I ordered a Mr. Bain's Burger for take out on a Friday night. I ordered at 4:15 p.m. and was told to pick it up at 6:00 p.m. I knew it would be worth the wait and it is to be expected in these Covid times. I wasn't disappointed with my meal. The hamburger is a meal in itself. I had a side of their awesome signature potato salad.

We had an early dinner today and were very impressed with the service and food. Very friendly and attentive service. My friend had 1/2 chicken with corn and carrots, and I had a strip loin steak with mushrooms, onion rings and rice. He had a beer on tap and I had lots of cold ice water..

The food is extremely good! I am kicking myself for not trying this place earlier. One thing I like is they have good vegetarian options for for my mother-in-law when we ordered from here (so we are all happy).

Take care of your customer when you make a mistake, do something for them while they are there sitting for over an hour at your location waiting for thier food. Offering a free appetizer on thier next visit is not taking care of the customer at that momemt. There is no next visit so the free appetizer does nothing to satisfy the customer for you mistake.

Sad it’s no longer a KFC but still has some of the leftover decor of what used to be. Had an awful experience a while back. Our server was visibly under the influence and very out spoken. We will never return.

OMG !!! received a gift cert for x mas, order full rack , 1/2 chick , Greek salad , cheese bread ... Absolutely bloody amazing , this place is off the rails , everything was A#1 , everything , no complaining ( very unusual for me ) Definitely be back here , well done Bains BBQ

We ordered takeout wraps on Monday the wraps were okay but what I did not expect was to be served several day old coleslaw. Coleslaw is an inexpensive item and when you order a side for 5.99 you at least expect it to be fresh from a fast food joint. Not impressed this was not fit for consumption when we opened the container it actually smelled and it tells me that have poor food handling procedures

went for the first time with some girlfriends and just loved the food and service. The restaurant is a bit loud but that's because everyone there is having a good time. waitress and host always checking in at our table to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything.Prices are reasonable. food was excellent . I had the beef brisket and warm potato salad. It was awesome. So good I called my friend and asked if he wanted me to bring some food home from there. Before Leaving Sarnia later this evening i called and placed an order for pick up, I ordered the pulled pork and another brisket sandwich with warm potato salad brought it home and hubby just loved it.

The food here is amazing. The last time we went, I got the steak. I don't know what exactly they put on it, but it was the best steak I've had in A LONG time. Staff always seems friendly, and the service is great. Strongly recommend!

Nice BBQ joint went to Bains w my family on Saturday it was tasty I had the brisket plate w coleslaw and veggies my wife had deep fried pickles and smoked meatballs mom had pulled pork sandwich and dad had smoked meatloaf w onion rings everyone enjoy the dinner if you’re in sarnia and you want some BBQ it’s not a bad option

My favorite restaurant in Sarnia easily. Go every Friday night and it’s always consistently good. Waitresses are friendly and amazing and the food is really great. Owners are fantastic people and really care about employees and their community. Great local beers on tap too. Must try this (unless you’re a vegetarian) ????

We had great service, as always. The warm potato salad is the best ever and a great option if you don't like bacon is the substitute the bacon for cheese...OMG....brings the dish to a new level of perfection. The wraps are very tasty and generous servings all around...will be returning often

Vacationing in Brights Grove and happened to come across this fabulous restaurant. Owners were a delight, very welcoming and the food was delicious. A friend suggested that I try her favourite BBQ spot in Sarnia for some take out and I was not disappointed. The hot potato salad was delicious and the coleslaw I had also is part of my top five favorites, I had the ribs which were Smokey and tender, and had the right amount of seasoning and sauce... I also like that they were precut between each bone to make them easier to pull apart or cut. The owner and staff were really pleasant and easy to talk to while getting the order. I will definitely return again if ever in the area maybe next time for a lovely sit down to really get the full atmosphere of the place. Keep up the excellent work!

Amazing BBQ!!! This was some amazing BBQ! A family run roadhouse right in the heart of Sarnia! This is a spot that’s been here for years and one that I have been meaning to try. Am I glad I did!!! I had the the Smokehouse Meat Platter. It feeds more then two people so make sure you are hungry. It comes with 1/4 beer can chicken, 1/4 smoked rack of ribs, smoked pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked sausage, 2 smoked wings, and 3 bacon wrapped meatballs. Choice of two side: I got the Mac and cheese and the potato salad with bacon chunks. Top it off with two cornbread muffins! My belly was so happy and full. Thank you to the entire crew at Bains for an awesome experience. You can dine in, sit on the patio, or get take out. They even do catering for larger events. Give this place a try if you haven’t yet. We love bains BBQ, we usually order the meat platter as it has a variety of meat and a couple sides we always choose warm potato salad and bbq beans this platter feeds 2 people easily with some left over for hubby's lunch.

I ordered there meat platter lastnight with the hott potato salad and mac and cheese. All the food was amazing and cooked perfectly! It was all packaged very well and traveled well and stayed hot until i got home. The server was super friendly and very helpfull on the phone! Cant wait to try it again!

Our first time visiting and it was very good. I had the veggie burger with salad and my friend had the bbq salmon which he really enjoyed. There were only a couple little things, including that the mac and cheese is a bit of a let down-- we were wishing it was more of a homemade style. But overall, really good service, not very long wait times, and decent food. Not a ton of vegetarian options but I think that's to be expected with a bbq place.

This is becoming one of my must stop places in town. Another great visit. Arrived shortly after 5:00 on a Saturday night and the found a booth for us. Right now they are doing a fundraiser for one of the staff who is in hospital so they had some special drinks and appetizers. Food was great as usual and I had one of their special desserts. The Apple crumble was tasty, a bit more brown sugar and it would have been heavenly. Very impressed with how the staff is motivated to help their co worker.

Arrived after a Sarnia Stings vs Peterborough Petes game. They welcomed us in and gave amazing service. Great food - excellent pulled pork, burgers, poutine and potato salad! A must stop before or after the game at Progressive Autosales Arena - just around the corner! Hope to be back soon!
