I was so excited to see a Chuck's Roadhouse in St.Thomas today because I really enjoy the one in London. I ordered the steak and lobster which is my favorite on the menu. First they forgot the garlic butter so the waitress btought it out right away. I would be lucky if there was a tbsp in the tin cup. My first bit of lobster I spit out right in front of the waitress. It tasted spoiled. It was sooooo bad. Then my medium well steak sure was well done! Plus I had to saw away at it with a butter knife. On a positive note the fries, gravy, and corn were good. I paid full price and dufnt eat the steak and lobster, even after I complained. The manager actually asked me if I suddenly became allergic to lobster/seafood!! Seriously? I wont be going back. So disappointed

I wouldn't even give them a one star!!! We were having a private party in the back room and we were ALL cut off because we were too loud!! It was 10pm at night and NO ONE else was even there! I had only had 2 beer in 2 1/2 hours because our serve completely ignored us the entire night! None of us were driving, we could have had more than 2 drinks! Our server clearly wanted to leave and end her shift instead of making money! So the 25 people that were left ended up going to another bar and were able to spend 400 else where... too bad you didn't want our business we will continue to go else where!!

For a roadhouse, their steak options are slim. I ordered the NY Strip and was not impressed. Not the most tender peice of meat. Others in our group ordered burgers and they looked more appetizing.

My food was tasty and hot. Partners entree showed up cold. Our appetizers showed up cold. Waitress was very apologetic for the kitchens shortfalls, but after a cold appetizer you'd think they'd get back in the game for the entree. The atmosphere was great, waitress was very friendly. Can't reccomended based on the food I tried. Nachos were bland with unseasoned beef, the majority of chips having no cheese, and nowhere near enough salsa to salvage it. Burgers were greesy, lopsided, and bland. The fries were alright but plain fries hardly redeem the experience. Maybe I came in on a bad day but all and all it was a disappointing experience especially for the price tag. The atmosphere was nice though and it was enjoyable to be able to dine in. Staff were also very friendly and prompt. Response: As I'm unable to respond to the response to from the owner publicly I've updated this hear. My dine in took place on Saturday July 17th and I wrote this review after trying to stomach the leftovers and being unable to. To clarify my burger in particular was greasy due to the bacon on it which was literally dripping, though even without that the bun was incredibly stiff as if stale or grilled and the burger itself was bland and lopsided leaving bites underwhelming and unequal.

Good food, unique extras and great service starting out. Kids food came out quick as well as one in our party who has diabetes and needed to eat. Great taste and many selections. Then one in our party didn't get their food and had to ask twice before it was delt with. Then basically abandoned our table, asked for refills and didn't bring them blaming back up at the bar for 4 waters and a root beer. Would have given a better rating but service was horable in the end.

Good spot in downtown St. Thomas. Fairly large. Parking in the back and street parking out front. Usually sports on the many TV in the restaurant. When I come here I order the Prime Rib Sandwich! Always excellent. I've tried the Mozza & Mushroom Prime Rib Melt and it was another hit. Kudos.

**This restaurant has a completely VEGAN MENU as well as general pub and steakhouse menus.** This may have very well been the best meal I have ever eaten. I have 15 years experience in kitchens and I have no problems referring ANYONE to this place. We started with Fried Mushrooms, they were fantastic. I had Mozza and Mushroom Prime rib, and my wife had a Flat Iron steak. My sandwich was PHENOMENAL. My only critique is that the fries were nothing to write home about. They weren't bad, but something more original would go a long way... try brining them or something. Anyways. My wife's steak was ordered medium and was cooked to perfection. It was literally soft enough to cut with a fork. Purely amazing. Also spoke to the waiter, who was quite courteous and quick with our orders and he told us about the vegan menu he helped add to the establishment. I personally didn't look at it, as I'm a carnivore myself. But, he is a vegan himself, so it may be worth a gander. The place was clean and orderly, the atmosphere was nice, it was an excellent experience all around. I will be back. Many things to try.

