Trendy decor. Beautiful and flavorful food. Young and classy. A place to eat for a special occasion or to take someone you want to impress. Maybe a little loud if you're seated near the open kitchen, but many diners like the open kitchen concept, myself included. It adds interest to my dining experience. As a party of two, we had a Tempura Prawn appetizer followed by Beef Wellington and the Tenderloin. All were perfectly cooked, flavorful and tender. Dinner was so good that we decided to risk the excess and have dessert too. The creme caramel did not disappoint. Avenue lost one star in my rating because of the rude young male host at the doorway. He was smug, snobbish and unhelpful, giving the impression we were somehow beneath him. Our first impression at the door was really poor, but all was perfect after that. So glad we didn't just walk out.

Jeanine Jensen

Excellent service and food! I was very pleased the restaurant staff was so accommodating of kids/babies. While I wasn't in need of a ride home, our server asked us if we required a cab and offered to call for one.

Emma Schultz

I was wandering around downtown last night not content to eat at the hotel restaurant and stumbled on Avenue. I travel for work and have eaten at some pretty great restaurants across the country and I was really impressed. I’m no critic so I’m not going to go on about balance of flavours blah blah blah. However, I will tell you that their veggie burger - complete with home made bun - is one of the best f$?king things I have ever eaten! Great space, great service, great food.

James Bennett

Classy, yet casual atmosphere with modern decor. The food is always perfectly cooked, and the flavour profiles and cocktails are excellent.

Asian-inspired cuisine is interesting here. Very friendly staff just like other restaurants by Dale Mackay and his friends.

Graham Haas

Fantastic beginning to end. Great food, good cocktails and awesome service. Well done!!!

Gabriela Logan

Salty Dry! I had high expectations for Avenue, but I was disappointed when my sausage arrive extremely salty. I let the waitress know, but all she did was smile and grab my plate and walk away. On top of that it was expensive. I hope they remove the sausage from the menu, or maybe rename it to Salty sausage.

Amazing food and service!

Delicious and innovative drink menu

Wonderful food, atmosphere and staff. Excellent and creative cocktail menu. Tad pricey but quality and service are more than commensurate.

We shared 5 plates and loved every single one of them. Make sure you try the duck and the castle in the sky cocktail!

Went here to celebrate my birthday. Food was amazing, bf and I both agreed it was some of the best we ever had. Definitely pricy, but 110% worth it. Server was amazingly friendly and super knowledgeable.

Tania Jones

Delicious food! So impressed! Our server was amazing and informative!

I make a point of going to all of the Grassroots restaurants and this one is just as good as the ones in Saskatoon. The Thai wings are amazing!!

Dana K

We came here for dinner and were immediately and enthusiastically greeted by one of the nicest hosts we have every come across. She brought us to our table and made very good drink and food recommendations. We both ordered some cocktails and the beef wellington. The no news is good news was a superb cocktail with mezcal smoke and lemon acidity. The beef wellington was a great comfort dish with very tender and juicy tenderloin and a buttery crust. The asparagus it was served with was also perfect with a nice sauce. The service could not improove as everyone that took care of us were amazing. As for the atmosphere, is was very loud and echoy, some sound tiles would deffinately help, also the pricing was a tad on the high end. Overall apleasant dinner and drinks and we would return if in town.

Avenue is a go to restaurant in Regina, from date nights to business lunches. Always good, service is great, and so are the cocktails!

Aaron Myers

Food was ok. I did see the bartender refilling a bottle with grocery store bought lime juice though. Apparently the real fruit is just for garnishes? I was brought here to be blown away by the cocktails.....

Campbell Haliburton

Nothing special about this place. Waited for almost two hours for our food, and when you compare prices to other restaurants downtown, what you're paying for your money isn't worth it at this place - it's all marketing.

Sara N. Robertson

Our experience was above our already high expectations! After our experience last year at Ayden in Saskatoon, we did not think we could ever top our favorite restaurant. Well it did! Ayden is still amazing but the Staff, the drinks and the food were absolutely top notch and delicious. Food we normally dont like was delicious and food we thought we already loved made us realize that we didn't even know what good was. Absolutely knocked it out of the park. Thank you for a perfect evening for my wife's birthday! Cheers!

