BEST FISH & CHIP RESTAURANT IN TOWN!!!! Great for large groups or intimate dining. Very clean and classic fish and chip restaurant decor. Friendly staff and precious patrons. Portion sizes are perfect when you make it a dinner and senior portions and pricing available as well. Definitely recommend WHARF FISH AND CHIP.

Best fish and chips in Sarnia...well established family business. The decor is old fashioned and nautical with historical pictures on the walls. Service is very good and prices may be a little more but well worth the price. No wifi however which is the only negative. Will visit again.p

I tried the lunch special and it was a great deal with a huge piece of tasty fish with your choice of light or regular breading and awesome fresh cut fries like you'd expect from fish and chips. Served piping hot and everything was carefully wrapped and packaged.

the food is usually great when dining in but I have to say that during recent times, the take-out service has been poor! There have been several occasions when you get the food home and the chips are almost cold! It's not cheap so you can see why I'll b looking elsewhere for takeout food from now on!!

Went last night. (Good Friday) for our meal and we were very disappointed with the fish and fries. Both were very over cooked. The soup, rolls and coleslaw were excellent. Not like our other meals we have gotten in the past. We will try it again to see how the next trip is and go from there.

I was very disappointed with our fish order tonight. The fish was dry and the batter on it wasn’t very crispy. I also didn’t receive the receipt for the meal and thought it was in the bag when I got home. Needed it to split the bill with other people. I usually always have delicious food from there. After visiting a dying relative in hospital, our family needed nourishment. I researched the best restaurants in Sarnia and decided to try the Wharf Fish & Chips. I was met at every point of service with friendly and cheerful staff members who sincerely cared about providing excellent service. My mood lightened when the food arrived and I was so utterly impressed with the food quality: freshness; preparation; cleanliness (not oily - french fries were cooked to perfection in clean light oil); and the fish was cooked to its perfect level of doneness. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The chef, Will, and his wife, Donna, comprise an excellent and very competent business team. Chef Will took time away from his duties to sit with our family and explain the origins of his Chef career and the birth of his restaurant. Kris, our waitress, had us laughing and wishing to stay longer! If I could rate this restaurant with more than 5 stars, I would!!

Best fish and chips! Especially for take out! I come home and it's still extremely hot and not soggy! Including the French fries and onion rings. Been back a couple times. Highly recommend. However a bit pricey, but they do have specials on certain days to watch out for. Customer service is great as well.

Family pack lightly battered with fries and slaw all wrapped the old fashioned way in unprinted newspaper stock and placed in a paper bag reducing the steaming effect plastic bags causes. Realize that tastes vary among people, but in my flavour palette this is one of the best coleslaws in town! ????

Can't tell the difference between haddock and halibut fish. Don't bother with the onion rings, it's just batter and likely from frozen. Baked potato was the usual butter and regular sour cream on the side. Nothing special. For an establishment that specializes in fish and chips, we weren't that blown away. For two adults approx. $37.00 with beers. Decor is good - nautical themed of course. Bud light and Canadian bottled beer was excellent...