Exceptional service, but the prime rib and mashed potatoes left much to be desired. I realize prime rib is a fatty cut but it was much fattier cut than what you would normally expect. The mashed potatoes were just bad. Old, dry and tasteless. I should have sent it all back, but I rarely if ever do that. There's better places to eat in town.

Went with my stepson for lunch amazing food he had the adult portion of Caesar salad he ate the entire thing and he's a super picky eater but he loved it and was 100% satisfied I have the cheesy tortellini absolutely to die for lol we will return.

Since new owners a year or two ago the menu, service and prices have all increased together. A great place to go in town with a group. The pretzel bites are absolutely divine. Very good draft selection for st. Thomas. They can also accommodate very large groups in side rooms. A great location for the town.

Our sever Alonzo was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, came back to check to see that we were happy with everything. He definitely made the experience enjoyable with his friendly personality . If you haven't checked out the Roadhouse yet I definitely suggest you do.

Dinner was ridiculously inexpensive. Very irritated that I couldn't take half my burger home. I had upgraded my side, had an alcoholic beverage so it's not like I asked for the bare minimum. Don't make me feel bad because I don't want to eat the whole burger. Find different rules if you're going to contribute to an obese country.

The server was great. Liked her. My LO's nuggets were good..good portion too. But I was disappointed with the food for a few reasons: We both got fish and chips and the tartar sauce was a HuGe disappointment... I usually like a lot of it and had the server bring extra but we both thought it was disgusting!!! I've never had a tartar sauce I didn't like... most taste the same..pretty basic recipe ...So was it Expired? Or did someone have no clue on how to make it?.. gross...They need BETTER tartar sauce. I can't be the only one who expressed this...I think anyone with taste buds won't like it. Second, when substituting SweetPotatoeFries for an extra 2bux to your 15dollar meal, you expect MORE than a TINY bowl of fries...there were probably 8fries in the bowl what? Plus, they forgot the sauce...and I was done most of them by the time I had the chance to ask for some. Waitress was great though in every way and my tip represented that..I just hope she didn't have to share it with the kitchen. I will be reluctant to return and it's too bad this was my first time here. :/ Edit: Thank you for taking the time to respond and make considerations. I appreciate the response. I do hope I have a better experience my next visit because for the most part, I did enjoy it. I'm not super picky, I enjoy being able to go out, enjoy myself and write a good review.

4th visit here. Usually a 5 star experience. Met some old friends here for drinks. Decent variety of draft beer and excellent selection of bottled beer. Didn't have any food this night, but it's good everytime I eat there. Staff is friendly and attentive except for one server, who happened to be assigned to our table. When we needed a refill, she was nowhere to be found. Thankfully the other staff members stepped in and took care of us. We ended up seeing our server again that night. She was chatting with another staff member at the back of the restaurant. She's lucky her work mates picked up her slack or the rating could have been lower.

I usually LOVE the roadhouse but today we had a not so great experience. Went with my husband and 3 small kids. Had to wait quite a while for our food (about 35 min for our appetizer and 50 min for the main course) our appetizer was a smaller portion (loaded cheese fries which I’ve gotten many times before) than it usually is which was disappointing and we didn’t get plates to share it. My steak was over seasoned and the vegetables were already cool when I got my dish. Just over all kind of disappointed with the experience tonight.

We had always heard good things about the Roadhouse and finally made it there yesterday, and glad we did. My wife had the Prime Rib, medium rare with baked potato and I had the NY Strip medium rare with fries and sauteed mushrooms. Both meals were excellent, and cooked as ordered. Great atmosphere and staff. Will definitely be going back . I should mention that the prices were very reasonable. Good job guys!

This place Is disgusting!!! Found a napkin under my steak. Was it a used napkin who knows? Could not finish my meal. The kids meals are horrible. My son ordered the spegetti, it looked as if they literally opened a can of crushed tomatoes a put one teaspoon over noodles. ,y daughter ode red the hotdog it WASNT EVEN DEFROSTED! Came here for father's day, arrived at 550, left at 745. Got our drinks and 2/3 of our appetizers, no quality checks no drink refills no apologies for missing one of the apps. If we had known we were not welcome here we could have found another restaurant to go to.