This place is phenomenal. The staff is so attentive and accommodating despite the fast pace. They are knowledgeable and able to help. The food was delectable. It was hard to choose a favorite as every item we ate was perfectly thought out and full of flavour. A must visit for anyone passing through or calls Regina home.

Nicholas Fleming

Good service, friendly staff, quick service. But the food left me underwhelmed. It was cold, under cooked and tasteless, fries were good though. I’m used to authentic food with more flavour; their take just misses the mark.

D K

Beef Wellington is amazing. Apps were so good. The whole experience from servers to food was top shelf. One of my favorites in Regina without a doubt.

Doug Lawrence

Big fan! It’s got a New York City vibe, with high ceilings, modern decor and an ambiance that oozes upscale yet chill. Food selection was superb, with lots of meat dishes but some vegetarian choices. Priced appropriately, and well worth the value and quality of the food. The detail in the preparation was amazing, all the dishes (from chicken wings to trout) were bursting with flavours that left me wanting to try many more menu items!

Karen Waldner

Tremendous! That's all I have to say. Food, drinks, and service all top shelf. Gordon was fantastic.

Ben

The food was just phenomenal! The drinks spectacular! The service was so friendly and amazing. The atmosphere was so fresh and unique. The layout, the decor...I even loved all the plants! What a wonderful experience!

Andrew Hibbin

Chic, new and modern upscale restaurant. Food was of the highest order. Service was pretty good too. Highly recommended.

Rae Cobb

Food was perfect! I had a beet salad that was beyond flavorful and the perfect amount of food. Dessert was so rich and smooth it melted in my mouth! The service was perfect and professional with food arriving fairly quick. I can't wait to come back for another date with my hubby.

Tiffie Sou

Great to have a restaurant like this in Regina. High quality, unique food and drink in the downtown was definitely a need for the city. Great stop for lunch too.

Cam Reynolds

Really nice service and food, make sure you make a reservation beforehand because it's usually pretty busy. Would be nice if menu had a bit more options but overall really good

Robert Wolf

Avenue is what Regina's food scene needed. Most higher end restaurants in Regina are steakhouses or franchises with no personality. Avenues checks most of my boxes for a good restaurant. Tasty food, great service, amazing venue, good location and fair prices. Although I loved the old open concept design, but the new partitions make sense and they give an intimate feel to the place. You should give Avenue at least one try.

Greg Lawrence

Fantastic beef wellington with a great atmosphere and a whisky sour to die for. Excellent meal and time all around

Adeel Sarwar

I had the scallops & trout. Amazing meal experience. Everyone in my party of four enjoyed themselves. We will return...

Ashley Josephson

Great food, great service, great cocktails, poor acoustics. I felt like I had to shout for people to hear me. I ended up getting quite talented at reading lips by the end of the night.

Donny Anderson

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, similar in price to the keg or some of the other fancier restaurants. Try the beef Wellington, SO GOOD

Kevin Hayes

Food and atmosphere has a swanky big city feel but I still get treated like I'm in a diner - warm, friendly, always inviting. Try their chicken wings as an appetizer. You will not be disappointed.

Dean Andrew Parker

The food was really good, but the portions were pretty small.

cara Jia

A perfect mix of excellent craft cocktails, a well selected menu (which includes a perogy dish!) and hip atmosphere. Ordered the ‘New Fashioned’ at the bar and the bar service was excellent. Moved to the dining room and ordered the agnolotti which was perfectly executed, a good portion (not too much!), perfectly al dente, and very flavourful. Finished with the meringue lemon tart which was delicious. The service was fantastic and the place was packed on a Wednesday, great lovely atmosphere.

Justin Reves

I have been to Avenue 3 times since they opened. We have tried a few items from their menu & it was ABSOLUTELY Delicious! Service was fantastic, great ambiance & insanely delicious food. I will be their loyal customer. Great job!

