REVIEWS OF Cromwell Grill IN Sarnia-Clearwater

Steve Levitt

This place is a gem . 50 years ago, young men from Greece immegrated to Canada , many worked in the restaurant business and later ran them . Meet Gus , one of the best and his all star staff . Any time you find a Gus or a Nick behind the grill of a diner ,you are in the right spot . Great generation of Canadians. Get in here before he retires .

Melanie Snyder Brandon

Every time I go into this place the food is fantastic! I usually get the chicken supreme which is pretty good.

Christie Anderson

New owners. Good breakfast and service.

Raymond Gray

AWESOME PLACE TO EAT AND MOMS HOMEMADE COOKING GREAT EATS NOW COMPLATES

Danielle Cole

Stopped in for lunch while at the first day of training. I had the chicken souvlaki and it was really good. It came with fries and a Greek salad which was very tasty. The souvlaki was really good to and had a good flavour without being overpowering. This low cost restaurant is good for home style foods at very reasonable prices. Dinner comes with soup or salad and the portions are very generous

B G

Customer service is amazing, price is good, and the food is good as well. I had the Cromwell Special which came with fries, but for some odd reason I liked the fries slightly better than the sandwich.

Jacob Kingdon

Awesome food, awesome people, good service. Kitchen could use a cleaning though, you can see a build up of stuff on the pipes when you look through the hole to the kitchen.

Linda Berry

Top tier breakfast and lunch. Have a nice new patio during the pandemic, with lots of room

Lise Horne

The Cromwell Grill in Sarnia to me they are the BEST Karen and her staff make sure you have a wonderful stay and a great meal never disappointed CHEERS for Cromwell Grill.

Alysha Pugsley

Jan 2020 - The Best back bacon, and the most satisfying traditional bacon & eggs breakfast in Sarnia-Lambton. Keep up the great work! 2018 - Have a coffee, grab a newspaper and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Great small town place, where customer service makes you feel welcome.

Jess, Vin and Shay!

Amazing food and staff. Always a great time, everytime.

Christine Parkes

Good food, greasy spoon feel, fair prices, nice staff, real home town feel .

Colin McColeman

The food was easily 4 star. about what you would expect from this type of place although will say the gravy was awesome. service was friendly but slow.

Eldin Mott

I have been going to the Cromwell for years! Either for a hot breakfast on weekends, or the Clubhouse with Fries & Gravy for lunch/dinner. Service is great, atmosphere is terrific and the food is to die for. The Cromwell is one of the select "few" places I'd recommend to those visiting Sarnia.

zMOFOz

The liver & onions are worth the visit from UK

Natalie Andrews

Huge portions great staff food ready on time for pickup

Clark Rake

Visit there about once/week. Service, food and pricing very good. An excellent "diner" experience. Original owner retired recently. New owner hasn't missed a beat.

James Barry

While the service could have been better, the food was incredible! Its not a fancy restaurant, by any means, but they know what they're good at and they stick with that. The excellent flavour and portion sizes of the food easily makes up for the middling dining experience otherwise.

Shayla Mclellan

Always love going to Cromwell! Food is cheap and very well made, and the servers work hard! Love the servers there they're always so kind and caring. Will always go back to Cromwell :)

Jesse McLean

BEST DOWNTOWN BREAKFAST IN TOWN! You simply cannot go to Sarnia without popping into the Cromwell. Recommend trying to clubhouse sandwich with fries and GRAVY!! Tuesday liver nights are always a joy to attend as well. Prices are a bit higher than average but always worth it. Keep up the good work.

Kyle Doan

Great hash browns - tasty with green onions. Enjoyed the omelet. Neat diner-like decor. Server was very attentive.

Danielle Bryant

Never answer the phone when try to order take out. So you drive over to order and they don't even acknowledge you while you sit there and wait to order but people who come in after you get service. Done with place. It's a joke

Amy George

Good food are family has been going their for years

Tom Klaasen

They have the best toasted turkey club sandwich in Sarnia; and they're not shy on the portions-thick hunks of real roasted turkey ????

Zee S

We visited Sarnia yesterday and in search for food found Cromwell grill. Attached photos is what we ordered and it was much more food than we could eat, but it was tasty. I have see places with same pricing and much less than here. Food and service were both really good. We will come back here again on our next visit to Sarnia.

Great food and good service at reasonable prices.

Local favourite! Close to the river. Downtown shops nearby. Food is delicious. Family atmosphere. Lots of parking.