We came here with our toddler when we first moved to St. Thomas a year ago and had a bad experience, the food was awful and staff not much better however we are so glad that we came back and gave it a second chance. We heard about them changing their recipie for their spinach dip and omg it is delicious! Could use a few more pitas as my husband and I had to fight our daughter over who got to have more (she's two, yes she won) they were soooo good! I ordered a burger and my husband got the steak, both were very tasty and at a good price. We were very happy, I only gave them a four just because the day we went it was super busy with a party and the servers were stretched too thin. With many other restaurants in St. Thomas choosing to raise their prices lately it was nice to find Roadhouse remained affordable. I just placed an order for pickup as I'm writing this because now I can't get their spinach dip off my mind!

This review is about the online response of poorly received reviews by Roadhouse. So here's the thing, when the Roadhouse is good, it's good. When the Roadhouse makes a mistake, apparently the google response includes arrogance to negative reviews, doubles down and claims the dissatisfied are liars. If you can't take criticism, you shouldn't be responding online, Dan and Sam. Let me be clear, I was there. The food was slow. I know it's a hard thing to admit, but you guys dropped the ball that night. It was unacceptably slow. My phone dropped to 3% while waiting with our 3 kids. I get it. It happens. It wouldn't deter my future visits. Until I read the response. My wife left a 2 star review, which included that she typically loves your restaurant, but was disappointed in this last visit. Magically by her name alone, you were able to pull her order, paid by debit - which does not include her name, but somehow knew exactly who she was and her specific order, unless she was the only person all day who ordered cheese fries and steak, highly unlikely. The app did not come out in 15 minutes as you claimed. Even if your system identified my wife in the sea of hundreds of people you got that night, it would only calculate when your server inputted the start time, not when we sat down. So either, your response is a fabrication or you've mistaken her order for someone else. To other reviewers reading, if you scroll through negative reviews, you can see the arrogant response of Dan or Sam which quite frequently calls the disappointed customer a liar. Guys, this isn't cool or professional. I'm okay with mistakes. I'm not okay with lying about mistakes. I've cooked up a little dish of my own for you guys this time. Enjoy this 1 star humble pie. You lie online to reviewers about my wife to make yourself look innocent, I don't bring my family back.

We still love this place! I cant give 5 stars though because the kids menu makes me (and my 5 year old) want to cry! Their options are SO boring! Classic "kid friendly" options ????. Its usually not a problem we just order something that's large enough for me to share with him. Not all kids want grilled cheese, plain noodles in sauce, or chicken fingers; would be nice to see more kid menu items that are just smaller versions of what's on the regular menu.

My party ( 3 ppl ) had the please of coming into this establishment on Thursday night for dinner and drinks after a long day as we were traveling through St. Thomas on our way home. Our server Nick was awesome, super friendly and funny and made awesome recommendations. I had an amazing steak fajita and the spiked punch both of which where at his recommendation and the mouth watering descriptions he provided. I will definitely be making a stop here again the next time I'm in the area. Thanks for the great service Nick and the amazing food. A++

this restaurant is my go to for outings, reasonable prices, friendly staff and delicious food each time I've visited. My favorite buy is the barbecue chicken quesadilla it's an appetizer but can serve as a full meal! It has a sports bar environment but is also kid friendly. They've expanded on their vegan menu as well which I've heard is also quite tasty.

TLDR: Good atmosphere, classic and quality pub food, good service, a reliable experience. A classic staple from my childhood days back in St. Thomas. We never expected anything fancy or different and we rarely recieved it. What we did always get to enjoy were regular recipes that stood their test of time and continue to be delicious on repeat visit after visit. Coming back years later nothing has changed. Truth be told the Roadhouse may very well be the best place in St. Thomas to enjoy purely solid pub food before or after coming back from a hike or off to a movie. I look forward to returning yet again hopefully to still enjoy their classic chicken Parm.