Jason Szarkowicz

Food was tasty and unique, though more expensive as it is more upscale. I love how they've changed the space into a more welcoming environment from what it was before. I wish I understood they designers choices because the theme/inspiration is confusing, but very classy looking.

Claire Hanna

Visiting Regina from Edmonton and were invited out to dinner by old friends. We have a 2 year old toddler and we were a little worried that maybe this wasn't the best place to take her. All I can say is the staff was incredible and made our experience one of the best we've had at any restaurant. Our server asked the food preferences for our daughter and created a custom dish just for her! The cocktails are well thought out and the sharables very delicious. Highly recommend for any occasion. Thanks to the staff for going the extra mile to make this such a great experience!

Jeff Gill

Great appetizers and excellent beef Wellington. Service was also outstanding!

Daniel Johnson

Spectacular food! always worth the stop, if you can get in the door. Enjoyed the atmosphere, service was great. Full transparency, a friend of mine is a chef here, but, their food speaks for itself. I had the walleye, as I said spectacular. The shrimp appy was good too, beer battered, nice and crisp, fluffy on the inside. Dessert wise, I really enjoyed the creme caramel.

Tanya Shattuck

In house ground hamburger is a huge bonus. Unfortunately they ruined it with a “stick to the roof of your mouth” piece of processed cheese. Too bad...

Stephanie Bear

Fun and welcoming staff offering creative and fantastically tasting cocktails. And that's just a prelude to the food that delights, sometimes with a different burst of flavour or slightly different texture with each bite. Finish it off with the rich, creamy, and salty creme caramel and you'll be heading home with a big smile on your face!

It’s hard to describe this restaurant as nothing short of excellence. Walking into this Mid Century Modern, meets Historic Regina atmosphere was exactly what this city needed. We chose to sit at the bar for a few reasons: one we didn’t have a reservation (We will now try to do so moving forward, most major cities and top restaurants function in this way and I have no issue adapting to this), and also the Head Chef and Sous-Chefs prepare everything right in front of the bar, so it had significant entertainment value. Ambiance from lighting, to seating, to napkins, and glasses was a 10/10. Now food, we chose to start with the fresh homemade goat cheese and tempera prawns, both unique in their own way, but again excellent. My partner decided to go with the Beef Wellington, he described this dish as astonishing, the meat was cooked to perfection, and melted in his mouth, and the side was paired perfectly, he is also 6’2” and can eat a lot, he left feeling more then satisfied. I chose to have their version of a Caesar salad, and it simply blew my mind. I immediately noticed the crispness of the kale and the buttery after taste, the dressing was exactly how Caesar dressing should be, fresh and strong, all the added vegetables complimented the dish perfectly and I can’t recommend it enough. Now the cocktails, I think it is super important to rate this separately as it is in a class of its own. I feel like this art is highly missed when it comes to restaurant reviews and it needs to be talked about. We both started with the 87’ Carat Gold, beautifully created, and every ingredient complimented each other, it was so smooth, and we were both in shock about how incredible it actually tasted. My partner paired his meal with a local Radler which was very pleasant to still see in a restaurant of this nature. I enjoyed my meal with the Mint Condition – their version of a watermelon mojito with gin, from the frozen perfectly cubed watermelon, to the crystal glass, it was beyond satisfying. It was also the perfect drink (when finished) to then top with their sparkling water, I could not let those watermelon cubes go to waste! We left feeling full, satisfied, and simply up lifted. I personally think the prices are reasonable and if anything could even go up, they are using high-quality local ingredients and the uniqueness is there. Walk into this place knowing you are going to get excellent service, food and drinks, but also walk into this place and really step back and appreciate the creativeness, art, time, and dedication that the entire Avenue team has committed too. We can’t wait to go back, we are so grateful we finally have a dining experience like this in Regina, it will be our go to for quick after work cocktails, for business meetings and date night. Simply enjoy.

Great food and awesome service! Made me feel like a VIP for my birthday.

One of our favorite places for lunch. Nice ambiance. Good service and food. Walleye and parogis are a great dish to go for!!