Mark Grant

Gus, the owner, always greets you and makes you feel welcome. The Cromwell is a Sarnia icon and when you think of breakfast... It's always the first that comes to mind. Great diner with true diner flair.

Weetart ED (Darren Filip)

Best breakfast in town , friendly and prompt service , love the view from the patio

Gregory Tobin

Great diner atmosphere with quirky decor, food's good too. We enjoyed the breakfast special but also love the Greek salad and souvlaki at lunch time.

An EveryDay Canadian

Highly recommended, very friendly, great environment! Amazing food.

Nickole Atkinson

Food was great! The place was packed with loud vulgar rif raf. We could hear every inappropriate conversation within 20 feet of us. I will definitely return just never at the end of the month (welfare cheque day)

Cathy

breakfast was awesome and a walk by the Riverside Rainbow Park.

Jo-Anne Pfoh

Excellent pickup service. I called and placed my order at 10 am and it was ready for pickup at 10:40. No waiting and the food was piping hot when I got it home. The tomato maccanoi was incredible. Full of veggies and yummy goodness. Such cheerful service and you can connect with them online e on Facebook. I reached out there about soup options. They responded quickly. I'LL BE BACK!

Josh Matthews

Awesome food, quick service and friendly staff. Would give more stars but there's only 5. I'd recommend this place to eveyone

Robert McGarrity

Triple decker club piled high with great tasting fries. Server was fantastic and friendly. Whole place really rocks the diner vibe. Age range 19 to 90. this place would be a great hangover breakfast joint.

Camille Bruni

Fabulous food at fabulous prices...art is bright....vintage vibe...but the restrooms are really in need of cleaning. This is a busy spot and with the revitalization of downtown the restrooms will be well used. My husband said the mens’ room was absolutely disgusting. He goes once a week to eat breakfast here.

Aaron Robb

Love the Cromwell Grill! Gus is the best, the waitresses are all great even when they are super-busy. Never had a breakfast or lunch I didn't enjoy, and if something is amiss the staff do not hesitate to fix it for you. Good solid choice if you are in the downtown area, give it a try!????

jesse yon fong

My favourite breakfast place in Sarnia! Friendly staff, great food, cozy atmosphere. Its definitely my go to!

Jacob Orchard

Idk what happened to this place it use to be my Fav place to come now the service just wasn't good and the atmosphere not the same kinda Sad ????. Dont get me wrong the food was still VERY good well the eggs anyways my Bacon was Burnt. Maybe have to find ne breakfast spot.

Marie and the ghostmonkey

An hour from the time we sat down until we finally ate is a little much for breakfast. Food was ok nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Avy W

My favourite breakfast place in town. Can't beat it if you want a cheap, simple eggs and bacon type breakfast for a good price. Only downside is the booths. Cheap construction/little padding in the back means you can feel every movement the person behind you makes--can be very annoying. The food makes up for it though!

Joe Chan

Waitresses are always rude and rarely if ever come and check on you. I asked for brown bread the waitress said here you go brown bread as she put down white bread and gave me cold potatoes every time I come here the service and food sucks

Marg Westcott

My cousin introduced me to this go to place for breakfast in Sarnia. Fab food! Always busy weekend mornings so go before 9. Clean, friendly and easy on the wallet.

Jenni Tse

Most amazing blueberry pancakes.... had blueberry pancakes with ham and sausage... had to take a doggy bag was so full!!

Clint Normandeau

This place has been around for a long time and they know how to do a breakfast well, I have never had a disappointing meal yet. Went the other day and the waitress was friendly and kept the coffee flowing, food was good and hot. Priced like your typical diner. *Edit - they refused to serve lunch until after 1pm, left hungry at 12:40.. lowered rating to three stars :(

Nefi Guerra

Love their hamburger deluxe with mashed potatoes and gravy! Always large servings and service with a smile. Cindy is my favourite waitress, she knows her stuff inside out and is very fast along with being courteous to her customers! She leads by example and is always stepping in to assist anyone that needs a hand. She loves her job and it shows!!

Nora Mark

Great food and great service!

Adam Wood

Excellent genuine home style cooked food. Generous portions, attentive service and great value. It was nice to have one of the owners actually come to my table to ask me how everything was....that's what I call taking care of the customer. I am a travelling salesman covering the province of Ontario and dine out 4 times a week. I have to say that this is definitely a must stop for any traveller looking for a good honest meal in a nice comfortable setting. Don't forget to order the rice pudding for dessert.