Nice casual spot in St. Thomas. Parking in the rear or you can park on the street out front. Lots of TV's if you want to watch your favourite team. Daily specials are worth a look. The St Thomas Roadhouse has done an amazing job through this pandemic. Their staff have went above and beyond to ensure that we can all enjoy a safe meal out or a meal to go, all with a smile on their faces. And the owners have worked hard to ensure they could stay open to serve the community through this, and likely have had to make some tough choices. I think we often forget all the hard work that goes into ensuring they can stay open. We love the food and enjoy seeing the cheerful staff when picking up our food or sitting in to eat. I have even saw one of their staff members, Nicholas, publically give great reviews to other local restaurants to help bring them business as well. And to me, that says a lot about a person and a business. I think that it is beautiful how some of our local businesses have came together and supported(and cheered on) each other. They are a great part of our community.

Waitstaff are informed about menu, ready to check and sub for allergies or even dislikes, and manager is responsive and personable. Generous but reasonable portions for a fair price. Last night we were meeting friends for dinner at the Roadhouse. My husband is in a wheelchair and as I was approaching the front door and wondering how I was going to accomplish keeping the door open and get the wheelchair through the door three of their servers appeared, opened doors, helped move the chair, and sat us with our friends. Me and my wife came in today for an early anniversary dinner. First off, the service was amazing. The waitress who sat us and waited on us was super kind and friendly. She made us awesome drinks. We both ordered 1 Piña Colada each and then i ordered the Banana Split desertini and my wife ordered the Upside Down Cake Quarantini. We enjoyed our drinks very much. The food was delicious and came out quick. I ordered the 10 ounce new York steak with seared onions on it and Baked potatoe and my wife ordered the ultimate Mac And Cheese.

We attended here for a lunch one day when my sister was visiting town. Super disappointed in the service and the food. My sisters chicken burger was so badly burned (it looked over deep fried) that she couldnt eat it. My mother asked for caesar salad, she got a garden salad. After we had eaten most of what food we could eat, our waitress finally walked by and we had to flag her down to ask for the salad to be switched for the caesar salad. Our waitress seemed annoyed :( We tried to joke and make light of the situation but she was not amused.

Been a few times now with a number of différent friends and family members and all have been very happy with their meals! Every visit the staff was very friendly and helpful. While having lunch with my daughter there yesterday a "customer" came in and made a huge seen and the waitress was SO amazing handled the woman with such class! I was happy that my daughter was with me to see how even when you are treated poorly it is always better to take the high road.

This is a great, established, community restaurant. It has great food, and a casual, friendly vibe. The menu is extensive with everything from salads to wraps and full steak dinners. My favourite part is that they have a full vegan menu for those who don't do meat. It isn't just one item either....it is about 8-9 different dishes! I love the open faced beyond hamburger hot sandwich. So good! My daughter has had the Primavera pasta and it was delicious. A great place to take larger groups of people. Staff are super friendly and accommodating ????

No complaints here! The service was great, the food was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. They have some of the best specials in town! Thursday fajita nights are my favorite. The owner, Sam, and another young lady who works there, I think her name was Shofia, do a great job of showing off the fajitas as they sizzle on a skillet on the way out from the kitchen. Makes me want one just thinking about it!

Newer ownership has seriously decreased the quality and quantity of food. This place used to be THE best restaurant in St.Thomas. Not now. Portion size has diminished and price went up. Honestly, overall, I don't think I was too too happy with this place. My mom, fiance and I had called to place a take-out order, we had called and the girl said the wait time was going to be an hour because it was extremely busy (my fiance and I were out at this time) my mom calls me to let me know and then calls back to order our food. She let the man know on the other end of the phone she was told it was an hour wait and the man let her know it was only going to be 25 minutes. We ordered off of the new Vegan Menu, my mom and fiance got the Buffalo Chikun Sandwich and fries and I got the Beyond Roadhouse I believe it's called. The Buffalo Sandwiches were good but I feel like the patty needed to be cooked longer and maybe toasted the bun, My burger could have been cooked a little longer too as it was still a little pink. When my fiance went in to get the food he had mentioned that they were SLAMMED with people and a long line-up, which is understandable since it was the weekend, but I guess I had too high of expectations. But I must admit, it's SO nice to have a restaurant in St Thomas have a Vegan Menu and make it easy for vegans or even just people with restricted diets to go out and enjoy a meal and a drink with non-vegan friends!! Very well done.. just some suggestions ^