Jasmine Patterson

Great food & great service. Definitely worth checking out. The tar tar and beef wellington are my favs. Reccomend for sure.

Jolisa Filson

A little bit of disappointment when the food wasn’t hit my high expectations. Instead, I think I'll still go back to Ayden’s kitchen in Saskatoon. Also, the restaurant is kind of crowded with too many tables in a small space.

Karl Andres

Great effort is put into atmosphere, food and drinks. This place has some of the tastiest dishes in town. Attention to detail is high and menu is fun. It is a bit pricey but any food of this calibre is. Worth every penny.

Jordan “jordantrizz” Arthur

Wow. The "share" plates and the "small" are so amazing. We ordered 6 of these and skipped the "main" entries. The taste variety was incredible. Perfect order for a romantic dinner.

Leonardo Barbieri

While it's not inexpensive, it's the best food in the city IMHO. Definitely need to go here if you want something fresh, different, and really tasty. The cocktails are unbeatable, too.

Yvan Fortier

Went for a couple of drinks and the Bar tenders really know their craft. Original cocktails. Very friendly staff.

Kashlee Kucheran

Fun, trendy place with awesome food fusions and entertaining mixology. We did the table side cocktails and so glad we did because it was interactive …

Avenue is a popular and busy place, downtown in an older building. The room’s surfaces are all “hard”, so noise is an issue, but not that bad even for our large crowd of seniors. Service was pretty good, though those of us at the end of the table away from the wine bottles were rather neglected by the servers until we waved our glasses. The menu choices and the cooking was very good. Excellent steak tartare and delicious fried asparagus with Parmesan were two of the starters. For mains, a perfect plate of walleye (they know how to cook fish) and very good butternut risotto, though the amaretti topping was a bit “over the top”. The pierogies were a bit bland, though with a tasty sauce. The eclectic wine list was surprisingly short on Canadian. The espresso was excellent. Not perfect overall, but very good - and to be sampled again!

Shruthi Sumanth

Everthing was amazing! From start to finish. Friendly, happy, knowledgeable staff, good atmosphere. Great cocktails menu! An adventure of tastes. Food was freaking amazing , everthing so tasty and looked nice! I could go on. Definitely 5 stars!

Matthew Verlysdonk

Awesome food. The Prime Rib Burger us the best!! What a great lunch special! Restaurant is small un size but big on taste.

mark wilson

Awesome food. Awesome drinks. Accommodating for dietary restrictions and preferences.

Amber Alina

Best food in Regina, great service as well. Portions could be a little bigger but worth every penny

Derek Frostad

They turned a beautiful room into a great restaurant. Service and food were terrific. Highly recommend the pork belly appetizer and the agnolotti although everyone's food was excellent. Definitely going back.

James Aho

Interesting menu, well executed. About as upscale as Regina gets. Cocktail menu is well thought out. Service was good. The whole experience was good, but we had heard so much hype that perhaps the anticipation had trouble living up to reality.

Laura Kotzer

Nice place, good service, for supper had 2 beef wellingtons one with risotto one with smoked mushrooms, both side dishes had wayyy to much salt for our liking. The Wellington was very good but the portion sizing was small for what your paying, our bill for 2 drinks 2 wellington and side dishes came out to 170$ pre tip, If i didnt walk out hungry and with high blood pressure i would give it more stars

Robin Blazeiko

Amazing! We sat at the counter to watch the Chefs! The service was excellent and the food was so good. Definitely going back again as soon as possible. I highly recommend Avenue Restaurant to anyone. Thank you for the fantastic lunch.

