The waitress blew it off and no apologies or substitutes were given Surprising for a restaurant that prides itself of fine dining. We will not be coming here anytime soon.

Fantastic Service and accommodates gluten free! I got the NY steak, which was perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes came with a yummy subtle gravy and the veggies were crunchy. My only complaint was it could have been served hotter.

Great atmosphere, delicious beignet! I enjoyed a leek creme salmon with root vegetables. Not many veggies, but the salmon was to murder for. The servers know their menu, and they like Hungarian wine. Bathrooms are in the hotel lobby though ????. 5/Yum

The food was good (at least what what was actually available listed on the menu). Leek tart wasn't available with my wild boar dish, a certain dessert wasn't available and wasn't informed until what I could say was a 10 minute wait just to hear it wasn't available. I wasn't asked if I wanted another beer with my meal. Also service was very slow...and our leftovers weren't given to us before we left (small annoyance) lol More cons than pros on our dinner unfortunately...

The dishes are a bit pricey but worth it. I had the braised short ribs and it was more than enough, I ordered the brussel sprouts as a side dish and couldn't finish them. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The waitresses were very friendly and very pleasant to talk to.

1st time in carver's last night. It didint disappoint. Fine dining experience from start to finish. The decor is beautiful and the food was very good. Staff are attentive and friendly. I will definitely take another trip soon.

Delicious! We weren't able to make a reservation on Thursday for a Saturday sitting, but managed to snag a walk in table by showing up right at 5 pm. Extensive wine and scotch menu, but also 3 mocktails to try. I had the pomegranate juice one with blueberries - tasty and refreshing. Fresh sourdough buns were served while we checked the menu (but we knew what we wanted by checking the menu online ahead of time). Chicken livers to start were cooked perfectly in a yummy sauce I've never had before. I selected the Carver's classic filet mignon and the caesar salad first course was almost a meal in itself! I prefer my steaks rare and it was perfectly cooked. The sweet red wine and shallot sauce was delightful and complemented my steak. Whipped potatoes on the side were seasoned, but I would have preferred a gravy with them. Perhaps the twice baked potato would have been a better choice, bit the portions were large and I couldn't finish the potatoes and cooked green beans (which tasted garden fresh) anyway. Definitely recommend coming here for your next fancy dinner out. The service team makes everyone feel at home, familiar, and like a special guest all at once. Unfortunately, I neglected to take photos this visit.

The service was best my wife and i have ever revieved. The waiter and his trainee were on top of everything. From food, drink questions to the service we recieved everying was beyond what we expexted. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the drink and food he served. We are sorry we cant remember his name but he highly recommend this place.

Wonderfully intimate atmosphere and service. I was a little disappointed they had reduced their number of food options prepared tableside, but the quality of food and general enjoyment of the restaurant more than made up for this.

Absolutely amazing food with equally impressive service. The steak is legendary and they know how to cook it properly. The service staff know the menu well and are able to provide suggestions based on interests. The price does reflect the quality of the food so be prepared to pay the experience.

The good was great and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable. They carry a selection of wines and spirits you won't find any other place. I strongly suggest Macallans 18 year scotch.

Just had a meal at Carvers with my husband. Fairly disappointed. First off, had real difficulty reading the menu because of the low light. Ordered the scallops and tortellini - too bad it was cold by the time it arrived. Caesar salad had dressing sporadically placed on some of the lettuce. My husband had prime rib and while he said it was good, he said it would have been better if it was at least warm. Finally, ordered a drink (refill) while I still had food and had to remind the waitress 30 minutes later that it still had not arrived. Sweet girl but HORRIBLE service!! Won't waste my money here again.

Evening started off by being greeted at the door by a young man named LANDON, very very charming. Everything was perfect, the lighting, dark walls, red of the room, service and music. Tried steak and lobster, prawn appetizer, biggest shrimp ever, French onion soup We were able to bring in our own wedding cake, which they gladly served .

Went here for my first time with my 2 boys. Had the scallops for an appetizer which were melt in your mouth delicious. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare and came as ordered and was oh so tender. Veggies cooked just right and the mashed potatoes has excellent flavor. Too full to try dessert, but it sure looked good at our neighbours table.

Steaks where cooked to temp perfectly & nice cuts. The dessert was a delight, and I would recommend the beignets for something fun. The experience however wasn't perfect, hence the 3 stars. Scallops could have been cooked less and the risotto could have used salt. The Old fashion and its black berry counterpart felt alittle sweet. The whole menu and restaurant felt shackled to the steakhouse formula and has unfortunately done so to its detriment.

Beignets are a must get from here. Was a little sad my chicken was a little dry, cocktails were limited, but next time will definitely be requesting dauphinois potatoes! The Prix Fix was a killer deal but felt wasteful with the ginormous salad portion. Super quick and friendly service!