Tracy A Marshall

We waited over 45 mins for our food which seems excessive for breakfast. The peameal and French toast were unfortunately overcooked, so I'd say it wasn't worth the wait. They seemed unprepared for a weekend rush, so probably best to go during the week. There are better places in town for a weekend breakfast. On the plus side, the prices are good and the coffee kept pouring while we waited.

Madison Zajda

The Cromwell Grill is a very good restaurant and the food is great. But when the place gets alittle busy you wait a long to get a second cup of coffee or water. Just like today asked for a refill of water and didn't get it.

John Duncan

Love coming here. Service is always fast and friendly, coffee is strong and the food is great!

Tiffany Clay Collection

Amazing service and the staff were very friendly. The food was top of the charts. Plus the prices are amazing. Would recommend for groups.

Bill Browne

I am an American and I spend time in Sarnia on business on a regular basis. I love the Cromwell. Great food and service. Always! And my assessment is over the course of a decade. Americans, take note: peameal bacon is the absolute best, and the Cromwell does it well. (Why don't we have peameal in the states? ) If you're not there for breakfast, which is fantastic, order the peameal bacon club sandwich for lunch. Fantastic. Long live the Cromwell!

Rez’d Out

10/10 I have been eating at the Cromwell since I was a kid, and have never had an issue, or complaint. Their breakfast, soups, Greek salad, souvlaki, and hot turkey sandwich are some of my favourites. Great staff, and owners. My favourite place to eat.

I really like the atmosphere, the decor, and the location. My issue is that the coffee is overly bitter. It's either left in the pot too long or they're using a cheap dark roast. Either way, I don't know how a breakfast joint doesn't do the coffee well. Lastly, and most sadly is that they always forget to squeeze out the liquid from the shredded hash browns before frying. This results in mostly mushy hash browns with hardly any crust on top, instead of a nice browned crust with fluffy potato within.

Cory Tetreault

Staff is awesome and food is great! Love their french toast for breakfast and the chicken caesar wrap for lunch. And the hot roast beef open faced sandwich is amazing (think it might be a new addition). Portions are above average size. I almost always have leftovers too bring home. New owner came up from being head waitress so you know she cares about the place. Couple new things on the newly printed, easy to read menus along with all the wonderful stuff from before. Only one negative thing to say is that they need to get WiFi but that might be a positive to some of you elder folks that still like to get out there. So for great eats, awesome atmosphere, and bottomless coffee, come and save some cash at the Cromwell Grill! You wont regret it! P.S. Don't forget to tip your wait staff, those girls work hard and they rely on them!

Great food in a small restaurant with friendly wait staff. Always a favourite for breakfast.

Chris Hansen

Breakfast was the best! Service was great! Proper home fries, pouched eggs to perfection and tasty ham!

Lisa Hekking

Good food, decent value. Locally owned hometown local favorite food near the waterfront! You wont be disappointed!

Glover Gaming

Good food. Good prices. Great staff. It's a typical vinyl seat diner that serves a late breakfast. It's not the cheapest in town but it's very reasonably priced. I've never had a bad meal here.

james gray

Food was good but the service was very slow.

nick brennan

Got take away from the Cromwell tonight for dinner - we had the family souvlaki meal - we had more than enough food to satisfy 4 adult eaters - In fact there will be some for lunch tomorrow for one of us - everyone loved it - lots of flavour, delicious fresh salad, yummy Thanks to the Cromwell team for a delicious dinner

Rhonda Royer

A go-to for downtown breakfast, with great bacon and egg dishes, as well as a variety of other diner-like meals. The staff are very friendly and the only downside is how busy it is on the weekends, and the speed of food at busy times. Definitely recommended for a good Sunday morning breakfast!

Tracy Boote

Excellent breakfast and service

Aaron Davis

Best club sandwich in the city. Everything else is also great. Highly recommended, especially for breakfast.

Veronica Verreault

Had veggie omlet and sausage. Good coffee, as mentioned by other reviewers. Service was fast and friendly.

Stephen Kiernan

Always the best breakfast! Great friendly staff (Linda is our girl) def one of our go to places with awesome food ... Always!

Honour J

Room was cold butter coffee hot and plentiful

johnny willy

Hot turkey sandwich is a must, can be busy at times but certain items are worth the wait. They serve breakfast late, and I've never had a bad meal or service here!

Ed Cott

Been going here for over 50 years. Gus and family never fail to make you feel welcome. Always home cooked style food!

Jessica Dawn

Great inexpensive breakfast. Always quality, always worth it. In and out, 13$ with proper tip.