Dave Nagy

We were very impressed. Our anniversary supper was cooked to perfection. They presented us with desert for our anniversary which was perfect to cap off the evening

Marcos Lopez

"Disappointed" would be an understatement. I had been wanting to go to Avenue for a while now and was excited to try the food there. After booking the reservation we were informed that there would be an 18% gratuity added to our bills. I am fine with tipping, and I'm fine with an 18% tip if the service is actually worth it. In this case, it was not. Numerous times our table wondered where our server was as she had not been around in a long time. Our server also ID'd our table and said "I could go ask at the front door but I'm just too lazy". I don't mind having to show proof of vaccination at the door as well as my ID to get drinks, I just don't want to hear that come out of my server's mouth. With a forced 18% tip, I don't expect the royal treatment but I do expect at least average service. The drinks and the starter were very good. If I would have had to guess, I would have assumed our meals would be just as good. I would be wrong. The food was very bland and not to my expectations of what a nice restaurant would serve. Out of our party of six, one person who ordered the steak liked their meal. With a limited menu, I would think that they would have perfected each dish and it wouldn't matter what you ordered, your meal would be good. In fact, it would be more difficult to find an entrée that was properly made on their menu.

Luc Klassen

Loved this spot for lunch!

Merissa Scarlett

The food and drinks were perfect!

Leah O'Malley

Food quality was incredible, service was over and beyond expectation. Highly recommend trying their appetizers!! All around a classy restaurant with knowledgeable staff, amazing first experience, if you enjoy a social atmosphere I highly recommend sitting at their bar, my boyfriend and I had a fantastic dinner here!

Brittany Haughey

Great atmosphere, the food & cocktails were fantastic, and the service was excellent. While it's hard to pick favorites from the menu, the tuna tataki was surprising in the best possible way. The cocktails were incredible in presentation & flavour. The feature cocktail was creative with fennel & executed perfectly. Thanks for a great night- will definitely be back!

William Stock

It's a really nicely decorated restaurant in the heart of downtown. We had the feature cocktail, a coin toss, maybe the best restaurant cocktail I've had! Charcuterie board was excellent. I had the scallops and my date had the beef tartare. Both were excellent and about perfectly seasoned (and cooked in the case of the scallops). Desserts were terrific. Citrus tart and cream caramel. Issac, our server was friendly and very efficient. 100% recommend, we'll be back for sure.

Curtus Collins

Arguably Regina’s best restaurant. Food quality is incredible. Service is second to none and the atmosphere is wonderful. All around; classy place!

Kent dePeuter

Was in Regina for business and heard this was the place to go. Ordered goat cheese fries and pork and beans dumpling? They were ok. Entree we ordered trout and trout gravlax? EXCELLENT! We watch chef and team prepare and they def create work of art...right down to plating. I will def go back next time i visit! A little pricey - you get what you pay for....so def worth it!

Jane Klassen

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! This is what restaurant food should taste like. I was pleasantly surprised by the local ingredients used. Plus, staff is welcoming, friendly and thoughtful. Modern and cozy interior. Literally the best food experience in Canada I've ever had.

Amanda machuk

We came yesterday, the chicken wings are perfect; however, the fries are really disappointed some were over cooked, which haven’t happened in the past. The stick was little bit undercooked, we ordered more than mid-well and less than well done, but it just around mid-well. Moreover, after I finish the stick, I felt uncomfortable while I back home. Hope next time will not be this disappointed.

Tara Rodrigues

Traveling all over North America, regularly dining in finer restaurants, and occasionally in Michelin-star recipient venues, I was excited to see Regina finally having a 'nicer' restaurant open. I've been to Avenue four times, and the atmosphere, service, and cocktails are all great. The tempura asparagus is one of the best appetizers I've had anywhere, and I can honestly say that the Creme de Caramel is THE best dessert that I've ever tasted, with a brilliant blend of saltiness, sweet, rich cream, and smoky nuttiness. Avenue's cocktails are also very well-crafted, with a few being magnificent. However, the last two times I dined here, my ribeye was significantly under-cooked. I absolutely know how steaks are to be prepared from the standard choices, and mine were close to blue rare from the standard of medium rare. The first time I ordered the ribeye, I sent it back, it returned well done, and just finished my meal and left. The second time, I didn't bother mentioning it and just ate it blue rare. Obviously, this is completely unacceptable for a finer restaurant, but even more egregious than this was the fact that, on my second tripe, the steak was ridiculously over-seasoned. I'm a guy who likes things on the salty side, but my last steak probably was - no exaggeration here - waaay saltier than McDonald's fries. I could, quite literally, only taste salt. It's just crazy that this type of absolute-amateur mistake could happen in a meal that cost me $500 (four people with a few drinks). As much as I love some aspects of Avenue, I can't justify spending several hundred dollars on dinners that I walk away from being completely disappointed. I'll have to go back to my 'nicer' meals being on my trips to the larger Canadian and US cities.