We ordered for a group today. The burger and wrap we ordered was amazing, but the four taco salads we ordered has barely anything other than lettuce and ground beef in it and even the lettuce we had mainly lettuce stems and there wasn't enough dressing to go with it. Would never order a taco salad again. Although the staff is wonderful and usually when we order from there everything else is amazing!

Well they say they have a vegan menu, but it was a joke. Nothing was gluten free and the vegan menu was all vegan junk food. The things that they did have gluten free were sides and Meat. With all the radio ads promoting a vegan menu you would think there would be a better selection. This is absolute bs. I will not be promoting this place EVER!!! Expect the same sort of backlash from others.

I had the 10 ounze roast beef. There was lots of fat an the cut of meat and was priced the same as Waysides all you can eat roast beef meal that comes with yellow perch as well. Service was slow and we were there for an hour+ waiting for our food.

So discussed with this place. Service was horrible... I opened their ketchup bottle and it blew up all over me. Of course I was wearing white. When I let the waitress know she laughed, went and wiped the bottle off with a dirty wet rag and placed it back on the table. When I went to replace the ketchup with a bottle that wasn't funky from sun exposure! When she brought the bill she then decided that maybe it was time for a manager to come over as I let her know that I was not impressed that they didnt even apologize. Wow! it is truly a sad state when customer service doesn't matter any more.

The worst service I have ever had in a restaurant! We reserved for 10 people for 6:30 pm.At 8:15 received food. 1 hour & 45 mnute wait for food and no discount or anything. Mgmnt in their wisdom booked a party for 100 and gave them priority service over the rest of the customers.Waitresses took the brunt of concerns while no mgrs were anywhere to be seen. Disgusting!! Food was good when we got it.

Ordered the chicken quesidas and when I got it , it was made with chicken nuggets that was darker meat not white chicken breast meat. I've never had that before and it changed the taste. I was with a large group. I was 3rd to order and last to get my meal out of about 25 of us. Not impressed.

This is a great local stop for a lunch with the family, a group of friends, or solo. We stopped in with our family and were greeted promptly. We were given a great booth which was spacious enough for the five of us. The place is large enough to fit big groups, parties, and events (obviously when Covid-19 ends). The staff were friendly and ensured to check on us at appropriate intervals. The food was extremely delicious. We all loved our meals and talked about how great they were. The only item we thought could be better was the Carnivore Burger. It could use some additional variety of meat, not primarily ham. The other items we ordered were perfectly done, with a great deal of care in the plating of the food. The restaurant also has a variety of patio seating, both in the front of the restaurant and at the back (where there is additional parking).

Just ordered the prime rib with mash. I haven't had the Roadhouse in quite along time but everything has always been good, until now. The cut of meat was over 50% fat and looked like it had gone 15 with Floyd Mayweather. Although my meal had just been prepared (had to wait a minute) by the time I got home (2 minute drive) it was cold. I can honestly say that the standards here have taken an enormous dive and I don't think I could eat here again. Its too bad because it isn't worth the hassle of calling and getting a refund with a take out order. A shame really.

The food was delivered late and cold. The beef nachos were so salty, the salt was all you could taste. The loaded perogies were slimy and tasteless. The cheese in both the perogies and nachos had bonded so hard to the paper that even where you could separate the paper from the cheese, ink had transferred into the food. The pickle spears were the only item we could safely eat entirely, but they were nothing special. Normally this level of enhanced disappointment doesn't cost $50; however, paying this much for three tiny and mostly inedible portions added the sense of being robbed at the same time. Clearly, I won't make that mistake again.