Paul Tauschek

Server was attentive, efficient, and very friendly. Had my 5 month old granddaughter with me and server ensured everything she placed on the table wasn't put too close to little hands.

RogueNe8 Rogers

One of the best little hole in the wall places been going tbere over 35 years. My cousins were waitress there . Great food fun freindly atmosphere.

Steve Bates

poor service and we got ripped off payed more money for the food we got not watching what they put on the bill dont go go there they rip ppl off

Fr. Steve Marsh

Super good breakfast and awesome service.

David Burns

Home style meals .... Good sized portions and the price is amazing ... It has the look and the feel of an old "Mom & Pop Diner" and ever kept the prices in the retro too .... Great place ..... Try it and see ....

John Rogers

Weird they won't serve poached eggs after 11am. All you need is a pan of boiling water and a lid for the pan. Just strange - no obvious reason.

Margarita Ibbott (DownshiftingPRO)

This is a very basic diner with a good safe menu. I ordered a smoke meat sandwich, although it was good, it was pretty small. My husband had the french toast and sausage. Once again nothing special. I would go back if I wanted something fairly plain. The fun of this place is haveing a 'diner' experience. This estabilshment has been owned and run by the same family for over 50 years. It's fun to go for a diner experience.

Chad R

Excellent food, unsurpassed service, reasonable prices and big portions. My new Sarnia breakfast spot!

colleen rankin

Very small place easy to miss great food cheap prices. Clean and friendly staff great place for breakfast on a Saturday morning if you can get a table the place is pretty popular.

Dale Ferguson

Great old diner style restaurant just between Christina and Front street in Sarnia Ontario Canada. Always busy and always good. My #3 stop for breakfast and lunch.

SR J

Great breakfast at a decent price. Had dinner there too. Servers are friendly, fast service, hot food, affordable prices, friendly customers. Great place right downtown Sarnia. Two blocks from the waterfront.

kim Johnson

The food was delicious as always, but the gravy was not the same as it used to be, it was very plain.

Victor Jones

The best shredded potatoes with breakfast you can fine. Spoil yourself and add cheese and onions and you'll love them. The rest of the breakfast is always good too...get take out and eat at the river!

Rae McLean

We had to wait a long time to be seated. We did have 12 people. Been going to this restaurant since I was a kid.

Mercedes Johnson

Havent been here for a couple of years so we decided to make this the place to go for lunch today with family from out of town... Stopped in for lunch and we we were greeted promptly by a friendly waitress who I wish we had gotten her name.. She was fantastic! Excellent customer service skills and we watched as she served the various tables with such efficiency and pleaseant attentive manner. We ordered one meat loaf special and three chicken club wraps and coffee's . The food arrived at the table quickly and it was delicious!! Our family was very impressed as we did not have to ask for refills on drinks as the waitress checked on our table several times throughout the meal. Upon paying the bill We left a moderate tip as well as a tip on the table and told the owners brother about the excellent waitress that we had... Definitely go back again!

Karl Kameka

Service was great and food was excellent I recommend going

Scott Koyle

Food is always fresh and tasty. Served fast and hot.Staff are always friendly Great little place for eat in or takeout

mike cook

Used to be a avid fan, but after a cpl meals with grey potatoes, as well as being shut down to place orders... not so much anymore. Will seek out another favorite. Used to be a very frequent customer.

kim kim

Good food, reasonable prices and outstanding service. I am a road warrior and always looking for great breakfast places. This restaurant is my kind of place.

Eric Smith

Been there plenty of time great food. There is a guy there named Gus super nice. Will keep going back

Sylvia Gardner

This has been my favorite place to eat for several years. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, all have their specials of home made goodness. Love my breakfast with shredded hash browns. I think my favorite dinner is the hot turkey sandwich. The meats in the dinners are all cooked in house, none of that deli slices of turkey or beef. Portions are generous. Go and try their food served by friendly staff. Don't let Covid stop you. TAKE OUT IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Just call your order in.

Tonya Lyver

This is such a great place to eat good food friendly service try it you will like it

Bobbie-Jo Hamilton

Best breakfast in town, dinner is prettt good too

Colette Vallieres

The BEST greek salad in town! Great home made food .. Good portion sizes .. Breakfast is also fantastic .. Can't say enough about how good they are .. Great service too ???? ????

Greg Gambino

Always a good place to eat

Chris Greig

The steak and eggs is the best I have ever had. No matter where I have gone to have it. Nothing beats it!