Austin Lustig

Sorry my last review had a spelling error In it but when I walk by at 5pm and you aren't open and walk by again at 11pm and your doors are closed. On a Saturday on folk fest weekend. Aren't open for anything. And the last time I was there I was ignored for wine night. Don't waste your time with this place.

Alex Prince

Had beef wellington, medium rare, and it was perfect. Then I had a drink that I asked the bartender to make with absinthe, and honestly, it tasted like a dream, with a cherry on the bottom. Perfection!

TheRaven

The best place to eat in Regina, hands down. Amazing cocktails and great ambience.

Cheyanne Atchison

I was here with a party of about 17. We really enjoyed our meal at Avenue Restaurant. At my area of the table we had 3 appetizers which were very yummy: lime chicken wings, sausage platter, and brie dip. My meal was also very good, I had the tagliatelle pasta entree. The service was good, not exceptional, but good. The prices were very reasonable for this type of establishment. I would definitely eat here again.

Terri Pavia

We sat at the bar, and WOW. We asked the bartenders to make their favorite drinks and took their recommendations. It did not disappoint. My sisters and I (party of 3) ordered 5 cocktails each, beef tartare (x3) and the Brie to share. We …

Sarah Le Doux

I was underwhelmed by the food, but the service and decor were amazing. I had the cauliflower kale salad and the pork belly bites. Both had flavour profiles that were a bit off and left you wanting. I would go again though, to try something new. My friend loved his walleye dish.

Almir Dahl

Amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing service. Seriously had the best time and would recommend to anyone in area. Big thanks to Jenna for taking care of us, I look forward to returning!

Donna Prince

Had a fantastic time with my family here. Staff is alert and friendly. The place has a super clean atmosphere and the food was amazing. Will definitely recommend this place in the future. Keep in mind the price though ($$$$).

Mack Cameron

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Avenue last night, and it was wonderful! The atmosphere, food, wine selection and service were all top notch. Would definitely recommend!

Rayanne Lee

Absolutely love Avenue, and make a point in going here at least once whenever I'm in town. The food is always amazing, and the house cocktails are a must!

Alexander Wong

OK. If Regina has a top drawer restaurant, this is it. Seriously. What a wonderful time we had, just four of us, with an amazing young server named Jordan. He was all the right stuff, attentive, funny, conversational and he even re-folded our napkins if we left the table. We shared a variety of small plates - all of them excellent. Jordan had the kitchen stage the plates so we could have a leisurely meal and visit without everything pouring out of the kitchen at the same time. Everything about Avenue is indeed top drawer. The atmosphere, the decor, the service and the food and drink were all exceptionally good. Five stars aren't enough.

Robin Chow

The food exceeded expectations! ???????? Extremely delicious!! Great environment and service. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Jonathan Cober

Wow. I have so many amazing things to say about this restaurant. We ordered the trout, rotisserie chicken, and pasta. The combination of flavours, textures, and presentation of the foods were phenomenal. The cocktails are to die for. The decor and atmosphere were great too. Quick service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place! Thank you for the great night, Avenue!

Tiff

Great food and awesome bar service ????

Tegan Scott

Fabulous, inventive cocktails. Andrew behind the bar was a delight. Beef prepared perfectly; delicious agnolotti. Highly recommended.

Brett Spencer

Our family went to celebrate a birthday and everyone was amazed by the food! Had the best pasta I've had in the city!

Sommer Amare

This place was awesome. Has the chicken and it was absolutely amazing. When it came to the table they added the Demi glaze. I would also recommend the corn on the Cobb. It was fantastic. Definitely try when you are here. :)

Samantha Lightfoot

Excellent, personalized service. Excellent food. Loud and energetic ambiance - less a quiet retreat, more a burbling launching point for an evening.