Ate there Saturday, pretty lackluster experience. Server seemed very uninspired and disinterested. We ordered an app which was never delivered, mentioned something after our mains arrived to which she unapologetically said "oh they must have forgot about it" and walked away. Came back 5 mins later and offered to pay for our drinks, cool. App finally arrived 20 mins after this - after we had finished our meal (mozzarella sticks) and it was lukewarm, not to mention extremely salty.. cheese was actually cold in the middle. Paid our bill and upon getting back to the car realized we were charged for all of our drinks despite server saying otherwise. Place was dead and I kind of understand why now, I won't be back. Burger was good.

Went with a large party and only had one server that also looked after other table so service was slow. I ordered the New York steak and was dissapointed. It was either reheated in the microwave or thawed in one. The green beans were hard and uncooked. The French fries were good though. Once the server had fewer tables she took good care of us.

She was very pleasant and the food was way better than I expected it to be but went to go to the washroom at the end of the night and decided against going to the bathroom and waiting to go home it was so dirty and disgusting. I've given this restaurant multiple opportunities to impress me. However, I am repeatedly disappointed. Some of their Waite staff is amazing,but the rest need to go. Clearly retraining hasn't worked. We ha e consistently received cold dinners, bad drinks from the bar and even I incorrect meals. Bringing this to management attention has failed. Bad food, bad service followed up with an "I don't care " attitude means I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please get serious about your business and I will support you, but u til that time, I won't.

A worker there by the name of Nicholas Wilhelm has (on two separate occasions) spread misinformation about two different businesses with the Hope of tearing them down. Roadhouse has known about this and remained completely silent. This is NOT how local businesses should act against each other, especially in these difficult times. I won't be returning. Update: it's hilarious to see the owners in full damage control, having their employees post overly-positive fake reviews instead of facing the problem head-on. Just further proving my point.

Went to the Roadhouse for the first time in years for date night, and will not be returning. Boyfriends nachos were burnt and stuck to the wax paper in the container, my fries weren't cooked and were complete mush. After waiting some time for our waitress to return, she agreed the nachos were bad and was getting my fries remade. Before we could say we didn't want the nachos, she left and brought new ones back stating she took them off the window in the kitchen so we didn't have to wait. We asked if we could take them home, and she said because of the rules we couldn't. (Even after the screw ups) Told her we didn't want them, and she said she can't take them back...we stated we weren't going to eat them because the first ones were gross, so she did take them back. A few seconds later she brings nachos out to a man at the bar. The bell in the kitchen never rang for an order up, so you can only imagine what that means...disgusting. I didn't bother eating my food, and asked for a box. The bill came and while she was going over it, I realized I was charged for a different drink than what I ordered. ...no. I was given the wrong drink and charged for that, honest mistake I guess but that was taken off the bill. There was no mention of changing the chicken in my wrap from crispy, to grilled and I was charged $1.99 for that. At that point, I didn't care. $41 later for garbage food and left a $4 tip... if I knew how terrible our experience at the Roadhouse was going to be, we would have went to McDonald's for date night. Our food probably wouldn't have been so terrible, and we would have saved a lot of money.

Casual dining. I have tried several different items from the menu and usually thoroughly enjoyed them. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the hamburger. It was a frozen premade patty. I understand that they have changed the burgers, but, I have not tried them yet. Reasonable prices.

Wasn't overly fond of their prime rib. Pretty bland taste and 1/3 was a solid chunk of fat. Asked for mashed potatoes but got a baked potato instead. They took it back and it seemed like they mashed my baked potato. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I'd go back but ordering a hamburger would be a safe bet.

Since moving to St. Thomas in 2016, we have enjoyed many a fine meal at this popular Family Restaurant. The menu is balanced and affordable, their food is reliably tasty, and their service is friendly and efficient, considering the size of the place - which is huge. I particularly enjoy their prime rib, which is a staple on their menu. Their New York steak is also very nicely prepared. They are a fully licensed restaurant, and it's often quite busy. But I usually consider that a good sign ...