Wendy Brown

Food is consistently tasty. Update: had dinner there with my elderly inlaws. The waitress was very patient with them, helping open packages, bringing extra napkins, etc. The veggie wrap is the best I've ever had. Its stuffed with grilled veggies and cheese - not like other places that give you mostly iceberg lettuce. And their salad has lots of veggie variety. I highly recommend their raspberry dressing. Yummmmm.

Jon Seaboyer

This place is always BUMPING for breakfast, probably because of the competitive prices, home-esc atmosphere and good quality of good! Will return despite how busy!

Leo Tellier

Great food and great service. Food is always tasty.

Laura Ristau

This business has been around since I was a child, even before LOL. What can I say, except awesome and friendly staff and eager to please. When I come to town, go there for breakfast; keep up the great work. P.S. the club sandwich looks delicious

MIKE Waters

Delicious food! Great service! Feels like home.

Terry Robinson

This place has been around for years and has always served family style diner type food that is good and wholesome. One of the better places in town that serve liver and onions right! The portions are good and you are either full or taking some home. The staff is cordial and quick to serve. No fancy meals but very good home style meals.

Angel Hogg

This place is an amazing place to sit with family & Friends the food is good I love how it always tastes the same and the staff are nice and friendly I recommend this place for friends and family to go and eat at

Salena Clarkson

Sandra Gleason

Been a couple times, no complaints. Fast friendly service. Delicious cheap eats! :)

Travis Cranmer

Had a hot hamburger with curbside pickup during Covid and the food was great as usual with generous portions

Chantal D'Arcy

Great restaurant! Great service. Good food! It's busy though.

Melody Van Praet

Was looking for a Breakfast spot, was one of those old school Breakfast dinners! Was fantastic! Got the mixed grill! Food was supper hot & tasty! Waitresses were super nice, offer coffee refill every time they walk by, Had the chance to speak with the owner on our way out. Said he's been there 52yrs! Wow!

Bruce West

I love the Cromwell. Great food and service. Always! And my assessment is over the course of a decade. Americans, take note: peameal bacon is the absolute best, and the Cromwell does it well. Tina Hawes

Great food, good social distancing, fair prices and good fast service

Al Robinson

Friendly staff with amazing service. Great food. Great Prices❗ ???????? Most welcoming Diner Of Life❗

Richard

Awesome spot for breakfast in Sarnia

Dave Stankevich

Great breakfasts, great staff. I come here a lot. I love that when you order bacon and eggs, you don't get 2 really thin, pathetic slices like most places. Instead, you get 4 or so decent slices! Also, the hash browns are great. Ask for onions on there!

Lisa Wagner-Tremblay

To start, would not be my choice for breakfast again. Service was slow, food was just ok. Breakfast should not take almost an hour to get to the table. For breakfast I had the mixed grill for $9.75. Portion size was not great and meat was over cooked and greasy. I will say I had eggs over medium and they were cooked perfectly. For breakfast in sarnia I would recommend to go elsewhere. Much better options in this town. If this place wants to be in the breakfast game then they need to up that game for sure.

Kahlil Roper

Excellent place to eat!! Lots of food prepared as you like it. I highly recommend!

Matthew McDonald

The Cromwell Grill has got breakfast/brunch all figured out. Exactly what you'd expect when you're looking for a classic bacon and eggs day starter. Fast service, friendly staff, and fair prices. Try their signature hashbrowns with green onions and secret seasoning. They don't miss a beat with lunch or dinner offering great menu options all day.

Holly Westbrook

The best breakfast in Southern Ontario. The staff are fast and friendly. Most importantly, the coffee is made perfectly every time. This place rocks!

Patti Deroche

Horrible exspirence! Been there before and had the gyro it was good went back a few months later with a friend and my son, I ordered the gyro again and it was on stale pita bread! I had one bite heard the crack n tasted the stale bread I picked at my fries a bit cause I was hungry n waiting for my company to be done eating. I'm not the type to confront a situation like that because I have bad anxiety, at the end of thier meal the watress came and asked me how mine was and I told her. The boss man came out and was exstreamly rude was yelling at me in front of a full restaurant and my 4 year old son saying I was lying about the stale bread he told everybody in the resturant it wasn't stale it was grilled.... He demanded I pay at least half of the plate price because apparently I ate more then half not the one bite. When I got the bill it was forked up to $40, I payed it an was told loudly not to return. I wish I didnt pay, I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Anne Tellier

Fast Friendly and Fair prices. The food is always great and more than enough to eat. The place is always busy.

Denise Cook

Great service and great food the best in sarnia to eat.