Matthew Cooke

This is a great place for a fine meal in Regina. The service was phenomenal the meal was excellent and the atmosphere was ideal for me. For those who do not like a noisy restaurant it may not be your thing, but we like the atmosphere and it seemed like a fun place for everyone. We sat a bit too close to the cooking area, so if you don't want to smell a bit like food, just ask to be on the other side of the bar.

Lucy yi

Wow. Foodies have arrived in Regina, and they have opened this restaurant. I love Ayden in Saskatoon so I had similar expectations. Because I was dining by myself I sat at the cocktail bar and watched the bartending magic. It was glorious. I ordered the tempura prawns for $14 11 pieces which is quite substantial. Also got the Ceaser Salad $15 which is considered a small plate but plenty for one person. Came with kale, capers, roasted cauliflower, onions, cheese and crispy pancetta. Delishness! So glad to have this place open as flip was my go to when traveling into town and it was disappointing to see it close. Highly recommended Avenue!

Sean Anderson

Excellent service and great atmosphere! Cocktails were fantastic and food was prompt. Really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and duck. Thanks to Brad for making our experience memorable.

Sandra Sandra

I got the lamb sausage with chickpeas and it was delicious. Initially nothing on the menu really appealed to me, but I was very happy with my meal and so was everyone else in my group. Also had the madeleines for desert. Overall the meal exceeded my expectations.

Drew

Although our first visit was a little rocky, the manager contacted us and invited us back. The food and service was awesome, and I really appreciate the restaurant reaching out to us. I would definitely eat there again and highly recommend visit Avenue as it was a really enjoyable evening and the food was delicious. Thanks again!

Jodi Holliday

A bit pricey, but the food is very good. They also have very interesting dishes and cocktails.

Charles Hobbs

Everything was excellent, but if we had to highlight something is the service. Friendly and very dedicated staff

Doreen Wheatley

Great location. Food was great, cocktails were as well. Service was excellent. Only thing is that it can get loud.

David Tratch

Busy place on a Tuesday night in Regina? It must be good. Had the Brie appy with scallops for supper.. Very tasty meal.

Perry Kerney

Absolutely awesome food, and an amazing drink menu. Fairly fancy, but low key enough to hit both markets. Would be a great place for a date night!

Kateryna Kharchenko

Finally Regina have a place like this. Like the atmosphere and drinks.

Chase S

Great vibe and excellent drink selection. The trout is unreal, no doubt it's one of the best in Canada.

Blair

Amazing food and beer selection. Wish we had more time to try out other food items. Tried the beet salad, pierogies and pork belly pressed sushi. All great.

David Pattyson

Very good food and service. Prices reflect the above standard quality.

Lyle Pitzel

Excellent execution on a straightforward menu. Attentive, friendly service in a great room.

Han-Up Park

Had a great dinner for my anniversary. Food is always on par here and the service is great.

Sandra Miller

We went to Avenue last evening with a work colleague and had high expectations. We've been to Ayden on multiple occasions and generally always had excellent meals and experiences there. There's a lot of hype around Avenue and we were excited to give it a try. We weren't very impressed. The old Malt City room has been broken down into sections and it felt a bit cramped but still quite spacious. It was hopping for a Thursday night and most of the seats were full, impressive for a downtown Regina restaurant on a nice weekday evening, even more so because the Riders were playing. We started with some appetizers. The tempura prawns were basically just cocktail shrimp fried in batter with an aioli unappealing plopped onto the plate. Not great and really unimpressive presentation. The fig and goat cheese platter was tasty but disappointingly they only gave us two pieces of bread. We had to ask for more bread to finish the platter. Chicken wings were over salted but tasty. The entrees were equally unimpressive. I had the rib eye, which was done reasonably well but wasn't substantive. Multiple steakhouses in town including the Diplomat do a much better job with the meat. Fries were ridiculously over salted to the point where my partner had to send them back. My other two dining companions ordered the truffle burger and again, it was way too salty. My wife ordered hers medium-rare and it wasn't even close to being done right the first time with literally no moisture left in the burger. They tried to graciously apologize and got it right the second time, but it was almost comedic to a degree how the same two people apologized to her like five times. If you want to apologize, just do it once, get it right, and take it off the bill if you want to be really nice. Desserts were just OK. The raspberry souffle was tasty but again, poorly presented. For a restaurant claiming to be among the province's best, I found the effort with presenting the food to be completely lacking and disappointing. Lastly, we had a bit of wine left and it had been sitting in a bucket of ice. Our server actually put it in a paper bag of all things, and it soaked through the bottom of the bag on the walk back to our car and the bottle dropped onto the sidewalk and shattered because I was just holding the bag itself. We were mortified. All in all, for $300 + tip, can't say that we will be back anytime soon. Maybe we just experienced an off night compared to everyone else.

