Momento was a great find during the busy winter holiday season. Able to accommodate for a large party while respecting COVID precautions. Despite targeting a French demographic, their servers were able to service English speaking customers in a very professional manner. Needless to say, their service was impeccable as was their food. The salmon tartare is a definite must try. Their deserts were also very enjoyable. Definitely would come again and recommend to my family and friends.

The sweetbreads and salmon tartare were excellent as usual. The first waiter asks us if we wanted dessert. He returns with the menu of desserts without telling us which ones are included with the table d'hôte. We took the cake included with the table d'hôte, it was too dry for my taste. For the bill, the advertising Albert Rousseau hall on our tickets mentions that there is a 15% discount on a table d'hote night show without any restrictions. We are told that there is an asterisk on the menu and that the discount does not apply to sweetbreads. I can understand that it's getting harder and harder to find competent people, but misleading advertising is not happening. See my photo of the advertisement and my bill. On avait l’air de déranger en demandant une meilleure place. On nous apporte le menu et la carte des vins. On choisit notre repas et le serveur part avec la carte des vins sans rien demander concernant les vins. J’ai pensé partir. Un autre serveur beaucoup plus gentil nous apporte notre entrée et nous demande si ça va bien. Il nous rapporte la carte des vins et nous amène rapidement le vin choisi. Les entrées étaient correctes. Le ris de veau et le tartare de saumon étaient excellents comme d’habitude. Le premier serveur nous demande si on voulait du dessert. Il revient avec le menu des desserts sans nous dire lesquels sont inclus avec la table d’hôte. Nous avons pris le gâteau inclus avec la table d’hôte, il était trop sec à mon goût. Pour la facture, la publicité de la salle Albert Rousseau sur nos billets d’entrée mentionne qu’il y a 15% de rabais sur une table d’hôte les soirs de spectacle sans aucune restriction. On nous dit qu’il y avait sur le menu un astérisque et que le rabais ne s’applique pas au ris de veau. Je peux comprendre que c’est de plus en plus difficile de trouver du personnel compétent, mais la publicité trompeuse ne passe pas. Voir ma photo de la publicité et ma facture.