Jim Brown

Great food, one of my favorite breakfast spots in sarnia. The wait for food seems q little much, even when they arnt super busy.

Ron McCaffery

Great family restaurant. We're long time customers; and keep coming back for the quality food and service. Generous portions and fair prices leave us satisfied every time.

Jon Moore

One of my favorite breakfast places in town I would recommend the mixed grill. If you're not here early be prepared to wait for a seat this place is pumpin.

Laura Mulvihill

I love the Cromwell grill, a cornerstone breakfast joint in Sarnia, that is so much more... Great portions, delicious food... Pretty sure it's gotta be the longest diner around in Sarnia.... The well known hidden gem dining experience of Sarnia.. Liquor Licensed

Linda

Dine in

John Cardwell

LOVE the food and staff but it was so busy we waited 1hr for breakfast.

Tracy

You did it! Congratulations! World's best cup of coffee! Great job, everybody!

Steve Nemeth

Pancakes or Waffles ?!?! Breakfast done right no matter what you order ... eggs over medium even lol Great little spot, worth the wait if there's a lineup - quick service and family friendly ambiance.

Nancy Parsons

Love this place, great food, great staff, owner is hands on with his buisness which is nice to see. Can get busy though so there can be a wait for food but its worth it

Tracy Jones

I had the WORST experience of my life! My boyfriend and I ordered breakfast and our food came out not the way it was ordered. When we asked for our order to be corrected,, The owner came out to the dining area and got into a confrontation infront of the entire restaurant with us telling us we could not have the food the way we ordered it ,..it had to be the way he made it because he has made it that way for 15 years. Also he was very demeaning and rude! I would NEVER go back there again or recommend it to anyone.

T H

Can see why it's a Sarnia favourite! It's been around for decades too. Food is home-cooked, delicious, generous portions. Their hash browns (grilled)are the best, and the three-egg ham omelette was the best I've had. If you go here for lunch, expect to wait in line for a table. Park farther away and walk there, parking is at a premium, and it's a one way street, going west FYI.

Bridget Smiley

Very good breakfast and lunch

Miranda Nolet

There was a large hair in my food, specifically cooked into the top of my eggs. I told them right away, they took it back. Had to wait about 20 minutes while the rest of my table got to eat their food until mine was replaced. I was then charged the full price for my hair filled food, no discount applied at all. I asked about it and was told they would have given me a free drink but I just got water so yes I had to pay full price. The food was not good, the service was not good and apparently they think it’s ok if there’s hair cooked into your food. Absolutely disgusting. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Desmond Weaver

Stepping into the Cromwell Grill is like stepping into history. My daughter and I sat at the front counter and admired the nostalgic items throughout the restaurant. The waitresses impressed us with the number of plates that they could carry on their arms while Gus came out of the kitchen and entertained us with stories from years gone by. We definitely enjoyed our time here and the food & service were great. 5 stars in my book.

Jeff

Good greasy spoon establishment for lunch, brunch or breakfast. Their early bird pricing motivates you to go the extra mile for good food for cheap prices!

Chuck Joosten

Easy handicapped parking on Front st Put my ramp on the sidewalk for my wheelchair Very accessible at front door and to the back .Had one of my favorites the Rueben .Food and service were great . I did have to raise my wheelchair seat to cheat and see the st Clair river LOL

Alycia Nilsson

What can I say? It’s my hometown breakfast place. They have new owners now, so we’ll see what that brings! I hope they don’t chance a thing!!

melinda Thomas

Good food reasonable prices and quick service. Place was packed when we arrived but still only ended up waiting 20min at our table for the food to arrive.

Christopher Delmonte

Great food and excellent service. We were a large table during a busy time, and they had no problem seeing to us and getting us our food in a timely fashion

Korie

This restaurant has excellent food, wait staff and prices. It doesn't look like much, but don't let the old school diner vibe fool you, this is a great place to eat.

J Fearns

My buddies sister just took over the food is amazing big portions better than leaky tank

mightyboink

Great breakfast, nice and quiet little diner, service was super fast and staff was friendly.

Terry Fulton

Wonderful and varied menu ... Gracious proprieter and host ... Stellar staff ... Lunch counter ... Fast and friendly service ... Great breakfasts ... Clean and bright interior ...

Shirley Holmes

Good food but very busy on Saturday

Sandra Monteith

Wait staff were nice but overwhelmed. My biggest qualm with cromwell is that their menu hasnt changed in years. Its basic breakfast foods with no imagination. Prices are reasonable though.