The duck was delicious! Great atmosphere. The waitress seemed a little inexperienced and needed assistance from several staff members even though it wasn't busy.

Avenue is our go-to place for celebrations, because every meal there feels special. The cocktails are consistently delicious, as are the appetizers/small plates. We order the pork belly press every time, and I think about it between visits. I also think about the mermaid wallpaper a lot, because it's just so beautiful.

By far the best restaurant in Regina. Extremely unique in a sea of chain restaurants that is the city of regina. Menu is ever changing and always delicious, as well as highlighting seasonal Saskatchewan ingredients. Servers are always on their A game and you never have to wait around while your table is getting prepared (if you have a reservation obviously). I have had the porchetta several times but keep coming back to the Burger. Odd for a high end resturaunt but it's perfect. We always look forward to coming to Avenue.

World-class food; Regina's new best restaurant. Caters to a wide range of budgets with no compromise of quality. Excellent atmosphere and will be our new go-to spot.

My parents visited Regina for the first time and I used the occasion to experience Avenue Restaurant. The menu had many options to appeal to a wide variety of tastes so that everyone at the table could find something to suit their palate. The cocktails were superb and the food delicious! We were seated quickly, the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and the service was quick and efficient. That being said, we were also not rushed and were able to enjoy the experience at our own pace (especially given the fact that the table was booked again in two hours). The only thing I could advise, if you are looking for a quiet, intimate meal, this is probably not the place. Everything about the experience inspired conversation so it was sometimes difficult to hear everyone at the table due to the surrounding volume. Otherwise, I recommend trying this restaurant and look forward to their next menu!

We loved our evening at Avenue. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Although we found the music too loud for conversation and the menu selection was a little limited. Overall it was a great experience.

Pretty loud and casual environment The scallops were really good, but the beef wellington was bland and gray The baked brie was good but did not come with focaccia as advertized (and the toast that it actually came with was over-charred)

Went out for a birthday celebration.... Isiac our server was great but the food was not . There was 4 in our party 3 of us had steak they were very tough and mine was under cooked . I could get a better steak for half the price pretty well anywhere else.

Excellent service, great meal! Highly recommend.

The classic burger is amazing. House dressing and fried onion on mixed greens were also top notch.

Super tasty food but small portions and quite expensive.

Regina needs more places like this. Upscale, casual dining. Fresh products and a elevated menu. The pricing is a bit higher than most people will be used to but it is well worth it. I have been here for both lunch with colleagues and a romantic dinner and both times the food was divine and service attentive. Hoping this place gets the attention it needs from the public to stick around and survive downtown Regina

An amazing first night opening. Definitely shows what an experienced staff can do. We had kitchen bar seats because we did not make reservations which were comfortable. Slightly upscale, but not pretentious, the new design is great for conversation and makes the space feel cozy. Excellent service and welcoming attitude. Multiple times I tried to choose a favourite dish and could not. Food is characterised by well balanced flavours with international influences with some veg only and mostly meat options. Menu separated into apps, small plates and entrees. Great selection of cocktails with some solid classics and some more adventurous options, I can't wait to stop by to try more. Little dissappointed by their beer selection.

I was excited to eat here because it looked very beautiful inside but realized they serve foie gras (tortured duck) and was super disappointed. In 2021 there's no need to serve antiquated dishes with that lack of ethics. Choose otherwise.
